Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: It was excellent!

We went to the Now Jade April 11 2016 and it was so nice. The food was great. Service was great and the beach was amazing. I'd definitely go again!! We brought our kids 6 and 8 and there was plenty for them to do.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Second time at Sian Ka'an-loved it all over again!

Returned in March 2016 for the luxury experience we remembered and were not disappointed. New beach area was nice and the shuttles seemed to run more often. For a quieter experience, ask for a room near the sushi bar/quiet pool area.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Good resort!

Overall the resort was great. The staff where amazing and quick. Food was just ok at most of the restaurants. Beach was fine. Definitely need water shoes if you want to go into the water. We had a great time.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing!

Everybody there was perfect! Food was great! The views and water was amazing! I always had a drink in my hand. Our room was always very clean. I would go back any day. The excursions were also well organized and fun!

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Good resort

Nice resort, not too big. Easy to get around. Good beach and good food. Great service. Japanese restaurant was amazing. We loved the foam party. Liked the fact that it was only a 20 min ride from the airport.

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Best vacation ever!

This resort is AMAZING - I will definitely be back! The service, A+. The food, same. The location could not be better - beach in front, 5th in back. I will be recommending it over and over again, and hopefully be back soon!

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

We were treated like royalty and with opened arms. Food, entertainment and staff were excellent. Cleanliness, welcoming and fun. Lots of things to do such as activities and laughter. We would consider going there again.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Gorgeous resort, great food and people

The property was beautiful, lush, lots of gardens and fauna, very quiet little villas. The room was the standard room with king bed, but it was spacious, modern, great mattress, very clean, flat screen TV and a mini fridge with water, pop and beer, restocked daily. The property has 4 resorts, Kantenah is at the end and there is no entertainment, it is quiet, which is what we were looking for. Entertainment is at Colonial and Riviera lobbies. There are many pools to choose from, you can get a gondola ride around 2 of the resorts, there are flamingos and crocodile enclosures, lots of gardens, wooden bridges throughout the property, looking very serene. The amount of a la carte restaurants was amazing, we liked all we tried, but we could not possibly try them all. The beach is wide and beautiful, however the Riviera side does not have a beach, has to walk over to Whitesands and Colonial beach. And our only complaint was the ocean, we knew Mayan Riviera has corals, but we hoped they won't be everywhere in the water. You need water shoes, you cannot go in otherwise, There is just a little spot at the end of the Kantenah beach where you can hop over the rocks and walk in the water. But there were sting rays there, which was scary, although they swim away if you get close. Other than the corals, I would give it a 5 out of 5.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Royalton Hideaway Riviera Maya Apr.10-17, 2016

Royalton Hideaway is the adult only portion of the larger Royalton complex. It's convenient that the resort is only 15 minutes from Cancun airport. First the good. In general this is an excellent resort. It is very modern and sophisticated, though it would be nice if it looked a little more "Mexican" - it does not have much local character, and could be a resort anywhere in the world. You sit in comfortable couches & they bring you whatever you want from the bar until they process you. I believe this also allows you to avoid the dreaded timeshare pushers, as we did not get accosted at all. As noted in most reviews, the buffet and restaurants are excellent - easily the best food we have had in any all inclusive. Rooms are modern, well equipped, clean, and everything works - WIFI very good. Service from check-in staff, restaurant staff, cleaning staff, etc. is excellent. Essentially nothing to complain about at all, but here are a few suggestions for improvement: We stayed at the Hideaway with a swim up room. In hindsight, we would not have paid extra for this - the swim up pools are shaded much of the time by the upper balconies, so the water tends to stay quite cool, and you find yourself chasing the sun. The deck next to the swim up pool also is narrow and does not have room for a chaise that we have had in other swim ups such as at the Valentin - only chairs. This tends to defeat part of the reason that we booked the swim up - to avoid the hassle of trying to "reserve" a chaise around the pool or at beach. Which brings up the one real problem of 'those" people "reserving" the few chaises with some shade at 7 am - the resort simply needs more shaded chaises. Another improvement would be to have a hotel shuttle service into Playa or Cancun for excursions - the resort isn't far from either city, but cabs are quite expensive. Even though nobody goes on vacation to Mexico to watch TV, it is nice at night to keep up with what's going on at home. Given the number of Canadians that vacation here, couldn't at least one of the news channels be Canadian - there were American, British, German, Italian, Chinese, etc. Other than that all good. Do not hesitate to stay here.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Good resort

