Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: New resort with a magnificent beach!

The resort is modern, well design and very clean. The rooms are large and spacious and very comfortable, furniture is very new, clean and works well. High speed internet is available everywhere. The food is acceptable compared to other hotels. There were almost all kinds of meat and vegetables in the buffet. All kinds of drinks, red wine, beer and soft drinks were available. The entertainment at night was not bad, but there were no daytime activities, so the day was boring! The resort area was kept very clean. The elevators worked well and quickly. There were only two or three problems, one was the noise of music and some guests who talk or laugh loud at mid night, and the other was the problem of losing towels around the pool or beach. If the towel is lost, a fine must be paid, and it is not known why the towels are lost( stolen) ?!

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Wow! Beautiful Resort!

This was my first trip leaving Canada. Everything here at Club Amigo was Beautiful! The grounds, flowers beautifully maintained. Everyone vacationing and the hotel workers were friendly and pleasant. The grounds keepers took pride in their work and always smiling. Food is tasty and fresh. Loved the happy atmosphere! Truly Heaven on Earth here.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Work in progress

Resort is trying to get up and running at a reduced capacity after being closed for a couple years and mostly refurbished. The staff were all fantastic. Food was good but no pasta, beef or fish. The second day the rooms above the main building had no water, couldn't shower or flush toilets yuk! We were moved to beautiful new room. Friends stayed but had no hot water all week. Paradisus Rio De Oro: Beautiful Resort

Beautiful resort...very clean and excellent staff. Food was very good in all the restaurants. The spa was amazing with its own private beach. Daily entertainment at the pool and never had a problem getting a chaise lounge at the pool or beach. Yoga was good and felt very safe going for a run outside the resort. The resort is designed with no high rise buildings with elevators..instead with small units with minimal or no walk up.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Club Amigo is a beautiful resort

Our Villa was very nice, the beach and ocean are beautiful. Entertainment was very enjoyable. Staff were great. I had an accident and the Dr and nurse were great. I would return to Club Amigo but would like more fruit and veggies to choose from..

Grand Memories Holguin: Seven brand new beautiful pools in a relaxing resort

This is a brand new resort, located 2 hours from the Holguin airport not close to any other resorts in the area. The check-in process was very slow and inefficient. The staff are friendly and try hard to accommodate and entertain. It is very clean property with modern rooms. The food was good for Cuba. The internet was very slow and hard to connect. Iberostar Coral Holguin: Amazing Resort

I have just returned from my second visit to Coral Leverl Iberostar Holgiun I will go back again. The resort is beautiful, well.looked after, very clean and the staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is an amazing one. The advantage of Coral Level is the quiet, private pool, bar and restaurant. The food was good, there was a lack.of fresh fruit and vegetables but that is the norm right now everywhere in Cuba. Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Great Resort!

We went to this resort for 1 week in February 2023 and we honestly have no complaints! We ate, we drank, we had so much fun and the weather was the best part of it all! Of course COVID-19 had an impact on the resort, it had an impact on everything everywhere! Nothing to complain about at all, we had a wonderful time.

Playa Pesquero: Very nice resort

Due to Coved it has been three years since our last visit. We found the resort still to be one of our best places to stay. The staff are so friendly and nice to everybody which has never changed. Will be returning again soon.

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Beautiful resort!

This was our second time at the Iberostar Selection in Holguin. The beach is stunning, and the pools are large and spacious. You can find a quiet corner, or a more lively vibe near the bar, whatever suits you best. The playground and water park are amazing for kids! My 2 year old had a blast. There is not as much variety, but I have heard that this is something being experienced across Cuba right now, not specific to this resort. Playa Costa Verde: Staff was friendly

Staff was friendly but thats about the only good thing I can say about my trip. Food was awful, I literally lost 7 lbs while there. It was all inclusive and they only had rum or beer. No other drink options. Honestly just not a nice vacation at all. The highlight of the trip was when I got to fly home.

Hotel is too large to get the rest. It is so many people and is very noisy. Also is too inconvienience to go anywhere. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Resort is ok

It was affordable resort for my husband and my 2yr old and I but the hotel was old. And things were not working. The water and electricity turned off a few times and the internet was not good. The food was not good. They had no fruit when we first got there and no fish at all. The restaurants were not any better

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Was ok

Staff, for the most part, were nice. There were a few grumpy ones. They didn't have any vodka, tequila or champagne. At the snack bars, they basically offered pizza (cheese or ham and cheese) on a pita, or ham and cheese sandwiches with fried plantains. The buffet was ok. The exact same thing everyday. There was no hot tub!!! What kind of resort doesn't have a hot tub?? You get what you pay for I guess. It was pretty cheap. The beach was phenomenal. Extremely well kept grounds, rooms were kept clean but are showing signs of aging. Food ... not fabulous, pretty bland but there was always something to eat. Lots of chairs at the beach, but not at the pool 🤔

Iberostar Selection Holguin: FIRST CLASS RESORT!

Wonderful stay, very large rooms, excellent shuttle service to beach, restaurants, lobbby and to our room. Discovered excellent snorkeling which was NOT advertised. We discovered CORA Adults Only Resort and will experience that next time.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Excellent resort!

We had a great vacation at Paradisus Rio de Oro. This is our first 5-star, adults-only experience in Cuba and found that this resort is very well managed and taken care of. The gardens, the beach, the pool, our room were beautiful and well kept. The food was great as well (we love Cuban cuisine!), so congrats to the amazing chefs! The staff was very nice and friendly, and also helpful with us trying to improve our Spanish. What more can I say? We just loved this place, and this is our 15th time [... read more] in Cuba. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: A touch of summer

We just got home after 2 restful weeks at Aston resort in Holguin the rooms are old and in need of updating but we’re generally clean Staff went out of their was to make sure your needs are all taken care of all our needs. Any issues we had for repairs in the room they immediately were there to help food choices were limited but they always created meals with what they had to serve

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Great resort

beautiful resort. Very clean rooms . Nice activities, nice beach but not bery long if you like to walk. Food not great. The cubans people make you feel welcomed. Karaoke jight was rhe best activity. The theater shows were not good

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Great staff

Hotel was older and in need of updates. Staff was its best asset. They are starting to upgrade parts of resort. Limited variety of foods and drinks but understand how hard it is to get items there. Did the best with what they had. When we had concerns they were addressed in a timely matter which doesn’t happen a lot in the other resorts we have visited. When they advertise that there will be beer in your fridge daily they should follow up on it. I accepted this explanation but then they had a Super Bowl party and had a deep bin full of beer? Over all it was a great experience mainly because of 5he staff.
