Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing resort for family

We were 2 family of 4 and really enjoy it. I would probably not go there if i was looking for an adult/couple getaway. Kids really enjoy the aqua parc and main pool. Beach was rocky but we knew it so we brought some shoes for it. There was alot of activities and the kids liked the zumba on the beach. Thumbs up to Gisele and Ricardo. Also Azael at the pool bar. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Eco resort

Too big, lots and lots of waking to get anywhere, staff couldn’t keep up to demands of all the guests, pool was filthy too many people in a little pool, no beach. Lineups for food out the door and around the corner... wouldn’t give American change when u bought something always felt like you were being scammed. Neat concept but a real let down.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Amazing resort

Fabulous resort, grounds were gorgeous and very well maintained, staff were always friendly, helpful and hard working, the food in the buffets was good- lots of selection, we really enjoyed the a la carte options with the Japanese being our favourite- a fun interactive show with amazing food!! The pool was gorgeous, a winding pool with lots of areas to relax or be entertained- it never felt crowded . Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Beautiful resort

The resort was well kept. All the staff were over friendly. Food was above average. We would definitely go back. Great for the kids. The river with the electric boats to take you around different spots of the resort is a unique great idea. Just need a few more boats.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Splendid week away

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the week we spent at this hotel. The grounds are very well kept and beautiful. The beach is small but perks are: It is flowing water from nearby lagoon, kept clean of seaweed, and calm to swim despite the current from the lagoon. Sand is like powdered sugar! The staff are warm and friendly. The hotel is located steps away from Xcaret, the Jolly Roger and Captain Hook dinner cruises, and the ferry to Isla Mujeres. The nightly entertainment was top notch.  [... read more] The activities during the day kept people involved. Loved the dance lessons, Zumba, etc. Easy access to the transit with only 12 pesos pp. easy to get around hotel district or into Cancun. The food at the buffet was average. The a la carte food and service at the Mexican, and Italian were top notch! Rooms very clean and convenient. a few minor repairs needed but not worth making a big deal about. The internet provider that the hotel uses was the only disappointing part of our vacation. I don't like paying for something I am unable to use. I was offered 15% back and really should have asked for a full refund. Not a big deal though as the resort was wonderful!

Friendly Fun Vallarta: Resort

We all have a very good time at the Friendly Puerto Vallarta .The staff was very friendly and any thing you wanted or needed they where very happy to help you .I would recommend this resort to anyone .

Flamingo Vallarta: Very relaxing, quiet hotel.

Hotel staff were very nice. Everything was super clean. Cleaning staff did an amazing job on rooms and public areas making sure everything was spotless .very hygienic. Beds very comfortable and food at restaurant was very good. We had a lovely time there. Would go back again.

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: would never stay here again

this was our first trip as a family and my 2 year old got very sick. He was sick for the entire trip. then my 4 year old got sick as well. on top of that our room was next to a disco that played very loud music u till 4am. I almost lost my mind on the 3rd day. it seemed like no one cared and they werent eager to help. we had also run into a handful of people whom also had gotten sick. The rooms are also crawling with ants. i would not recomend this hotel at all.

Posada Real Los Cabos: Small resort

It was a nice resort, great for my mom and being her first time in Mexico. However, it was very small and the amenities shut down very early, which was disappointing, very friendly people though. Food was good but got boring after a couple of days

Hotel Emporio Ixtapa: Amazing service!

While the hotel doesn't have the fanciest rooms it does have a swim up bar, daily activities, a buffet with pretty good food and the best service staff. We didn't mind the room as we didn't spend too much time in it so really it didn't matter too much. Definitely going back within the next year!

Las Palmas by the Sea: A good hotel depicting a lovely ambiance of old Mexico

An older hotel which we found to be very clean from the main lobby and sitting areas, including the public restrooms,the pools areas, the dining facilities and our room.The staff were friendly, polite, aimed to please. and were continually mopping/sweeping , generally making everything clean (no musty odours). The bathroom was quite small & with only a shower and we had only two very small drawers for our personal items so we pretty well needed to live out of our luggage.

Crown Paradise Golden: Nice Resort

I liked the hotel due to it being small in size, service was great from all of the staff throughout the resort. The only negative I had was the service and the food at the international restaurant. The service was slow ,food was not what it stated on menu. A bottle of wine fell on the floor and it sat there the whole time we were in the restaurant. The host of the restaurant was overwhelmed and didn't appear to want to be there.

Holiday Inn Ixtapa: Great resort, beautiful weather and beach

Rooms have been updated and very nice, food only fair, employees excellent and are the main reason we go back to the resort. New management has greatly improved the grounds and the resort is very clean and looks fantastic.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Vacation

Hotel was good but the beds are are very hard and there is a lot of walking and you need to book your restaurants as soon as you get there or there won’t be any available (but when you go to the a la carts they are less than half full so not sure why they make it so hard to book them). It is a 2 hour ride to the resort from the airport the beach is full of seaweed

Princess Mundo Imperial: Good value for money

Almost everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations, except 2 things: 1. There was no tennis available because the Mexican Open Tennis Tournament was being played at the time of our stay. There had been no information about this on the Sunwing booking site. 2. Evening entertainment was OK: 4 or 5 dancers each night. Once or twice was enough. The room was very clean, food& service were good, with excellent food at the Asian restaurant at El Palacio. It is possible to use the f [... read more]acilities at 2 other hotels: El Palacio and Pierre. Shuttles to each hotel are free. The setting is perfect, with 5 pools and the beach. However, the sea view is somewhat obscured by the palapas set up by entrepreneurs at the water's edge. We will happily return next winter, but not at the time of the tennis open.

