Ocean Eden Bay: We loved it!

My husband and I stayed at Ocean Eden Bay May 14-21st for our Honeymoon. Immediately upon telling check-in we were Newlyweds, they sent us to the Privilege desk where we were upgraded to an Ocean Front Room, two butlers, access to the private beach and restaurants, a full breakfast in our room the following morning and a bottle of champagne. We were also immediately greeted with Rum Punch! Recon helped us to our room and he was funny and friendly! Romain and Aneika were absolutely amazing and ch [... read more]ecked in on us every day. They always made sure we good. Roxanne, Hyana and Trey were the greatest bartenders and quickly knew what we liked (they were all good but those three were our favourites). Adrian, at the private beach, was there when we needed him and made sure we had what we needed. The Jamaican Grill was delicious and so were all the restaurants we went to (Steakhouse, Thali, Marlin, both Buffets and both Privilege Lounges). The buffets had a variety and the late night restaurants were great too (Marlin & Route 66). Housekeeping was perfect and our fridge was always stocked. The grounds were always kept clean, staff worked on it every day. The pool was beautiful and there was always something to do (if you wanted to). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were very happy. We would recommend this resort and we would come back again. We would actually like to bring the whole family and stay next door at Ocean Coral Springs.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Great time!

Service was pretty good 7.5/10, resort was well maintained. Rooms definitely needed upgrading. Pools were great and clean! Entertainment was pretty good. Beach was smaller but did the job and was never overcrowded. Room service was quick and food was always good! Price wise, for Jamaica, I believe this resort is a great option! If I can find an even better deal for this resort I would return. Also, Trip central is awesome. Easy to find the best deals, service is always great! Thanks!

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Perfect Vacation

Very modern resort with an amazing beach. Very well planned layout. All rooms close to everything. Food is very good with a huge selection ... very large buffet. 2 hour transfer from airport is worth it. Staff are as good as it gets. 10 & 13 year old grandsons had an amazing time too.

Great time at Riu Ocho Rios Will try to keep this short. Things that are great: *rooms are beautiful, clean, and very well appointed *grounds well maintained and cleaned daily *mini bar and fridge restocked every two days *plenty of towels, hot water, water pressure pressure *beautiful beach, well maintained, plenty of chairs *lovely pools, plenty of chairs there as well, lots of shade *no wait for beach towels, readily available and huts always open *drinks were great and service wo [... read more]nderful at all of the bars *food was great at the buffet, and the jerk hut where we had lunch three times - a la cartes were average, definitely not worth it Things that made the stay less comfortable *as usual other guests - bringing their own speaker to the pool bar so that their music competed with the music from the actual speaker making it unpleasant for others *people smoked in non smoking areas at night and security didn't care...and when everyone is smoking whacky tobacci it becomes unmanageable *the gym literally had one machine that worked - the others were unplugged or out of order and I know I'm a minority here but some of us do like to work out on vacation, especially when it rains - for a resort this size the gym is tiny, no AC, and then the machines don't work *the drive to the resort was close to three hours from the airport with a pitstop and a huge traffic jam on the one lane highway - bus is comfortable, just be prepared *no shampoo/conditioner in bathroom, so bring your own - there is only a body wash/shampoo in one

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: OUTSTANDING RESORT

The resort was amazingly beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful grounds, that are well maintained. The white sandy beach and clear warm waters were amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was superb!!

Sunset at the Palms: 35th Anniversary Trip in Paradise

We just returned from our stay at Sunset At The Palms and it really is a unique resort. Very small, laid back and quiet. Our treetop room was very comfortable and clean and quiet except for the tree frogs at night which actually put you to sleep. We had a lot of privacy on our balcony since all the treetop rooms were nestled around the resort. Not a ton of dinning options but it was enough for us. Service was top notch and the staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Always smiling and greeting you when they see you. The beach is across the street but their is a crossing guard to help you cross safely and it’s about a 5 min walk. At the beach there is a bar and grill so you can spend your days enjoying the beach and everything is there for you. The bathrooms are beautiful apparently they were newly done not long ago. Overall we enjoyed are stay and defiantly will go back. If there is anything negative it would be l was looking forward to bed art and it was there on arrival and then my husband on our anniversary caught the maid and asked if she could do it special for me and she was glad to. It it wasn’t every time are room was made up. So nothing serious. But just a warning this is a small resort, no big night life and very laid back and quiet so if thats what your looking for l would recommend this resort.

