Grand Palladium Kantenah: Love it here

So once again we have returned home from a wonderful vacation at the Grand Palladium Kantenah resort. The jungle walkways and wildlife is beautiful. Food in the buffets was good. Al la cartes were great. Everything about this resort is on point or we wouldn't have returned for the 11th time. Stayed in the Kantenah Mayan suites right by the beach. Looking forward to returning.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Spectacular Resort

We were at the resort for a family wedding. Week of November 9to 16th 2016. The location for the wedding ceremony and reception was beautiful !! Wow !! Resort was spectacular. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: The BEST of the BEST !!!

ALL WAS GREAT ! Staff so helpful and always smiling, the whole place so clean....every day they were cleaning every corners inside and outside of all the buildings, awesome food and so much choices daily, beautiful turquoise ocean, beach so nice and many different places to go for a swim when experiencing different area of the hotel, easy access to food and snack and bars everywhere from the beach or anywhere on the property, beautiful shopping, even if no control on the weather it was all perf [... read more]ect, watched the people playing with the dolphins, easy to book excursions, the animation on days and nights were fun and full of energy ! Was there with my Best friend celebrating our 55 th Birthday and it was lots of fun for us, even without our husbands. They have anything & everything for couples, singles, and families ! Easy access to the main street to go outside the property, but remained so quiet from the traffic. Extremely secure site.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Amazing resort that is accessible for people with physical disabilities

I have been to this hotel 7 times now because it is not only a great resort with beautiful grounds, great food, amazing staff, but also that is very accessible for those with physical disabilities. The whole resort is very flat, with ramps where needed, there are golf carts that will drive you where you want to go, easy access into the pool and even a boardwalk that extends under sun umbrellas on the beach for easy wheelchair/walker access. Although the complex is huge, it is very easy to get around, with many activities, lots of chairs with shade at the pool and beach and close to the airport.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Over the top resort!

The resort is huge!! Well manicured, impeccably clean rooms, restrooms, restaurants and pools and area. This is a resort where you don't have to worry about towels and tickets for towels. You can use as many towels at a time as needed!!! The beach is full of weeds, although they tried they're best to keep it clean. Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Highly recommend for families

Amazing resort. Food was fantastic at the buffet. High chairs readily available in all the restaurants. Swim out family suite was beautiful and perfect for us with an infant napping multiple times a day. Kids splash pool was the best set up I have seen for kids.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Amazing food, saddened by the beach

The decor is very cool. Grounds are immaculate. The food was simply amazing. The service staff are very sweet, graceful and thoughtful. The bartender in the main bar is a genius, as.is the grill chef at the buffet. The pools and pool-fun staff rock. The beach however, doesn't come into the same ballpark. If the beach is important to you, this part will be extremely disappointing. I have never had that experience at a beach, in this area or any other.. I could not spend any time there for being nauseated by the harsh smell... on several days.. at several different times.. just to be sure I wasn't imagining. .. I wasn't. I really love the beach and the ocean and was really saddened and conserned about what is happening with this part.. what is being done to the waters here ?

I found that the grounds were very well maintained Rooms were very clean and modern Air conditioning worked fantastic Food was fantastic Pool service requires improvement for supplying refreshments. No swim up pool bar. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an

This is a beautiful hotel. The grounds are well kept, staff courteous and professional, food of a high quality. Our stay was nearly perfect. The only negative comments would be that the hot water was often not quite hot enough. While one could still use it to shower, it wasn't as hot as one might prefer. Also, the buffet has loads of seafood. While this is to be expected of a "luxury" resort, the seafood is not segregated to one section of the buffet. This made it impossible for one of our trave [... read more]l companions to safely eat at the buffet for any meal other than breakfast given her shellfish allergy. I would would absolutely not reccommend this hotel to anyone with a serious food allergy. The entertainment staff was ok. Activities are plentiful but are pretty ho-hum. There's also no hot tubs? We were quite disappointed by this fact. All in all it was a great holiday save some very minor inconveniences.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Fantastic resort!

From the moment we checked in we knew that we would be back. The resort is beautiful, the service is outstanding and the pool and beach are spectacular. Lots of activities pool side if you want to participate, or a quiet pool if you don't. The restaurants did not disappoint - a wonderful selection.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: True 5 Star!

Been to Mexico three times now, and this resort was by far the best. The buffet and a la carts cannot be beat. Service was great and the rooms were new and clean. Used the 24 hr room service every morning for fresh coffee and pastries!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Slightly less than what I would call 5 star

The wait staff were excellent and very friendly. However we requested a ground floor room for mobility reasons and ended up on the third floor. We complained and got moved to the second floor. The water in the pools was freezing and just about the same in the rooms We had no hot water for three days

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Good Resort

This was the first time at this resort for my wife and myself. We were there for a wedding. The hotel was nice, but too big for our tastes. Did not have room we requested and that was a nightmare to deal with. But overall it was a nice vacation. No bad things to say about resort or staff.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Destination Wedding

The staff of the Grand Palladium went above and beyond our expectations, everyday of the trip. Friendly, approachable, and courteous, they were attentive to our every need. Although large in the scale, the resort does an amazing job keeping all the lobbies, restaurants, pools, beaches and walkways in pristine shape. Our wedding coordinator (Nidia) did an unbelievable job not only our the wedding day, but the in weeks and months leading up to it as well. We have travelled to many countries, and stayed in a variety of private to large scale resorts. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Beautiful Resort!

