Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful resort!!

Our stay the first week of Oct'16 was wonderful!! The resort was truly beautiful. The staff were fantastic. Even the ride in the trains to the beach were both fun and educational. The food was great !! Great quality and variety. Our only complaint was there were too many bugs at night and I guess cause we were on ground floor in our room. But that's the rainy season for you😏. Highly recommend this resort.

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Wonderful Vacation

The grounds were well kept and were constantly being maintained by staff. Staff very friendly and always wanting to make sure your stay was outstanding. The pool area was large and pool service was exceptional. All the restaurants very good with the Hibachi restaurant our favourite. The entertainment team did a great job and got guests involved. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Very large...first class!!

The hotel lobby was the most "unglamorous" of the whole resort...small, non-decorated. The rooms are extra large into 2 distinct living parts..kitchen/livingroom and bed/bathrooms! We swam our way each day from our room to the beach area..great connecting pools. Dining was great variety and first class. Wait staff took time to get to know you and remembered your preferences. Beach was long and great for walking. Azuls is more of a condominium setting than a public resort.

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Simply amazing

Been to many resorts along the Riviera Maya area such as Secrets Silversands, Excellence Riviera, Royal Playa Del Carmen and Paradisus La Perla Royal Service but Secrets Akumal wins hands down. The resort is brand new and the layout and landscaping is beautiful, but the best part is the beach with no sea weeds. The sand is soft, white and water is very clear where we went snorkeling and for the first time saw turtles. The bay is protected by the reefs and the ocean is very calm. The beach is pre [... read more]tty long about 2 kilometers so that you can have a nice walk in the morning with a nice sunrise view. The rooms were well decorated with a round hot tub and wall mounted flat tv. All of the restaurants were top notch.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Wonderful Stay at Royalton

We returned to the Royalton for a second time after staying there the previous Spring. It is truly an excellent resort. The food throughout (buffet and restaurants) is really good with lots of selection. The property is large enough that the pools and beach are not overly crowded. Grounds are well kept, and the hotel is overall clean and well maintained. Only complaint is the entertainment - it's awful. Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Paradisus Playa Del Carmen

Awesome resport and great customer service! The beach was stunning! Great night life close to fifth ave. I would Highly recommend this resort to families And couples. Something to do for everyone! This is our second time at the resort and we are definitely going back!

Grand Riviera Princess: Relax...Relax...Relax

From booking, to the flight, to the shuttle, to check in...... everything, was top notch. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, happy to help or just to say hello. The hotel was VERY clean, both inside and out. The hotel grounds were big but well laid out and something to do or see at every stop. The grounds were immaculate! the grass looks fake it is so nice... ( I did see them cutting it thou.... lol). The room was very clean and the housekeeper would make a different towel design everyday. The  [... read more]food at the buffet was actually really good, it was clean, well stocked and the wait staff were very nice. The a la cartes were pretty good, some of the food was very oily, but overall very happy. The bar staff were amazing! Funny, friendly and very helpful. The front desk staff greeted us with a glass of champagne, and upgraded our room as it was our honeymoon. They gave us a free romantic dinner on the beach at "Chill Out" bar which was not included in the package. After reviewing different websites to find the best price, I chose Tripcentral.ca and do not regret it one bit and will not change for all other future trips. I was helped by Doug Griffin, and cant say enough good this about my experience with him. Doug was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and helped us with choosing an unforgettable honeymoon!, that was also in our budget. Thank you Doug for your help, and I look forward to discussing our next vacation. Overall.... AMAZING.... and would definitely go back

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Beautiful Paraiso beach

My wife and i really enjoy being there among all the Hotels we done before,food was good,the room was clean,the beach awsome and clean,nice big lobby,overall rate 4.5 on 5. We lack electricity and water for 7- 8 hours but was ok,the only thing we could say is that the shuttle was not comming fast enought,sometime waiting 15 minutes,specialy at supper or breakfast.

