Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: i would go back in a heart beat Amazing resorting

The resort and staff were amazing. Food was was fantastic. Overall i had the best time in my life. Very clean. Did not have to leave the resort for anything everything was there. I loved it. I have recommended to my freinds. I am in wheel chair and it catered to me also. I could get around every where. Also I LOVED swim out room

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Resort

I traveled to Punta Cana with my daughter on May 27, 2016, we stayed for a week at the Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar and we had a great stay there. The resort was beautiful, loved the room, the food to die for, the drinks also to die for, the service was amazing, the employees very loving and helpful, loved the cleanliness of the place which it's one of the things I make sure to check everywhere I go. The beach was very nice, I loved that they had facilities for disabled people, like their own l [... read more]ounge chairs spot with umbrella, it was great for me. the beach was very wavy which made it hard for me but it was because of the weather, at night time we had thunderstorms. The pool was amazing with good music, entertainment and swim up bar. Also, there was waiters an waitresses taking orders at the beach and the pool. We loved all the restaurants we tried at our resort and in other Bahia Principe resorts. The resort has trains to take you to shows, disco and casino. I would like to thank Trip Central for the great service they provided to us, including our agent Ash Faramarzi who was on top of everything.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Great trip with amazing service

Just came back from Caribe club princess and had a fantastic time! Besides the long walk from the lobby to the hotel it was fantastic overall! Could use more shuttle service to get around but if you don't mind the walk which is nice and gets you some exercise ! It's a beautiful resort with 3 pools, a gorgeous beach and some fantastic restaraunts. Wake up early and book Your al la carts the Buffett is okay in a pinch but the al a carts are amazing especially Brazilian and Dominican restaurants ! [... read more] They offer a lot of fun activities to do and a free shopping excursion so you can get your souvenirs ! Pretty entertaining shows nightly, just wish the disco switched it up more! It had like 3 Latin nights where is Canadians and Americans didn't know the music!

Not very good it was better the first time I stay there toilet back up air conditioning water running down wall leaking out of ceiling floor away wet room service did clean room very good never refill fridge should I gone on

Excellence Punta Cana: The best in Cayo St Maria

Beautiful grounds kept impeccable by the hardworking gardeners, excellent food and drinks, the beaches are pristine and the service is top notch. This was our 4th time and we plan to return in a few months to see all our dear friends - Danny, Pavel, Niumy, Adonis, Damarys, Osneil, Alberto - if you chose to come here, THERE are the people you wanna meet!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: So and So

Nice huge resort with 5 hotels but only one theater in door and 1 out door ,buffer restaurant very much selection and not great for 5* hotel ......Need more entertainment and better food...plus improve map with clear detail like Bahia hotels in Mexico

Punta Cana Princess: Perfect Getaway.

Trip was from May25th 2016-June1st 2016 booked through Sunwing and flew out of Toronto. We were greeted with a cocktail and cold towel while checking in. Bags were brought right up to our room. The resort is very clean and well kept. The room we stayed in was in building 4 second floor with a balcony view of the pool and ocean. The room was very clean and included a jacuzzi tub, a safe, a small fridge with water, beer and pop. Didn't need a travel adapter as it had the right outlets. Iron  [... read more]and ironing board. Fresh towels daily including beach towels. Bath robes were supplied as well. I would recommend building 4 or 5 second floor as they are closest to the beach. The resort is small which is what we wanted as you don't have far to walk to the beach, pool or restaurants. There was entertainment by the pool in the afternoon and nightly entertainment in the lobby. Reading other reviews we did bring our own 24oz thermos for drinks which was great for taking down to the beach instead of using the small cups the resort uses, so less trips to the bar. Staff was always happy to serve you. One day at the beach our normal spot didn't have lounge chairs and most were taken up as we went down to the beach later then normal that day. One of the staff seen we were looking around asked us if we needed lounge chairs. We said yes. Off he went and he dragged two chairs right to us! Food was amazing. The main buffet changed themes every night. There was a Mexican, Asian, Marine, Dominican, Mediterranean night. We loved the restaurants: Swiss fondue, steak and Italian. No reservations required. We recommend this resort and will be going back.

Excellence Punta Cana: Excellent stay at the excellence

The staff are friendly (& work hard so you have a good time), the food is good (lots of variety) & the drinks are strong. Lots to do, there's something for every1! great spa, nice beach, swim up bar (you can make lots of friends there), there's little bars all over the place that are quieter too. If you go to the hut down the beach you can haggle with Ricky and alex who are some of the people running the hut. Theres fun shows to watch in the night and it's usually followed by a band or perf [... read more]ormer. The disco is popular depending on the crowd. The djs will take whatever request you want The Tuscana restaraunt has a buffet and is 1 of the best buffets I've ever had and i have had sone dam good buffet. If you're eating anything, you should eat the seafood because it is top notch. Some of the food styles they don't do so well because it's a completely different culture to them but it's totally forgiven. Chez Isabelle probably had the best food overall. The pizzas at oregano are great and have a lot of cheese! The staff seem to have a good time as well, everyone is friendly and if you ask how they are, they'll say "excellente!" And I know by the end of it I said it too! tip the staff whay you think they deserve, don't bother converting money and if you want to go on an excursion or tour, you can definitely haggle a great price. Talk to the concierge about extra things too. Tip the staff and they'll remember you and sometimes give you a little something extra.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: Clean resort

