Riu Lupita: Very good resort

This resort is quite nice. Don't get fooled by the photo as the beach is at RIU Palace. The shuttle runs every half hour until 6pm. The staff is so professional. RIU Lupita is exceptionally clean. The only problem: the main pool - water way too hot. The rooms are super clean. The beds are comfortable and the linens are crisp white. Please note that there is no radio clock, no coffee machine and no iron and board in the room. It was quite challenging to get an iron. No washing machine o [... read more]n premises. We had requested a room on the main level but gave us a room on the second level. They apologized but was too late. The food was excellent so was the service. Daily activities around the pool are basic. Music somewhat boring. We took the free shuttle to 5Th Avenue every evening and came back by taxi. This resort is very safe as you have to show ID bracelet before entering RIU Lupita. Remember - you get what you pay for but this was a nice getaway for 6 days.

Grand Sunset Princess: it was a relaxing place. The pools were wonderful and relaxing. you can be with the crowd and you can swim and relax without feeling board or tired. the food was good and the rooms clean and big..

rooms were clean and well organized. the activities not bad, need variety of activities not only for adults but for children too. lots of walking which is not bad, good exercise. lots of stairs and not much elevators specially at the Lobby where the theater, some restaurants and the WiFi. where we are tired to go up. The resort and the pools are clean always I like to go back for the pools but not the stairs.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Wonderful Getaway for 2!

As soon as we arrived we were greeted with the simple phrase of "Welcome Home", and from that moment on the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and relaxed our entire trip. The grounds and pools were exceptionally clean and the food was beyond our wildest dreams. Every meal was better then the next. We also enjoyed the lovely surprises our Royal Service Butler provided to celebrate my partner's birthday; balloons, a hot tub for two, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. This was the best trip in my books and I couldn't have asked for anything more. This hotel set the bar high and I will be a repeat customer in the near future for sure.

Riu Tequila: riu tequila

Fantastic beach with perfect balance of shallow and deep water. Clear water and clean beach. Great for a long walk on white soft sand. Excellent , huge restaurant on the beach . Enough beach chairs and natural shade. Riu Tequila is definitely outdated , but still good compare to the price. 800m walk to the beach. The only complaints , there is only one beach shuttle which doesn't even goes the whole day.

The only complaints ,the hotel is 800m walk to the beach and there is only one beach shuttle which doesn't even goes the whole day.

Ocean Maya Royale: Amazing resort!

Service and food were the best part, best I've had in all inclusive. There was water front and beach but a board walk took more then half of the beach area. That's my only complaint, overall my gf and I had a wonderful time

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

Definetly the best resort where we have been. It is our 10th consecutive year in Mexico- we go twice per year- never back to the same resort. This would be the first one where we would go back again and again and again....The pools are a dream- nice, clean...huge...and warm; the beach is absolutely perfect. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Good resort

Very nice resort! Clean, lots of great food choices, good pool and night entertainment. The Mexican a la carte was the best!!! However, we were very disappointed with the beach!! It was full of seaweed!! Had to go couple of resorts down to swim in the ocean 😞

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Grand resort agreable

Les lits n'étaient pas confortables du tout... la plage est belle mais parfois rocailleuse. Vaut mieux apporter des souliers d'eau. Les gens de l'hôtel sont très aimables et soucieux de notre bien être. Difficile de faire la réservation des restaurants. Les plus populaires étaient déjà remplis à notre arrivée.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Simple resort...but not a nice beach

Love the simplicity of the resort. Staff was amazing, especially Luis at black and white, food was excellent, clean resort, and overall great place. The rooms were simple and bathroom was beautiful! However the beach isn't anything special so I'd you are looking for a nice beach area this wouldn't be a recommendation.

HM Playa del Carmen: Great hotel with perfect location!

The hotel was modern and clean. Staff were super friendly and very helpful! Loved the pool area and bar area. Rooms were very clean but a bit stark. Dimmers would make all the difference in the eve. Location was so close to 5th ave, restaurants and beaches! breakfast buffet was delicious!! Excellent omelettes and smoothies!!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Awesome Experience

The hotel was really great.Food was awesome.If you don't want to go out from the resort , you still will have lots of fun. They have many activities and night show everyday. The staffs are hardworking but welcoming with a smile on their face all the time.We had a little issue with out washroom but it was fixed right away ( I am not complaining rather I am trying to say how great their customer service is!) Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Wonderful family vacation!

