Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Excellent!!!

Hotel was clean, staff friendly and all our needs were taken care of immediately upon request! The beach was near the top of my list for beaches that I have been to. White sand, turquoise water and very very clean!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great resort

This resort was a great place to stay the staff where friendly and curtious to us and the activities staff made it fun to be by the pool every day the grounds where clean the resturants and wait staff made it a very pleasant dining expierance the only thing I found not to my liking was the temprture of the food on the buffet

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: This was a Breathtaking resort!

The pools were nice and clean, the service and people were great, the beach was amazing, the overall resort was beautiful. The food was ok, but could have been better. I would recommend this resort to anyone!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Relaxing vacation

Great place, awesome staff, clean pools, very nice food and drinks. Rooms can use some update, especially the bathrooms but not a deal breaker. Italian and Japanese restaurants were great. Resort is pushing hard on getting vacationers to sign up for Privledge Club membership and offers free massages, helicopter rides etc., so may be value to some as they are only asking for 1 hour of your time. For me, I want to be left alone and prefer reading material and if I like to attend I will approach th [... read more]e desk. Overall please know, great resort and won't mind going back if the price is right. We did not spend anytime at the beach so no comments. Sea weed was an issue dye to under current as per some people we met in the pool.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Wonderful resort super kid friendly

We had an excellent time at Esmerelda. Great food great drinks and nice rooms. The Japanese restaurant and the garden grill were amazing. The Italian was a little lack lustre. Overall we had an amazing time.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful amazing resort

First of all the grounds are incredible, well kept and mature. Rooms are nice if a little dark, could use a lighting upgrade. Food in a la cartes real good, buffet good. Beach and pool, at least at the Ambar, are as good as you get. My only complaint was with the pool bar service, I'll politely call it slow.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Worst service we've ever experienced.

This is the worst vacation resort we've ever visited. The experience started with us being ushered into a small room for a speech about the resort. This was followed by arriving to a dirty room which was not ready. When they said it was ready, the room was still dirty. Every night we were eaten by bugs and woke up with marks all over us and our faces which was extremely embarrassing. The service was the worst I've ever seen. We'd arrive at breakfast without any offer of coffee or water most mor [... read more]nings. The buffets were terrible. Most days we struggled to find something to eat. i could continue to complain but I'd rather just warn you never to visit.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: A WEEK IN PARADISE

WE STAYED THE WEEK OF MAY 13TH, 2016. WE HAD VISITED SEVERAL BAHIA RESORTS IN THE SOUTH, BUT THIS WAS THE VERY BEST. FOOD AND DRINKS WERE GREAT. ROOM LOCATION IN BUILDING 90 WAS WHAT WE ASKED FOR. .WE HAD DINNER IN 5 SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS ALL WERE EXCELLENT. TRANSPORTATION AROUND THE RESORT, IS VERY EFFICIENT AND CONVENIENT.WE INTEND TO COME BACK TO THIS RESORT ANOTHER TIME.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Nice Resort

Good food, especially at the the A la carte restaurants. House wines are terrible. If you don't tip the maid for the day, you won't get your room clean. Overall rating, fair to Average. The owner needs to do some updating on bathtubs. I love the fresh coconuts. I will probably go back if they do some renovations on their tubs.

Riu Palace Bavaro: Fantastic Resort!

Had a great vacation at the RIU Palace Bavaro! The food was amazing, the resort was very clean and the rooms were modern and big. We travelled with 3 teenage children and they also had a great time. We will return to this hotel.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: It was Big and Beautiful

It was my first time in a resort that large my travel agent Agela reassured me it was great an well laid out. I loved loved loved it. The grounds the pools the resturants and the beach were top notch. We will be back.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: DR - PC

Grounds were bigger than we had expected. Our hotel (luxury bahia principe esmeralda) was small which was very nice. The food was food but certainly not great. The beach-like pool was fantastic for children and if you're willing to make the trek up to the kids water park it's definitely worth it for an afternoon or morning. The entire staff were incredibly friendly and extremely nice to the kids, we were impressed with their attention to kids.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great beach, okay food/service

We travelled to the Palladium Punta Cana the week of May17. Overall it was a good experience- the buffets were typical mass produced buffet breakfasts but we really enjoyed the fresh shakes and the crepe/waffle/pancake station. We never used the omelette station because we don't eat meat and there wasn't really a veggie pan and meat pan but those who did seemed to really enjoy it. We tried the Japanese and Brazilian and all the buffets- all were okay- you can always find something you like. We LOVED the Tapas and Mexican on the Bavaro side. We also showed up around 7 and could get seated right away on the three nights we went. We noticed long line when we were leaving though. There are so many bars throughout we didn't get a chance to visit them all but they all looked really great. We recommend taking the train around the resort on the first day- it will show you all the resort has to offer. Our biggest complaint was that no one introduces you to anything about the resort. You are given a map, taken to your room and you just have to figure the rest out for yourself. For example there is a huge sports area where you can rent bikes, play tennis or soccer/football, or even archery! Also, we really didn't enjoy the nightly entertainment. Overall we didn't get worked up about the little things, we locked up our stuff (twice saw ppl writing reports about their rooms being broken in to), and tried to soak up the sun as much as possible.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

Staff were extremely friendly and always willing to please you. The grounds/gardens were beautiful. Plenty of shade by the pool and at the beach. There were never enough bartenders ...at the beach barandlobby bar. The sports/disco bar only had 1 bartender who worked extremely fast. We were there as a large group who all paid the same but got different sizes of rooms. Rooms were cleaned regularly but no consistency with who received snacks, bed turn downs etc.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great time

Awesome resort just a little larger than we are use to. Three large beautiful pools. Nice beach. Pristine grounds. Staff was a little less attentive than our stay at smaller resorts but overall great value for the price.

Riu Naiboa: Too Laid Back Resort

It was a nice resort but not enough to do there and the excitement wasn't there . Bingo was boring every night, needed something else to keep our interest til the shows started. The shows started way too late by time it came we were ready to leave. The food was ok but still ended up sick , with fever and diarrhea. Three out four got sick. Not Happy.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Ok Resort

The resort is very big, grounds are beautiful. The reservation process for restaurants is done very differently at this resort(not convenient). The food was very good, drinks are good however certain kinds of drinks served at particular bars :(. The pool could of been cleaner. The service during Buffett meals was poor.(looking for utensils, dishes and asking for water two or three times.) This was my third trip to Punta Cana and ninth all inclusive. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great vacation

We stayed at the Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar. The hotel is beautiful with gorgeous grounds, very friendly service, super clean and excellent food. We would not hesitate for a second to return to this resort.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Beautiful Resort on a Beautiful Beach.

Beautiful resort with with friendly staff. Loved everything about this resort. The grounds where beautiful, the beach, and the food was good. The staff at this resort really care to make your stay memorable.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful resort!

We travelled to Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar May 15-22. The resort is beautiful. We stayed in the newer section Ambar 2 and our room was perfect. Very clean. The grounds are immaculate. Food was great - something for everyone. The only complaints we have is the service - it was a hit or miss - not 5 star service. We would have to wait longer than necessary to get our coffee in the morning even when it wasn't that busy. Wait staff weren't that friendly; not what we are used to for the Dominican.
