Royalton CHIC Cancun: What an amazing deal!

The hotel facilities are amazing and high class. - The rooms were really plush and AC was cold, you feel premium class - Room food service available order through the TV, late into the night Food was fantastic! Third floor is usually where everyone gathers for the evening and they have a DJ there and usually play music till 12-1. Closes kinda early for those drinkers who prime just at late hours. Service is top notch, the guys really try hard, so be nice and tip. It was great to feel that they service you well without tipping first - something I did not like in my previous stay in Cancun at the Oasis resort. They have a rooftop patio and its so sick, some times foam parties. About COVID - all the staff do a tremendous job of wearing masks, they check your temperatures at restaurants or other public gathering places, there is disinfectant and wash stations throughout. Really good job by the hotel. It’s a mixed story with the tourists, especially at night when they get sauced. Some wear masks others don’t - do your due diligence. It’s hard to enforce so don’t knock the resort management. For testing it cost $160 CAD and the doctor comes to the hotel. Arrange it at the guest service area. Very easy The gym facilities were the seller for me and they are top notch and the trainers amazing. Morning yoga, hit, TRX, boxing, gym classes, beach challenges and activities etc... AAA If you are the type of person who complains for the sake of complaining, stay away! If you lose something and cant find it it’s your fault. Too many times I hear I lost a ring in the room, sunglasses, phone, boom box. C’mon people!!! Lock your shit in a safe, keep your valuables away, and don’t get drunk. There was a case where a worker left with a persons shoes and phone but security got it resolved. Always talk to your neighbours and keep watch, the tourists can steal too... Word of advice, leave your Gucci and other designer stuff at home. Here’s some suggestions to help you determine if this resort is for you - This is not a quiet resort. Be prepared for music, loud and lots of it. - Crowd is mixed, mostly saw couples, some solo. Crowd ranging from young, middle age and not that many elderly (few). - Service is awesome by the staff - It’s not a big grounds resort so don’t expect it to cover lots of ground. - It’s the best hotel within a good radius no doubt, I walked to check. - amazing beach time - top class gym facilities - Service desk sometimes gets overwhelmed, time your visits not during peak hours Lastly, trip advisor staff did an outstanding job of preparing me for the trip. Kudos!!

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Definitely recommend

food was delicious, staff were friendly and attentive, entertainment was impressive and the beach was fabulous! The only shortcoming was the room being stocked with water on a daily basis. I went with my 2 teenage daughters and they loved it!

Air Canada Rouge didn't have my Aeroplan # so they didn't know I am Elite for Life and a Million Miler so had seats at the back of the bus (after considerable effort finding seats together thru check in). We arrived on schedule yet took an hour to get through airport. We sat for another 45 min on the bus while we waited for smokers to finish their cigarettes! We liked our room when we finally got there and hotel scenery was very nice. Problems really weren't noticeable until we tried to get water in the morning since there was nothing in our room/bar fridge. At 7am, I called room service but no one answered. I made the long trek to the front lobby as a security guard said they have water. Not true, and front desk called room service but still no answer. I was also not impressed that we had to line up to make dinner reservations each day at 9am. Lineup to breakfast buffet was 30 min and then once in the food area, lineups everywhere since no food was out on display (no buffets). It really tested your patience. The service in this hotel was really bad everywhere. But worst of all, the food quality in most restaurants was really poor. I have stayed in many all-inclusive properties (Paridiso was booked in 2019 for our group of 7 in the DR and it far outweighed the food experience with my girlfriend (GF) at the Royalton). I want to believe the quality was poor due to covid19 but why? Service being poor makes more sense since they were understaffed and only 58% occupied according to the customer service manager. I would like to write to The Royalton about our experience to see if they would offer us anything as we want to return- this time to The Grand Lido in Negril on our next vacation (after Covid). We know a number of restaurants were closed and we think it may be a different experience next time. I want to give them another chance as my GF stayed there many years ago and was recently at the Royalton White Sands with her mother and kids last March just prior to the lockdown. She was pleased with the food on that trip so she too was disappointed with the quality of the food and the very slow service in almost everywhere we went at the Royalton Negril. We also didn't sleep past 7am each day as someone outside our room would start talking and laughing everyday once the sun rose up. I think it may have been a security guard a few floors down near the pool. Very annoying when you are on vacation!!! Do you recommend we write to the hotel? Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Much anticipated...totally worth it!

