Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Beautiful Location and Resort

Interesting activities on site. The specialty restaurants are difficult to book for a decent hour. We prefer not to eat after 9 pm. We were not impressed by the Italian restaurant, the food was minimal and not very good.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Great Family Vacation

Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the resort. The beach is fantastic and the staff are welcoming and very friendly. It was worth the extra money to enjoy the amenities of the Preferred Club. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Amazing view,great location

Our third time there.We are in standard room.We know what to expect so are not surprised by the condition of room.although clean and comfortable bed,very dated,shower and bath had nearly no pressure but never asked to move since we don't spend much time in room,had walkout to pool.love the different pools and scenery.The buffet food was very very good.spent a lot of time in town which is block away,tons of fun at the bars and restaurants.also short walk to sosua beach .

Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata: Emotions

Unfortunatley our stay at Emotions was a bit different this year. I got food poisoning and dioreha. The cleanliness of the hotel wasnt as impressive luckily i brought lysol wipes and cleaned the room myself :( overal i wont be supporting or recomending Emotions in the future.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great vacation destination

Beautiful pool, beach and grounds. Nice spacious, well appointed rooms. Good food and nice choice of restaurants. Super service and cleaning staff. Entertainment was ok. Room service available at all times.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Excellent Resort for the money

This was my second trip to The Senator and it did not disappoint. The attention to detail in cleanliness and ground maintenance was stunning. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, service was very good, food was quite good and the steakhouse was perfect. We were there for two weeks and enjoyed the hot weather and watching the cruise ships coming and going. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas at the pool and lots of chairs at the beach. Legends is wonderful, great [... read more] service and great food. There are two pools, one is the party pool and the other is the quiet pool. The party pool has the swim up bar and the surfaces have been redone. The quiet pool does need to have the same resurfacing but that didn't stop us from using it. On the downside there should be more tables and chairs available for people to sit for coffee or play games and cards. It would have been nice to have regular soft drinks but all were diet. We were in room 1025, close to everything .The room was a bit dated but clean, we basically only use the room to sleep so all was good. Overall a great spot.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Wonderful Resort

What a beautiful resort!! The grounds were gorgeous as well as the beach. The pools were clean. Upon our arrival we asked to be upgraded and Enmanuel at check in was able to complete the upgrade. Our butler Rafael greeted us in the lounge, explained areas of the resort. VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Amazing resort

The grounds at this hotel were immaculate as per usual. The food was excellent and the room was very clean and quiet with a view of the beach. This was our fifhteen year going to this resort and what stands out are the people who work at this resort. From manager in charge of food services, Sessione Ventura to Raul at breakfast. These people go above and beyond for their guest.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Fabulous resort

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the Majestic Elegance Resort. It is a beautiful, clean resort with amazing staff and terrific food. We upgraded to the Elegance Club and felt it was well worth it. We loved the Elegance Club adult only quiet pool and the exclusive ala carte breakfast and lunch restaurant as well as the Elegance Club lounges and coffee shop. I can’t say enough about the staff. He will need your Air Canada booking number ( usually starts with 235…) in order to give you the airport shuttle pick up time the day before departure. Having travelled at least twice a year since 2020, this was new to many of us. We had previously just looked at the binder in the lobby for this information. Don’t hesitate to book this resort. It’s fabulous and only a half hour away from the airport.

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: All in all a great experience

The main public areas (lobby, pools and buffets) were well maintained, although maintenance to some infrastructure (roof thatching, some moldy hallways) needed attention. In addition, I'd strongly recommend making the narrow closed in area in front of the only entrace to the main buffet a 'Non Smoking Area' as cigerette smoke smells took away from the dining experience.

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Viva Heavens Puerto Plata

I thought the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Resort was a perfect size. Food was good, however three in our group were sick, including myself. I had ate at buffet not sure what caused the food poisoning. I was terribly sick! Pool was somewhat concerning when we arrived. Lots of algae in the pool and very green.