Ocean Maya Royale: Pests

I thought over all that the resort was good. The employees were pleasant. Even the beds were comfortable. The thing that was so disturbing were H10 people all over the lounge area trying to sell us on H10 one morning I counted 8 of them. Then even after refusing they called my room in the morning. This was way to much, I think if you want repeat customers this should be stopped or cut back. I know personally because of that I sadly will not return.

Grand Sunset Princess: Good Resort

The rooms, public areas, pools were very clean, aesthetically, especially the common areas this resort was very beautiful. 98% of the staff were exceptionally helpful. The buffet restaurants were good with one being much better than the rest as it had a theme every night. The food was never hot and even when we went to the Chill Out Restaurant and paid extra for the seafood dinner, it was not very warm and got cold very fast, that was disappointing. The entertainment was great, although the main theatre was so cold that it was very uncomfortable in the beginning until more people came and then you body got used to the frigid temperature, we both actually came home with terrible colds. The music in the plaza bar was always great. As a whole the resort was a little too big for our liking and we spoke to many people who thought the same. Also the markings for the rooms were very poor so that it was easy to get lost , especially the first couple of days. I was surprised that our bathroom did not have any tissues, this is standard in most resorts/hotels. Also the common areas washrooms had no hook for the purse, again common in other resorts/hotels.Out of several hot tubs in the pool area, we did not have one that was working.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Akumal...Akumazing

Once again another awesome trip booked through Trip Central. If you are considering going to ABBWR do it. It was one of the best times we've had in Mexico. No load drunken party just amazing people, food, activities and snorkelling with the turtles.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: You decide for yourself!

This was our first time here but for one of the couples travelling with us this was their second. Upon our arrival we were met with our first disappointment - we had requested a second floor but got a first (that was not a big deal really) The second was that we requested a king size bed and got two doubles that we tried to put together (with the wall lamp in the centre of the wall - this was quite trying!) Had to be extremely cautious when moving in the bed. We did request a change and were ac [... read more]comodated a couple of days afterwards to a beautiful 3rd floor king size bed room. Issue there was that we needed an extension for a walll plug as my husband uses a sleep apnea machine (for breathing) that he could not use as the electricity doesnt seem to work when there is no movement in the room for a while. This could be fatal to some! The grounds on the resort were impeccable. Very well kept by staff on a daily basis. The staff was vbery courteous and always there if you needed them. The beach was for the most part good. You had to be very cautious upon entering due to rocks and certain areas were quite seeweedy. If you got yourself past that point you were good. The food was very good in most of the a la carte restaurants. The mediterannean was by far the best! Buffets were always well stocked and there was food a plenty at all times. The electricity went out for about 12 hours one day and the water was out for a few hours on another. From the group of six travellers 5 of us had contracted tourista. For both my husband and I this was a first. We have travel every year and have never experienced this issue before. The entertainment (the couple of times we attended) was not the best - we never returned. One big kudos does go the the Zumba instructor (on the beach) He was the best Zumba teacher that I have ever experienced. Service at the front desk was always courteous and staff were as helpful as they could be.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: The resort was beautiful

The food was well prepared and presentation fantastic at all our alacarts. The buffets had much variety of foods. Rooms clean A number of pools, large and clean Beach not so good at this Bhiah. Staff friendly

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great!!!

Had a fantastic time at the resort. Food was the best I've had at an all inclusive. The beach was perfect. Service above and beyond. Really enjoyed my time here and would return on my next visit to Mexico. Liked that we had full access to all resorts.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla

We just came back from Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla , and the ammenities were amazing staff was great and food was delish!!!! it was a tranquil spa. The Beach was gorgeaus and you had bar service on the beach which saved you a trip back and forth ! The gym was exquisitie and so was the spa I would definetly go back

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: A very nice resort but our first visit there was much better

