Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Really nice resort. Both my wife and I really enjoyed the size of the resort being quite small.

The resort was extremely clean, the food was great and the weather even better. The entertainment was surprisingly good. The only negative thing that I could say is we got a little board by weeks end but we should have done an excursion.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Great Resort!

This was our second stay at Decameron Los Cocos. It is a very clean and well maintained resort. The food was exceptional with a great variety for even the pickiest of eaters. The staff are all very friendly and really go out of their way to make sure everyone is taken care of. The resort caters to families so if you don't care for the sound of children a person would be better off in the adults only building providing you have mobility as there is no elevator but there is a lot of stairs. Grand Decameron Panama: Royal Decameron Beach Resort in Panama

Hotel rooms need an update and renovation!! perhaps new furniture!. People working there were very friendly and helpful even though their English wasn’t the best. Dining was great, but were not able to try all the restaurants unfortunately. All guests should be able to attend all possible restaurants in the results and not being turned down due to lack of space – this should be reorganized and be fair to all guests. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Relaxation at its finest:)

Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean. Staff friendly and large enough to give us a variety for the 9 night stay. Highly recommend paying extra for the Temazcal.....sweat lodge with Mayan Shamans......an amazing healing experience. Food was great. Resort offers quiet Adult only options as well as more lively music options good for the whole family. Something for everyone here. U won't go wrong on this one.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great week!

Had a great time! Small but cozy resort. Food was great. Buffet could be changed up more often and set up another a la carte restaurant but nothing major to mention - let's just say we did not loose any weight! Rooms were great! Lots of activities during the day and a short bus ride to town. Would highly recommend this resort!

Decameron Aquarium: Amazing resort

As this is our 5th time at this resort I can't say how beautiful this place is. Check in is quick n easy. All of the al a carte restaurants are extremely good. As for the buffets there was always a huge variety of food daily. U will never go hungry. The staff at this resort is what makes this place so amazing. So friendly n happy on a daily basis. Also amazing is renting golf carts n take in the other decamerons on the island. Stop at bars along the route and interact with the locals n u will find the people to b very friendly. Decameron Baru Beach Resort and Spa: Great Resort

This is a very well run resort. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with beautiful vegetation, a variety of birds and the ubiquitous iguanas. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The food is very good at the buffet and excellent at the a la carte restaurants. The staff are professional and friendly. Having a Transat representative onsite helps a lot as well. Spending a day or more in the old city of Cartagena is strongly recommended: it is a unique place that you will not forg [... read more]et. The hotel offers a daily shuttle at a reasonable cost. Where there is room for improvement is how the beach is managed: the capacity of the resort seemed to be bigger than that of the beach, so it was always hard finding a spot on the sand areas; we ended up staying on the terraces on the side, which was not bad at all. But maybe with some rearrangement of the space the beach could be better. The more serious issue were the jetskies and the boats. The jetskies are constantly passing very close to the area cordoned for swimming (which could be bigger, by the way) trying to sell a ride and making a lot of noise and polluting the place: the smell of gas can be intense at times. On the last day two large boats maneuvered right in the swimming area: this was not only annoying but unsafe. Assigning an area for jetskies and boats away from the swimmers could be a simple solution. There seems to be space for that. I am not sure if that is within the powers of the resort as beaches in Colombia are public.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: So much fun!!

This was my fifth hot vacation and by far the most fun I've ever had. Mostly because of the company I had but also because of this resort. The food is amazing, the hotel is spotless clean, and the staff are incredible. We made friends with quite a few of them during our stay and they made our stay that much more enjoyable. The entertainers are friendly and talented, the bartenders and servers are so attentive and efficient, and the show staff were beautiful to watch. He made the two that we did unforgettable and was a fountain of information (we did sea four fun and Compostela.) I can't wait to come back again!

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Awesome Resort

Loved the layout of the resort/ huts, public areas are kept clean. Staff are friendly, awesome nightly entertainment and variety of food/ different theme every night was great! Disappointment was the beaches/coves, small and rocky- only reason why I wouldn't return to this specific resort.

