Grand Palladium Palace: GOOD RESORT BUT..

Grounds and pool areas are great. Food was average. Rooms were OK but the newer renovated rooms have poorly designed bathtubs that leak into the bedroom. No adjoining rooms anywhere, which we had requested. Their idea of an adjoining room is two rooms next to each other but none connect directly. Three of four of us were sick at the end of the trip even though we never touched the local water.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Best Punta Cana vacation yet!

This was my third stay in Punta Cana and I have to say I have never been happier. Staying at the Grand Bahia Principe Esmeralda was an extreme pleasure. The grounds were immaculate, the food was fantastic and the service was incomparable to any of the other resorts I had stayed in in Dominican, along with Cancun and Cuba. This is by far my favourite resort and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away to Punta Cana. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Good overall experience

Overall, we had a good experience. Our group was a total of 21, parents and teenagers. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The food was above average. The staff were very friendly and engaging. The rooms are in need of upgrading, especially the bathrooms. In my opinion, this hotel rates 4 stars.

TRS Turquesa: fabulous resort

Excellent resort, great location, well maintained. Staff was professional, friendly, willing to help and provided excellent service. Beach was fabulous and was kept clean. Lots of shade for the hot sunny days.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Medeioker

Poor service at restaurants and bar service even with tipping. We booked restaurants 2 weeks before arrival from recommendations from an on line review and not our travel agent. There weren't any reservations available upon arrival. $1000us resort credit totally misleading, it is a coupon for 10% or 25% off some services and shops. Free golf is also rediculous. $70US per person for mandatory cart. We took 4 sets of golf clubs with us and just the two adults did one round. It would have cost us $ [... read more]400 cancaian for our family to do a free round of golf. A lot of activities for the kids were not included and cost extra, bowling, water park. Front desk at checkin did not give us any info on resort activities, water, ect and the AT rep did not do this in his orientation, we were there a couple of days before finding the activities center. There 24 hours before we were told the tap water wasn't safe. No menus for specialty drinks at bars and the wine is absolute trash! White wine at one of the bars was actually cloudy and poured from a plastic jug. Even purchasing a bottle at the resturant would have cost $60 can. For a $12 bottle. Have to be at pool before 7 am to get a beach chair. For a trip that cost $10,000!!! I expected more!!!

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Nice resort

The resort was well maintained and clean. The service was adequate. Food was not exceptional but good and many choices. The maid service was marvellous. Any problems or concerns were dealt with immediately. The resort was adult only and was peaceful.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Sick as a dog

Both my husband and I were extremely ill on two different occasions. Food poisoned (did not eat food off resort or drink the water). Put us in the furthest hotel with a 5 month old and had to constantly lug everything back and forth and the elevators were always broken. So we had to both carry he stroller up and down the stairs. Never had clean towels ( they would take the towels and not being new ones ) Costantly harassed to buy stuff on the resort. Couldn't even sit without being bothered ( [... read more]time shares, jewelery, excursions) Tons of drunk teenagers puking and fighting mid day. Not family friendly. Food wasn't good. Ate fries and pizza the entire stay Would not return here.

Grand Palladium Palace: Great Resort!!

This was my second year in a row at this resort and I really enjoyed it once again...I especially like the fact that you stay at one and play at three...Each lobby has different entertainment every night with a variety of music..The grounds are impeccable, the pools and beach are beautiful with never any lack of beach chairs. A good selection of restaurants with the Japanese being by far the best...My only complaint here would be that you cannot reserve in advance...The buffets had a good select [... read more]ion however I don't believe they have enough staff to cover the amount of tables. Not arriving as soon as the buffet opened, we rarely walked in and found a clean table that was cleanly set with cutlery and napkins...Disco and sports bar are very enjoyable and the service was excellent...I would recommend this resort and not hesitate to go back..

Pros. -Great food selection -Lots of Gluten free / Celiac choices -Friendly staff -Royal golden section conciger changed my room within 5 minute when I had an issue with my room (water flooded from a toilet) Cons -Gym could use some work (but who cares about working out on vacation?!) -Too many sales people on beach trying to sell junk (not a huge deal it is to be expected) -Some bars ran out of certain types of liquor randomly

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: The Hard Rock Punta Cana Rocks!!!

The best family trip we ever had. The resort caters to all age groups, especially young teens!!! Excellent service, clean and safe! The nightly entertainment was great, there was always something to do! We loved it!

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: amazing resort

The grounds are beautiful and well kept.The pool and and beach areas are kept very clean.The food was well presented and always a huge assortment.The staff was pleasant and always tried to please.Had a great time.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Perfect Winter Getaway!

The Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda was the perfect resort to go relax and be catered too. We had a great time. The rooms we had were just as we had requested, clean and comfortable. The resort was manicured beautifully and the staff were second to none. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Everything about this resort is 1st class

Buildings, grounds, food and the staff are superb. Our room was very central to the beach and restaurants. Buffet breakfast and dinner at the Ambar 2 were well prepared and the variety was fantastic. We love the beach and the long walks that you could take.

The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana: Great Anniversary

Have stayed at this hotel 5 times before but this was the first time at the Reserve. Upgrade was certainly worth the extra $. Obviously we like the place since we have stayed there so many times-- good food, great staff and our bar runners on the beach

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Great Resort, Beach, Vacation

The beach here is awesome. Long white beach, Palm trees almost to the water. Lots of chairs and Shade-huts. Workers are always very accommodating and smiling. Food was great always something for someone. Love the Mexican Al le Carte.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Amazing resort

Stayed at the Bavaro Palladium resort in Punta Cana. Newer buildings chose Roof Top Terrace . Sixth time on property. William at Palace pool bar is the best plus Alex, Carmen, Giselle, Carlos, Marylus

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Better than expected - excellent

Grounds were beautifully kept and very clean, staff could not do enough for you, rooms clean, food very good, pool and beach excellent, lots of restaurant choices, beautiful local language, drinks good.

Grand Palladium Palace: Nice resort

I enjoy resort but was vert disappointed with my room. Paid extra for junior suite and was just a evert day room that I've had at other resorts. Our travelling friends who had a regular room had a nicer room than we did

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Fantastic Week

Wonderful stay this past week at the Esmeralda. Accommodations, food, service and weather were all top notch. The resort was much quieter and more relaxing than the adjacent Bahia Principe resorts and was very much geared towards a family experience.

Ver clean resort right by the beach. This is a small resort so you are close to everything. It is part of 4 other resorts that you can access for those that like bigger resorts. Beach is awesome. Service is excellent. Food is fantastik. Must try the new Brazilian restaurant!! Would definitely return to this resort.
