Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very good resort.

This resort is very well run. We had the good fortune of spending half the time at Sian Ka'an and the other half at Coba. There is a reason why the former is an exclusive resort - smaller resort with more personable service. Coba has a good selection of buffets, pools and restaurants. You have to keep reminding yourself that it is a huge resort with a lot of guests. Our only gripe with all the resorts in the group is that as a non smoker we would find a convenient spot outdoors and within a few  [... read more]minutes there would be someone lighting up a cigarette nearby and their smoke would waft in our direction. This would occur first thing in the morning and continue throughout the day into the evening irrespective of the location. Non smoking outdoor areas would be a great option. Otherwise good value for money. Staff in general were very good.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing family resort

Everything was amazing from the rooms to the pools and the food! Kids club was well run and they give you a pager for when your child is ready to leave. The only thing is this resort is pretty secluded- taxi to the nearest town is $50 usd each way.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Outstanding resort

This is a nice small resort, but not short on amazing views from all rooms, excellent service and great food. There was nightly bands or entertainment until about 10 or so. If looking for great nightlife this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for relaxing and snorkelling this is perfect.

Everything about this place was A++++. The most beautiful place I have ever been. Food and service was over the top. Although the resort was full we never lined up for anything. Was with a group of 8 family which included a 9yr., 15yr., and 18yr. old. The small individual building pools were the best. Was only at the main pool twice in the week. Fantastic..Fantastic..vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great holiday!!

The only problem we had all week was that our room wasn't ready for us until after 4:00 and we had arrived at the resort at 1:30...long hot wait. The staff was warm inviting and fun, the resort clean and accomodating..had a fabulous vacation over all.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Spotless, very nice resort

If you're looking for a small resort, this is it. Immaculately kept inside and outdoors. Entertainment throughout the day and evening is the best we've ever encountered over the last 25+ years of travelling. Pool wait staff was superb. Having said that, the bartenders were somewhat aloof and arrogant...4 different bartenders continuing to clean glasses while you stood waiting for service. We were very disappointed in our room. Although spotless, it was very small. We've been to 4 Secrets R [... read more]esorts and I supposed we expected a king bed junior suite and we received double beds in a tiny room facing the jungle. Could not enjoy our balcony due to insects and Coatis on the table and chairs. 11 days without being able to enjoy our balcony or sit on a sofa in our room was extremely disappointing. Pools were nice however the quiet pool was dirty on the bottom and was missing a lot of tiles. The floating pads are great to lie in, however, there is certainly not anywhere near enough of them. Top of the line liquor was enjoyed and the food was good. Buffet food was excellent as was the Portofino. Steaks at the Seaside Grill were good but half the thickness that we are used to at home. For example I ordered a Filet Mignon and it was about a cm thick whereas at home it would have been an inch. It tasted good, but just not what you would expect from a "Grill". The lobby was very nice, a great place to enjoy a drink before and after dinner. Nice entertainment there as well. The weather was absolutely excellent.

Very large resort so be prepared for a lot of walking Friendly and accommodating staff. Great family vacation .We traveled in a group of 17 people ranging from 10 yrs old to 57 . There was Something to do for everyone

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Great resort

Resort was great and service was excellent. All the restaurants were great especially Italian and Mexican. We did not spend too much time on the beach or pool but it was okay. We went to 5th Ave. quite often since it was so close to the resort. It was very safe. We will go back again. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Paradisus Playa Del Carmen Roulette: Great Time

Stayed at the resort November 26th to December 3rd. The up side: Room was very nice, all the employees we encountered were very courteous and professional. The grounds were fairly clean, the beach was easy access, lots of ala carte restaurants, ( we never went though as we do not like to have to book and have a schedule on holidays. ) lots of lounge chairs and swimming areas. decent entertainment. The down side: The beach had quite a bit of seaweed but if you walk down a bit it is clear  [... read more]of any weeds. If you want to go to fifth avenue you will want to take a cab. It's not really walking distance and probably walking there would not be recommended anyway. If you take a cab use the pesos. The exchange rate with the cab company is not good. We also found the resort a bit too quiet for us. We like to hear live music, latin in particular, but the resort only had this for one hour twice in the week we were there so we took a cab in the evening and went to fifth avenue where there is loads of all kinds of live music until five in the morning. Overall we liked this resort a lot and would recommend it.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Third Stay - Best Yet