Breathless Riviera Cancun: Fantastic Vacation

This resort was absolutely gorgeous. This fairly new resort is flawless. The room was the prettiest room that we have ever stayed in. The huge glass shower is very luxurious and the iPad to run the room is unique. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served by very attentive waiters. We were impressed with the fact that every restaurant greeter asked if anyone in our party had allergies. We were in the Exhale club which I highly recommend. All staff went out of their way to make o [... read more]ur stay special. I also liked the fact that it was a smaller resort which made it easy to walk wherever you wanted to go. No need to catch a cart or train. We will definitely return to this resort.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Not up to Sunscape standards

The hotel is nicely located, renovations have made an improvement to bringing this hotel up to Sunscape standards but not there yet. Our experience was troublesome right from the Sun Club checkin. They did not have our room selection available!? They did give us a nice room, however we had to move the next morning, before 11:00am!? It is now 8:20pm and we are just heading to our room! Check in was about 90min!? Next morning...We asked if we were to pack up and they would move our luggag [... read more]e to the new room, when available? We were told no they could not!? We were not offered any solution for storing our luggage, until our room would be available at 3:00!? This is the second day of our holiday and we are basically held captive at the resort as we are detained there because we have no place to put our luggage! We spent another hour of our “holiday time”,discussing this unreasonable request before they agreed to move our luggage to our new room, once they had it ready! Which was what we requested. By this point we are stressed out 🥺 WiFi is only available in the lounge area and not always a strong enough signal, at that. The SunClub food was deserts and sandwiches. Not once in 9 days was there anything else. No vegetables or other food!? Premium alcohol was almost non existent! They didn’t even supply kahlua, it was something else, in a none labeled bottle!? I saw a bottle with maybe 3 oz in it, of Grand Mariner the night we checked in and it was never available or seen again, for the remaining 8 days of our stay, for example. I should have seized the moment! They rest of the trip went about the same. Even in the Sun Club area, we had to ask for loungers, after an entire scanning of the resort, daily there were not enough. The plastic glasses at the bars were washed without a dishwasher. There was never any cutlery at the Grill, to eat with!? Which is probably okay if you want to eat guacamole and salsa, for example, with fingers only😳 Every day there was something not quite up to advertised resort amenities!? The entertainment is lacking also. The quality is fine, there is not much of a selection though. The gym is very small but there is some outdoor space available. Towels, mini bar(I only drank the water) not replaced when room was cleaned, daily. We did tip for every service, every day! JS I could continue with the administrative defects but I’m sure you get the just of my review and how our holiday was. Keeping in mind that Mexico is a different country and service is different there than perhaps Canada and the USA, however the simple basic services and amenities are not where they should be, in my opinion. We have travelled to both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of Mexico, 19 times now, always staying in 4star hotel chains, all inclusive resorts, as well as previously at another Sunscape, and it is my opinion that the management/administration needs work to bring this resort up to its advertised claims. With that said we were very happy with the food, the staff was all ways Mexico 5star; happy, polite and very accommodating. The rooms and common areas were always very clean. The beds were comfortable and we did get to try out 2 different ones 😆

Catalonia Yucatan: AMAZEING TRIP

THE HOTEL WAS NICE FOOD WAS GREAT BARTENDERS WERE AWESOME THE SERVERS WERE PERFECT AND BEST OF ALL IT WAS NICE TO TAKE A HOLIDAY WITH MY HUSBAND IT WAS OUR FIRST HOLIDAY TOGATHER IN 10 YEARS SO FOR MY IT WAS AMAZEING FOR BOTH OFF US THANKS SO MUCH . ANNAMARIE MOSHER

Melia Puerto Vallarta: and it is indeed an amazing resort - in more ways than one - we would give it an A+ for everything except shade. As my husband has had a few melanomas and has been advised not to sit in the sun, it was very difficult to find shady spot on either the lower beach or the pool area- there are many palm trees but they are very tall and do not provide much shade, maybe some more palapas.

We found everything about the grounds interesting and so clean; it was great to be able to just sit on a bench in the lush gardens between the trees and watch the birds fly by, see the turtles among the gold fish, enjoy the various flowers. The pool was so clean at all times. The service from the staff was excellent, always very friendly and accommodating . The food was plentiful and well prepared, the a la carte restaurants had varied menus, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages were p [... read more]lentiful. The room was more than adequate with a great view. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable and very professional. Due to health problems, this was our first southern trip in a few years and it was a very happy experience - we hopefully will return soon.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Not a ‘LUXURY’ hotel

The room/bathroom very dated, in need of major updating. Unable to swim at the beach as the water is just at waist level. - many thanks to Esther Fitz at the front desk. Very nice staff, always smiling and working hard. Grounds very well kept This is definitely not a “Luxury” nor a “five stars” hotel.
