Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Lots of good some bad

Have to agree with some reviews...... lots of walking at this resort for sure. The talk of it smelling? I didn’t notice anything amiss. Maybe it was The time of year? The food was amazing. The drinks were very good as well. The beach was crap for sure. Very disappointing to say the least. Not enough shade to go around. The chair game is terrible..... you need to. E up by 5 am to get a place in the shade. The shows really need revamping, needs to have some kind of nite life here.  [... read more] Will. Ever go back? Probably not. I like the beach and you cannot swim in the ocean. Which is a vacation must for me, The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: So so

The Buenaventura is a great resort rooms where ok staff were excellent. The only problem was the food. Our group was very disappointed. Breakfast was good but that was the best of the day. Lunch and dinner was not good at all most of the meat was so tough that you couldn’t chew it and no flavour. Maybe it’s me but when I am on a holiday in a tropical climate winter stews are just not right. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Holiday!!

We just got back from the Grand Bahia Principe Coba and we had a great time!! It is a very large resort with lots of walking if thats what you like to do. Resort is pretty well maintained from what we saw over the week. Great resort for families that is for sure!! Food at the buffet was good and I want to say a huge thank you to Omar and Daniel our servers for breakfast and lunch all week!!!! Antonio our Air transat rep was very helpful as well. Now on the non positive side , the a la car [... read more]te restaurants were just ok, that is if you are lucky enough to get a reservation, from what I heard some people book almost a month in advance so that leaves very little left for the ones that want to book when they get there. We tried to book the don pablo at the tullum section and the earliest we could get was 9:30pm and only 1 day was available. Rooms are starting to get a bit dated but in descent shape other than the mattresses which were hard as a rock,unless you like that. In my opinion the royal package is not worth the extra money paid as you really dont get any extras!!! All in all it was a great week and will probably go back!!! Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great Adventure Worth a Look

Great Adventure worth a trip to Mexico. Great location. 40 mins from Cancun Airport. Stayed in the Privilege. Worth have private check-in. Worth having a la cart every night. Worth having a privilege area to eat without crowds. Buffet choices or menu choices. Bar in room stocked everyday. Privilege had its own Butler for help with everything anytime. Room service 24hrs. Route 66. Great burgers and wings. Clean and neat every I went from bathrooms to pool to beach. Food was amazing. Service was  [... read more]great. No complaints. Ocean had seaweed and a few rocks. But you expect that at any ocean. Worth an Adventure there. Book it. 5 stars.

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Amazing resort!

The resort had a lot of restaurants to choose from...no line ups the food was delicious! The rooms were huge and I absolutely loved having a tub in the room and one on the deck! Fridge was always stocked and the best part for my husband and is that we got to have room service! And the wait for that was 30 min or less. There was always loungers at the pool and beach lots of shaded areas if you needed and tons of activities to do during the day.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Amazing time!! loved every minute!!

Right from the start of looking at this resort on Tripadvisor I had contacted Nicolle Kirk ( who by the way was amazing to deal with - highly recommend her ) She took me thru the process and made it ever so easy. This was our very first all inclusive resort. It superseded all of our expectations!! We had went with friends and they are well travelled. The lobby was beautiful, staff are super friendly and more than happy to help with anything. The grounds were immaculate! Between the two buffets there was lots of choices and the a la carts - delicious. The fridge in the room was stocked daily, and the rooms were very clean. There is lots of choice where you would like to spend your day beach which includes options for shade and sun as well as hammocks. The pool goes on forever. Definitely lots of room and there is even a quiet section!! I had been expecting line up and no chairs wherever I went but this was not the case. I was blown away with the cleanliness of the whole resort. I would definitely recommend this resort. As for ourselves we will definitely be rebooking if the opportunity arises.

The resort was alway clean, easy to get around, food was good, customers service was great. Would recommend 100%. Lots of action down at the big pool, slow and relaxing at the smaller pool. Drinks were Awesome

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: This place was over the top!!

I don’t have one complaint about this resort! The food was phenomenal and so was the service, everyone was friendly and always available. This resort has something for everyone, families, groups, wedding parties, if you stay at this resort you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing resort, super clean and friendly staff. Food was excellent! Beaches were cleaned daily and bar service was quick. Lots of activities on the resort and staff will help facilitate excursions as well

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: FAMILY RESORT

HOTEL NICE AND CLEAN, NICE POOLS, GREAT FOOD, GROUNDS WELL KEPT. STAFF VERY NICE, BEACH IS NOT GREAT BUT OK. EXCELLENT FOR FAMILY WITH YOUNG CHILDREN. BARS SELECTION GOOD, NOT A PARTY RESORT BUT ALSO LOT OF YOUNGER CHILDREN SO NOT VERY QUIET.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Just ok!

