Occidental Punta Cana: sun, beach

Resort was great. We upgraded to the royal club which was great. Beter drink service and food. Our kids booked the regular room rate and there was definitly a difference in the rooms food and bar service. Large resort but there were not alot of activities through the day, Just beach and pool suning

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Good resort for price!

we paid for an upgraded room and it as worth the extra space but not so much the features! it's worth the money i paid (1300$) but not worth any more than that unfortunately. A lot of walking, which may not be good for an older crowd, and far from downtown which isn't great for a younger crowd. It is a good family resort.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Perfect Family Vacation!

Food was great, entertainment was good. Kids loved the Kids Club. The beach looked beautiful but couldn't swim with the little ones as the waves were too big. The pools were nice enough that we didn't even miss not swimming in the ocean. The waterpark was super fun and we loved the little lagoon there with ducks, geese and peacocks hanging out. Our only complaint - and it's a major concern - is the slippery tiles throughout the resort. This place is not for the elderly or people who are not sure [... read more] footed. Make sure the kids don't run! We saw 2 people break bones when they fell and another ended up going to hospital with a head injury after he slipped coming out of the pool.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: As expected

Overall, everything was great: water park, the beach, pools, food-buffet, a la carte. The room was a bit outdated and not enough towels. I like the Royalton area and the fact that it was a cozzy small resort. There were always chairs on the beach.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

This is a very beautiful resort, with the friendliest staff we have had before! The grounds are well kept, the food is great in all restaurants and the staff are all very accommodating. Some of the over the top staff would be Evelynn by the pools doing a great job at making sure everyone is aware of all pool activities and a fantastic personality for this job (Thanks, from Papa Grandee)! Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Awsome resort. Totally beautiful. A Paradise.

Everything was perfect. The hotel its self was beautiful and very clean.The front desk was very informative, and the food in the restaurant in the lobby was fantastik. Coffee was amazing also in the lobby. The people there are very friendly, and nice. I felll in love with the Dominican people. They are so sweet, & work so hard. The ground's are simply beautiful and well kepted. Can't wait to go back again.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful Resort/Friendly Staff

The resort is part of a five property complex where you can visit other resorts via a quick tram ride. It felt like a little town and let us visit new places with our two small children without leaving the resort. Our kids loved the water park (so did we as the water if not deep and we could relax park side)! The beach is beautiful. The pools were great. Very well run, beautiful resort. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful resort

Rooms, pools, grounds and food are wonderful! Staff are all very friendly and kind. Check in and out was very easy. Many activities at the main pool if you would like to take part. We could not drink the wine at all :(

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Good Resort

Hotel was nice, friendly staff, grounds kept very clean. Ocean was beautiful and nice big waves to ride. The pool is really nice and big and very easy to walk into as your didn't need to walk down steps. I personally just found the resort too big. Too much walking and really busy.

Iberostar Waves Dominicana: Great Hotel

Not 1 bad experience. The staff bend over backwards to keep you happy. They work so darn hard. Hotel was much larger than we anticipated. Lots of activities to keep you busy, plus a great show in the evening. They did the Lion King on our last night. Yes we would go back.

Punta Cana Princess: Great Resort

Resort was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good variety of food. Would like to see more chairs around the pool More seating for the nightly entertainment in the lobby. The morining of our meet & greet with rep.. we arrived early.. was told would meet shortly.. that there was a large group. we waited and waited.. finally asked about the meeting.. was told it was moved to one of the restaurants.. and we didn't know.. therefore missed the first 10 minutes of it.. but still found out ab [... read more]out the trips we wished to buy.. and did... Day trip to Santo Domingo was great. We purchase Elite Plus which was great for by passing checkin line ups.. only thing .. on the plane.. we had 1st row .. and the overhead compartments for our carry-on luggage was used by the airline .. therefore we had to find alternative storage.. which I didn't thing was right.

great food, clean rooms, beautiful beaches, great employees. Hector at Riodizio was the best ever! Water in the pools just right, warm but refreshing. Third time there and found more this time. lots of trolleys running all the time.

Excellence Punta Cana: Gorgeous Beach and Fab Resort!

Had a great time at this fabulous resort - the beach was beautiful and long - rough waves but that's okay with us. Lots of place to relax here and no fighting for chairs at beach or pool. Staff were friendly and helpful, always with a smile. Premium liquors, great martinis! A wonderful relaxing time here, would def. recommend!

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Good middle of the line resort

I was happy that there always seemed to be sufficient lounge chairs available. The whole resort was clean and pleasant. The food could be a bit better, at times the selection was a bit limited. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Amazing Resort!

Everything was great about it! Amazing staff, great food and service. Pool area is huge and access to beach is ideal. Would definitely go back again as our family had a great time. Pretty big resort so be ready to do some walking, which is great for all the food and drinks you will be having.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Beautiful location

We returned from Barcelo Bavaro on Feb 6th. We have travelled to all inclusive properties many times over the last 12 years with our children and this resort and beach is one of the nicest we've been too. The rooms are very comfortable, the beach is absolutely beautiful and the food is tastey. Barcelo is a very large resort but we stayed in the Junior Deluxe Suites and found everything easy to walk to.

Punta Cana Princess: after nine years returnees as usual great resort

Accommodations excelent, service and the animation people great. Any requests handled quickly and efficiently. Games organized by staff was excellent and the evening entertainment was entertaining and funny. Looking forward to next year.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: will visit again

beautiful beach it was very clear to the left of the pool bar, nice not to have to worry about reservations times to eat wait was never very long even with a party of 11, rooms were a nice size, room service was excellent

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Very nice resort...however, needs an update!

The resort was very nice. The beach is the best part of this resort as it is huge. The buffet was very good! The restaurants (we tried the Japanese and Mexican) were good. Hotel rooms need an update!!

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Best Resort!!

The administrators have thought of just about everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. And the staff put all the finishing touches!! You can be as secluded as you wish, or be in the midst of entertainment all day long. The choice is always yours!!
