Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Nice resort

Rooms could use alittle upgrade. A couple of days had no towels in bathroom. More servers around the pool area. Lack of mats(loungers) in the pool. More huts at the beach for shade. Loved the grill and idea of no reservations for restaurants. Workers very friendly.

Dreams Huatulco: A beautiful resort in a beautiful area

We are 60 years old who have travelled to most of the Caribbean islands and several Central American countries, usually staying in 4 / 5 star all-inclusive resorts. We prefer smaller type resorts with a chance to visit the local area. We have been to this area once before and found the local people basically, polite, friendly and comfortable to be around whether at the resort or in town which is why we went back to the Huatulco area. We found the Dreams Huatulco resort to be one of the better experiences overall we have had at an all-inclusive resort. The meals and drinks were better than we have seen with good selections and no, to little waiting for seating in the restaurant’s or buffet. The resort, grounds and beach were very clean, plenty of seating and as always no matter where we go the early bird gets the best seats but I don’t think there are any bad seats at the Dreams Huatulco. The rooms were comfortable, clean and serviced twice a day which we found a little much, once a day is sufficient for the amount of time we spent in them. If you are people who like to sit by the pool, this resort offers what looked like to us two infinity pool for adults, a family pool and I’m going to call it a shady senior pool with lots of sunny or shady seating around them. With the resort being on the Pacific we found the waves not to be that strong with an optional place for easy access into the water where there was good snorkeling. There were many more items that impressed us with the Dreams Resort but overall the above are the basics we usually look for when choosing a place and a resort to go to. Based on our stay and talking to the many other people we met who were having the same experience as us at the resort we would have no problems recommending this resort and look forward to our return or checking out the other Dreams Resort locations. Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Wonderful family vacation at an amazing resort!

We just returned from a 7 day March Trip at Dreams Palm Beach with our two teenagers. The resort was truly wonderful; the food was excellent, accommodations great, resort small and manageable, truly spectacular staff who always had a smile and offered amazing service. The entertainment staff were especially wonderful and we made many new friends who we would love to pay a return visit to see again! JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Truly a total relaxing resort

Dreams Las Mareas is a beautiful resort with great, friendly staff. For the size of the resort it was never an issue for seating around the many pools or having to wait for a seat at one of the 5 a la carte restaurants. The only downfall was that it wasn't close to any towns to shop and explore.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Best trip ever!!

Everything about this place was amazing from the staff to the grounds to the FOOD!!!! I would highly recommended this resort! The beach was beautiful as well. Definitely would go back to this resort again!!!

Dreams La Romana: A resort you don't want to miss.

We went with our extended family, ranging in age from 18 months and older. We all really enjoyed our visit to this hotel. It is a short ride from the airport and with small children this was a real bonus. Everything was of high caliber. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quite spacious. The staff where very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the coffee shop was a lovely bonus.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Great family vacation

The grounds were great, service and food was excellent. The beach was awesome. The room service is 24/7. The kids were entertained everyday and everyone was so kind. The dolphin swim was an unreal experience.

Dreams was a wonderful spot for an amazing family vacation! There was so many fun things to do- the food was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. Great size resort. The dolphin experience was incredible. The beach was clean and nice. Kayaking,sailing kidsclub all great!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Nice Resort, Nice Amenities, Nice Staff...But Still needs work

Well kept grounds , no mosquitos. Kids clubs, family/teen centre, pools, and beach were great. Staff were nice. Food ok, but too much pork. Rooms clean, but too small. All of us got travellers diarrhrea.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Dreams Palm Beach

Hello, Let me start by saying I was not impressed at all with Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana. We've stayed at Dreams resorts before and it exceeded our expectations! To start upon loosing our luggage once located made us pay a 70 fee to have it sent to the resort with no receipt to claim upon our return. The food selection was horrible.. even the buffet had the exact same food everyday! Like I said we've been to another Dreams in Dominican and never experienced that! The kids club was way out of the way.. the days it rained they had nothing lined up for kids! They didn't have the trampoline in the water.. Beach was horrible! Rooms were average. However no water pressure.. thank god I paid for our inlaws to come so we could use their shower! Special side note.. you should advise the rooms don't come with a bath tub! That was a treat trying to shower my 7 month old who can't sit up!! In the end the money that I personally paid for 7 people to go was insane for what we got! We would of been better off going to the last Dreams or even the Bahia that I would of rated a 15 over a 5 star!

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: PERFECT FAMILY VACATION

Our family just returned from a fabulous week at Dreams Puerto Aventuras. The hotel was the perfect size, wasn't overly large which was great for young families. Our daughters (6&9) were able to get around and always in our view, unlike other resorts we've stayed at in the past. We had a ground level family suite, which was amazing. We were able to walk in and out all day long, and great for us when kids were in room resting after a long day in the sun. We had great food and went to all of the  [... read more]a la carte restaurants. It was extremely nice not having to make reservations. We never had to wait and were always taken care of. The barefoot grille made the most amazing wood fire pizzas. To die for! There was a lot of options and never repeat meals. Lots of varieties and plenty of food! Dulce, at the main pool, always made sure we had something cold to drink and was a sweetie. The Kids Club was fantastic and always had activities for the kids. Our girls participated in crafts and bungee trampoline. It was nice that my husband and I felt safe to leave the girls for activities. The entertainment team was fantastic. They truly keep that resort happening. Giovanni, Bernice, Jorge... Loved the water aerobics, Zumba, foam party in pool, zip lining across Beach, sandcastle competition...all an amazing experience that was a wonderful experience for our family. The nightly shows were good, Magic shows, fire show. We participated in the Dolphin Discovery on site as well. However, I booked directly on the website 2 weeks before we arrived. I was able to get a deal (50%) off entire booking, where it was extremely pricey to book at actual location . The town of Puerto Aventuras also has Dolphin Discovery programs too, where you can swim with Dolphins, Manatees and Sea Lions. Puerto Aventuras was a lovely experience. Our daughters had their hair braided, bought souvenirs and ate amazing gelato ice cream! We were able to see the marina and the fish that were caught during day. We were very impressed with the friendliness, the smiles that everyone gave and it truly was an amazing experience. We would recommended this resort for sure!