Just got back from an all girls trip, had tons of fun!! However, the company was what made it fun. Beach was terrible as it was full of rocks and seaweed ( not the resorts fault) Pools need a some maintenace. The drinks were fantastic but unfortunately that is where fantastic ends. Nightlife was ho-hum as was the food! Spa was good. Thankfully we didn’t pay a lot to go the week we went so all in all we got good value for our dollar!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: amazing resort

Lindo was very clean, the rooms were a wee bit dated however comfortable, no complaints about food, we visited three parts to Iberostar elegant properties, would highly recommend to families, many activities for all, pools clean, ocean a little rough only had a few days of ocean swimming however beach very clean, staff were most helpful, we hired the photographer at the lindos to take family portraits excellent however pricey photos,

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: great holiday experience

Excellent food ,service, helpfulness,welcoming,great facilities we had a wonderful time being part of a destination wedding. A fantastic place to relax or have fun. I would thoroughly recommend a couple having a holiday like this.The Staff are very friendly from the Gardener to the Managers .We tried the food in a variety of restaurants we found the cuisine Exceptional in all of them .The buffet was also just as good. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing resort

We loved the resort...it was impeccably kept. We had an ocean front room which was a suprise...they left us wine and chocolate covered strawberries and a towel bunny for our last night ..it was a nice touch .the service was awesome ....the a ka carts were just okay however...I would suggest going for the first sitting ....loved Krystal that was my favourite....my rating would be 9 out of 10 ...and I would definatly go back again!

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Huge resort, disappointing beach.

The property is huge, with tons of pools and restaurants. It’s beautiful and the staff are amazing - every single one was over the top friendly. The beach was a huge disappointment (obviously not the fault of the resort). Not swimmable because of crazy amounts of seaweed. Incredible lattes and excellent food. Tons of swim up hotel rooms if you enjoy pools.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Wedding In Mexico

Second time in Cancun. visited this resort due to my sister getting married. I have no complaints. The hotel was kept very clean including rooms.all the staff were excellent. Lots of food options with the various restaurants. In terms of activities the hotel has lots to do throughout the day or night .

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Needs updating

Food was good ,buffets where repetitive and needed more variety, internet was poor and should not be limited to one small area, beach and pool chairs few and in poor shape,i found myself taking two damaged chairs to make one good chair and dragging it from one end of resort to another,actually witnessed guests fighting over chairs. First room had no working lock on patio doors had to pay for upgrade to make my wife feel safe,not anywhere close to other 4.5 stars we have stayed at. Staff at resta [... read more]urants and on grounds were excellent but guest services was terrible ,we had one day of rain and where going on excursions to playa Carmen and they couldnt get us a second umbrella because there was only one pre assigned per room and they couldnt get us another one ???? It was a simple request and they were absolutely useless.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: A Great Resort

This hotel, although quite big, was very nice. Quite modern and well kept. Rooms were fabulous and spacious. The main pool which is also the activity pool lacked activity at times. The disco was located on the outer edge of the resort which was kind of removed from the hub of all activities. I found it never busy possibly for this reason but there were golf carts which would take you there. The sky bar was a nice place to hang out for live performers. The nightly shows were awesome as thry play [... read more]ed live instruments and they sang. The beach or lack there of was fine. It's common on that side of Mexico for beaches to be like that. Alot of erosion going on. Great for snorklers. Seaweed can be a problem on windy days. The food at the buffets were great. Lots of variety. The best A la Cartes were Steakhouse and Japenese. Never got to really enjoy the whole emenities of the resort due to its size. Staff were amazing all over the resort.The spa services are well worth the extra $$$. We treated ourselves on the ladt day.

Hotel was very nice and clean and staff members were also very friendly and the pool was very clean the drinks was good beach also was very nice n clean like to go again service was fabulous room cleaner was friendly

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Sweet Memories made at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya

Joined my daughter and son in law and their 2 children, 2 days after they had arrived at the resort. Beautiful large clean rooms with a choice of a king bed or 2 doubles plus a queen pullout couch; very comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful courteous staff. The lazy river was great fun, snorkelling off from one of the beaches was nice but not the variety of fish one would find in Cozumel but interesting to view that part of the reef just the same. Food was very delicious and they provide a special kids menu at all of the a la cart specialty restaurants . The kids club was great for kids 4-12, but you can go there if you accompany your younger children under age 4 and the staff were fantastic! There is also a quiet adult pool if you're not into all the action filled family events at the large main pool with swim up bar and music. Something for everyone,but might be alot of walking for someone with mobility issues as only owners at the resort were allowed to use the resort transportation. The free dolphin show at the resort was great. No complaints from me, just thankful for the great vacation experience!
