Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Good resort

Food was quite good. Accomodations not bad. Pools nice however pool washrooms are disgusting. Definitely need improvement on washroom cleaning schedules. Beach areas are not nice at all. Friendly staff. Good ice cream.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fantastic resort a 10/10

We wanted to thank you Debbie Maguire at Tripcentral for making our vacation in Mexico a magical experience. Everything from airline to accommodations was perfect. Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Great all adult resort.

Nice to have alternate pools, quiet for those wanting to read and a bar pool for those who wanted a party atmosphere. Nice to have no reservation requirements for their specialty restaurants. Great 24 hour room service.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent Service - when can I go back?

Absolutely perfect holiday with the best customer service I've ever had. Staff are very friendly, eager to help and top notch on customer satisfaction. Really can't wait to go back next year for another amazing holiday

Ocean Maya Royale: Good Value

This resort was well maintained. Clean rooms and facilities. the grounds were well kept and around the pool was very nice. Not enough shade around the pool though as you cannot move umbrellas. The food was pretty good, the snack bar near the pool had amazing burgers! The a la carts were quite nice. I found it took quite a while to be seated if you went to the buffet. I also feel like it took a long time for the wait staff to come and offer you either water or a drink, but that was only at the bu [... read more]ffet. I just feel like they were maybe under staffed at the time I went. The entertainment staff around the pool were great. Really tried to get people involved, and the foam party on the Friday was a blast! the maid stole a pair of shorts and a shirt from me, which was very odd, but other then that all the staff was good and the over all experience was a good one! Not somewhere to go with a bunch of friends, its more of a couples resort I found.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Relaxing and fun!

My daughter and I went with a friend and her daughter for an adult getaway. We stayed here for a week and I can tell you it was all luxury! Our butler Timothy was fantastic and really addressed our needs. He made our dinner reservations as we requested and even had to change a few around. He greeted us warmly everytime we returned to the hotel from an excursion. Any request was granted no matter how small! Thank you for making our vacation so special! I was concerned before we went about taking trolleys everywhere but it turned into a lot of fun and in the end was no bother at all. We visited other resorts in the complex- went to Akumal to enjoy the swim up bar, went to Tulum for the fantastic animation team! We stayed far from Coba as we were trying to enjoy a childless vacation. Rooms were fantastic and didnt have that "mouldy" smell most Carribean rooms have. My clothes came home smelling nice! The pools were clean and warm as well. We had a very difficult time finding 4 loungers the day we decided to stay at Sian Kaan. Being a regular at high end resorts I found this to be truly lacking. This was the only time we could not find a seat together. We had no issue at the restaurants, buffet etc. Even in the packed hour at breakfast there were tables available. The spa was great as well, very serene and relaxing for a small spa. Olga was my masseuse and was top notch and clearly knowledgeable about her profession. I wish I had went earlier in the week. I would have gone back a few times.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing Resort!! Highly Recommended

The atmosphere of the resort is amazing and the grounds were well kept. Only thing I would say was a little bit of a let down would be the food it was top not but it was still good. The staff on the resort were always friendly and willing to help out in anyway they could when asked. I definitely recommend this resort to anyone wanting to visit mexico

Selection Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort

Best food and cleanest hotel I ever been to, you can see all the staff they try their best to service you, had wonderful experience the only negative is we arrival at 10am and did not get in our room till 4pm vs 3pm.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great vacation at Luxury Bahia Príncipe Sian Ka'an

Four of us went for one week at the end of May. We had a wonderful time. It was nice to be able to dine at the other resorts as there were only 2 a la carte restaurants a the resort. The private beach was very nice!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Our best all-Inclusive yet

My Fiancee and I stayed at this resort the first week of June 2016 and had an excellent time. We found the resort itself to be well designed and well cared for. The staff were are very friendly and helpful. The buffet had a good selection of food and of a high enough quality that I often found myself going back for a second plate despite my waistlines objections. We received 3 a la carte restaurant reservations and while the food was good it wasn't much better than the buffet so we didn't mind e [... read more]ating most of our meals there. The beach is probably the only downside to this resort. It is sandy and kept very clean but there are large wave breaks a little ways out in the water which prevent you from getting much deeper than waist high in the water or playing in the waves. On the plus side if you had children you wouldn't have to worry about them getting destroyed by the waves which look to be quite aggressive beyond the wave breaks. However, even inside the breaks there are large rocks here and there. The resort is also kinda in the middle of nowhere so if you want to go shopping in an authentic Mexican market you will have to find transport off the resort. They do have a resort market set up but expect to pay much higher prices then you would find off resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Fantastic resort with a terrible beach

