Riu Negril: Very nice ressort

Everything is perfect the ground the beach the room and specifically the staff that are very nice and smiling the entire time we were there I would highly recommend this resort for anybody looking to disconnect.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Lovely resort

The hotel is nice and clean. Some of the rooms are newly renovated. Pools are very clean and the property is well kept. The view surrounding the beach is beautiful. However, it would be much nicer without the seaweeds. Some of the staff are very friendly.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Fantastic Resort

Everything that you want and need out of a resort. It was clean, great pool and ocean and was family friendly. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Would recommend to anyone headed to Montego Bay.

Riu Ocho Rios: Beautiful beach

Beach is so nice with amazing views from throughout the resort, soft sand, warm blue water Rooms are adequate, no frills Service is on par with what one would expect in Jamaica, some good, some can't be bothered Buffet is similar to food court food

Riu Reggae: Fantastic resort!!

This was my first time to Jamaica so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. First of all, Jamaica is amazing, the resort was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and all gave amazing service. The entertainment staff were so good and were friendly and very talented! The food at the resort was great, so many options and very delicious. The hotel also had so many drink options both alcohol and non-alcoholic, so there was something for everyone. There were no bugs (mosquitoes and flies  [... read more]on food) like I have experienced in other places. This is a small quaint resort but I prefer that. The beach is smaller than places but you can go to the Riu Montego Bay resort if you want to which is much bigger.This was by far my favourite vacation and my only regret is that I didn’t book for 8-10 days!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Welcoming Resort

The hotel was overall a nice stay. The service made me feel comfortable and welcoming. The hotel food was not the best. I know they water down the food for Caucasians. The liquor is really cheap so I would recommend buying a bottle for your stay perhaps, but it is bar-able Either than that 8/10.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing Vacation

Here’s our review of the GBP Grounds 10/10 - well kept and nothing out of place. Rooms 6/10 - old, out dated, things not working. But you’re not spending most of your time in the room so it’s not a huge deal. Maintenance staff is very responsive. Staff 5/10 - We found this time at the GPH a lot of the staff were rude and ignorant. This doesn’t mean they’re not great hardworking people at the GBP because there are several. The lady who sells excursions at the grand pool followed my wife to the lobby and yelled at her because she accompanied someone who wanted to shop around for a better deal and the woman told the other staff members not to book us. If you have a pack of smoke visible 100% you’re getting asked for a few!! Not one but 2 or 3. Most of the wait staff (men) are not shy about flirting with the women of the group in front of their significant others. Food 9/10 - lots of options and everything is fresh Pools/Entertainment 10/10 - the entertainment staff do an amazing job making sure everybody is engaged all the time. Pools are managed well and are in great condition. Always chairs available Beeches 10/10 - beaches are in great condition. Always shares available water very clear.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Awesome Staff

This by far has been the best resort we have visited. Not the best beach but the food, the staff, the rooms all amazing. Davina from the privilege club was so nice. So far my only dislike was the Transat staff, we went to the counter and the women were super rude and unhelpful, I don't think we'd fly Transat again for this reason

Ocean Coral Spring: A Dream Come True

My son and I truly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Coral Spring. I surprised him with his first resort/plane trip for his 14th birthday. It was really important for me to feel safe knowing I was a single female travelling alone with my son and they did not disappoint. They were strategic with the room they placed me in, lower level, well light area, direct path to my room. The teen room was my sons favourite, with activities geared to his age (video games console, pool table). The food was sooooo delicious and various options. The ‘a la carte’ was a wonderful experience and easy to reserve online. There was plenty of activities throughout the day and night. We didn’t spend much time at the beach in itself because the pool itself was entertaining and with music, the bar (serves non-alcoholic drinks as well) and planned activities (pool volley ball, aerobics, dance lessons etc). Night activities were also plentiful and varied for adults and children. I don’t normally write reviews but reading reviews helped me choose this resort, so I figured I would pay it back. I am so excited to continue my travel experience with many more! P.S. It’s about a 30-40 mins drive from the airport.

Samsara Cliff Hotel: Just what we needed

We really liked this resort. It was very small and we were left alone to relax. There was very few people staying at the resort. We just relaxed. We cliff jumping was fun and the infinity pool was glorious. The breakfast was really good. The drinks were not weak but wine was not included in the all inclusive. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Vert Nice Resort

The hotel was clean, grounds well kept, beautiful beach, great food and drinks and lots of activities for kids and adults alike.Loved it! The only issue we had was the rude attitude we got from one of the girls in the Tour area of the hotel.

