Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great time!

I recently went to grand Bahia. It is kind of far from the airport 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic however I would recommend this hotel it is in fact very large. The rooms could be more dated but otherwise the food and staff are great!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Ok resort

I booked at white sands for $2200 per person and was sent to blue waters the day we arrived. Blue waters was great for what we paid but if I spent $3200 per person, it wouldn’t have been worth it. The service staff is great when they come to you, if you go to them ( the pool bar) the service was awful. You were legit bothering them, it was weird. An exception to this was the martini bar, I had great nights hanging out with Denroy and Radcliffe. The place is under Reno’s so maybe it’ll Imp [... read more]rove but $3200 is best spent elsewhere. $2200 is worth it.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Nice Resort

Everything at the resort was fantastic, except for the food not so good. But, the property was nice for walking and the beach splendid. The staff and people are very nice and friendly. The place is clean and service good. When you call they come. I would recommend if you dont care about getting good authentic Jamaican food on the grounds. However, Negril is small and there are lots of places near the resort to get food and it's safe for tourist to get out during the day time.

Samsara Cliff Hotel: Just what we needed!

Location is everything and Samsara did not disappoint. All the staff were great. However Tina at the bar was definitely a stand out and likely deserves a promotion and a raise! Pools and grounds were also extremely well maintained. Nester was very accommodating and helpful during our stay as well .. on the downside the all inclusive menu was limited and food was marginal and could be improved easily.. Norman and Jr are the taxi guys. They are both incredible and will definitely help you out if you need to go anywhere.. Stick with them! Samsara has the best of both worlds and is a place we will definitely consider returning too in the future!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Terrible Atmosphere

Altho the resort itself was nice and clean the staff are rude and didnt care if you were there or no. The smell of constant cigarettes and pot ruined the vacation. U couldn't enjoy the evening entertainment or pool area as clouds of smoke surrounded you. I could never have my patio door open to sit on it or enjoy the sounds as everyone had to smoke on their balconies. There arent enough umbrellas at the pool either. Go to Mexico its 100x's better.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Definitely not a 5 star resort as it is rated … more like a 3 star

The resort needs to be updated overall… the walkways are uneven which is a falling hazard … no elevators … not condusive to people with strollers or injuries. The loungers on the beach are old and dilapidated… not enough umbrellas and the ones they have are falling apart. The food at the buffet was atrocious… hardly any fruit and when asked if they had a certain fruit they would say it’s not in season, meanwhile there were vendors on the beach selling the fruit we were asking forâ [... read more]€¦ weird! The accomadations were ok… the rooms were spacious and clean except for the unwelcomed guest I found in one of the drawers (cockroach) … the waiters and entertainment staff were great and friendly but the front desk staff especially the front desk manager was rude and dismissive! Made the beginning of my trip very unpleasant! The only thing salvageable about this resort is the beautiful beach…. Definitely would not go back or recommend it unless some improvements are made

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort

This hotel was amazing, the people were the best of the whole experience. Everyone was so friendly, rooms were beautiful. Pools kept pristine. The beach is nice, the resort is huge and the food was great. Davina from the privilege club is the kindest most amazing person ever. Thank you to her most of all!

Riu Reggae: Great resort!!

I have to say I am not an entertainment person but the entertainment here was amazing! Staff are incredible and so friendly. Every morning they come along and greet you on the beach and stop will stop by just to chat. As regards to the food; I would give them a 4 out of 5. The buffet was great and the steakhouse. I love Italian food but the Italian restaurant was horrible. Also there was another restaurant that was only opened once in the week we were there. Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Incredible Experience

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Loved the food it was the best we’d ever had at a resort. The staff was incredible and super friendly. They went above whenever they caught wind that we we’re celebrating our anniversary. Champagne left in our room with some delicious treats. A special plate of dessert at the Asian restaurant and special fruit plate prepared for our couples massage on the beach. Thank you for making our time so special. Catalonia Montego Bay: Exceptionnel

It was a great trip despite the unorganized arrival at Montego Bay airport. Our air transat rep went aboveboard to make sure we were satisfied thx Daly. The staff at the Holiday Inn were great and respectful. We will recommend this place to others.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Amazing Resort

We had a wonderful stay, perfect room location, amazing balcony view, All the amenities one could ask for. Never been to a hotel where they are concerned about guests getting sunburnt and provide factor 60 suncreen for guest use at the towel bar! We had our own but it was a very thoughtful addition! Food, Entertainment great, Bar Staff outstanding and lots of fun. We were not disappointed in the Grand in any way but would have to say the Lazy river at the Suites resort is a huge disappointment. [... read more] It is so lazy you have to drag or walk yourself around. Barely anyone using it and is such an attraction on the marketing of the property. They really should fix the jets and have it actually functional.