The rooms were clean, the food was great. They had many restaurants to choose from. I liked festival the best as it was fully covered and the selection was great. The pool area was sooo big and beautiful with plenty of chairs. But the beach was absolutely terrible. If you walked next door to the right of the hotel (facing the ocean -right) their beach was great. We went there one day.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: can't wait to go back

this is a beautiful resort! We had a blast vacationing here with our 14 month old. The staff and grounds are very well suited for family travel and everyone was extremely accommodating. I found the food delicious and above what it typically is in resorts. I highly recommend this resort!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful Resort

This resort is huge! There is so much to do and see at this resort. We were greeted with friendly and kind people and the check-in process was simple and quick. The lobby of the resort is beautiful and really catches the cultural landscape. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are so many pools and each has its own entertainment. The staff at the resort were friendly, helpful, and prompt. You could not ask for more from a resort.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Everything is well done!

Everything at this resort is excellent--the spacious and clean rooms, the above average service, the large, beautiful, well-manicured gardens, the varied and delicious food. The beach is beautiful and the pool is beyond compare. No wristbands, no reservations needed for restaurants, 24 hour room service, rooms cleaned twice a day. Absolutely nothing to complain about at this resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort Outstanding food

The luxury Bahia Príncipe Akumal was a great stay. The resort itself was excellent. Grounds were maticulously maintained. Rooms were clean and bright. The food at the resort was outstanding. Buffet was top notch. Always something for everyone. All of the food chicken, beef and sea food tasted great. Many other resorts we have stayed at the beef is a little hinky. The beach wasn't overly busy and was easy to get seating. The only complaint of the whole trip is that the beach is man made and t [... read more]hus the sand isn't that soft. Also a lot of rocks in the ocean as a result. (Only reason I rate it 4 instead of 5 stars). If you're a pool person easily a 5 star. Drinks were good. Lots of brand name liquor for various drinks. Amazing entertainment. And easy access to all the other attached Bahia resorts. Gym at the akumal was lacking but the Coba resort which was a short trolly ride away had a much better gym including a bench press and smith machine. All in all a great vacation would gladly go back to Mexico.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Memorable Return to Riviera Maya

After many years a return trip to the Riviera Maya was a memorable vacation. Location of the Beach Maya is great, close enough to Playa, local Cenotes, snorkelling, and ruins such as Tulùm, but separate from the noise of Cancun. White sand beaches, swimming right along the Beach Maya's shore, or plenty of well maintained pools to stay cool. It was a handful of staff that really made the vacation though, waiters, activity leaders, guides, who all put there personal touch to a sometimes impersona [... read more]l resort. This location is great and offers something for everyone, but was too expansive to be a quiet retreat. With full occupancy exceeding the population of hometown ! Large groups made accommodations noisy. All in all an enjoyable vacation.

Riu Palace Mexico: average

changed room because of view but the other room did not provide a view we had expected either. We were not aware of an extra charge for a room with a view. Other than that the resort was beautiful but not enough entertainment.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: As advertised

Grounds beautiful, beds comfortable, nice having a jacuzzi at night before bed. Food hit and miss but loved the lobster night and the Japanese restaurant. Entertainment was always good. Beach crowded and diving was better at Dive Aventuras, worth the transportation to dive with them!Great value for price.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Great resort!

The staff are what make the hotel. Everyone says "Hola" from the gardeners to the management. The choice and quality of the restaurants were excellent. Again the staff were always willing to accomodate any requests etc. Beautiful beach. No problem getting chairs anytime. There is a line of coral right near the shoreline that can be difficult to navigate. But it is not THAT much of a hassle.

Hotel Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort: Amazing Staff !

Beautiful, clean and elegant resort. Very professional management. Courteous, friendly staff. Great grounds and location. Perfect for families and couples alike. We were impressed from the start of our stay. The entertainment staff are very hard working and talented but do not force the guests to participate.....there is always peace and quiet available in scenic, glorious locations throughout the resort. Restaurants are first class with five to choose from: The Alhambra is buffet style  [... read more]and requires no reservation (open for 3 means daily and almost totally accessible except for one hour between breakfast and lunch, and lunch and dinner). Reservations are required for the Italian, Medditeranian, Mexican and Seafood. All are fabulous. Would highly recommend this resort ! Tips are gracefully accepted from the staff but not expected, however, they all deserve a show of appreciation.