The hotel was nice and clean. Grounds were perfect and nicely groomed. Food was very excellent. Only negative was buffet wasn't very big , but had what you needed. Rooms were spacious and clean as the room fridge was stocked regularly. Pools were clean and had games going on most of the day. The shows at night were really good. Better then I'd expect. Props to all the star friends for putting on a good show and taking care of all the guests to keep them busy.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Beautiful Family Vacation

Stayed at the Maya Colonial, beautiful resort. Exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous beach, crystal clean water. There were some rocky spots, but the water is so clear you can avoid them. Pools were huge and never felt overcrowded. Plenty of activities to keep 3 active teenagers interested all week. Food was great, lots of choices. We purchased the Wi-Fi for the week for 45.00, I was skeptical because all the negative reviews I had read on the horrible Wi-Fi connection, however for some reason we  [... read more]never had an issue. The kids had to share the login code and it could only be used on one device at a time. We were told by guests services that we could only get connection in our room, lobby and restaurants, but they got connection on the whole resort even at the pools and the beach. While I realize we spend a lot of money to be away from the technology it was nice to still have that connection and the kids were respectful of our time together. Stayed April 2016

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Beautiful and amazing resort

This resort was stunning, lush palm trees, great food, excellent service, very clean and maintained. Out of all the Barcelona resorts, the Colonial was the best, fewer rock and better beach. All the immenities were at your finger tips and localized.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Very clean and modern

Perfect week, weather, resort was modern and clean, food was gourmet. Staff were friendly and hard working. They did everything they could to make your trip great. Room had king bed with excellent mattress and jicuzii spa.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Very nice. Very big. Very Busy.

If you like big spanding resorts with lots of nice things to look at, this is for you. If you want a more personal experience with attentive service not so much. Not enough staff to handle the demand. For the most part everyone is friendly but too busy. Beach is narrow and on an incline but clean and nice enough. Tough to enter the water in many areas. Pools are all nice. So busy we could only get very very late dinner reservations. Its like a small city here. Dreams Riviera Cancun: We had a great week

The beach area around the beach chairs could have been much cleaner,, lots of straws, cigarette butts, bottle caps etc. There was lots of sea weed but the staff did the best they could to stay ahead of it.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Best place on earth

This was our second time at sands plya car and like the first time there IT WAS GREAT!!!!!, the staff was always there to help with anything we needed, the grounds were well landscaped, food and drinks were great and the beach and water was second to none, I would recommend this resort to anyone, I will be there again before to long, it really is the best place on earth

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Very nice Resort

The staff was amazing they could not do enough for us. the resort was small and very clean. The only issue we had was the quality of the food, meat was tough, always cold especially the buffet. Not my first resort and never experienced food being so cold and for a Secrets resort we expected much better. I would not return for that reason and if I did recommend to anyone I would make sure they were aware of the food issue. Several guest expressed the same about the food

The Reef Coco Beach: Not for a young adventurous crowd

Key points from the hotel: very clean and staff were amazing. Food wasn't great and you have to pay for 2 of 3 a la carte restaurants. It is an extremely tiny resort, therefore night life was essentially non-existent. They had a show every night (not very good) and after the show it was a ghost town. The beach had boats docked at all times so no catamaraning and no beach volleyball either. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it unless it's an older couple who wants to lay around the pool all day. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Very nice

Loved the service and the food was amazing, the suite was clean and housekeeping service efficient. The shows are no good if you are going for that, forget it. The beach is not very nice, but at a walking distance you can get to a very nice lagoon or a very nice beach. The service staff is really friendly. We loved our stay! There is so much to do around the area! We hired a private company for the tours and were pleased and had a wonderful experience with them. Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: was nice, clean, modern resort

grounds and all area were very nice and kept, was all very picturesque!! Our family enjoyed the resort, especially the pools , the food was great, all the employees were excellent!! Will definately like to return!