Riu Negril: Very nice ressort

Everything is perfect the ground the beach the room and specifically the staff that are very nice and smiling the entire time we were there I would highly recommend this resort for anybody looking to disconnect.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Lovely resort

The hotel is nice and clean. Some of the rooms are newly renovated. Pools are very clean and the property is well kept. The view surrounding the beach is beautiful. However, it would be much nicer without the seaweeds. Some of the staff are very friendly.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Fantastic Resort

Everything that you want and need out of a resort. It was clean, great pool and ocean and was family friendly. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Would recommend to anyone headed to Montego Bay.

Riu Ocho Rios: Beautiful beach

Beach is so nice with amazing views from throughout the resort, soft sand, warm blue water Rooms are adequate, no frills Service is on par with what one would expect in Jamaica, some good, some can't be bothered Buffet is similar to food court food

Riu Reggae: Fantastic resort!!

This was my first time to Jamaica so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. First of all, Jamaica is amazing, the resort was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and all gave amazing service. The entertainment staff were so good and were friendly and very talented! The food at the resort was great, so many options and very delicious. The hotel also had so many drink options both alcohol and non-alcoholic, so there was something for everyone. There were no bugs (mosquitoes and flies  [... read more]on food) like I have experienced in other places. This is a small quaint resort but I prefer that. The beach is smaller than places but you can go to the Riu Montego Bay resort if you want to which is much bigger.This was by far my favourite vacation and my only regret is that I didn’t book for 8-10 days!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Welcoming Resort

The hotel was overall a nice stay. The service made me feel comfortable and welcoming. The hotel food was not the best. I know they water down the food for Caucasians. The liquor is really cheap so I would recommend buying a bottle for your stay perhaps, but it is bar-able Either than that 8/10.

Here’s our review of the GBP Grounds 10/10 - well kept and nothing out of place. Rooms 6/10 - old, out dated, things not working. But you’re not spending most of your time in the room so it’s not a huge deal. Maintenance staff is very responsive. Staff 5/10 - We found this time at the GPH a lot of the staff were rude and ignorant. This doesn’t mean they’re not great hardworking people at the GBP because there are several. The lady who sells excursions at the grand pool followed my wife to the lobby and yelled at her because she accompanied someone who wanted to shop around for a better deal and the woman told the other staff members not to book us. If you have a pack of smoke visible 100% you’re getting asked for a few!! Not one but 2 or 3. Most of the wait staff (men) are not shy about flirting with the women of the group in front of their significant others. Food 9/10 - lots of options and everything is fresh Pools/Entertainment 10/10 - the entertainment staff do an amazing job making sure everybody is engaged all the time. Pools are managed well and are in great condition. Always chairs available Beeches 10/10 - beaches are in great condition. Always shares available water very clear.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Awesome Staff

This by far has been the best resort we have visited. Not the best beach but the food, the staff, the rooms all amazing. Davina from the privilege club was so nice. So far my only dislike was the Transat staff, we went to the counter and the women were super rude and unhelpful, I don't think we'd fly Transat again for this reason

Ocean Coral Spring: A Dream Come True

My son and I truly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Coral Spring. I surprised him with his first resort/plane trip for his 14th birthday. It was really important for me to feel safe knowing I was a single female travelling alone with my son and they did not disappoint. They were strategic with the room they placed me in, lower level, well light area, direct path to my room. Th [... read more]e staff were all very friendly, respectful, asking if you were good or in need of something. The teen room was my sons favourite, with activities geared to his age (video games console, pool table). The food was sooooo delicious and various options. The ‘a la carte’ was a wonderful experience and easy to reserve online. There was plenty of activities throughout the day and night. We didn’t spend much time at the beach in itself because the pool itself was entertaining and with music, the bar (serves non-alcoholic drinks as well) and planned activities (pool volley ball, aerobics, dance lessons etc). Night activities were also plentiful and varied for adults and children. I don’t normally write reviews but reading reviews helped me choose this resort, so I figured I would pay it back. I am so excited to continue my travel experience with many more! P.S. It’s about a 30-40 mins drive from the airport.
