Memories Grand Bahama: Great beach great location!

This resort is in a great location! We enjoyed the beach and food especially the Italian restaurant which is located on the beach. The rooms are clean but make sure you upgrade to get a balcony. Improvements are needed to better umbrellas at the beach and towels provided daily in the rooms. The Prop bar is also a great place to hang out. Congrats to the entertainment team who work very hard!

Memories Grand Bahama: Third time was not the charm...

Although it wasn't our first trip, it is our first review ever. We decided to go to Bahamas to celebrate our anniversary. The resort is small and not very "green". Beach is nice, but it was very crowded (the end of April, beginning of May). It was very hard to get a space even in the early morning. There is just few umbrellas, so the shaded space is limited. The pool area was crowded too. It was impossible to get launcher at 10 am. When we try to reserve it with towels (including our own - diffe [... read more]rent color), they where stolen two times. It never happened in any other resort. It is very hard to get a place in the shade, not many palms. There is a lot of activities around the pool area including, yoga, palates classes, loud music and instructor's voice. There was few annoying things like the sales representatives walking around with potential diamond club member ship buyers, fully clothed people from the cruises wondering around, waiting for their rooms to be ready. Apparently there is ongoing renovation. One night just 3 minutes to midnight all of a sudden we heard a loud noise. It turned out there was worker cutting tiles in the hall and sparks were flying. It lasted for about 30 minutes. Food in general is not too bad. The unusual thing was that although there was a lot of tables available, we always had to wait to be sited and we had to give our room number. The positive side is that the staff is very friendly and professional. That was our third experience with Memories resort, but it was the worst. Unfortunately it was also the most expensive one.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Was enough for 4 nights

Food was good. Beds need to be updated, very uncomfortable. Service was sometimes poor. Small resort with only one pool that doesn't see the sun until late in the afternoon. The resort did not have enough umbrellas, people had to go early as 7 am to book an umbrella. Did not have a chance to try the A La Carte Dinner as they were fully booked by the time we arrived to the resort, although we saw a lot of empty seats during dinner.

Memories Grand Bahama: Wonderful Family Vacation

This resort was awesome! We stayed 1 week from May 8 to 15. The resort is small but this is very convenient if you have child travelling with you. The food, drinks and beach were great. The steakhouse is amazing!!! We never had any problems with the staff, they were friendly and they always played and talked to our 16 month old. Kids play area was great. The down sides to the resort is that the rooms need an update and the bathrooms are small but the beds were wonderful. I would go back to this  [... read more]resort for sure. The biggest thing for us was that we had no problems travelling with a baby to this resort.

Memories Grand Bahama: Amazing food

Grounds a bit dirty and service was slow but people were amazing and food was excellent !! Great beach, great location shopping withing walking distance. Rooms were small but very clean and the drinks were good.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: The Best Location

This hotel is always great! It's in the best location, and provides easy access to all Atlantis amenities. We enjoyed the food and drinks, free WIFI, and the cleanliness of the resort. All the staff are very friendly

Breezes Bahamas: Funnest Trip Ever!

I went to Breezes with my best friend for a week and we loved it. It was so fun. The staff was the friendliest staff. The entertainment was amazing. Every night was something fun and different. Plus they had a disco and piano bar. Drinks were available until 3am. The beach was fantastic-long, clear water, white sands. The pools were great and had a swim up bar and a hot tub. Memories Grand Bahama: Enjoyable time

The drinks were plentiful, food was excellent, selection amazing, especially at the buffet and the steakhouse. Attitude of staff varied from exceptionally attentive, to, not really bothered about helping you. I also felt that some did not respect the customer, which was not a pleasant feeling. Rooms are comfortable, but the bathrooms are small and some general TLC is required, but it was not bad enough that it spoilt the trip. Memories Grand Bahama: Excellent vacation!

This was a fantastic resort - the staff were very friendly and wanted to help you whenever needed, the resort was clean, the restaurants/cafe etc had great food, there were nice activities, no bugs, safe, and family-friendly.

Memories Grand Bahama: Memories exceeded our expectations.

The resort property was wonderfully laid out.Very close to the ocean and pools. Lots of areas for relaxing although a few more umbrellas for shade on the beach would have been appreciated.We found the staff very helpful and friendly!!

Memories Grand Bahama: Has potential, but room improvement.

Unfortunately the staff at the main desk screwed up everyone's room in our party, and apparently didn't understand their own computer system. The attitude of some employees could have been better and more hospitable. The hotel could do a better job of having the Umbrellas in good working condition, most of them were broken and did not get attended too despite several requests. The food was good, the à la carte restaurants were very good! Bonus of having a casino on the resort. Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Great vacation , but!

Overall the hotel was fine but unless you upgraded to the level you are required to sit on the side of the beach with very little shelter. The side of the beach with the thatch huts for shelter were off limits to all guests except those upgraded to level service. It is nice to sit in the warm air but sitting in the direct sun is not fun.

Breezes Bahamas: Fantastic Beach Front!

Pros: beautiful beach and cabanas, friendly staff (most), open air massages and fantastic 'Funky D' Band and entertainment in the lounge Cons: tired rooms, poor water pressure with shower, food was average but included a variety, resort lacked in the deliverables and services

Memories Grand Bahama: Fabulous Time- No Complaints!

We stayed here from May 8-15 and from flight to checking to room to restaurants to pool to beach- we have NO complaints. Everything was clean, the weather was fantastic, staff was friendly, and any issue we had was taken care of immediately. We traveled with two other couples and one had an air conditioner problem that was fixed before they went back to their room that day. We didn't have towels in our room when we arrived - we asked maid and towels were brought to our room that evening.

Surprised to find carpets in room should upgrade to ceramic tiles. The food was great & loved the little coffee shop! Staff was friendly! Paid for an ocean view ...disappointed ...could only see a little bit!

Memories Grand Bahama: Beautiful beach

Overall, the resort and location was beautiful, safe and friendly staff. The beach and pool was great but their could have been more towels, chairs and umbrellas. The hotel could improve on their organizational skills for checking into the hotel as well as refreshing the towels. The food was fantastic and totally made our trip more enjoyable. Would definitely go back to the Bahamas!

Memories Grand Bahama: Loved it.

The resort is very nice...not overly big so it is easy to get around...no more than a 5 minute walk from lobby to beach which is nice...everything is close. Our room was very nice with super comfy beds...food is really good (could be hotter in buffet but a good variety) but the steak house, Japenese, etc. were to die for..the drinks are all really good. The resort has a place called the Bean Café with delicious ice cream , donuts, muffins, lattes, expressos, etc. The beach is very nice ...you c [... read more]an walk for miles on nice, soft sand. Across the street is the Lucyan Market with markets, bars, restaurants, waterfront, etc...very nice and there is a Casino on the resort for those who like to gamble. There was a lack of umbrellas on the beach but some were on their way...I would definitely go back.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great Location, Average Accommodations

We love the location of this hotel. However, we did not like having to pay $25/day for an umbrella on the beach nor having to pay $100 for late check out as the hotel does not offer a hospitality suite!

Great reception. Great food. Excellent staff. only a bit of concern is when a guest checked out at 12 but no separate showers until evening if the flight is at night . Only one pool for such a large hotel

Breezes Bahamas: Run down

The resort needs alot of repair and it feels more like a teenage hang out with cheap drinks and basic food more than a resort. The beach is beautiful and the trapeze is fun but I'm sure you can get these elsewhere.
