Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Relaxing, Laid Back Holiday

This is a small and basic laid back all inclusive with a strong Mexican feel. If you're accustomed to a five star luxury hotel, you may be disappointed. The rooms are plain but clean. Food is excellent with A La Carte Mexican, and Steak House restaurants. The beach is busy but the vendors are respectful. The Beach Club offers a beautiful, quiet clear water beach. Perfect holiday if you are looking for a comfortable, clean and accommodating resort. We had a wonderful relaxing week. The staff and guests were friendly - no pretences or pressure to dress or behave a certain way - you could just be your self and enjoy the Mexican sun and hospitality. Third time visitor.

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Awesome hotel!

We really loved this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. Certainly will come back again and recommend it to family and friends.Many activities to enjoy: something for everybody! Impressed with what they have set up for the kids as well. The grounds are beautiful, the pools amazing, and a great beach as well. We enjoyed both a la cartes: the food was delicious. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Excellent resort

Lots of activities included. Different restaurants, very nice food. Very good service. The beach is kind of rocky, but bring the appropriate shoes so you can enjoy. Anyways, there are many other things to enjoy your time there.

Secrets Aura Cozumel: A disappointment for a Secret's branded resort.

The resort was smaller and bit dated but overall was pretty clean. First impressions were not favourable. On arrival, we were not greeted by any welcome staff. Rooms were not provided as requested. Seemed to be a shortage of dishware in buffet - no side dishes, no bowls - only large dinner plates. Made it difficult with soup and cereals. Also seemed to be shortage of wait staff in buffet. Restaurants were very good. Pools and pool side service was very good. As noted by others Aura Cozumel se [... read more]emed to be "the poor cousin" of the Secret's Resorts.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Great week

My wife and I just returned from Las Brisas and had a great time!! Weather was great, food was good, room was spacious and clean and the bed was one of the best I have slept on. The staff were friendly and worked hard. The 3 beaches were great and the beach waiters did a great job keeping our glasses full!! Great idea as well to provide water bottles on the beach. Would go back again.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: The Perfect Resort!

Where to begin! From the day we arrived it was paradise. The employees were always kind and helpful and would go out of their way to make your stay as excellent as possible. One fellow in particular, Marcello, who is a drink server on the beach was about the hardest working person I've ever met! He was so amazing! Luis in the Amarento Buffet was also always accommodating and even organized special beer pairings with dinners made especially for us by the phenomenal chef Roberto. The food in the b [... read more]uffet is excellent, with a wide variety for everyone. I have Celiac's Disease and they were very considerate of this. We brought our two children, and there are so many activities for them to do, including a kids club if the parents want some alone time. The pools are great, and so is the beach. I would recommend this resort to anyone!

Las Palmas by the Sea: Awesome resort

The resort was fantastic good meals good bed the staff were second to none location was excellent only con about the whole trip was the shower being hot and cold but it's livable GREAT JOB las palmas We will be back

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Nice Place, Beach Disappointing.

The room was fine, but seems due for an upgrade. We had a Superior Ocean View Room, and were initially given two small- very hard, almost double size beds. When we requested a change, we were moved to a room with a King sized bed. The bed was still a little hard, and the pillows were well used, but the linens were clean. The pools, restaurants, and food in general, were all great. The staff was also awesome. There was no swimming in the ocean because of the very dangerous undertow. The water  [... read more]in this area is not very warm in March, and the beach was also not that great to walk on due to the slope and deeper sand than usual. We missed snorkelling, boogie boarding and swimming. Finally, there wasn't as much to do and see in this area, as we have experienced in other parts/ resorts in Mexico.

Catalonia Playa Maroma: Disappointing and then average

We booked at the Catalonia Maroma. We were extremely disappointed with our room. It was old and grimy, dirty curtains, tiny bathroom, dingy, mattresses very old. We paid for the upgrade which cost us an additional220.00 and they had no upgraded rooms so we had to move resorts to the Catalonia Maya. The grounds were nice and the beach beautiful however, no palapa or palm trees for shade. The staff were very friendly. At the riviera the room was nice and staff very friendly. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Beautiful Bahía principe

This resort is very grand, the lobby and grounds are spectacular. We found that the service was professionally carried out by pleasant employees. The swimming pools are kept immaculate with no shortage of lounge chairs palapas and towels for comfort. We were delighted to be so close to the beach when we didn’t want to be by the pools. There was an amazing variety of cocktails available at the bar and a 24 hour snack bar by the beach which had a delicious assortment of foods as well as drinks [... read more]. The very well trained staff aimed to please and were always pleasant. The a la Carte restaurants provided an elegant change from the buffet restaurants; must book these in advance, well worth the short time it takes. I was a little disappointed with some of the evening entertainment and very disappointed that we had to pay for the great Mexican event in an all inclusive package. I was glad that I didn’t have to walk everywhere as the resort provides internal transport which is available readily. In our room we could hear some noise from the pool, but not enough to disturb us and never at night. I noticed that programs were provided for children and thought it would be a lovely safe resort to take my grandchildren to. Perhaps we will bring them with us next time.