Moon Palace Jamaica: Amazing resort!

Amazing place to stay. Very clean and lots of amenities. Lots of activities to sign up for, everyone is very friendly. Stacey-Ann in Beach and Pool is amazing! The boys on the catamaran also work really hard.

Ocean Eden Bay: Amazing resort

Just got back from vacation the resort itself is beautiful but here are the negatives. Beach is terrible if you love the ocean this is not the place you need water shoes 100 %. Food could be much better. The only restaurant I find it really good was Marlin and Bluemoon. Amazing service by Daniel . The buffet is hit or miss some days it's ok . If you like partying this is not the resort gorgeous young people. The nightly entertainment was ok but after 10.30 there is not much happening.  [... read more]Overall I expected more. The people are very friendly. Beware of the time share BS. They claim its not a time share but they try to Hassel you yo buy into there membership program.

Ocean Coral Spring: Great Resort

The rooms, building and public space were clean. The grounds could be cleaner. The beach was really bad. It was just a small space to swim and it was full of rocks and weeds. The Restaurants has a good variety of food. Mike's Cafe was the best and staff were really friendly.

Ocean Eden Bay: Nice resort

We had a two week vacation at Ocean Eden Bay. Almost everything was perfect. We found the service a bit lacking as well as attentiveness. The beach bar staff were amazing pool bar not so much. Food was excellent entertainment was almost every evening. Although we retired early most evenings there was music everywhere. H10 hotels "bribe" you to pay the extra for "Privilege service" which is not what other resorts do. The extra fee that is asked does not warrant the "privilege". Buyer beware. Azul Beach Resort Negril: Good resort

Overall the resort was good but needs a bit of updating. We appreciated that we were upgraded but did not feel the price we paid was worth the accommodation.. the staff overall were amazing in most areas. We were in the premium section 11 and we there was lack of waiters on beach. 7 days we may have seen them 2 times. We did notice that more focus was spent on the adult only side which was 2 ft away from us. Food was lacking especially the fruit. Now for Sunwing.. we did not see or get a call all week from them, we also had to call ourselves for transfer back to hotel

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing

Resort was amazing, always very clean, drinks were not up to par, didn’t have the mixes and very watered down. Housekeeping was perfect. Buffet most time we had to wait for dishes to be refilled as they were running out pretty fast. But overall it was amazing

Excellent Hotel with beautiful large rooms with all the ementies your are looking for. Minior repairs required due to age of building. The food at the buffet and restaurant was good with a variety of food. Lack variety of breakfast cereal.

Riu Negril: Great trip!

Was a wonderful resort, kind people, and massage therapist Stacey-Ann and Julene were fantastic. Food was ok, same choices daily. Beach was ok, lots of grass but some sand area. Plenty of drinks provided.

Ocean Coral Spring: Amazing resort

The grounds are immaculate, rooms are so clean I didn’t need to clean before I lie down .the food was great lots of options…I would suggest upgrading to privilege you won’t regret, tons of activities and endless excursions..definitely going back.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Good resort

The luxury side is great minus the beach, you have to go to the grand side of you want an actual beach. The food is okay at this resort, nothing special. The gym is great. The entertainment was good. Ash the butler is awesome!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Comme ci comme ça

The price perfectly reflected the hotel quality, however the service and communication was mediocre at best. There were approximately four people that were AMAZING during my stay and the rest were not good! We initially got a room with one bed and were told we could have that rectified the next day but we were not told that we would have to check out in the morning (not have a room for the day) and then get the correct room by 4:00 PM...not impressed. Been to other resorts in Jamaica and I can s [... read more]ay the service here was unfortunately lacking.

Riu Negril: Amazing resort

Amazing food and great resort but the beach wasn’t as great because of the great amount of seaweeds that’s taken over the beach. It wasn’t as fun to be in the beach waters as we hoped to be . I think they need to get rid of the seaweeds from the beaches and then this resort would be fully 5+

Ocean Coral Spring: Nice family resort

Everything was great, food, pool, kids area, rooms, restaurants. My only complaint; and for me, is a big one...and the only reason why I wouldn't go back to this resort is...the beach is absolutely horrible. it was a family trip, my wife and two kids (4 and 9) we went to the beach the first day and couldn't even walk more than a few feet into the water, the beach was literally all rocks, nowhere to swim, so we were forced to spend every day at the crowded pool.
