Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Fantastic Resort

The hotel has only been open for a few months but exceeded all expectations. The lobby, buffet area and common areas were all bright and airy. The rooms were large and bright - especially enjoyed the fact that all rooms had a pool/beach view. Food was good. Staff was exceptional -- friendly, helpful, very concerned about whether guests were having a good time and if there was anything further that could be done to assist. Would absolutely recommend this resort for anyone who enjoys a small  [... read more]hotel with a friendly, open atmosphere. Close to the airport but airplane noise did not bother me - actually enjoyed watching the planes come in each day and arrivals were over by 9 p.m.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: A vibrant complex

Lots of activities for all ages led by a group of high energy young people. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Beautiful grounds. Happy to see so many young kids. Enjoyed the a la Cartes as well as the buffets. Evening shows were entertaining. A safe environment.

Grand Decameron Panama: Its a well geographical positioned resort!

we had a 5 days of amazing weather, plus a very cordial people who made us feel great. Overall management was very we'll organized and willing to help us in anyway we needed. Would help to have at hand drinks facilities so it would be no struggle to a drink when you arrive, specially when its very warm.

Grand Decameron Panama: Hot and Hilly resort

Large resort with well kept grounds. Service was slow in the restraunts. Could be because of not enough employees. Maid service was excellent. Loved our room. The pools were excellent. Food was typical buffet style. If your fussy the hamburgers were great.Good selection.VERY CLEAN. Lots to do. Great entertainment night and day. Weather was great. Excursions were excellent variety. If you are bored then that's your fault!?Our group of 16 had a blast!!

Excellent location. Air Transat staff had booth set up at airport, provided us with Hotel package with everything we needed for arrival at hotel. 5 minutes to hotel, porters had our luggage to room and we were enjoying our holiday within one hour of clearing security at airport. We did have a problem with our in room safe. Once reported to front desk, they promised to send maintenance to our room within 20 minutes. Within described time...problem was solved. Huge hotel, lots of pools,  [... read more]bars, restaurants. However, weekends became busy as local families arrived. Seemed to take over main pool areas and kids overwhelmed bar staff with requests for soft drinks etc. We retreated to adult only pools... so everything was good. Room was clean, comfortable beds, food was good, beer/drinks excellent.

OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH RESORT. DEFINITELY NOT A 4 STAR. ROOMS SEEM A BIT RUN DOWN WITH NO AMENITIES IN ROOM LIKE IRON, IRONING BOARD, CLOCK, FEE FOR SAFE, FEE FOR STOCKED FRIDGE ETC. BOTH A-LA-CARTE RESTAURANTS SERVED SAME MENU. THE FACT THAT ALL RESTAURANTS NEEDED A RESERVATION FOR DINNER INCLUDING A-LA-CARTE WAS A BIT ANNOYING AND THE FACT THAT THEY ONLY OPEN AT 7:00 A.M. Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Relaxing Holiday!

A beautiful resort with excellent service, great food & beautiful rooms. We went with another couple & ended up with the 3rd floor suite (RM 1301) lg king size bed & a spectacular balcony that could easily accommodate 20 people, awesome view of resort & sunsets. We also had adjoining rooms which was perfect. There where a few bugs to iron out as in any new resort, they had problem with boiler system so no hot water for 2 days & had to let the shower run before it got hot. The buffet was very goo [... read more]d, beach restaurant had excellent jerk chicken wings, at night it is the a la carte, we had the beef tenderloin which was excellent considering beef is not like ours here in Canada. The beach is a natural beach with crystal clear calm water. The resort is small which we liked, pool was great, beach bar service & lobby service was excellent. The only other complaint would be that rooms near the lobby you would hear the music into the evening. We stayed at the Riu Montego Bay when we where last in Jamaica, this resort is very comparable, but different environment, Riu is larger so more variety of food at the buffet, but we would definitely return! We booked with Amanda Griffith , she was very professional & answered all our questions, defiantly will be recommending her & will book with her again!

Rooms are nice. Grounds nicely kept. Pools are clean. Service is friendly. Beach is beautiful. A little wildlife ( iguana ). Get ready to walk. Lots of stairs. But it's a good workout. Would go back again. You can't ask for much more for the money. Good value.