Grand Decameron Panama: Panama Vacation

We were at this resort about 5 years ago. It truly is a wonderful resort although we felt it was not as good as it was on our previous visit. We felt it was in need of a little face lift. Our room was good, service was good, food was good, several good choices of restaurants. The difficulty we had was the 66 steps up to Lobby 1. We will probably not go back again because at our age it was a little too much.

Grand Decameron Panama: Very Nice resort!

Great Hotel!!would definately recommend it. Great value for the money. Panama city and canal tour were amazing. Really close to airport, checkin was very fast. Weather was great, just becareful to wear sunscreen.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Completely satisfied

Every area of resort was easily accessible, the layout was set up nicely lots of pools to swim in as well as the ocean. Food was great and always available when hungry, and the drinks plentiful. Will be going again next year, and it is a short ride from the airport. Servers where also very friendly and easy to get alone with.

This hotel is very homey with very friendly staff. The rooms are clean. With the adult pool you have the choice of kids or no kids. There are 2 buffets and 5 restaurants for dinners and 3 buffets and 2 snack bars for lunch.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Enjoyable experience

We stayed in Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach March 4th to March 11th, the hotel located 5 minutes away from the airport, and right in the heart of Montego Bay, it's safe to walk on the street outside of the hotel, at the gate security ask you for your room number when you go outside of the hotel, which is nice, so they keep truck of their guests. It's a small resort, but very lovely property, the hotel building is new and all the rooms facing the beach, so you feel great looking at the ocean al [... read more]l the time, rooms are very spacious and clean, nice bathroom, comfortable beds, clean linens, the only negative we found that the doors are a bit smaller than the frames and you can here all noises from the street. Food is good, not a large variety but it's well prepared, Beach is not too big, but big enough for the number of guests, we did not have to run at 5 o'clock in the morning to reserve the space under umbrella. There was an entertainment every day of the week, the staff is doing their best to keep everyone happy,

This was not our first visit to the RDC and as always we were not disappointed. The grounds and facility were impressively kept, always clean. We were travelling with 2 children and needed extra drawers in our room. We asked for an extra dresser and it was delivered within hours. The staff are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I forgot my beach towel in the buffet restaurant one morning (big no no!) But the next morning when we were there for breakfast the hostess appeared at our table with my towel! Super happy that they found it as I didn't want to pay the fee to replace it and super impressed that they recoginized me. Food and drinks were good, there is something for everyone. This was our first time travelling with our two grandchildren 8 & 10 years old and they had a fabulous time. The RDC is definitely the place to take kids! We will return again!

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Los Cocos

Second time at Los Cocos. Love the staff, food is good, rooms fine all that. There are a few things that could be addressed that might improve the experience. 1. Enforce no smoking zones. 2. Fix La Bamba Restaurant sign up procedure. People line up to sign up for seating a then a certain group (won't mention which group) of people feel the line up means nothing and butt in to the front of the line and then call their friends up to do the same. With only one a la carte restaurant this means pe [... read more]ople who have waited get shut out because of those who have butted into line. 3. Move the wrecked boat that has been on the beach right in front of the beach club property in Los Ayala-EYESORE. 4. Improve wifi. Not the end of the world but it wouldn't take much to improve it.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Terrific resort!

What makes this resort special is the staff. They are helpful, friendly and want to make your stay special. The resort has a lovely bright tropical feeling. The food was great with lots of variety. The view of the pool and the beach from every room is beautiful.

