Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Amazing resort

This resort was pristine, the food was amazing, our fav was sofrito the steak was beyond great. The staff at the resort was great. The animation team was so much fun. Black Panther is terrific in his job. We stayed in the Amnesia junior suite the room was so spacious and immediately clean. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this resort. It was a much needed vacation and it surpassed my expectations

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Awesome resort!

First of all, this place was HUGE!! But thankfully there are many carts and lifts traveling around all day, evening and even at night to help get you around. The beach was beautiful white sand and the ocean was so nice to swim in. Awesome, huge pool to share with swim up bar and plenty of space to find a beach chair. We were here for a friends wedding and the ceremony and reception were amazing. The staff are all friendly and accommodating so you never really have any issues.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Good resort for the price

Stayed at the Casa marina Jan15th-22nd, 2019. This was our first visit to Sosua. Hotel is in a nice location and well laid out with several pools. Scenery is beautiful with back drop of mountains. What was lacking in the rooms was made up for in both the quality of the food and service. Great friendly staff and nice dining area over looking the ocean. Plenty of sun deck chairs even though the hotel was full. The older part of hotel’s accommodation needs to be updated. Overall for a three star ⭐️ hotel it was a good experience and I would book again and consider an upgrade. Wifi is free on the beach but we were told it wasn’t. So we paid extra to have in the rooms.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: Nothing Special

Overall the hotel had all the basis accommodations The overall staff was great and friendly 1.Unfortunately when my niece got bit by some unknown bug and her foot swelled up while we were out on the town When we returned to the hotel, the night time security and the front desk refused to let our local friend drive her up to the reception area. I understand there was a security issue. No one offered to bring a wheelchair. The hotel grounds are big and she cried the whole way to our room. We f [... read more]inally requested a wheelchair the following day. 2. The food seemed to be catered more towards North Americans - I would have preferred more authentic cuisine. Also the late night snack bar was very sad. Nothing worth eating, very disappointing 3. I am also disappointed that the hot tub never worked. I was looking forward to taking late night dips.. That never happened

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Beautiful Resort and beaches, fantastic trip!!

The Resort Bahia Principe El Portillo in Samana, Dominican Republic was fantastic. Absolutely no complaints with the facilities or the food .... and the beaches were very impressive! The staff were all very friendly and work very hard! This is our second time at a Bahia Resort and they have high standards which is noticeable. Thank you Laura Mulvihill Spry from Trip Central for another amazing experience! You know your stuff and nailed it once again for us!

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Spectacular Resort

Everything was excellent. Very clean, food great, friendly people, beautiful surroundings, excellent entertainment every night. The beach was amazing; spent most of our days there. First time we went back to the same place. Favourite of all our vacations!! Would recommend to anyone.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: My experience

We did enjoy our time at Chic. We went for our friend's wedding. However, when we got there we were super excited, but that changed quickly. Our group was all getting their rooms and we did not. They then proceeded to tell us that our room had been cancelled, which is weird since our flight was fine and we were on the attendance on the bus on the way to the resort. They told us they couldn't do anything to upgrade us for the disappointment. They didn't even offer us a free massage or anyth [... read more]ing. I was very disappointed with how they treated us.

Grand Memories Punta Cana: Good and Bad and questionable?

Resort was clean and rooms are newly renovated and WiFi through out the resort was fantastic. Also bracelet for keys to your room were great and no reservations for the al la carte was nice. Buffet at selections was plain to average an never changed the items at all and the beach buffet (grazie) was not good at all. What saved this place was the Royalton access to there sports bar, Martini bar and coffee shop.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: A Beautiful Work in progress

We enjoyed our stay very much The renovations are still going on but the grounds and pool areas are very well kept. Everything was very clean. The only thing that wasn’t great was the staff were almost all inexperienced and it was very evident in the dining area Hopefully with experience and some time that will improve. We look forward to returning next year. T and S

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Amazing time !

So much to do, so many pools restaurant options and more ! Staff is so friendly ! Never in long lineups or crowded areas. My second time and enjoy it hugely ! Beautiful scenery and rooms, endless opportunities for activities

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Decent Place

This place had everything we needed for a nice fly and flop, the rooms where clean and pool was awesome all new chairs which where very nice, the resort overall was very well manintained, The only real problem was they have to try and keep the food a little warmer and food was only average, but you could always find something to eat for sure, The pool staff bar tenders are the best very nice and do a great job making you feel welcomed. Riu Republica: Awesome holiday location

This was a great experience! Our room overlooked the street and it was very quiet. Staff was very attentive and hard working. It is a large resort, but easy to get around. I loved all the restaurants because of the different themes. The 2 buffets offered so much variety as well. There were so many pools and bars, it was impressive. If you were hungry after the restaurants closed, there was food at the centrally located sportsbar. This was truly a vacation place where I let go of my stress. The b [... read more]each was beautiful just many vendors there. My friend and I went shopping due to the rain, but this mall was very different than a north American mall. Very high prices and very pushy vendors. I liked the shop on the resort because it had a variety of everything and nobody was pushy. There were many activities like bingo, dancing classes, foam party, water slides, beach party, and other fun things. The shows were impressive as well. The staff do a great job encouraging guests to have fun. I will be very happy to visit this resort again.

