Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

This resort is very green and lush. The food at the buffet is very good and some of the a la cartes are very good. We travelled with 6 other people ages 50 to 60 and we all agreed that this resort was very good. The seaside grill (steak ) and the oceana (sea food ) were very good and the Italian and French not so much. The buffet had everything you could ask for so I didn't mind going there instead of a la cartes. We went from february 10th to the 17th and it looked at full capacity so sometimes [... read more] when we went to the a la cartes we had a long wait(it didn't help that we were 8 people) but if we found the wait to long we went to the buffet. All the workers were very nice and helpful except for the waiter at the french restaurant. If the resort is full the chairs at the pool get reserved early and also at the beach. Sometimes we wanted to sit at the pool in the afternoon after the beach but there were no chairs to be found. The same at the beach... we went early and had no problems but saw people looking hard for chairs later in the morning. The beach is very nice but we are used to the beach around the bahia principe which is much nicer but we were fine with it. We had a very nice holiday and would not hesitate to recommend this resort. p.s I see in the reviews that some people complain about the rooms...we found our room very nice(deal of the day). We knew that it wasn't big and had no dresser so we brought extra hangers and there are shelves in the closet so it was just fine.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Amazing Vacation at Dreams Punta Cana

I visited Dreams Punta Cana for the third time from Feb 12-18 (first two visits in 2010 & 2011). I was a bit nervous that the resort would not be as nice, since it had been 6 years since I had last visited. I was VERY happy to discover that the resort was just as INCREDIBLE as it had been with my previous two visits. I was there with my cousin to celebrate our milestone birthdays. Every single member of their staff made our vaca [... read more]tion an absolutely unforgettable one (from the bartenders, to the waiters, to the bell boys, to the security guards, to the grounds keepers, to the wonderful animation team). We were treated like royalty all week. Our vacation at Dreams was the BEST birthday gift we could possibly have received. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room on the first floor, which was not ideal – I prefer an upper floor, but we decided to not complain and accept it anyway (we are not there to spend much time in the room). However, when we entered the room, it had a VERY strong musty smell (this is my 12th visit in Dominican Republic, so I am aware that the rooms can smell a bit due to the high level of humidity, but this one was VERY bad). In addition, the safe in the room was broken. A quick trip back to the check in desk and we were switched right away, no problem. Our second room (on an upper level) was much better. That really was the only hiccup during our trip. I have absolutely NO other complaints regarding this property. We tried the spa on our second day since it was raining. We were treated to a WONDERUL white chocolate body scrub, a chocolate body wrap, a full body massage, champagne and chocolate truffles. It was absolutely DIVINE! We felt like absolute princesses. So relaxing! The food at Dreams was really good. Always something really good to eat. We tried the main buffet, the beach side grill, the Japanese (a la carte AND the teppanyaki grill) and the steak house and really enjoyed each and every single one. Like I mentioned previously, the Dreams staff is absolutely a gem! They truly made our week unforgettable. They got us dancing every evening and laughing every day. We had so much fun with the entire animation team (to name a few: Juana, Benjamin Franklin, Jhonny Be Good, Yesson, Crazy Boy, Skinny Boy, Super Luis). I truly hope they are recognized for their tireless efforts EVERY day ensuring guests are having the best time of their lives. Another really sweet staff member I must mention is Domingo (one of the grounds keepers, but was training to become a bell boy on our last day). We had met him 6 years ago and he remembered us. Such a sweetheart. I would absolutely return to Dreams with NO hesitations!

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Amazing!!!

Another amazing stay at Dreams Riviera Cancun! This was our 3rd time at the hotel and it won't be our last. Everything was great; from the hotel grounds, staff and service to the food and drinks. We will definitely be returning.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Incredible resort

This resort was amazing from the grounds, the food, the staff and the beach! Our swim up room was the best and the pool just perfect. There was even free range on resort peacocks and flamingos. There were so many excursions to choose from and awesome on resort night life. There is literally something for everyone, even an "explorers club" for the kids. I can't say enough good about the food as well. We always felt safe and relaxed. Much needed and enjoyed 10 day vacation. Oh and we went for a  [... read more]wedding and it was stunning and perfect. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Mediocre

Pushy uncaring people, poor service....would gladly go back to Cuba over Dominican after this experience Not much seafood if that is your thing. Had to personally call roomservice more than once just to have toilet paper

Dreams Los Cabos: Excellent stay

Grounds are great and very well kept, beach is beautiful but with undertow there's no swimming in it. We thought the room (had a bed suite) was great and all have ocean views. Could have been at least one more ala carte restaurant but we really enjoyed the ones they have - ate at both the French and the Mediteranean restaurants twice we liked them so much. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Perfect wedding destination!!

