IFA Bavaro Village: Needs some upgrades

The Beach was so beautiful!! The rooms were very dated and are in need of some major upgrades. 2 out of 3 couples had issues with their air conditioning. One couple might have had 4 days out of 14 which they had air conditioning in their room. The pool was always really dirty with garbage. One day the pool fountain shot out black stuff that smelled like sewage.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Excellent resort

This was our second trip to this resort, that in itself says a lot. Fantastic food and drink service. Grounds, rooms and building were spotless. No signs of mosquitos :) Probably due to how clean the place is kept. People extremely friendly and helpful. Management available and helpful. Pool large and clean, lots of chairs and areas where you could stay at the pool but out of the sun, if you wanted to. Other activities, pool, tennis, golf, ping pong all close by . Occidental Caribe: Very clean and organized resort

The hotel and staff were great! Everything went fantastic. Great holiday. Highly recommended, rooms were very clean! Food was really good! The pools were always clean, people were friendly. Overall great trip!

IFA Villas Bavaro Beach Resorts: Nice trip

Not a bad resort. Fook OK but a bit boring. The a la carte restaurants are quite bad. Drinks OK but made with powder mixes that are overly sweet. Stick with beer. The only decent cup of coffee is at tha Café Dominican and they don't open untill 8:00 AM. Staff are mostly good but some are a bit surly and cranky. Jorje at the front desk is VERY GOOD. JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: awesome resort !!!

Immaculate resort that has everything you would want or need and more. Top notch service, name brand drinks and high end food !!!. Concierge service was a nice touch. Room was beautiful and well kept with great mini bar and snacks!!! Definitely a 5+ Star !!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Grand Bahia Principle - Punta Cana (Dominican Rep.

Their service standards have been increased for the better; not feeling harassed for tipping. Grounds wonderful, staff very nice and professional, room ok. Next time would ask for a non connecting room.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Very good resort.

Rooms very, very clean. Food was very good. Staff was excellent. Would definitely stay there again. Had a very good time. Chairs around the pool were saved early in the morning, but, I can't say I ever had a difficult time finding a chair around the pool. Entertainment at night was fun. Good staff, good food, sunshine and great weather. What is there to complain about? Can't find anything!

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Beautiful, clean resort

Very well kept grounds. Appreciated the cleanliness everywhere. Rooms were great. Buffet food was average, the menu should very more from day to day. A few new items daily but mostly the same from meal to meal. Thankgoodness the restaurants were very good. My favourite was the French. Beaches are nice but would be gorgeous if they were groomed everyday.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: All that I expected and more....

My expectations were surpassed. The resort was super clean, the staff was helpful and plesant and the food was very delicious. I would definitely visit again. I would have liked to see more BBQ options on the beach. Fareeda

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Decent

Nothing special staff can be annoying I got sick off the food there resort is far from town I had a good time made the best of it but I wouldn't return to this hotel I've been too dreams cancun Riviera and dreams punta Cana cannot even compare

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Beautiful resort with friendly staff!

The hotel is beautifully laid out and workers are constantly cleaning or pruning. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The beach area is breath taking.. We did not enjoy the food in the specialty restaurants although the buffet was excellent with lots of variety, great food and excellent service. The safe in our room rarely opened with our password code so we had to cal the front office to get someone up most days. We did have fun and enjoyed the hotel and staff. Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Employees not as friendly

Hotel was nice for an older resort. Employees lacked customer service skills. I found they pushy, rude, and would only serve you if you held money. The lady in gift shop kissed her teeth at my son for asking to exchange his flavor of chips (direct echange). Had eyes rolling when I didn't want to purchase other items. It's a shame as I loved the resort and beach but some of the workers ruined my good mood most days. I couldn't believe they acted like that.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Paradise

Hotel grounds were amazing clean great beach, friendly staff wish we could be there again. Pool was enormous lots of beach chairs, drinks were delightful and unique, my family and I made good choice and definitely will go back to thi s resort.

Grand Palladium Palace: Beautiful resort

The food was 5 star rooms are roomy &great, beach was excelllent. The staff was beyond excellent, friendly and cheerful. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. The restaurants are plentiful and excellent.

Occidental Punta Cana: good

The beach is beautiful.The grounds and beach area were clean,The food was mediocore,The room was nice We really enjoyed the bed., it was fantastic,Service could of been a little better.Overall the fantastic weather and beautiful beach made up for any inconviences,

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Fabulous hotel!

This is a great vacation resort. The resort is kept impeccably clean by a great friendly staff. The food and the drinks were great. The pool is beautiful and the beach is simply amazing. We upgraded to the colonial club which we really enjoyed. Just book or, you won't regret it!

IFA Bavaro Village: Not the best resort in the area

Staff were not overly friendly..front desk was not a welcoming group for sure. Too many sales people on the actual resort....rooms were fine. The all night pizza spot was right outside our room so that was loud at times. If you go to this resort you may want to be, if possible, selective of your room as the layout of the resort has entertainment areas very close to the rooms.

Punta Cana Princess: Outstanding

This resort was quiet and the service was excellent. The grounds were beautiful. The four restaurants were all good, and no reservations required made it even easier to enjoy the selection each evening. Even the buffet was top-notch! There was smoking allowed in more areas than I have usually experienced, but only in the open areas so it was not overpowering. The staff were friendly and efficient, and there was a lot of entertainment provided which you could take or leave. My only criticism: the [... read more] rooms were nice but small and not much privacy in the bathroom area.

Occidental Punta Cana: Wonderful Resort

Had an amazing time, the beach was beautiful, staff very friendly, night entertainment was great, they could of had more things during the day, our room was decent the cleaning staff were awesome, the food was good, large variety. (Had an awesome time)

Blau Natura Park Resort: Live exotic birds!

We stayed there for five days from March 5-9th. When we first checked in there was a mix up with our room but the staff member that assisted us was efficient and very helpful. However, the first room we were shown was spacious, updated and had a flat screen TV. The room we ended up getting was old, with dated furniture and an old school box TV in which we never received a remote for so we had to keep getting up to change the channel. Since we were tired and hot, plus were only staying for a few  [... read more]days, we decided to make do with the room. Also, we were supposed to leave been provided with beach towels in our room but never received any. We had to go back and forth between the towel hut and front desk due to an obvious lack of communication between the two. In addition, there are too many locals on the resort trying to hackel you into going on an excursion. I've never been to a resort before where you're being harassed by at least 3 people on your way to your room! This was the biggedt annoyance for me. Keep three trusted excursion companies and/or reps seated in the lobby. The last thing your guests want is to be consistently harassed to and/or from their rooms and especially from people whom you can't distinguish whether or not are trusted or just a local trying to make a buck. The food is okay...look at for some under cooked food but that could happen anywhere. My last day I got food poisoning even though I was mindful of what I ate. The only saving grace was the beautiful peacocks and pink flamingos that seem to live on the grounds. Absolutely beautiful creatures! And gives the resort that added exotic feel. There's nothing like coming out of your room and having these exotic birds right in your backyard! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would only suggest that seeing as most tourists that frequent the resort speak English, that the staff be versed in it as well. Trying to communicate with house keeping about getting more towels was a mission! Not every experience about this hotel was a bad one. I would recommend it, I would just want potential guests to be aware of my experience. Would I return?? No. Simply because there are some amazing hotels in Punta Cana that I'd like to try out next.