Riu Reggae: Very good resort

This was my first time at the Riu and the Riu Reggae was very good. The service was good, lots of different variety for food and being vegetarian there was a lot to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds changed every day. The resort is not big so everything is great walking distance including to the beach. Beach had seaweed in some area but overall it was great.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Family trip, group of 6

Beautiful views, mostly friendly staff with some outstanding members. Food was very good at buffets and a la cartes. Beaches were smaller but nice. Pool is huge and kept clean but too many areas in close proximity playing different loud music. Not enough loungers and the usual issue of towels draped to save seats and no people ever actually using the seats.No smoking policy completely ignored by many guests and not enforced by staff. Spending time at the pool resulted in breathing in second hand [... read more] cigarette smoke no matter where you sat...disgusting! Our room had a leak from the AC on the third night and maintenance was sent to repair it. On the 5th night we had water pouring from the ceiling at 4am. We had to threaten to sleep in the lobby before they agreed to move us. In our original room we were assigned a king and pullout for 2 adults and a child. The pullout was stuck and it took considerable force to open. No bedding or pillows at all for the pullout and no coverlet for the bed. It took almost 2 days and multiple requests to get bedding. My husband slept on the pullout with no pillow, no sheets and the only bath towel we were given, as a blanket. Our second room had a fully made pullout including a memory foam mattress pad. Some rooms get, some rooms don't, very inconsistent. The best entertainment during the week was the Silver Birds steel drum band. We have seen them twice before and still thoroughly enjoy their show. Amazing performers! Overall we had a great week because we were with family but the issues with the room did take away from the enjoyment and relaxation of the week. It shouldn't be expected that you pay that much for a vacation and end up sleepless and stressed out.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Amazing resort!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this amazing resort! I can't say enough amazing things about it but I'll try ;) Extremely clean rooms and so is every single bathroom all over the resort! Zero mosquitoes, no bugs in the room nor balcony (apparently they spray the resort at night and amen for that!). Ocean Eden Bay: Lovely resort

Service was amazing. Beach area small but food, choice of restaurants, atmosphere was great! Wish that the entertainment was outside vs indoors but the piano bar musician was amazing. Christine has a wonderful voice!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Large Amazing Resort - Lacking Late Night Entertainment

The Bahia Principe is a very large resort, especially when taking into account the Luxury Accommodations. The rooms, however slightly dated, are large and well kept. During our stay we did have a few issues with the room - no lightbulb on the terrace, leaking shower, broken key card reader - however all these problems were dealt with efficiently and all fixed within few hours of notifying the front desk. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, and strategically located in a bay that shields the bea [... read more]ch from the stronger waves. The pool is large and is the home for the entertainment team who are wonderful. The buffet has a wide selection of good food, however the restaurants are truly amazing. A definite must try! The one downfall of this hotel was the lack of night time entertainment. At the lobby bar in the evening you could find live music however there was no show/entertainment. There was a stage at the Bahia Village and some locals told me there used to be entertainment/shows every night as well as a casino, however when the shows stopped the casino had to close. Luckily, we had thought to bring a deck of cards so we could entertain ourselves however many guests were not so lucky.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great People

The following people really made a difference for us and enhanced our vacation. Tyrel at the Knife Yusheka, Kemara and Shawnie from Picasso Ramon and Trisha from the Buffet. Also a very special thank you to Krista at the outside lobby bar and Orlando from Entertainment. Wonderful people for sure. The building and property are great but we will not return to this resort due to what we and many others felt was poor management, but we wish the staff well.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Very nice resort, a little dated.

The grounds are beautiful, pools are amazing. You are directly on beach, which is great! The staff are extremely pleasant and accomodating. The buffet was mediocre at best, with a lot of repeat items. Hunters Steakhouse was our favourite a' la carte. It is not a luxury experience but extremely enjoyable.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Disappointed

Check in was very smooth,but after that things went down hill.We arrived just after 4pm went to our room,had no blanket on bed,It took 3 phone calls to the lobby for them to finally bring one to our room(11pm)! The attitude from the front desk woman was very nonchalant,she proceeded to tell me she doesn't use a blanket on her bed. The buffets were good,could of been more fruit.The open terrace on the second level served wine in champagne glasses,they didn't have lime or mint for cocktails. The room was very dated,there was paint splatters on all the doors,ring marks on the counters that left stains,the tub was full of cracks. The grounds were nicely kept.Most staff very friendly some not! The entertainment was a joke! The beach was horrible,it was not inviting at all. So all in all I definitely will not be returning and will not recommend this resort. This was certainly not a 5 star resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Resort O.K

I went for the sun and beach and it didn't disappoint. This is my third time at this resort and will be my last. This time around we had the garden room, I was hoping to see tropical plants instead it was a parking lot. The room was clean but there are visible stains on the chairs and the cushions had a musky smell. The room was also very noisy and there were leaks in the hallway. The best meal we had was at the Mikado restaurant, the worst meal was at The Knife, we couldn't eat the meal. We mostly ate at Jazmin and the beach restaurants. The grounds are well kept and staff very friendly and helpful.