Dreams Cap Cana Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

This resort is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well kept, the restaurants are spotless and the food was great. The beach is not the best, it's rocky and lots of seaweed. Lots of games set up on the grass. We were Preferred Club and it was great. Very safe area in Cap Cana. Security to let you into the area, and security to let you into your resort.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: 3 star

Rooms need a lot of maintenance, most of the food has no taste. Pool chairs always taken by old people (from 3 am) even if they can no show up through the day. Resort little bit upgrade the furniture. Can give No more than 3 star

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Royalton Bavaro Punta Cana ** Amazing Resort

The grounds and the hotel is beautiful. Very well kept. The people from check in- to the vibeteam to everyone works there are very friendly and very welcoming. I love the DR, its my favorite place to visit. My husband and I got married i the DR 3 years ago at a different resort which we enjoyed as well but out of all the resorts i have visited in the DR, Jamaica and Cuba, this is my favorite resort so far. My hubby and I plan to visit again next years. We loved the food, loved the lazy river and [... read more] just loved everything about this resort. The shows were amazing as well. The only thing I wish is they had more things to do at night for the adults and also the people on the beach trying to sell things, they are very pushy. I know they are trying to make money but we are also there to enjoy a nice vacation.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Royalton Bavaro is an excellent stay

I loved it. Beautiful grounds, beach they had phenomenal shows each night. The food is good especially Zen Japanese. I absolutely love the lazy river as well. Loved the staff they are so helpful and friendly. Rosa our concierge. Franklin and Julio our bartenders. Reggie and Julio the excursion people were awesome. The shows were so good and they had one each night.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Decent trip

Overall we do have a good trip. The staff here were very friendly and welcoming. The beach was stunning although a bit rough. Drinks at this resort were top notch. Made perfectly and massive variety. The food was just ok, typical resort food and nothing special. There are lots of pools but they do need maintenance, my daughter cut her foot at two different pools from broken drain as well as missing tiles causing sharp edges, also one of the pool lights was popped out of the hole and just floatin [... read more]g at the side of the pool with wires exposed. Water park was actually great and our kids had the best time there. That being said 5 out of 8 of our party did become sick with vomiting and diarrhea (which seems to be common at this resort from reading other reviews). Overall we did have a good trip however I would not visit this resort again nor would I personally recommend it. That being said if you have booked here I do think you will have a good time as long as you don’t get sick.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Marien Puerto Plata

Hi Sandra Few issues with our trip to the Marien. First off we recommended main floor. We were given 2nd floor. They finally arranged for ground floor a few days into our trip. Secondly there was a rain storm that ended with us getting back to our room to find an inch and a half of water all over the floor, in all areas of our room. We contacted front desk and they said they would send someone but no one showed. My husband had to clean up all the water with towels. Water would not go down drain [... read more]s. Toilets stopped working no water. Our travel companions who both have mobility issues had water on there floor as well did not get any assistance till the next day when the maid arrived. This was our 2nd trip to this resort and we’re disappointed. We registered a complaint with guest services. Moral at the resort was not good with staff. We had to wait and request numerous times to get water and coffee many of the days we were at this resort. We feel that we paid a lot of money and did not receive the services that we paid for and are asking Transit to compensate us for the difficulties we experience. Please look into this for me and get back to me as soon as possible.

Paradisus Grand Cana: Great Modern Design

The suites are spacious and modern. The beach was amazing and service at the beach was fabulous. Thanks Jose for a wonderful experience. The food and restaurant reservation policy were a disappointment.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Fabulous Resort!

The grounds are absolutely stunning. The property, rooms, pools, and common areas are spotless and beautifully detailed. The food in Quimera and the A La Carte Restaurants is excellent. The buffet food is adequate. The shows are fabulous. The bars and drinks are superb! The staff is extremely kind and always willing to help. We foud a difference in check-in service because of the lack of butlers and concierges cannot do all that the past check-in staff plus butlers used to do.
