Sol Palmeras: AMAZING SERVICE!

This is an excellent service, done by Karol Chareza from beginning to the end. We had an amazing time and we enjoyed the service and hopefully we see you next time...possibly next year. Merry Christmas

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Beautiful beach

Beach: amazing Staff: very courteous, friendly and helpful Grounds: beautiful, clean, well maintained Rooms: unrenovated section of the resort: rooms were scary, no closet doors, broken tiles, broken shower head Rooms: renovated section : were ok, clean, bed sheets only changed upon request Food: no a la cartes available first week. Second week went to Japanesse: excellent and Italian: good Remainder of a la cartes were closed because hotel was at half capacity Buffet: found something to  [... read more]eat every meal that was good. Not much variety or selection. Foods were not labelled so was unsure types of fish or if meat was beef or pork.

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Very nice

Been here 6 times. Dining room and restaurants are above average and the entertainment and service is good. Quite a few rooms being renovated - elevators ( 2 of 3) not working, dark hallways. The beach is great with managed chairs and a nice bar that serves lunch. As always, the staff was amazing and went out of their way for everybody.

Grand Memories Varadero: Grand Memories says it all.

When you go to Cuba you have to always keep in mind that you may not get what you think you pay for if your use to going to a 5 star resort in the Bahamas or Mexico. I Have been to both, also Domenicain Republic, and although i loved every one of the Hotels i chose, we always come back to Grand Memories. We actually came the first time it was called RIU. That's how much we love coming to Grand Memories. Let me start with the Big boss of bars Raquel Soria Diaz.When it was the Riu she was just a bartender at the beach bar with other friends we made. WE COME BACK BECAUSE OF THE TREATMENT WE RECIEVED AND CAN NEVER THINK OF GRAND MEMEORIES AS NONE OTHER THAN OUR HOME IN CUBA. I WILL NAME STAFF THAT HAVE GONE OUT OF THEIR WAY FOR US,,,,, i will start with the baggage cart drivers. AMAZING ATTITUDES AND FRIENDLY TIP OR NO TIP THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY... starting with Alex.."Yadiyan Gonzales" professional, polite, out of this world kindness in him. Darll never got his candy but still went out of his way with kindness to help me. He will get amazing people... humble good to the bone hard working and i just love them. I forget his real name but the big guy... i call him Mike Tyson cause he saved my boyfriend from a drunken stupid decision cause he knew that wasn't my mike. so mike tyson he is to me. wonderful amazing man. a few more but the new young guy Bryan,... wow what a beautiful and heartwarming gentleman. came running out when mu bus was about to leave to give me a hug and his coordinates... oh my god i could go on and on. The chef in the sanctuary... the host in the sanctuary reastaurant. the beach bar staff Guilermo garcia... Lorenazo... And their manager who was also waiting when it was the Riu Regla beautiful peop;e whom i love and spoil when i comel. they so deserve it. oh my im sure im forgetting to name some... Valentin Cayo Cruz: Beautiful Resort

The Hotel Pools Rooms Beach and grounds are first class, the staff were very nice but not trained enough, service was very slow and the entertainment was terrible. Management have a lot of work to do to get things up to standard. The a la carte restaurants are a joke. The location of the resort is 1 hour away from the Airport on a straight road with swamps on both sides (very boring)

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Another great time at Labranda Varadero

We are repeat guests at Labranda Varadero and plan to go back again in the spring. The location, beach and grounds are well complimented by an amazing staff in all categories from food servers to bartenders, from grounds keepers to cleaners. There are a lot of renovations going on, including a large new restaurant. We highly recommend the Labranda Varadero.

Grand Memories Varadero: Amazing resort

Rooms were clean, food was the best I've had in Cuba, the staff took a bit to get warmed up to new people but once they did they were fantastic , sandra in the buffet was fantastic and Darlay in the main lobby bar made the best drinks

Sol Cayo Coco: Sol Cayo Coco nice great Resort

Sol Cayo Coco is a beautiful great place to enjoy the 2 beaches,wonderful people and very friendly staffs, the room nice and clean,view I the ocean,nice entertainment, it was a great,but too short week,would be nice for 10 days to stay

Brisas Guardalavaca: Our Experience at Brisas

Not impressed with the level of service at reception. Seem to go about their business and don’t look up to greet you and you wait for 10 minutes while they chat with one another. Our room was not ready upon our arrival. Took over an hour and a half before we finally got it. Wow, paid for VIP too! So they knew we were coming. When booking a la Carts...the guy is sneaky. Originally he told us we were to get two dinners. I booked two. He said only 8:30 pm available! Next day receiv [... read more]ed a lobster 🦞 invite dinner invitation, booked for 6:30 pm. In speaking with others who had the VIP and same wrist band we should have received 3 plus the lobster dinner. We found out at the end of our trip but in enough time to capitalize on the third dinner. Went back to book and he said sorry nothing available. Funny, you get manager involved and suddenly his tone changed and we had choices of four different times! The service at the beach restaurant is amazing! Thank you Yasmin for making our week a special one. Beach was awesome and weather was hot and sunny all week! The only real thing I noticed was the Cubans that come and stay on the resort certainly got better food given to them and full service versus someone who paid VIP. Lastly, don’t expect your fridge stocked after initial day...everything is about the almighty dollar. Not keen on the resort. Playa Pesquero it is for us if we return to Cuba.

