Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

The hotel and the whole resort was wonderful. Lots of choices at the buffets. Staff in all areas were pleasant, and treated us like royalty. We would have prefer to pick our a la cartes ourselves as two were picked prior to us arriving.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Truly a 5* Resort

My husband + I have vacationed in Caribbean many times + without doubt in all categories the Amber comes out on top!! We've stayed at Bahia resorts in Punta Cana before(at this complex) + enjoy all they have to offer their guests!!! Secrets Royal Beach: Awesome Resort. Good Time!!!

Secrets Royal beach was perfect. The grounds were impeccable, the beach was AMAZING, the service was on point and the atmosphere was just what we needed. If you wanted to chill out you could and if you wanted to get involved in the activities, there was plenty to choose from. My favourite part was the foam party. What an excellent ideas for adults. I would highly recommend this resort.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Mostly good with a few annoyances

I traveled in a group of six...ages 3-51 years. I booked three rooms on the phone with Jenn B instead of online as I wanted to make sure we got two rooms that were connecting rooms. We walked over a mile in both directions and truly feel the Iberostar Beach is the best in that area. The resort is aged but the rooms are kept clean. I read the resort will be closed for two months in Fall 2016. The pool layout is good with some zero entry areas but could use some maintenance (missing tiles, loose ladders, etc.) The main issues were all of us losing our wifi connection 4-5x a day and inconsistent hot water daily. We were planning on using wifi on our phones/ iMessage to keep in contact with each other. It seemed like every day, the wifi would die around 2:30pm for an hour. The hot water we had maintenance come twice. I guess we were turning the faucet on the wrong way...which was not communicated the two times maintenance came (because the maintenance crew only spoke Spanish and we barely speak Spanish). On day three, we ended up having a manager come and go over the things wrong in each room. We were told for the hot water...While the faucet is off, you have to turn the dial to fully hot and then turn the water/shower on. After it runs a bit, you can adust the temperature to warmer. We were just turning it on in the middle and trying to adjust (how every other shower faucet I have used in my lifetime). It makes no sense to me but we did take warmer showers after that. Maybe it's a water pressure thing of priming the hot water. We were not the only people with this hot water problem so Iberstar should put signs up around the faucet. This is like a rating of 4.2 / 5 resort...if they sort these issues out, a bit more (4.5)

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Best resort ever

Friendly staff, amazing service and location. Can't wait to go back. Have had many beach vacations but this was the best one we have ever taken. The whole experience was the best. The only problem was that the rep was not there for the scheduled meeting.

This was our 4th trip to Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Punta Cana. We love the resort, the choice in pools, the wonderful restaurants that you don't have to book for, the friendly staff and the fun times at the Casino

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: exceptional service

I just returned and I have to say it was the best resort I've been to yet. The service was exceptional , the resort was beautiful, the food was fantastic , the people very friendly and helpful and everything everywhere was clean from the beach to the rooms to the food areas.I would like to note that our concierges Melania and Mary went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. All of the ladies at the entrance of the buffet were such a pleasure to see every morning and the waiters inside  [... read more]were very attentive. Plan on returning.

Occidental Punta Cana: Needs work

We were suppose to have a separate check-in desk. Noone was working there so we had to wait in the lineup for 30 mins + to get checked in. Staff was not very friendly. Resort was nice. The room we had was a good size. Very dated. Lights with cords cut off or no bulbs. Broken drawers. Couch was dirty. Bathroom was large but needed some updating as well. Tub was dirty. Lots of bugs. Power went out in the building (not the resort) one night. About 5 hours before it came back on. Two nights in a row [... read more] we had no water from approx. 1am-7am. Was not impressed with this. Went to customer service area to see what they could do and they turned us away. Buffet - food was pretty good. Service was not. Most days we had to keep pestering just to get a glass of water. Most of the restaurants were the same as well. It seemed like the only ones who got service were the groups of ladies. The Steak restaurant was the exception. Food was delicious and the serivice was outstanding! Lobby bar - would it hurt you to smile? Always felt like we were bothering them when ording a drink. Waited over 20 mins (with tip in hand) one night to order a drink. Gave up and went to the bar by the theatre. The guys are that beach bar we always great! Smiling and always friendly! They always has a long line of people but you never waited long to get served. Late night pizza - AWESOME!!! Overall we still had a nice relaxing time. The beach was nice, the pools were nice. The layout of the resort was nice. We walked around it a lot during our stay.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Nice resort, needs some improvements