We had a fantastic week at the Luxury Grand Bahia Principe Akumal! The guests from the other resorts could not use our facilities, but we had the option of going to all the other Bahia Principe resorts like Coba and Tulum. Everything at this resort, from beginning to end was great! The resort grounds are beautiful and well kept and the food and service was excellent. All the staff could not do more for us to make our stay special. The beach was wonderful and had many areas to swim. Our daughter  [... read more]was very safe swimming and snorkeling in the lagoon style areas. The water was so clear with hundreds of fish swimming around us. The pools were clean and we spent most of the time at the infinity pool. Drinks were good, nightly entertainment good too. This was probably one of the best vacations we have had in terms of everything being just perfect. We would go back to this resort again if we had the chance.

Grand Sunset Princess: Beautiful

The hotel it's huge and beautiful and the beach it's really nice as well. The stuffs they are hard worker they are try to do the best for you! Anyone can say negative comments about any hotels or resorts if they want! I will do not because I have a such a good time and a wonderful memories! So this hotel my high recommend who never been there! Real five star!

Tukan Hotel Playa Del Carmen: A basic hotel in the middle of everything

This is a great place for singles on a short stay. We didn't spent more time than necessary in the hotel and it served its purpose of bed and shower base. Air conditioning worked, and it was the only thing that matters for us. There are so many cool place to eat, drink, swim and dance in the area that hotel was just a place to store our stuff. This is not an all inclusive type hotel, so everything you need for life you should bring yourself (bottled water, hair dryer, hair conditioner, beach tow [... read more]els and a good sense of humour).

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great resort with a couple of cons

Pros: - best food I have had an all inclusive, so many choices of restaurants - loved the beach for kids. Calm, fishes, shallow Cons: - far from airport -air conditioning poor in rooms - not enough umbrellas by the pools

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort!

This resort is beautiful with amazing pools and great food. The seafood, Japanese and Italian a la carte restaurants were especially delicious. Even the buffet had many amazing choices for all types of eaters. The carts that take you to the beach were very frequent and quick. We never had to worry about waiting. Beach or hacienda - equally as efficient transport. All around good place for a couple of first time all inclusive travellers. Recommend!

Grand Riviera Princess: Great family resort

Convinient for family with kids, good food, a lot of space fo walk, good beach, clean We got swim out room which is awesome for parents who has infants. Huge selection of drinks . Nice evening program.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Resort was beautiful, service was hit or miss.

My boyfriend and I travelled from June 9-16 2016. I had done my research on this resort prior to booking so I was aware that this was not a beach front property and trolley service was required. For those going to just the beach and back, I am sure it was adequate but we also had family staying in Tulum, so for us, it was a lot of trekking around. At night, we sometimes had 4 trolleys meant for our resort drive right past us without stopping so a normal 15 minute trip turned into an hour. This  [... read more]became frustrating. At one point, we asked for a trolley ride from the lobby to our room because my boyfriend had issues with his ankle and we were told we had to walk next time. The manager on duty Luisio was super helpful and reached out immediately to resolve the situation. The gesture for his resolution was much appreciated. It would have been nice though if they honored the time they told us to come back. My boyfriend lost 3 hours of beach time because the room wasn't ready at 2:30pm like we were advised. This part was a bit frustrating because as a result we were almost late for dinner reservations for a 20th anniversary dinner. Besides the trolley issue, the resort itself was beautiful and clean. The food was delicious at the Alux and both Victor's at this restaurant were amazing. We also had the pleasure of dealing with Hector at the service desk. We spent a lot of our time with family at Tulum so I can't really comment on the bar service or pools etc.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Best value

The hotel staff were amazing - in all hotels. the Transport crew on the the trolleys go way beyond the proverbial extra mile. Sian Kaan is spectacular - peace and quiet exactly what you need to relax and recharge. Food in Buffets and a la carte - DELICIOUS - deserve 5 star rating.