Grand Decameron Panama: Objective Review

This will be an extensive review so I will break it down into a few headings. 1. Hotel Grounds - The resort is huge!!! I say that because if you have any mobility issues or health issues which hinder walking or climbing stairs, avoid this resort at all costs. There are approximately 65 - 75 stairs to climb to get from beach level to the lobby and some rooms. After a few drinks or in the heat it is almost dangerous and at the very least exhausting. From one end of the resort to the other is ab [... read more]out a 7 - 10 minute walk. The hotel is kept clean and the gardens are well maintained. There are numerous pools and bars to satisfy all. Once again, BEWARE OF ALL THE STAIRS!!! 2. Rooms - The rooms are the typical resort room, we had 2 double beds plus a single futon in the room. We had no problems with hot water at any time. There is a fridge in the room to keep water which is provided but any other drinks have to be purchased. The air conditioning worked which is a godsend after all the stairs and walking in the heat. 3. Food - The best way to describe the food is that it's a step above Cuba but by no means Mexico or what Canadians are accustomed to. The buffets are typical all inclusive resort buffets, you won't go hungry, but don't expect 5 star food. The a la cartes are worth it, we sampled the grill, Mexican and seafood restaurants and they were good except for the Mexican one. The biggest drawback to the food is the reservation system at the hotel. You must reserve 3 days of meals (including buffet) at a time. This means you have to get up early twice during your stay to go to one of the lobbies and get a number. When they call your number you go and reserve your dinners for the next 3 days. I understand reserving the a la cartes, but the buffet??? 4. Weather - The weather in late February was fantastic!! Sunny and hot!!! In the 7 days we were there, not a drop of rain. 30+ degrees each day. 5. Service - I will start by saying this isn't Cuba so don't expect everyone to be fluent in English. Most of the staff speaks Spanish and it is not uncommon to find difficulty communicating with staff. They understand the usual... beer, rum, bathrooms and please and thank you, but don't expect much more. Unlike Cuba where they seem to charge after you looking for tips, you are more likely to have to call them over for assistance. The staff don't smile very much either which I am told is a way of life there, not a rude attitude. 6. Beach - The beach is huge, excellent for those who like to walk along the beach. It is almost a 10 minute walk from one end to the other. The sand is very hot so wear water shoes or sandals when not in the water. There is a very strong undertow and can be extremely dangerous. We went with excellent swimmers and only went out about 20 feet from shore. Every day was a yellow or red flag day (warning or danger). Two people in our group were stung by jellyfish, close to shore. Because of the undertow and no coral or such, snorkeling is a waste of time (Travel rep's words) 7. Check In / Out - Rio Hato airport is just a 5 minute drive away from the Resort and the check in is done at the airport. You are given a package that includes: your room key (yes an actual key!!!), a voucher for the dinner buffet, your towel cards and a map of the hotel. Once the bus arrives at the hotel you can go straight to your room and start your vacation. Extra room key requires a $15 deposit and a safe key costs $22 dollars for the week. When leaving, check which bus you are on to the airport and hand in your key and off you go. The airport has no food except for vending machines (pop and chips etc.) and no duty free. If you want to bring some rum or such back it will have to go into your checked luggage. 8. Other - The drinks are fabulous, never had a bad drink anywhere on site. We took the Aerial Tram and Canal Excursion and had a real good time. Bring water with you, they supplied water but didn't tell us and one man came down with heat stroke. The washrooms leave something to be desired and it is not uncommon to have no running water in them. There is a small store and some vendors off site about 5 minute walk from the resort. Leave lobby 3 and turn left and it is a nice walk to a grocery store and many souvenirs (much less expensive that the gift shop at the resort). There is a restaurant called "La Fogata" on the way to the stores, I never ate there but was told the food was excellent and reasonably priced. 9. Conclusion - I was glad I went there and had a really good time but, and I mean but!!! If walking long distances or climbing stairs is an issue, avoid this place!

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Nice Resort

The resort was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. The food was decent - you won't go hungry, but the buffet isn't as expansive as some other resorts. Having to pay for the use of the safe and wifi in 2017 is pretty ridiculous. There were no timeshare sellers, which is so nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The entertainment was a mixed bag - some nights great and other nights less so. The resort could do a better job of posting daily activities, buffet theme for  [... read more]the week, etc. There was opportunity to engage guests more. For example, we were there during the Oscars - an Oscars viewing party would've been really easy to throw together. The check in process is really SLOW. The location is great. A short cab or 30 minute walk into the centre of the city. The beach is beautiful. No swimming, but there is a swimmable beach within walking distance - again, information the hotel could've provided. It was good value for money. We didn't pay a lot, so we can't expect the world.
