Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Good Resort

Grounds were clean, staff friendly. buffet food was ok if you searched out something you could eat. Ala carte was better. very busy and loud beach. not a place for a quiet holiday. lots of young families.

Riu Bambu: Excellent Resort

This resort is beautiful, in the process of completing full renovations to all units. The grounds are immaculate, the pools are very nice, and the food was superb. The beaches of course are second to none, perfect for long walks!

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: amazing service with a smile

To start the grounds are extreamely clean. Rooms were clean and beautifull. Food was exceptional and service was topnotch. Very large resort but trollys made getting around easy. Would recommed and go back resort credits are not worth it though

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Love it

This resort is just excellent!!! Me and my wife arrived on January 22/16 for 7 days.The staff are very friendly the food is excellent .. The beach was amazing and the pool.We absolutely LOVE IT will go again ...

Vista Sol Punta Cana: Great resort

It's a very nice resort. All common area including bathrooms always clean. Food was average. Not much waiter service in Buffet ! Walkways on grounds are oddly laid out. Swim up Rooms very nice. Cheers!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Nice resort

Decent resort although very busy, this was our second time there and last. It is big which we don't mind but found to many small kids this time that were loud. Also our plane home was cancelled and resort staff would not negotiate and a better rate for the one night extra we had to stay. They wanted $360 and the airline would only offer $250 for us, given we were there last year, just spent ten days there this time and they had rooms available we thought they should have done something for us so [... read more] we didn't have to transfer to another hotel for one night, they did nothing for us and were rude, we will not go to another Gran Bahia resort again! I would have thought that given they could make $250 instead of nothing for the night and keep their returning guests happy they would oblige, good business sense to me but no! As it turned out the Westin in Punta Cana where we were transferred to had much more comfortable beds, nicer bathroom and towels, the AC in the room actually kept you cool and the two meals we had were much better than the GB Bavaro. Gran Bahia resorts do not care about you, your needs or if you ever come back, and we won't be back.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Great resort for families!

This hotel is between a 3.5 star and 4. We were a couple that didn't being our kids and found the resort better for families than couples. The pool area was a bit too busy for us, but there were lots of quiet spots on the beach. Nice beach with swimming areas and a big bonus is that you can snorkel. Next time I would get a superior room instead of standard. The food was good and Japanese restaurant is the best a la carte. We stayed 11 days and it was an overall great trip :)

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Great trip!

The resort is not terribly large, which I liked. We stayed in the Cayenna building and it was fantastic location, close to pool, beach and restaurants. Great staff... near everyone was incredibly friendly. Food was ok, I had read reviews that a la cartes were amazing, but I only really enjoyed the Asian and Mexican... the others I wouldn't bother with and was tough to get a decent reservation time despite the restaurants being nearly empty each time we went. Shows weren't that great... we only attended 1 and a few minutes of another.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Value for your money

Rooms are clean and modern furniture. Pools and beach excellent and never had a problem finding a chair. Many choices of where to eat. Staff very friendly. Grounds are amazing. transfer from airport to this resort for quick.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Exceeded my expectations, great family vacation.

Our room was very clean & modern, kept fully stocked by housekeeping. We had somebody follow up with us the same day we arrived to make sure our room was OK and showed us how to use the TV properly. The grounds were well manicured and maintained. Restaurants had great variety which was great for my two picky eaters.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: love this resort

The food is fantastic...the grounds are beautiful and the resort itself is so pretty.and .very clean. The staff really go out of their way to make you welcome. We upgraded to the honeymoon suite...worth every penny.

Secrets Royal Beach: An Incredibley Beautiful Resort

The pictures of this resort are not a lie. The property is lush, tropical, mature. Stunning views from every room. So, so clean rooms. Quiet at night and fun during the day. But, plenty of quiet (and private) spots for the recluse. We have travelled to so many resorts over the years. Royal Beach was beautiful and every single staff is interested in your happiness there. Entertainment was excellent. Food is excellent. Check in with Gandrey at the pool. We loved this guy!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: resort review

Food was amazing, but we found the resort much to large and impersonal, we decided to try a 5 star to see the difference, but actually felt we received less then lower star resorts we were required to wake up early to reserve a chair by the pool or the ocean or we would not have one for the day, we made reservations at the steak house but none of the employees new were it was after 1 hour of being taken to different areas of the resort we ended up insisting we eat at another spot . Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Beautiful place

Travelled on Jan 23rd. It was a beautiful place, amazing beach and very clean. The rooms were great. Staff was friendly. Wifi was only in the lobby and was choppy at times. Food was ok. The BBQ restaurant was the best a la carte. The resort itself is huge. 5 resorts in one but you don't feel it cause there's buses that are constantly going to and from the beach/lobby. I would definitely recommend the place.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Stunning resort!

We had a great time! Resort had plenty to do for the week. Beach is beautiful, nice sand and aqua blue ocean. Hotel grounds beautiful. Service was great at the Ambar too. We would recommend this resort for sure! Cheers!

Occidental Punta Cana: some updates needed

This resort was built before its neighbours on either side, Palladium and Princess, and its infrastructure is beginning to show its age. For instance we had to call maintenance for a malfunctioning toilet and a minor roof leak. On the other hand the resort is clean, we found all staff helpful and friendly , and it is on the incomparable Bavaro beach. We especially liked the beachside Seafood restaurant. We would recommend this resort to travellers who focus on Sun and sand and are generally not  [... read more]fussy. The cost was at least 10% lower than neighboring larger resorts, as well.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Amazing, relaxing vacation

Beautiful resort....well maintained and amazing staff. Large resort but easy to get around to the Palace or golf course and found walking to be faster than waiting for the train. Food was good and very consistent from day to day at the buffet restaurants. Sante Fe steakhouse at the Palace was our favourite a la carte and reservations were never a problem. No swim up bar on adult side which keeps things quiet but servers constantly around so very easy to get drinks....pool was very clean and spen [... read more]t much time there. Adult side is quiet and low key and rooms are older then the palace but everything worked and bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended for couples and golfers...staff at the course were great and 19th hole restaurant was awesome

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great vacation!

We have been going to Luxury Bahia Ambar for several years and overall have been very pleased with the resort, the beach, and the service received. We also enjoy flying out of Hamilton and have found that Transat Vacations do a great job with the arrangements.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Beautiful Vacation Resort

The hotel, staff, food, rooms, service - all of it was the best. We had a perfect family vacation. The grounds were beautiful, I really do not have any complaints about this resort. One improvement could be the shows at night at the theatre. They were OK but could have been better.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Great Everything!!!!!!!

We stayed January 2016, the overall resort is fantastic. Lovely grounds well maintained, the staff is excellent, especially Luis from the entertainment team. The food we thought was great, good selection and flavour. The buffet is big, get the pizza!! The beach is cleaned of seaweed all the time. Room for great walks and the sales people don't bother you if your not interested. What a fantastic trip!!!