The resort for us has always been excellent in everyway. The greatest part of our stay is getting to know the staff. In our eyes it meets and exceeds our needs. Is it perfect...no but the closest it can be. The choice of dining is great. A wide selection of food satifies all. We will come back again.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Hidden Gem

The best vacation ever! Spent 7 days in paradise of the Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness Resort. Booked this Holliday with Wendy at Tripcentral. We went Transat Vacations and had no problems. Resort was amazing with all rooms ocean view. Food was fab and the staff was very friendly. We can hardly wait to go back.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Buitiful resort and hotel

Rooms are spectacular The beech is rocky and very small The food was not as good as we expected steak house the t-bone steak was too thin and lots of fat The Italian restaurant spigetty was a small serving and no taste to the meat balls. The pool and swim up bar was nice The resort overall is too big and too much walking

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Simply perfect!

we loved this resort! The grounds are kept pristine and the rooms are comfortable and modern. Every room has a hot tub on the balcony and we loved that all the rooms in this resort have an ocean view. The food was fantastic! The service was fast and the staff were so thoughtful,happy and kind. We tried all 4 of the specialty restaurants. Our favorite was French fusion ( we went twice) but they were all delicious. The nightly entertainment was usually live music and some nights the dance floor [... read more] was full because it was so good. Some nights was 70's 80's and 90's bands...hard to stay in your seat and not dance. The beach is amazing. White soft sand and the beach staff keep it free of seaweed that washes up overnight. Those guys worked really hard early every morning. The girls who bring drinks on the beach work hard too. They are regularly coming by to serve you. We swam with turtles and saw so many varieties of fish as we snorkelled in the water very close to the hotel. The overall feel of this resort is restful and calming. We loved it and have recommended it to many of our friends and family already since we returned home. Thank you Akumal Bay beach and wellness resort for a fabulous 10 day vacation!

Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Room was great although the bathroom was small with only one sink. Service was exemplary. Restaurants excellent. was very disappointed with air canada vacations. our plane seats were in different rows on the way to toronto. no instructions as to where to find the shuttle to hotel. waited an hour before a shuttle came. had to call air canada to book seats back while we were in toronto overnight. no info at cancun where to catch bus to hotel.  [... read more]have been on many vacations with westjet and transat where everything was taken care of from the departure to arrival and back. would not recommend this company.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: YOU WILL WANT FOR NOTHING!!

We have been travelling to Mexico for over 20 years and have never stayed at any resort twice,last year we stayed at a very high end location just up the highway from this resort and had thought we would not find a better Resort, but the Iberostar Grand Paraiso has changed our minds. From the moment we arrived we were taking care of beyond our expectations, the staff is fantastic, from the grounds crew to the desk managers, your comfort and enjoyment is really a very important issue for them. [... read more] The food at the buffet is unreal, you do not need to eat at the restaurants. Lobster tails, steaks crab and everything else you can imagine are available daily at the buffets. This resort has made us rethink our never stay at a resort twice thinking, we would go back here without a thought. it is not the cheapest vacation we have ever had, but you will not regret staying here, so treat yourself and have the vacation that you will not soon forget. Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Beautiful Resort

The grounds, beach and pool were fabulous especially the pool. We enjoyed the Japanese resturant. The service was excellent. The wildlife on the resort were really interesting. The peacocks and parrots were beautiful.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Incredible!!!!

We loved every minute of it. The staff, the accomadations, the food, the pools, and the ocean. I went with my 2 yr old daughter and she just loved the kids area as well.Just everything was simply amazing. I would most definetly recommend this resort to anyone. 😊

We had a great experience the first time in this Hotel and we had amazing time the staff was nice and friendly the food was excellent we wood go back any time.We been some different Hotel in Mayan but this was the best from all the others.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Beautiful Resort

This was a great resort. I can't think of anything to complain about. The service was exceptional, the food great, the nicest pool of any resort I have visited, very clean ( they even scrub and wash the sidewalks). the rooms were great and a beautiful beach. Also lots of peacocks to brighten your day. What else could you ask for?

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing all round trip.

This spot was huge haven't seen it all so will just have to return. Staff friendly helpful treat there work place as there own. Food great no shortage of anything. Clean never mess anywhere public areas clean. Bit of drive from airport but free tour.