We were without electricity for twelve hours and then had no water on another day for hours and the lobby was under repairs and the noise with the welding everyday was unacceptable and unbearable.Since We brought four new friends with us this time I was a little upset because I raved so much about my last visit there.But the rooms were great and the service unbeatable.Thank you.They even had super Zumba classes at the beach each day.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: We enjoyed the resort

The resort had large lovely rooms, we found the area to be clean and the food at the buffet very impressive. The staff were all so friendly and all seemed to enjoy children. We enjoyed the Caribbean restaurant and the Zen restaurant the best. We were a group of nine people and two of us for some odd reason were covered with mosquitoe bites (more like welts). We were told that we had been upgraded to a better room, we were very grateful for that but a little disappointed that only two of our roo [... read more]ms were together, one of our party's room was away from the other two, which made it slightly inconvenience at times with the kids. All in all we were happy with the resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful resort! Week in paradise

This resort is amazing, have returned 3 times in just over a year and still can't get enough! Each time we go and get more familiar with the grounds it gets better and better. Resort property is huge so it takes a bit of getting used too, best way to get around is the trolley service! You can pick them up at the front lobby or just as you are walking around. The food is great never disappointed in the buffet but it's great to change it up and make use of your a la carte restaurants as they are t [... read more]op notch. The Brazilian and le gormet are our 2 favourite. There are tons of excursions to chose from or hope in a 30 minute cab ride and you can get to downtown playa del Carmen for shopping and authentic Mexican food. You have access to this resort and also tulum (just take a trolley like stated earlier) so between the 2 you can change it up and go to different pools/parts of the beach all the time. There are kids splash pads and quieter pools for the families or you can go to the pools with the swim up bars, music playing and party games for the adults. The whole resort is kid friendly though. The wild life is my favourite part, no shortage of iguanas or coatis. The rooms are clean, well equipted and the air conditioning is nice and cool when you need to get out of the hot hot heat( yes it is extremely hot this time of the year). I have nothing to complain about this resort, staff is amazing as well. Don't forget to tip your servers for amazing friendly attentive service. Will definately return more then once.

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Fun holiday

Staff was amazing kind helpful. Hotel is beautiful, our room was in the 900 block which is right beside the adult pool. We really liked the preferred club very nice light snacks, drinks and coffee. Family pool was busy and louder but lots of activity to keep,you amused. It was so nice not to get up at 6 am to try to find a chair, there was always lots around. One very unexpected charge was ,as soon as we walked in they charged our card $300 damage charge immediately, which i think the agent [... read more] should have informed us about! This was not given back until after check out. It's very slippery grounds,I slipped my first day and saw numerous people thru the week slipping. Although our agent said she was there she was unaware of a lot of things.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Ok resort

We stayed for 1 week. We ended up very ill on the 3rd day of our stay and still continue to be sick 2 days after our return. Not sure if it was the resorts fault or not. Other than that, the resort was ok. The restaurants were not fantastic but they were not terrible either. The Italian was our favourite and El Goucho was probably our least favourite. The wait staff around the preferred club pool were fantastic! David was amazing. He always brought us a drink as soon as he saw us. He always had a smile on his face and was joking around. It never felt as though he was brushing you off to run and do his job. It was great for the extra personal touch. The rooms were basic rooms. We stayed preferred adult only section. We had our room cleaned every day and every day except the last, where someone else did it, it was amazing. She did a wonderful job. We even ended up with a couple of towel art on the bed which were great. The ice machine was broke so we had to call front desk for some and they delivered quickly. We called room service with no luck but when we called guest services we got what we wanted right away. Just a side note for anyone calling, call 36 not 0. The grounds were always clean and tidy. There are a bunch of cats here. If you don't like cats, stay away! There was something for everyone though. Piles of stuff to do and if you were bored, it was your own fault. I would not return, but I would not return to any resort I've been to because the possibilities are endless and why go to the same old one when you can explore new places each time. Just my opinion. I would recommend the preferred club adult only if you can. The beach section is nicer and the buffet is a must. The time share garbage is terrible!!!
