Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Spectacular resort

Beautiful place and so relaxing. I won the trip there and was so excited to go. When we got there we were treated like royalty. Rooms were gorgeous, Food great. service was great too , especially room service.

One Word...."Paradise" A resort along with Secrets Playa next door that captivates you for your entire stay! The staff are the best I have ever seen anywhere and they go far beyond any customer service expectations. We will return some day with our sisters and their husbands! Would highly recommend to anybody who is looking for a dreamland experience.

Beautiful resort, new and modern. The food was very good at all the restaurants. Pools were nice and clean too. Very nice place! However, the room service took very long, over an hour for two cups of tea. Maid service could see some improvement better attention to detail I guess. I had to call for toilet paper at one time. Dirty dishes from room service were left in the cubby for over 24 hours. But that would be my only complaints.

Fantastic food, beautiful pools and lovely cabana huts. Very nice staff who were helpful and attentive. Spa was very nice. Beach was large with beautiful view of the sunrise each morning. It was great to have access to the adjoining Secrets resort for alternate restaurants, entertainment and pools.

Definitely a family resort. Resort was nice clean staff were very friendly. Although If you're not up at 5 AM you will not find a lounge chair anywhere near the pool. People reserve chairs and then never come back. At other resorts we've been to as soon as you leave your chair the staff clear it unlike this place you could never find a place to sit . Coffee machine in room was broken and upon several requests it had never been fixed or replaced. Had the resort not being attached to the secrets which was a mere few minute walk away this would have been a very disappointing trip. We spent 95% of our time on the other resort which in fact was fantastic therefore making our vacation quite nice. Again had it not been attached it would've been a disappointing trip. Note the resort is new and they still have a lot of work to do but it will come around. we have been to many 5 star resorts and this is definitely not a 5 star. A 4 star at Max.

Loved everything about this resort. What really makes this hotel great is the staff everyone was so friendly. Loved the bike tour with Hector and Isaid both part of the entertainment team!! Server Daniel was great from world cafe. Never had to get up and get a drink by the pool because victor kept taking care of everyone there. Salvador our concierge was really awesome making sure we were comfortable and taken care off. Service was top notch! Rooms were very big and maid service was excellent Eduardo also made sure we were topped up with drinks and that we were happy!! I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!!

Each facility, each restaurant, each person had their own cachet and personality. There is no doubt that this resort aims to please. Food was excellent as were the fancy drinks. Everything was as described to us. We had an accessibility issue that was resolved quickly and to our entire satisfaction.

Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Wonderful resort...5 star all the way...except in the daytime!

Everything was amazing except every time we showered, our bathroom flooded. We didn't say anything as we heard that it happens to everyone and we didn't want to move rooms! We would lay towels all over the bathroom before and after each shower. We never did use the overheard shower...bad design to say the least. :( I would ONLY recommend this Resort to families as they seem to cater to families only. In the Brochure, it says that the Infinite pool was for Adults only...we inquired and we wer [... read more]e told that "WE don't want to make the families mad"! The kids pool was always empty. Out of six pools, surely one of them could have been made an ADULT only pool. That left a bad taste in our mouth. We spent every day at Secrets next door....not what we wanted to do as we were not welcomed by some guests as they felt they paid MORE and that we should not be there! Other than that...we love the service, food and staff! :)

Fantastic staff and service. The resort was nice and big with lots to do and bieng able to share with the Secrets resort next door was an added bonus. The food was great and so much variety. Excursions were well organized and we were well taken care of while on them. Great spot for the whole family.

Dreams Playa Mujeres is a resort that makes your dream vacation come true. Whether you are with or without your children this is a resort where all the staff treat you like royalty and wait on you hand and foot. The resort itself even though it is new is very versatile to suit almost any thing you could dream of. With a large selection of food variety, plenty of activities for both young and old. For me and my family this was a dream vacation we never had and we have every intentions to go back.

We had the pleasure of staying in an oceanfront junior suite. It was beautifully designed and we had flowers and champagne awaiting our arrival. Our room was stocked everyday with all the essentials as well as luxury items such as whitening toothpaste, q-tips, mosquito repellent and sunscreen. Dulce had the best cappuccinos and desserts. The alcohol was truly premium at all bars including the beach as we love Grey Goose and found it everywhere. We went to the gym everyday and there was always water and fresh towels, plus, it smelled fresh and was well ventilated. The pools are perfect for families with children or adults. So many options and water parks, plus the lazy river. It was a true joy to be able to stay at Dreams for the week!

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Mid size resort with very friendly staff

The resort is well planned out with beautiful gardens that are well maintained. The buildings are 5 stories high and have working elevators for those who have difficulty with the stairs. The rooms are large with a sitting area and a king size bed and all rooms have a balcony looking out to the Pacific Ocean. The three pools are cleaned daily and kept at a reasonable temperature (no heart attacks on entry). The French restaurant was the only eatery requiring formal wear (long pants for men), and the food was most definitely worth dressing for. There was no booking or limitations on the number of times each restaurant was visited. The seafood restaurant was closed, but seafood was always on the menu at the other two buffet restaurants where a choice of good quality pork, chicken and beef were also available daily. Desert selection was limited, but fresh fruit was always available. Beverages were all International quality, and the selection of wine included in the cost of the package was excellent, including a choice of two white wines, two red, a blush and sparkling wine. All were good quality and enjoyable. The beach was not very usable and swimming in the sea generally not safe. Nightlife was limited at the resort, being mostly a piano player and singer. Some people were disappointed that an advertised 'jazz' night did not materialize. The resort is advertised as 2 hours from the airport, but with road works took us over 3 hours, (hence the lower rating for location.) However, the driver will make a stop for refreshments if requested to do so. The best part though, was the staff. So friendly and helpful. Most staff did not have a great level of English knowledge which meant that I had to try harder at my Spanish, and that I found motivating and fun. Hand signals caused much laughter with the staff. My husband and I enjoyed a most relaxing and rejuvenating 7 night vacation and would certainly recommend this hotel to those looking for a relaxing time.

