Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Good Resort

This was my second time at Casa Marina in a year. They are diligently working on the renovations and it's looking good. Food is good for a resort and I really like the layout of Casa Marina. The biggest downfall of this resort is the service, very frustrating and ultimately will most likely be the reason I dont return. That said, the price is right and it's worth a visit.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: wonderful trip

This was my first trip loved the ambiance and the staff was exceptional loved the close proximity to the beach.the food was very good a wide range plenty variety of it .If you went hungry it was your own fault.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Absolutely fabulous!

We loved the luxurious clean grounds and rooms with jacuzzi, the staff was super friendly and eager to please. The beds could have been more comfortable however the over all experience was wonderful. We plan on returning in 2 years or so.

Riu Republica: Excellent Resort!

This is an excellent resort. This resort is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and a good size with a balcony. The mini bar is restocked every second day and the reception desk freely gives out bottled water for your room if you run out. The buffets and restaurants had great food. Love the idea of no reservations! There are plenty of pools to suit every type of vacation from quiet to party pools. Our beach did not have a seaweed problem like some of the other resorts. All the staff were great, but some go above and beyond like Alison and Roberto our waiters in the Buffet and Chocolate of the Animation Team. I would recommend this resort.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Disappointed

We went to Barcelo resort in Maya Revira last year and was quite enjoy the hotel. We thought stick to the same resort chain just to be safe. This time we are quite disappointed at Punta Cana Barcelo Babaro Palace: there are flies chasing the food at buffet, and we have to fight with flies at dinner table for our utensils and glasses. Either of us are drinkers, we were hoping to enjoy some good dining at this five star hotel, I have to say that the restaurant food are not impressive either.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Mirage Club Section Excellence

Had a great 2 week stay Nov.. 9 - 23rd.2018 Pool and grounds very clean and maintained by excellent staff that were meticulous at their job. Great food / drink selection, top line alcohol choices - Sports bar, French, Italian, Japanese, Steakhouse and Buffet. Food was sometimes cold for my taste but they corrected it then and there. Also every main meal the staff took notes on what to improve in service. They are trying very hard to maintain excellent service. Kept in touch every day and were available by text anytime. My wife and I highly recommend this place.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: dont go to this hotel hard rock hotel puntacana

service from the hotel sucks big time manages do not care about Canada or usa people rooms stink musty damp wet stinks back up all the time food is just ok not 5 star pools are good room service good not to go to this hotel if you want a 5 star go els where hard rock puntacana should take a page out to learn how to deal with customers that pay holiday money not to stand and beg for help

Grand Palladium Palace: Awesome resort!

Everything is close so it is perfect for anyone with mobility issues. It’s wonderful to not have to pre-book restaurants also. The beach is amazing! We have been there 4 times and don’t even bother looking for a different resort.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Way more than I expected. Fabulous!

This hotel was super clean, the staff were really friendly and most had a good grasp of English. They were also eager to please you and any requests were completed in a timely fashion. Our butler Jacobs was so great. He was totally ready to help us with any request we asked of him and would check in with us regularly to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. The food was very good not only in the a la carte restaurants but also at the buffets. The hotel totally lived up to our ex [... read more]pectations. The only complaint were the hair dryers. They ran too hot and would shut down after a couple of minutes. I suggest you bring your own from home. We did comment about them and they are aware of the problem and were looking into replacing them. Overall, Majestic Mirage is the best hotel we have ever stayed at in the Dominican and we have stayed in a lot over the years.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: amazing but the food was not!

everything was great, people, rooms, ground, the only complaint is the food, it was not hot! it was only warm. and it was silly that we could only go to 3 al la carte!. buffet food was not good. disappointed in that, and the beaches were covered in seaweed, that might have been the weather though.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful resort!!

We had a fantastic stay! Rooms are very clean and fridge was stocked every day. Food was excellent & lots of different choices. Japanese restaurant was great. Pools were always clean and the service at the buffet, bars, lobby etc. was excellent. Would definitely go back.

Casa Marina Reef Resort: It feels like home!!

This was my sixth time at Casa Marina and it never fails to impress. The close proximity to town as well as Playa Sosua are a bonus, but it is the staff and the service that is the best thing about this resort! There is such a warm atmosphere there and the staff treat you like family. No question that I would recommend this resort and that I will be back!!