Riu Santa Fe: Beautiful...but a little busy

Grounds were clean ,rooms were clean, restaurants offered a lot of selections ,we went during spring breaker time and we found they were a little under staffed with long line ups for drinks and busy lunch and dinners other than that beautiful resort

Temptation Resort & Spa: Always a good time!

Temptations is the play ground for adults and it lives up to that. No one under 21 and a sexy fun adult vibe. The play makers during the day keep the party going at the sexy pool or you can choose to chill on the beach or by the quiet pool. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and only 2 require a reservation. We have visited this resort 5 times and we meet so many amazing people. Everyone you meet are repeat visitors or first timers that say "we are definitely coming back". No other resort seem [... read more]s to keep the fun going day and night like this resort. At night they have an open air bar that has a great show the last about 45 minutes the it turns into a party place. There is also night time food and they stay open as long as you want to party. They also have a spa, water sports and a coffee shop. We have stayed in a garden view, ocean vie and this last time in Bash tower. Rooms are clean, beds comfy and black out drapes to help you sleep in if you stayed up late!

Grand Riviera Princess: Incredible Resort

We just got back from 9 days at the Grand Riviera Princess. What a wonderful experience. This is our second trip in five years and we were thrilled to find the resort in excellent condition still. The pools are beautiful and there are party pool, quiet pools, swim up bars, a pirate ship pool for kids. There is a beautiful beach and the hotel does a great job keeping on top of the seaweed. The water is warm and there are many available loungers and bars and games to be played on the beach. Our ro [... read more]om was grand and perfectly serviced. We ate at different restaurants in the resort every night. We enjoyed the gym daily and loved the Pilates classes.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Amazing holiday!

This was our family’s first time at an all inclusive & we absolutely loved it! There are so many amenities for families & kids of all ages. You can be as relaxed or as active as you want! The resort & location is beautiful. Amazing holiday!

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Not your typical Secrets

I had stayed at 4 Secrets prior to booking Aura Cozumel. I am a huge fan of the brand. This resort, however, was not quite up to the standard of the other Secrets Resorts. This location was purchased from Wyndham 8 years ago and not all rooms are renovated - many are out dated. It definitely needs a facelift. The staff was pleasant - but the service was fairly slow. Restaurant options are limited compared to other Secrets - but the food was good quality. This resort is nice - but if you have bee [... read more]n to other Secrets properties, it will not compare. If you have never been to a Secrets, don’t judge them based on this resort. Overall I would say it is 4 stars at best.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Good resort

Overall experience was good. Cleanliness, staff and facility maintenance was in good shape. Need to include more of Vegetarian food as most of the vegetarian food has some sort of meat/fish in it so hard to find vegetarian food without meat. We had to request to Chef to cook food for us and they were friendly enough to make food for our choices but missing some spices to make it more tastier.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: FANTASTIC RESORT

Grounds were beautiful, Entertainment awesome, choice for food restaurants was amazing, although very busy and long waits for tables. Priority given to the Diamond Club. Many people not in that club were not happy . Beach was OK not wonderful, seaweed along shoreline. water was a bit murky and rough Rooms were amazingly modern , clean and well equipped. Service was friendly and willing to help in any way to make stay enjoyable. Late check in was a bit of a hassle as we were left to fend f [... read more]or ourselves until 3pm. Sunwing flight to and from was smooth and informative, friendly and on time !.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good for kids, but less so for adult groups!

Although I know many people have had good experiences at this resort, ours was, unfortunately, not great. We arrived and our rooms weren’t to our specifications. My sister and I had requested two double beds, but were given a single king. The couple we were traveling with had requested to not be on the first floor, but were. We spent hours waiting for them to fix this, and they never did. We walked around the buffet searching for seats and after 3 times around still had no seat, and no one of [... read more]fered to help. We’re honestly not hard to please (we had an amazing time at a resort in Cuba last year), but I guess we got off to a rough start and things didn’t improve. I know many people report that the service is really great, but this was not our experience. We actually ended up paying an “upgrade” fee so we could move to Bahia Principe Tulum. For whatever reason, our experience at Tulum was MUCH better and the service was excellent! I would recommend Tulum for sure, and I’m sure I could travel to Coba another time and have a totally different experience, but it really is for kids, so I likely wouldn’t unless traveling with children. I said I’d recommend as I enjoy this group of Bahia resorts, but would recommend the different resorts to different groups of people.

The Reef Coco Beach: Great small clean Resort

The resort is a small but very well kept.We enjoy smaller ones to begin with.They are cleaning all the time.The entertainment was good every night. All restaurants had a variety of things you could eat and we're good. Beach was very clean a little small but very cozy,if you like to go out far to swim because boats were anchored off shore

I give this resort a 10 out of 10 rooms are very clean staff were great food was good lots to choose from pool very clean beach was small but cozy boats in the water was great to look at being a fisherman intertamment was intertaining