This resort is very different from any we have stayed at. We mostly stay at 5 star beach front resorts that the rooms are right on the ocean and there are minimal trees. This resort was so lush with beautiful trees it was amazing! It was the best of both world's, a 5 star beach front resort and a beautiful jungle all in one. There were so many walking trails to explore that take you through the trees, around cenotes and through some mayan ruins. The shows at night were amazing! They were great for kids and adults. I would say the best entertainment we have seen at a resort so far. We did not need reservations at the a la cartes which was great for the kids, we never know when they are going to be hungry so we hate having to make reservations 3 days in advance like most resorts require. Some days we had to wait about 30 minutes to get in but it never bothered us. Most of the time we could get a table for 9 people within 5 minutes. Most of the food was delicious. The buffet did often run out of some foods though and it would take a while before they replaced it. The only reservations that is required is for the Japanese restaurant and it is so worth it!!!! The beach was beautiful and you could always get a beach chair any time of the day. The pools were great for the kids but the main pool area did get quit busy during the day. All in all it was an amazing vacation and we will go back again. We were a group of 7 adults and 2 kids aged 5 and 3. Please remember that you are going to a country where a lot of the workers live off of their tips and if they do not get tips that day they might not be able to feed their family. We saw far too many people not tipping it was sad! These people are serving you hand over foot 24 hours a day.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Thoroughly Impressed

I had not visited a resort in approximately eight years due to a prior poor experience. The Grand Palladium is exceptional. Great service, food, and amenities. I will highly recommend to friends and family and consider revisiting.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Grand Bahia Principe - Wonderful resort!

The Grand Bahia Principe resort was beautiful! The resort has white sand beaches with plenty of lounges for everyone, warm clean pools, fantastic food and beverages. The staff were amazing, the rooms spotless and the entertainment was excellent. Our favourite A la Carte was Seafood.

Bel Air Collection Xpu-Ha Riviera Maya: Horrible Vacation

Our vacation to the Bel Air Xpu-Ha Collection Riviera Maya was horrible. When we arrived and got to our room there was a big salamander hiding in our curtains, there was a two inch gap underneath our door, nothing was sealed off and there were holes rotted out in our door. We had a plate of old fruit in our room that was not sealed properly and who knows how long was sitting there. After being there for two days we woke up in the morning and we had a thousand big ants coming in from under our do [... read more]or, climbing up to the counter and eating the fruit. When we came back to our room at the end of the day all that was done to the room was the bed had been made, they left all the ants there for us to deal with, they didn't even make an attempt to get rid of them. My girlfriend and i had to spend over a half hour after our long day getting rid of them ourselves. The third day after walking around in the morning we arrived back at our room to find a big lizard on the wall, it sat there til Thursday when we got back in the evening and noticed it was finally gone, even when the housekeepers saw it they shrieked and gave me the impression(since they didn't speak English) that not to worry about it, they will take care of it. For half of our seven day trip there the towels in our room were not even changed. The resort was old and looked to be that it was never really maintained very well. When we booked our trip it described three restaurants which were really only two, the one restaurant was half open for breakfast and lunch, then they would close that half and open the other half for supper, it was all the same bad food. We had the option of menu or buffet but the buffet was always skimpy on food, 1/3 of the trays would always be empty. The food on the menu wasn't very good either, my girlfriend got sick a couple times after eating the food in the restaurant. There was a sushi place as well but looking at the way the rest of the resort looked we weren't gonna trust eating the seafood. The kayaking spot that we saw on the website was always closed off so there was no kayaking at the resort like they advertised. They also advertised that there were all sorts of animals at the resort that we could look at but when we walked around most of the animal spots were empty and run down. There were a few crocodiles, 3 jungle cats that looked depressed and 2 monkeys that looked so miserable we couldn't even handle looking at them. The beach at the resort was barely even a beach at all, enough room for a few lounger chairs and you couldn't even go in the water. Anytime were sitting on the so called beach or by the pool there was not one waiter around to get a drink. There was a beach nearby that they would transport us to, the van was supposed to come by every half hour, we waited for over an hour once before the van came by again. Whenever we would hang out on the resort and just look to relax we would just be depressed and in a bad mood. Half of the staff i couldn't understand nor could they understand me. I do not know how its a 4 star resort, just being there didn't make it the nice relaxing trip to mexico it should've been. Our sunwing representative only showed up the one day. Our shuttle back to the airport was a joke, the driver couldn't speak English and no one must've told him were to drop us off so we got dropped off at the wrong terminal and we had to find our way to the proper terminal. we will never return to any of the Bel Air Collection resorts. It is a resort that we will not recommend to anyone and tell anyone going down there to stay clear of it.

Ocean Maya Royale: Great Getaway

The hotel had a great layout. The pool was clean and the grounds were always being attended too. The staff always had a smile and willing to go the extra mile. A great effort was made for nightly entertainment. Overall the noise level was loud until midnight. Sound carried throughout the villas. There was always something to choose from on the daily buffets. The Japanese restaraunt was delish! As stated from other reviews, bring your own pillow was a good tip. Erosion has taken away almost al [... read more]l of the beach. If that is your 'thing' this is not the resort for you. It was great being an adults only, didn't miss the young ones at all.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantasic first time

Thank you Grand Bahia Principe Coba! You made our first time staying at an all inclusive fantastic! We have been cruising the Caribbean for the last few years. We had never stayed at an all inclusive what a place to stay the first time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and bright and cheerful.