The grounds were Wonderful, it was truly a dream to be there. We had our wedding here and everything went so well very easy to work with. Although very little communication between staff it seemed.. The resort is family friendly if your child is 3 or over. Kind of disappointed that you could only go into the child explorers club for 30 min a day since our son was one month shy of his third birthday. The food is great lots of choices. I would definitely recommend the preferred club as well.

Dreams Huatulco: Wonderful family vacation

Recently had a one week vacation at Dreams Huatulco with our daughter and two grandchildren aged 6 and 8. It was absolutely fabulous...especially the staff. They were so wonderful with the kids...and there were always activities going on for them to enjoy. Dancing, car races, swimming, Explorers' Club - the kids enjoyed it all, which made it easy for the adults to enjoy it all! Very clean resort, reasonable food, fabulous service, wonderful hot weather...it was a great week for everyone!

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Very good family resort

The resort is a little far from the Airport in Cancun (about 1 ½ hrs). But for the family vacation it's great. They have an organized day care for the kids with qualified members and a Schedule for the hole day. That way the parents can have a little leasure time of their hown. The beach is well maintained and there is a sector selected for safe swimming, but found some big rocks at the deaper end so you must be careful. Entertainment is arranged throughout the day if you which to participate.  [... read more]The food is available between both pools for snacks and waiters serve the drinks to you just for the asking, of coarse tips are well accepted but you don't have to. They have night Entertainment buffet and shows every nights included in your package, no other cost to you. I do recommend this resort for a good family vacation.

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Fantastic

We loved everything , the food was great the Japanese restaurant was my favorite The room was amazing over looking the pool. The people were helpful and very attentive I'm a beautiful area ? Loved the playful monkeys If you have the chance do the mega tour it was awsome

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great value

Great for families Beautiful grounds Great food, a la carts especially Beach was beautiful and the pool too. My only complaint is that the bar closes at 2am Other than that room service was inclusive and awesome

Dreams Huatulco: awesome resort

Everything was you notch food Beach. Room and staff excellent pools. Japanese restaurant food was amazing the spa and massage therapist s were very good and professional.. night shows and mariachi band. We're awesome. Bar staff very friendly. All round perfect relaxing resort

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great resort. Had a wonderful time.

Grounds and pools are wonderful. The food was great at both the restaurants and the buffet. The staff were just wonderful and very helpful. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms could use a facelift. Could also use luggage racks in the rooms. Would definitely go back.

Dreams Huatulco: Can't beat the weather

The weather at Huatulco is awesome. Didn't appreciate the Unlimited Club people selling their membership. Wasn't a great way to start a relaxing trip. The food was good, but not great. The service was good not great with the exception of a few servers. Great selection of drinks. The resort was well looked after. Very clean resort. The rooms were good and clean. The preferred club option is a cash grab. No extra services provided for the extra money. The beach chair saving game w [... read more]as pretty bad during our trip. Overall I would rate the resort as good.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Dreams Palm beach

This resort was very nice and clean staff was great, we had to our room changed when we got there due to musty smell but the staff move us within minutes which was great, the beach in front of our resort was cleaned every day but the ones beside our resort didn't get cleaned every day. Other wise the food was good resort good employees very nice.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Luxury Resort

The resort was magical with tropical gardens, flamingos, peacocks, fish ponds, amazing beach, nicely decorated rooms all with immediate pool access and content staff that was always happy to see you. The explorer club was loved by our 3 year old and the staff were excellent with the kids. Our room cleaner was very caring and our room always looked beautiful with fresh flowers. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Forever in my Dreams

I haven't travelled much but from what I've experienced at this resort just set an extremely high bar for any other resort. The food never disappoints, the employees all care about making you comfortable and well looked after. The grounds are well looked after and spotlessly maintained. The night time shows were outstanding. We are going to miss this one until next time.

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Exceptional

We went with a group of 14, mostly couples. The resort was beautiful, the food super and the weather perfect. The rooms were great but the curtain between the bathroom and bedroom was very odd and should be changed. I give the resort a 9/10 I would highly recommend

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Reasonable Value for Money

Family room is much much too small for 6 people. It should not be advertised for 6 people. Lack of chairs on the beach. Food is not great but acceptable. Entertainment is good. Very friendly staff. Resort is kept reasonably clean.

Dreams Huatulco: Fantastic resort

The hotel staff were very welcoming from the moment we stepped out of the van, bringing cool towels and cool refreshing drinks. We were checked in immediately and waited about 1 hour for our room. We explored while waiting. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Grounds were very well looked after and you could always see someone cleaning. The rooms were welcoming and spotless, they were cleaned each day, plus a tidy up in the evening.