Playa Vista Azul: Great beaches and wonderful people

The Ocean Vista Azul is a beautiful all-inclusive Cuban 5-star resort. The beaches are magnificent (some of the best we've seen) with good animation and services. We were there in early December which is a good time to visit (not too busy and very nice weather). The resort itself is clean but needs better maintenance as some things require more regular attention. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were comfortable and well maintained although sparsely stocked (towels, soap, [... read more] etc.). The basics are there and replenished daily, sometimes a reminder is necessary (tipping assures good service). There was a good variety of food at the resort, particularly at the buffet restaurant. The "a la carte" restaurants were disappointing. We did not opt for the Privilege status and didn't find it made our stay any less satisfying. The nightly shows were standard resort fare (nothing extravagant). The local musicians who played throughout the resort were very good and entertaining. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Melia Las Americas: Love cuba

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent variety of good food, many swimming pools, beautiful clean beach. Excellent night entertainment. Close to a gorgeous golf club. Their sunset is breath taken. Very friendly service.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: It was a Amazing resort

Everything was perfect. Location was awesome! Food was great and a lot of choices! I would recommend this to everyone and enjoy their stay there! Service was on point and last but not least we enjoyed our stay

Melia Costa Rey: Pullman, Cayo Coco

Hotel was fine. Needs some major upkeep. For a fairly new hotel, a lot of things were rundown. The beds are awful. They kept running out of water so the public washrooms were disgusting. Many people were complaining of illness of which we didn’t escape. The beach and the weather was amazing

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Fantastic Resort

We returned him from this resort Dec 13 it was a fantastic place for our family vacation. The grounds and hotel are kept in excellent shape. All the staff were fantastic from the groundskeepers to the hotel management. The etertainment team was exceptional. I will be visiting this resort again and Its highly recommended others do too. Club Kawama: Lub Kawama

Hotel Rancho Luna: The resort has never looked so good.

They have painted, trimmed and never stop washing and cleaning. Their politeness and friendly attitude has always been #1. I am heading back in January 2020 for my 6th. time in 2 years. The biggest holdback is that Air Transat isn't using the Cienfuegos airport.

Memories Paraiso: non revenir

Ce hôtel n'est pas conforme. Les réparations de la chambre ne sont jamais réparées, même à 2 semaines. La douche fait une inondation, presque, et la télévision a brûlé. Les animateurs sont mauvais et ils n'ont pas du tout.

Playa Costa Verde: Beautiful beach, but a few things declining at the resort

This is our 2nd year in a row at the resort. The staff are great (we really liked Marcel-trainee, who worked the lounge in the evening). However, there seemed to be some food shortages.....no pasta, hit and miss with French fries at the 24 hour, 2nd toaster at the buffet broken for a number of days creating long line to for toast at breakfast, no soya sauce or garlic for a few days (the rice stir fry for lunch is great......as long as there is garlic and soya sauce). It seemed like there was [... read more] limited fresh fruit also. I would suggest they focus on improving the buffet.. (the Japanese a la cart is WONDERFUL).

Playa Pesquero: Amazing resort !!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The best resort I've ever been in Cuba !!! Was officially opened by Fidel Castro in 2003. Awarded for excellency. There is a wall with all displayed awards. Service was beyond my expectations. The entire staff was extremely friendly, making sure that each and every guest is happy and taken care of. Food was excellent by all means!!! Lobster was served at each restaurant at no extra charge, not to mention it's preparation and presentation right in front of you. On fire!!! Employees a [... read more]re working very hard to keep this resort clean and unique. The long beach is sandy and beautiful. The design of landscape is beyond and above perfection. Huge pool is designed in a way that every day you feel like you are at different resort. You don't feel crowded at all. I recommend to take a private trip to discover best of historical Holguin by iconic taxis from 60th. Ernesto is a professional tour guide and will take you with his driver Lois to the heart of the city where you will learn a lot about Cuban history from it's discovery... very interesting and breathtaking ! Playa Pesquero is a true PARADISE ON EARTH !!! It is a perfect and affordable resort for families with children, couples, singles, groups of friends, cigar fricks, cappuccino lovers etc. There is everything for everyone!!! If you try once - you will be a returning tourist like myself and my husband. Just go there and you won't regret !

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Comfortable and nice resort

Just came back from this resort. What we liked the most - was the beach and the ocean . Room was spacious, beds comfortable. Food very average, poor selection, quality even poorer. A la cart restaurants , specially International and Asian - big disappointment. But this is Cuba. Another disappointment - evening entertainment. We were expecting much much better. Overall - we enjoyed our week in this resort.