Casa Marina Reef Resort: Can’t wait to go back!

I was very impressed with the lovely and very friendly staff. I enjoyed the grounds very much, it is nothing short of beautiful. The new dining area amd buffet room was gorgeous. Despite some of the rooms needing some renovations, the room overall was very clean and maintained well by the cleaning staff. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. I will most certainly be returning!!!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Large resort

The grounds of the hotel are very beautiful and well kept. The room was nice and the bathroom was large. The food was okay. The beach had major seaweed on it and in the water. The resort was very clean.

Occidental Caribe: Fabulous time in Punta Cana!!

People were all wonderful, drinks were great and plentiful, rooms were clean and well kept, pools were absolutely glorious, shows and performers were very enjoyable, pool side entertainment was tons of fun, ocean and beaches were breathtaking, food was okay.... reservation restaurants were good, however, buffet not the greatest.. was always able to find something to eat though. Paradisus Punta Cana: Ups and downs at Paradisus

We had a great time but would not return to this resort and here’s why: Upon arriving, the front desk clerk immediately tried to sell us a 700$ upgrade for ‘royal service’. We were told that without this upgrade we would not be allowed to use one of the two pools, part of the beach, several bars and restaurants, the second lobby or have nicer quality rooms. This excluded literally half of what the resort had to offfer. And when you pay for an all inclusive you don’t expect to be bombard [... read more]ed with things you won’t have unless you pay more. When we declined, the tone of service changed. We then waited 3 hours for our room which surpassed checkin time. We were told we’d have a king and we got two doubles (one more uncomfortable than the next) The food was alright (fresh produce), the beach was breathtaking (one of the most beautiful) and the facilities were clean. Many of the staff were friendly and many were not, and looked unhappy (which made me feel a bit guilty for being there) Overall, we had a lovely time and overlooked the negative but would go elsewhere next time. While most resorts have that type of ‘royal’ upgrade, this place takes it to a whole new level. I’ve never taken the paid upgrades and it never mattered before but at Paradisus, if you don’t take it, you see the division in quality and service.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great memories..

Very clean, not noisy or crazy...Lots of fun,new friends..We enjoyed are stay, no issues with food or beach at all. Fridge filled daily, we all enjoyed it all 3 couples..met some new friendships out of it also !

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Another great vacation at Barcelo Bavaro Beach

This was our third trip to the Barcelo Bavaro Beach. We had an oceanfront King size room. The bed was very comfortable. Love the bathroom with dual sinks and separate toilet and shower area. Cleaning lady did a fabulous job. Floor was so clean as was the rest of the resort including the bathrooms. We found that the restaurants (on both the Beach and Palace side) even better than last year. The Mexican was our favorite. The house wine on the Palace side has improved, however the red  [... read more]wine (didn't try the white) on the Beach side is still not drinkable. Service at the buffet for Lunch was very good, however coffee service at breakfast was still slow, which would have been fine but we were in a bit of a rush to make our tee time at the golf course. All employees extremely friendly. We enjoyed that there were so many places for night entertainment, from the sports bar, to the singing and piano in the lounge next to the casino, not to mention the entertainment show every night which you could catch at either the Beach or Palace side. The beach was spectacular as usual. Love the natural shade from Palm trees. No problem getting chairs and no-one reserved. Seaweed was cleaned up every morning and the water was clear every day. The golf course was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be returning again.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful resort BUT go for the premium plus package

We booked expecting a premium package but were quite surprised when we had arrived and were endlessly turned away from buffets, denied drink request, asked to move to a different part of the beach (literally 6 feet away), were refused service at the cafe, and actually stopped on the trolley commuting from one lobby to another because we were wearing the dreaded “green bracelet”... it took two full days to find out the can’s and can nots of this resort. The beds were like sleeping on the [... read more] floor and the pillows were small and smelly... not a real 5 star luxury room ! But... the resort is grand and gorgeous, clean, well maintained... very beautiful! The beach is beautiful, the ala’ carts fantastic, sports bar is a great addition, poolside entertainment is fun. The language barrier is strong so communication was difficult. I would go back to this resort but only with a better package... the difference in the food is huge and the cheap Dominican alcohol gave me heartburn for a week. I assume the premium package would give me these extras and hopefully a more comfortable bed. Because of the recent changes to the resort if given the option we would have upgrade to a higher package.