Beautiful resort! Rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. Front staff could be a little more friendlier. Pool area and restaurants are wonderful! A few more lounge chairs would be nice on the beach to avoid a 6:00am rise to get one

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: 3.5 Star at Best..

Overal the resort is need of a refresh. Old Towels, Old Bed Linens, Tired and limited buffet. Not enough lounge chairs. Dingy Bathrooms. Small snack bar. The kids water park and Air Travel with AirTransat where the best part of our trip.

TRS Turquesa: Beautiful Resort with very accommodating staff

The grounds are well maintained and the beach area spacious and beautiful. Each room is a suite and very modern and clean. The food was delicious with plenty of variety. The staff were friendly and accommodating. 2016 was our third time back and we can easily see ourselves returning in 2017.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Amazing Vacation!

Hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept! Beach is AMAZING no complaints. Staff are excellent and very helpful if you had questions. Drinks, pools and disco were great. Food was okay - I didn't eat the meat but there were tons of other options every day. Japanese A La carte was the best, we ate there 4 times in the week! Would go back again for sure.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Dream come true at dreams

Mature grounds, well kept gardens and pools, excellent facilities, everything clean and in good working order. .Never crowded. Moderate size but all areas easily accessible. Staff friendly and well versed in a variety of languages. Fodd and beverages were excellent.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Best Resort Ever!!

This was my 8th holiday to D.R.and the best!!! All round best resort,very smooth check in.Only 2 small issues,which really didn`t effect my husband and I too much. 1 -You are not directly on the beach,but not very far away!! 2 -There seems to be a long wait at the bars,especially in the evening while waiting for a restaurant,the bar set up is pretty disorganized!!The good points far outway these 2 small issues. 1-The whole resort is staffed with very friendly people,the nicest in the D.R.so far. [... read more] 2 -Everything is spotless,rooms,grounds,pools,restaurants. 3 -Food was awesome,anything you wanted,plenty of it. 4 -Definitly will return to Memories Splash!!! Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Perfect Family Vacation

I spent one week at this resort along with my sister and parents - April 6-13/16. We stayed in rooms 2102 and 2105 which were very nice rooms and great location because of proximity to beach and pool. I have stayed at several resorts in the D.R. and would have to rate this one as one of the best. The grounds at the resort were absolutely beautiful. I would recommend this resort to anyone and I plan to return.

Everything there was great but the airport was not good they took my Ecig, around $300 worth of stuff it said not to have them in my carry on so i had them in my check bag and they called us back to check our bags and they opened it and took all my stuff,wish my agent or at lease someone could have told me about this,i left from Toronto and there wasn't a problem at all they looked at them in my carry on and didn't say a word.

Grand Palladium Palace: Amazing Resort

Resor is amazing. Food is awesome. Service is fine, just like everywhere else, if you missed something, you need hustle to get it. Beach is amazing. Second time here, it was perfect as always. I do recommend this resort to all my friends and family.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Awesome resort

This was our 3rd trip to Catalonia Royal. .....everything seems to get better each time .this year the new Thai restaurant.....delicious All your restaurants are superb. .and that is so important with an all. Inclusive. We will.be back next year for sure and maybe sooner if the resort can give us a deal..love to go for 10. Days

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: worst vacation in 20 years

The only good thing was the food.hotel was way to big in the middle of nowhere,staff not friendly,98 percent of the staff never spoke English,[I know i'm in another country but staff should be able to speak some English knowing 90 percent on vacation speak English] rooms outdated,they let time share people try to sell to you on the resort,I've been going on vacation for 20 years and I'm not very hard to please and never write a review but had to on this one.I truly think I wasted my money and ti [... read more]me.