Arriving in Santa Clara airport, everyone received a Covid PCR test. Very little delay in getting through. At the hotel we received the results within 18hrs. Required to wear the face masks until getting the results. We took a private transfer to the hotel and upon arrival, my wife and I commented that here must be some VIP's coming, as there was all of the hotel staff 100+ waiting to greet us! We were quite literally the first guests in the hotel since they shutdown 9 months ago! The staff w [... read more]ere all amazing and attentive from the GM Alex to the Butlers, who had alternating days of work. In the hotel and throughout Cuba it is mandatory for all to wear the masks. Staff was constantly topping up sanitizing dispensers, restaurant and lobby areas were sanitized after each use. The main washrooms by each the restaurants/pool had full time attendants sanitizing after use. Social distancing markers were placed in areas were lineups may occur. QR codes are on each table with the menu of the day for each restaurant. We really...really enjoyed this hotel and were 100% comfortable and very impressed with how The Royalton/staff are dealing with the guests and handling the constant cleaning and sanitizing through these crazy times!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Not what we expected

Too crowded and TOO noisy, a lot of drunk people misbehaved in the halls after 10 PM. Dirty beaches: seaweed all over the place and wastewater from mangrove forests that prevented us from swimming in the last two days. The crew was generally welcome, helpful and professional. Good food despite the covid restrictions. Great gym. Basically, it's one big hotel with lots of pools and good entertainment. Nonetheless, I would not go there ever again and hence would not recommend it to others.

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: i would say this was a 3.5/5.

The rooms and the resort were wonderful. the service was terrible from our first drink to the last. Not even a smile most of the time. Servers act like they didn't even care or even want a job, never mind a tip.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Would not call it amazing

Heard great reviews but This resort was highly disappointing. From the time you enter, sales staff on your case. To the pool chair rules, to the LONG wait for restaurants. Couldn’t even get into one of the restaurants we wanted to try. Food was not great The constant loud music at night. Would not recommend this resort.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Great vacation

Hotel was nice. the wait at the bars were long, sometimes they didn't have items on the menu from the a la carte restaurant. Sunwing is a horrible flight experience, always out of everything from the menu onboard, passengers that are loud and ignorant.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Disappointing

After staying at the Royalton in Mexico last year, we were looking for a similar experience this year in Punta Cana. We elected to take the Diamond Club option which provided some extra advantages which were good. The butler service was very disappointing. Food for the most part was good. A la Carte restaurants were good, but service was very slow. The house wines were dreadful. Premium liquors were advertised as included, but was not entirely the case. Many staff did not understand English very [... read more] well, so communicating was often difficult. Grounds were nicely kept, but simple little things ignored. There is a nice 9 hole mini-golf course, but the water(it rained 4 out of seven days), and stones were never cleaned off. The lazy river was nice for the kids. Beautiful beaches, lots of chairs both on the beach and by the pools. Staff often didn't seem friendly, and were not as engaging as last year for group activities.

Pools were very crowded. The beach was great for walking but big issue with seaweed. Lots of restaurants, very easy to navigate this resort. Brie was a great butler, very helpful. Staff were very friendly.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Very clean, bright and urban feel resort

Rooms are very clean and bright, restaurants are top notch, service is excellent, either at the bars or lobby. The only point that was disappointing is the choice of music everywhere, there is no local music anywhere to be found.

it was a great vacation for my first time in mexico. the resort was amazing, the staff very kind, friendly and helpful. thanks Ninfa for keeping our room always clean, Jose for your energy and all the staff for their help and hosptality. the only thing that we didn't like, is the beach, it as full of weeds so we did not enjoy swimming. it's a real all inclusive/ it deserve 5 star i recommand the place and for sure i will return there with my friends and family.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Clean and Modern

Husband and I went for our honeymoon and it was more than we could Ask for. I am a little bit of a clean freak, and this hotel was honestly so clean and modern. We didn’t hold back from eating things that could possibly make us sick, because everything looked so appealing and clean. From the rooms to the buffet, to the Signature restaurants at the hotel, everything was very clean, calm and beautiful. We felt so safe in there. Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: A great resort but.....

The resort is very clean and well maintained, but....White Sands accommodations are in very poor condition. The rooms are run down and in dire need of work. The decor is the same as 40 years ago!!!! If you go to this resort, spend the extra money and stay at Blue Waters. The rooms are bigger, the staff at the front desk are friendlier and accommodating.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Wonderful week away

Resort staff did everything they could to provide us with a perfect vacation. Resort was clean, comfortable and friendly. All food was good, restaurants were clean and organized. Entertainment was first class!

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Hideway at Royalton Suites St. Lucia

Own Pool and a walkout Balcony too. What a place for a week or even longer. Food was excellent the staff friendly and very helpful. All guests save one were respective of everyone's rights. I wished I could stay longer.

Hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A lot of fun activities to do around the resort. Food was alright. Buffet had a nice selection to choose from. Try to get to buffet earlier than later. It’s harder to get refills on coffee when they are slammed.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Great Resort

The hotel was spotless, room was great awesome rain showers, pools were clean, the food was fantastic...especially the Brazilian restaurant, the beach is beautiful with crystal clear blue water. The only downfall was the service at the pool areas it seemed on a daily basis that there was not enough staff to effectively service the amount of people.