The hotel room/property/restaurants/pools were very well maintained and clearly a 5 star. Food was delicious, my friend and I are vegetarian and there was a huge variety of options. Beach was not the greatest however that was expected. The monkeys on the resort every day was the best part!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Dreamy Resort

The grounds, pathways of the Dreams resort were breathtaking. Beautiful, lush, well groomed gardens. Very well manicured and the grounds, pathways, pool and beach area were very clean. We felt very safe at the resort. There were staff stationed at the beach and along the roadway/ path to the beach and main building. The food was good. You would never go hungry. Like any resort you do have to save a lounge chair at the beach or pool. The explorers club for children was fabulous. Lots of activitie [... read more]s for children, teens, and adults. We would recommend this resort. We loved our week at Dreams and would definitely try another Dreams resort. We did have to make a request to change our room as our room had an adjoining door. It would have been okay if the adjoining room was being occupied by family...but you could hear everything going on in the room....all hours if the night. Staff were fantastic and were able to move us to another room within 1/2 hour. Excellent service. Thank you Dreams

Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Dreams Las Mareas. However, the food was a hit and miss. One evening our beef was so chewy and red that we could not even complete eating our meal. We also found some of the appetizer portions extremely small. We also had ordered room service one morning at 5:00 a.m. only to have the eggs arrive as if they had been sitting out all evening. It was horrible!

The resort was beautiful and the service was very good. There was a great variety of excellent food and unlimited visits to the a la carte restaurants with no reservations required. The pools were gorgeous, but sometimes a bit noisy and crowded. We saw monkeys right from the infinity pool that overlooks the beach. The beach was ok, but the ocean was very cold during our first week and snorkeling was not an option. The check-in was the best and fastest we've ever had. We had a swim-up room, which [... read more] was wonderful. We usually had the pool entirely to ourselves. The only other drawback was the location - it was far to travel for some excursions, but close to Nicaragua, where we went for a really great day trip. Overall, we had a fantastic time.

Gorgeous resort! Fresh, clean and new!! Staff is tremendous and helpful! Beach is not great, a little dirty and underdeveloped. Disappointed that we could not eat at Fusion, not a lot of hibachi tables. Fabulous for all ages! My 9 and 10 year olds loved it!! Would recommend it!

Dreams La Romana: What's not to like?

came back a second time and like the first, all around pure happiness. Weather is always good, grounds are immaculate, rooms awesome and food fantastic. Staff are the best even though it was pretty busy this time still could always get loungers either on beach or by pools. A la cart restaurants never have to make reservations and again even as busy as it was could always get a table. Love this place.

Dreams Huatulco: Beautiful resort

Arriving at the resort was a little stressful. Sunwing bus driver unloaded our luggage at the Barcelona resort. My finance had to walk back to get our bags. Keep a close eye on your luggage. The registration/check in at the Dreams was more work than it had to be. There is only 3 small desk as the front desk with just 3 clerks. But registration was actually around the corner at a long table with 2 clerks. This location was hidden from plain view so made procedure confusing. Then i had  [... read more]to go back to the "3 desks"/front desk and stand in line to get word that room wasn't ready and was told to come back later for our keys. All this seemed so unprofessional for a resort chain with such high standards. Once we got into our room it was lovely, and clean. We were situated in a wing that had not yet been renovation on the outside. ...cracked stucco. Didn't look of Dreams standards, but the rest was wonderful. Rooms, beach, and restaurants are all very clean, with friendly service. A la cartes were very good. Service, food presentation and food quality was of very high standards. The main buffet, World Cafe, was smaller than I expected and very loud and busy so we had every breakfast amd lunch at the Seaside cafe over looking the ocean. It was less busy and had no line up for the omlette station. Need a really good late night burger? Visit Seaside Cafe before 1030 pm. If it's closed order through room service. Fries are crispy! There isn't enough palapas on the beach so everyone goes down at 630-730 am to put their towels on the loungers. We read that the pool attendant take them off aftr 30 mins but they don't. People still leave towels but don't show up for hours. If you have trouble finding chairs ask an attendant and they are more than happy to pull towels or move chairs for you. All good! The resort is generally very quiet. We didn't see or hear the entertainment team hardly at all. Good and bad. We did like the lobby lounge entertainment every night. We also left the resort to visit the local bar across the street to watch an Oilers game. Overall we loved the location, hotel and beach! And will return. Hopefully the few deficiencies will be rectified.

Great service. Beautiful property. The food was adequate at times but there were a few terrible meals. Friendly and accommodating staff. The tours being sold off the beach were about half the price of those offered in the resort. The bay is beautiful