The grouds are well kept and clean. The beach is very good, lots of palapas and chairs. The rooms are very average but clean. The food is very good. For the entertainment, Michael Jackson is a must. The personnel at the check-in and check-out desk needs to be more sympathetic. Self serve for coffee, beer Pina Calada, Bananamama. Drinks served by waiters are not the best, stick to El Presidente beer.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Excellent amenities

Great, except the pools and certain bars close too early. would really like 24hr access to those. The service was fantastic. Our room was large, with a very comfy bed. Our stay was marred by a bit of bad weather, but it passes quickly in the DR.

TRS Turquesa: Amazing first vacation!

It was beautiful, the staff were amazing (casino being our favourite!), the meals from buffet or reserved were delicious. It was an amazing first experience. We will definitely be back sometime in the near future.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: We enjoyed the beach and pool

It was a nice resort .. Loved the pool and beach . A lot of rude and pushy people made it difficult to enjoy the buffet . The food wasn't very good but the people we travelled with loved it , maybe we were too picky? Our room was musty and had some mold but due to the humidity there it would be expected . The workers treated us with kindness as we them . A word on the vendors they have there , the resort really should get rid of them, very few took no for an answer would not leave us alone even  [... read more]if we walked to the other side of the sidewalk . The shows in the evening were enjoyable ....Would rate it a 6 out of 10

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Awesome Place, Awesome People

An absolutely awesome resort! The food options, accommodations and staff were the best I've ever experienced! Even all the clouds and rain couldn't overcome my stay at Iberostar! I arrived last minute to surprise my best friend and family of almost 30, and celebrate dad's 90th! Mistakenly, I booked the Punta Cana and the group was at the Dominican. Many conversations with the bell boys, then suddenly realized my pick up location was never changed to the Dominican from the Punta Cana....where I checked in! Bell Hop guy quickly made a deal with another driver to get me to the airport as soon as possible. Just on time! The gardeners, cleaning staff of all kinds work hard and do amazing jobs throughout the resort. I definietely want to return with my family

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Good Value

I read all the reports and went with the average report before i booked.It was defiantly a 4 star hotel, I am an avid traveler and have been to Dominican Republic 5 times alone. The beach is a 4. - food 3.5. - room 3.5. - grounds and lobby etc 4. I only paid $750 Canadian, approx $ 600 US, so really how can you ever complain. If you want Value this is a solid resort. If you want all the bells and whistles go else where.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Great Time!!

There were 5 of us there to celebrate a 35th Wedding Anniversary. We had a great time. The rooms, food & service was good. We didn't have any issues. They didn't do anything special for the Anniversary even though they knew that's why we were there. The only suggestion I would make is to ask the vendors on the walkway NOT to persist to get you to see their stuff. Asking to view it is one thing but to say you promised, you would stop and actually bother you is another. I found a lot of the guests did not speak english which was disappointing as we like to chat with people. There were a lot of Russians and a few people from Germany, Spain and Argentina and of course some Canadians who spoke english. The shows were very good. We tried the water park which was fun for all 5 of us adults!! We enjoyed the casino and donated our $20 each per night. Nothing outstanding but nothing went wrong!! So all and all - we had a GREAT time!!

Occidental Punta Cana: Resort Awesome, Transat Service Horrible

The resort and staff were wonderful. The staff were very friendly as always! Franklin at the beach bar is amazing! The grounds are kept very clean. The food was great! The staff really make an effort to ensure families are treated well! The beach was beautiful and it looks like they are renovating the buildings close to the beach which should be lovely!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Spectacular Resort

This resort is absolutely amazing! Without a second thought, I rate it to be a 5 Star Plus..The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are large, very clean and with housekeeping twice daily. The restaurants have plenty of variety and theme night daily. You will never go hungry from lack of food.Our beach was simply gorgeous, little to no seaweed and plenty of shaded areas for everyone. Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful and Tropical Resort

This resort is truly very tropical looking. We found everything about the resort wonderful, from the staff to the food, grounds, beach and pool. It is a very large resort, but they had small train trollies to move around resort and lots of staff with golf carts that would stop and take you where you wanted to go.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Definitely one to recommend.

The Bahia Príncipe Bavaro complex was a large resort with awesome grounds and services. The bartenders, front desk staff, restaurant workers and grounds keepers were some of the friendliest staff I've encountered in the six Caribbean trips I've taken. The entire facility was kept immaculately clean. There was plenty of restaurants and variety in food choices. The al a carte restaurants were beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Over the top

I have never written a review but this resort is amazing, in every way. The rooms were so clean, I'm very picky but everything was super clean. Room service 24/7, order anything any time of the day and it will be warm and fresh. They don't expect tips and are super generous and kind to the guests. Dining was excellent, make reservations the day you land. Gomez the butler was spectacular, took us to the little village to get some souvenirs.