Riu Republica: RIU rocks!

RIU Republica was a great resort to go to. Great hotel, many places to hangout, eat and lounge at. The staff were excellent, attentive and treated us very well. Remembering us from the previous day. Always cheery and friendly. The resort itself is big, and has venues on each side of the resort, that was fun, entertaining and a good time. The beach was wonderful, soft powder-like sand and a great site to see. The food was good, much variety for dinners, and the buffet was always delici [... read more]ous. The jerk chicken on the beach was soooo good! Our room was great. Clean and comfy. I don't have any complaints. This is the 2nd RIU I have been to. RIU resorts are the best that I have been to for cleanliness, awesome staff, food, entertainment and a relaxed atmosphere. RIU Republica is an adult only resort, it was a nice new experience. It was awesome to go and play at the waterpark without having to butt in line in front of a bunch of kids..haha.. I was the kid! Definitely a good spot to vacation.

Paradisus Punta Cana: BEAUTIFUL RESORT!

My husband and I went for 1 week for our honeymoon. We would go back to this resort in a heartbeat! It was so beautiful, clean, well-maintained and tranquil. You can relax the whole time or party if you want to! There are lots of restaurants to choose from and the buffets had a nice variety of things to eat everyday. We especially liked the fact that you could order a whole pizza to your room via room service for no extra charge. The only thing that I feel they could improve upon is the  [... read more]cleaning services. The staff didn't come around until later in the day to clean rooms and we found this a little inconvenient. Especially when you have an early dinner reservation and you get a knock at the door after 5 pm asking if you want your room cleaned. However, that being said, all of the resort staff are quick to rectify any problems you may experience. My husband and I discovered that first hand.

Riu Republica: Amazing Resort

The resort was beautiful! The food was great and the service was superb. All the pools were clean and not too busy. Everything was close by. We went in Jan 2019. Defiantly recommend this resort. Lots of entertainment at night and in the day.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great Resort

Amazing: corals and fish right at your finger tips Food: great, quality and variety Management:good Beach and chairs: good Entertainment: very good Potential improvements:1.tennis court lights (not working) 2. Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Beautiful....but

Resort is beautiful and nicely landscaped. Beds are hard & uncomfortable. Pools were closed every other day for cleaning due to accidents happening in the pool. Food was decent but very hard to book A la cartes unless it’s done immediately after arrival. Kids club was very boring and lacked any real entertainment/toys. Shows were obnoxiously loud, especially their 10pm Castle light show which sounded more like horror movie music than kid friendly music. Beach was impeccably clean and lots of  [... read more]chairs. Trolly service was great as the resort is massive.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: trip was OK..but we won't go back

Our trip was Jan 10-17 2019. If you go to this resort read this carefully. IT IS NOT A 5 STAR, just because it has a golf course, swim up bar, houses over 2K people and has 7 a la carte restaurants if not a qualification for 5 stars. The service was just okay. 3/5 The rooms ( I upgraded PLUS had 2 family suites) were awful, truly awful! They all need a massive update! They are old and renovations are long over due 2/5 The food was pretty good 3.99/5 The grounds were lovely 4/5.... BUT [... read more] i'm not sleeping our there! The beach chairs were pathetic! they need to clean them replace them! 2/5 If you get this place on sale, go, but DO NOT PAY REGULAR PRICE!

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: No regrets.

My friend and I had a great time. The food was excellent. Entertainment was great. Service was excellent. Weather was beautiful. Room was good. Price was amazing. Paid 750$ for 7 nights, airfare, and food. Few tips: although my friend and I did not have bed bugs a few people we met did. Don't let this deter you from going. All you need to do is check your bed in between the creases. If you see some then request another room. Try to book al acarte before you get there to ensure there are openi [... read more]ngs. You should be able to do this on there website or app. The Japanese and Mediterranean were excellent! Kayaking is free for one hour each day. Goat cheese with omelette is amazing for breakfast! Wanting to go again in April! Enjoy!

Blau Natura Park Resort: Blau Natura Eco resort

The resort overall is very nice, lots of food options, staff are very nice and friendly. Lots of nature in the resort in terms of birds, peackocks, ducks, flamingos, etc. Lots of green trees, palms and bushes. Ocean was great, the beach however needs to be cleaned of the seaweeds more often. The hotel rooms need some upgrade. I've stayed in super savers rooms in other resorts and the rooms were very simple but at least the bedding would be colourful and the maid would always make either swan [... read more]s or hearts with the towels. It doesn't cost anything but coming back to the room from being outside all day makes the experience a lot nicer and happier. The rooms at Blau Natura eco didn't have that :-( Overall very happy with my stay but if those little things were added I'm sure it would have been nicer!