Dreams Los Cabos: Great time resort

We had a Great time. Very relaxing and extremely friendly staff. Meals were good with a number of selections nightly. Liked that we did not need to make reservations in the restaurants. Air Transat rep in Cabo was disappointing. Put us on the wrong bus to the resort and never confirmed pick up time.

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Mediocre resort

This resort is about 150 Kilometers from the airport and based on the time of year it could take a while to get there. This is based on Air Transat flying into Rio Hato airport. It took us approximately 3.5 hours to get to the resort as the Panama Carnival was on and the traffic was backed up for about 100 Kilometers going towards Panama city. The resort grounds were really nice. The beach is not that good as the tide goes out 12 to 16 feet leaving a lot of rock. The beach has sand fleas which a [... read more]re very evident when the tide was out.If you are prone to these bites make sure you have some sort of spray. I found out the hard way. The grounds of the resort are really nice. The rooms are okay. We did have an issue with getting towels replaced and the air conditioner was noisy. There was only 2 Ala-cart restaurants open at one time. You did not have to book time but the one night we went we had a 45 minute wait for a table. The evening buffet at night we found to be cold and not a lot of selection. The breakfast and lunch buffets were the best meals of the day. There is a language barrier as not many people speak English. We have stayed a lot of 4.5 to 5 star resorts and this resort did not compare to them. I would have to say that this was most probably a 3.5 star resort at best. I would not go back or recommend it to any of my friends.

Dreams Huatulco: Great holiday and resort.

We have travelled​ extensively through the Caribbean over many years and we this resort is the cleanest we have ever seen along with excellent service and great food. Highly recommend especially for beach lovers.

Dreams Huatulco: Excellent Resort

Beautiful resort 25 minutes from the airport. Safe, clean and loads of fun. Loved the 24 hour cafe which served all types of coffee, smoothies, teas and pastries. Food was plentiful including a wide variety of drinks. Service was excellent and we received an upgraded room upon arrival. Enjoyed the infinity pools and also spent time relaxing at the adult only pool.

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Everything we hoped for.

Dreams did not disappoint. We wanted some isolation and that is what we got. Everything was exceptional. Sure, some of the chairs around the pools were taken early but we never had problems finding some. The food was exceptional and the nightly entertainment was exactly that, entertaining. The beach was beautiful and we'll maintained. Sand as far as you could see and great for swimming. I really liked to be able to stand on the beach, loòk left and right, and not see another resort. Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: great spot for a vacation

the staff and service were great at the dreams sands resort and the food was terrific but we didn't get the room we requested the first night and had to spend a good part of the next day getting that fixed and the room we were moved to was quite dated and this seemed to be so with most of the rooms ,maid service was slow and most times something was forgotten and we had to call to have it made right,all in all it is a pretty good hotel not a four and a half star like advertised but the location  [... read more]is good and the beach and swimming were fantastic ,we would go back if the price was right as we have stayed at more modern places for around the same amount of money.

Dreams Huatulco: Great resort.

This resort has it all: great beach, pools, rooms,staff and weather. The food is good with no dinning reservations required. Lots of A la carte dining. Not all restaurants were open every day and some of the English translation of the menus was poor, particularly in El Patio. We liked the Asian and Sea Side Grill the best. The buffet was great for breakfast and lunch. Good snorkelling right off the beach. Surf was yellow flag all week. We were here in 2010 and as a result our room was upgraded.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Enjoyed our Holiday at Dreams Dominicus

What a beautiful resort. The entertainment staff stand out to me as being one of the best parts of our vacation. They worked so hard and were so enjoyable. The food was also amazing . The a la carts were done very well and the food was excellent. It was great not having to reserve. There is a few things that need improvement. The language barrier was a big one, a lot of staff couldn't speak English. At coffee bar wanted a Spanish coffee , they did not know what it was, and could not un [... read more]derstand us when we tried to explain it. It would be helpful to have a list of drinks with ingredients listed to delete the confusion at the bars. Also for some reason we often got mugs and glasses that were dirty. One night we got a beer with a straw paper cover in it . Also one morning my coffee mug had lipstick and imprint of lips on the outside of mug. Not sure if they dont have a good dishwasher or , it appeared the glasses and mugs may have just been rinsed off. This grossed me out. I felt that at bars and restaurants they need to improve on their organization it often seemed they were running scattered. There is not a lot of shade on the beach and we had to always ask for umbrellas . Just invest in more umbrellas ....problem solved. I understand they just opened and i feel that if they listen to the reviews and address some of the issues this resort will be amazing.

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: A Little Piece of Paradise

It is a well maintained property located in a beautiful setting. Their eye for detail was evident in terms of the upkeep of the grounds, the pools & the restaurants. The staff was always smiling, very pleasant & helpful. The lighting on the property was poor which was a safety hazard. We didn't have any hot water in the shower for the 1st 5 days of our 7 day stay. Items were often overlooked by housekeeping (fresh glasses, packets of coffee) & the mini bar was not stocked every day.