Grand Decameron Panama: Wonderful resort

This is a very spacious resort. Our ocean view room was very clean.Food was good with many choices for the picky eater. Pools were clean and the staff were friendly. There are lots stairs which many people used to their advantage for their morning workout. Have your cameras at the ready for the local wild life.

Clean. Rooms were clean. Really liked the shower. Lots of steps and hills. Food was nothing great. Booking all your suppers even for buffet at night was stupid. Booking for el carts was mostly impossible

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Excellent Second Visit !!

This was our second visit to this resort (we were there last year). The food, people, rooms (a little dated but keep very clean), grounds, etc. all excellent. Such a great atmosphere for a week of relaxation !! We highly recommend this resort !

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Wonderful Place to Stay!

The hotel was beautiful! The food was delicious and the beach was gorgeous! Paddle board and kayak rentals were free all day and they had a lot of equipment. There is a sunset/night time paddle board tour you can do for an extra cost and it is totally worth it. They have special lights on the stand-up paddle boards so you can see into the ocean below you. We followed some stingrays and a school of fish and it was magical. Watching the sunset, while floating on a paddle board in the middle of the [... read more] ocean was a real highlight too! The staff are super friendly and helpful. You can expect to share a lot of laughs with them. We met so many people who had returned to this same resort several times. One group had stayed here 39 times! That says something. This was my first trip to Jamaica and it set the bar high. I would 100% return to this resort.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Disappointed

While we had wonderful weather and did enjoy our time away from work and the cold weather, there was somethings that we did find disappointing. There are two pools on the resort. They are extremely small and only 4 feet deep all around. There was also not enough lounges around either of the pools so if you didn't get out and put your towels out you weren't in luck at all. There is also hardly any beach access so that really wasn't an alternative. There was a swim up bar at one of the pool [... read more]s and because of the small size when it got to be about 3 in the afternoon the pool was extremely scummy. YUCK My travel agent had requested that we be no higher than the 2nd floor as I have to have Achilles heel surgery and find stairs a real problem. We were put on the 4th floor which is the highest one. When we asked to be changed they would accommodate our request at all. Also I have never been to a resort that didn't have a fridge in the room. Ours didn't. I need a fridge as I am an insulin dependant diabetic. They said they would put a fridge in our room for a price of $5.00 US per night!!!! Just was disappointed in the whole thing.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Would go back in a minute

This is a beautiful resort small quiet no lines no trying to find chairs at the beach Excellent food lots of variety the hotel is older but it is very clean. Have traveled extensively in Mexico would put it up against the 4 stars any day People working there are great always singing while they are working did not matter if they were cooking or painting they were also doing reno's when we were there and they were singing too. Loved this place only complaint I had was the coffee but I went ac [... read more]cross the street to the oxxo and bought myself a small instant coffee and coffee mate and just got hot water when I wanted a coffee. This is a smaller town so you do need to have pesos not american money also no fridge in the room and no hairdryer but I brought my own hair dryer and they always had fresh bottles of water so we were good I would go back in a minute loved loved loved this place

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great small resort

Location was conveniently located close to towns and directly on the beach. Our room and public areas were spotless, the staff were friendly and food was fine. I would highly recommend to those that prefer small resorts, where everything is close and you want to get to know the staff and fellow travelers. The only drawback is the beach is not safe for swimming. Otherwise, I would give it a 10 out of 10.

Pro's: Service from wait staff, housekeeping, daily activity coordinators was great. The buffet food was awesome. Beach and pools were lovely. Small, adult orientated. Cons: The transat staff who cordinated tours couldn't be less helpful when both our tours were cancelled after we paid. No attempt to regain funds was established, they were unapologetic and seemed more than aware this was a likely possibility however never informed us. after fourth time at this resort, will never return! Management has apparently changed , food was not good , restaurant booking procedure was medieval, not enough lounge chairs in the shade, entertainment not english, customer service from hotel staff very poor English, too many steps from beach to room ( that didnt change but we are getting older!) very few english guests, hard to make friends., felt very isolated

Hotel rooms very nice, beds very comfortable, rooms located very well for access to lobbies, restaurants, bars ,pools , beaches and entertainment. Transportation was very convenient and drivers were very polite and friendly and helpful because I have a disability. All staff were also very helpful and cheerful and were very accommodating at all times. Internet was not the best but not a big deal. Didn't care for the selection of food but there was lots to eat.
