Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Had a great vacation!
Beach 5.0, Pool 5.0, Service 5.0, Food very good for cuba, Room no more then 3.5-4.0 stars. The service was unbelievable, the butlers were always there too book a la cartes and help. All together the best service i have had in Cuba. The most beautiful beach i have been to in Cuba, always enough room and definitely quieter then “family resortsâ€. This is the first time we have had an issue with SAND FLEAS that would bite our legs, but they seem to bite some people more then others. Bring bu [... read more]
Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Good Resort
The hotel itself, grounds and pools were well maintained. Average Cuban resort with above average main pool area and beach. The food was nicely cooked however the choices were a lot more sparse than usual. I felt the day and night entertainment could be a bit better. Definitely one to put on your short list!!
Gran Muthu Imperial: Great vacation
Had wonderful time and would highly recommend. Weather was great, accommodations awesome and staff really made a difference. Was expecting food to be an issue but was great. Plus pools were excellent and went to beach too which was lovely. Would love to come back and enjoy.
Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: So beautiful
Everything was super and a100 % me and my husband will come back in this place we meet nice and friendly personnel in this resort entertainment five stars ðŸ‘ðŸ˜I’m not going to forget that beautiful place like Cayo Coco
Hotel Rancho Luna: Good value for the money resort
The grounds are ok, rooms are ok; pool is very good; the food is good but lack of variety, shortage of veggies and salads; the bar service and restaurant service is good; maids are always friendly. The entertainment is good. The beach is good.
Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: Incredible
This resort is fantastic. The staff is amazing. The rooms were clean and rather modern. We had a "partial ocean view" which was pretty much full ocean view. It was so nice. The grounds are meticulously land scaled. The French a la carte was our favourite. The buffet was good. Always found something to eat. Lots of fresh fish and shrimp. Snack bar was good but alot of the times only certain stuff on menu was available. The chicken nuggets there were fantastic. The entertainment at night was grea [... read more]
Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Could not ask for more!
This was my first ever trip to Cuba, so there was a lot I didn’t prepare for. My advice to anyone travelling for the first time is to find a reliable person who is going to tell you everything you need before you go. With that being said, the hotel staff were more than willing to help me in any was that they could, they went above and beyond to make sure i felt like royalty. The beach was so amazing and beautiful. The pools were never overcrowded and you never had to wait long for a drink no m [... read more]
Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas
Absoulte nightmare food is horrific, no life guards by 7 pool until 15:00 after that time 1. Room cleaning service will just fold the same towels that you have used if they are dried. Everyone seems in a bad mood. There are couple of exemplary employees at the resort, however not worth the money or the effort. The beach is nice, howevr the bar opens between 9 and 11 am. Runs out of the cups and the employess just sit there saying sorry no cups without any effort to improvise or try to go to hote [... read more]
Melia Las Dunas: Loved this resort again
The resort is very clean , grounds are maintained very well . The staff is lovely! I had my granddaughter with us and they were extremely kind to her. I would like to say Liset Hernandez was especially kind to Graycee. Liset has a beautiful voice and soul . We told her Graycee’s Mom had died and she let her really feel special. She sings at the hotel twice a week . The dancers were wonderful too ! The food was pretty good , there was always something to eat that we enjoyed . This is my sec [... read more]
Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Save your money!
This resort was the worst I had ever been to.It was definitely not a 4 star maybe a 21/2. No friut, vegetables or milk. Food was not edible ,I ran to the bathroom after every meal no joke! I'm not a picky eater either. Drinks were gross, water had mold in it from dispensers. Mold in shower and on lounge chairs at pool. Dead crabs in pool tiles missing. I was so disappointed. Now the beach was good, snorkeling was amazing. I would never ever go back.
Melia Marina Varadero: Not eqial to star rating given
Not well organized, rooms in the main building are not maintained, poor entartainmant, apartment building rooms are better quality but quite a distance from the restorans, pool, and beach, the only thing which was prity good is a lovely beach and pool area, the star rating for this hotel is not more than 3 stars
Memories Paraiso: Very good resort, amazing Cuba holidays!
This resort is made of 3 connecting resorts that you can visit & has a replica of Spanish village with great shops & vendors. The grounds are very well taken care of. Rooms are clean & food is ok for Cuban standards, you can always find something to eat. The only downside is long lineups & alot of people smoking everywhere, they need to have designated smoking locations. If they had more staff working, preparing the food, would be better. Staff are friendly and service is amazing, especially in [... read more]
Memories Jibacoa: Quiet Resort
This is a quiet resort with no close towns near by. It is very dated and the pool is missing a lot of tiles so watch your feet. Food is good with International restaurant being the best. Beach is great and the snorkeling is amazing.
Muthu Playa Varadero: Great Resort
The resort was close to downtown to enjoy the nightlife. The resort was clean and staff was mostly very kind. The beach was beautiful. Plenty of activities available on the resort. The rooms were plain but very clean. Not too much variety with the buffet meals but the food is good.
Muthu Playa Varadero: Best Experience
The thing I remember the most about Muthu Playa Varadero was the way the staff treated us like family. I felt safe, but beyond that I felt welcomed especially by the dining and bar staff who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: A huge, beautiful resort
After a day in the regular resort, we upgraded to the Royal Service area, which is what I thought I had booked. The Royal Service was well worth the additional expense. The rooms were not only bigger but more luxurious and included all the amenities we expect in a North American hotel, whereas the rooms in the regular resort did not. The Royal Resort areas (pools, private beach and restaurants/bar areas) were not as crowded and the service was exceptional. We even had bar service at our chai [... read more]
Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Quiet and relaxing
Rooms were comfortable, butler Isabel was fantastic! The food at Sanctuary was some of the best we have experienced in Cuba! The pool is well maintained, quiet and never had a hard time finding a lounger.
Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Great deal but food was the worst I’ve had in Cuba :(
Everything was beautiful. From the rooms to the pools to the beach. Entertainment was Ok The only things I have to complain about is this resort is very far away from everything and the food was the worst I’ve had in Cuba. It’s about a 2 Hour Drive to the airport Not really any markets around or much to do unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. ( over priced )
Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Exactly what we were looking for in a quick beach getaway !!
We loved our ocean view room, the gorgeous white beach, very impressed with the exceptional service from the sweet staff, breakfast buffet was small but had some great items & a la cartes were terrific,
Melia Marina Varadero: Service is 5 stars plus!
Being welcomed by genuine people makes for a great adventure. Maria and Yankiel at the snack bar always smiled from their eyes and their genuine attention made the snack bar our second home at any hour of the night (shout out to Yosmany on shift change, another rockstar), Jula and Yunior on animation never missed a beat in welcoming you into the activities and created connections among the vacationers, Deynelys, and Josee at the pool bar made the experience a special one by connecting vacationer [... read more]
