Brisas Santa Lucia: Worst trip everI have
I have been to Brisa Santa Lucia 20 times before and always enjoyed it other than the fact Sunwing usually screws up baggage or extra stops you find out about 2 weeks before you leave, but this time the Russian tourists were there in full force. They are by far the pushiest most ignorant, greediest tourists I have ever come across. They literally push you aside in line , step on your feet, and fill their plates with everything they can get on them, yes them. They usually have 2 or 3 plates per p [... read more]
Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Awesome resort!
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation at the Sanctuary. We had a big beautiful room with a king size comfortable bed, spend some days drinking, swimming and tanning by the pool, spent the others hanging out at the beautiful beach with clear waters, non-stop drinks and burger grill right there. I have no idea why people have negative things to say about Cuban food; this was not our experience. The lunch and breakfast buffets exceeded our expectations! We ate a never ending amoun [... read more]
Melia Marina Varadero: The Level only
Resort, marina, and beach are all beautiful. Would only recommend staying here with “The Level†package because of the private dining. The resort buffet was horrible and there is no way we could eat there for a whole week.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Great food
The food was amazing! Staff was great! Only 1 option for 24 hr food, if youre hungry. Had to chase down for bottles of water in the rooms. Beach was nice. More of a relaxing resort, not recommended if you want to party at all. Would definitely go back to Cuba, trying a different reaort next time.
Hotel Rancho Luna: You get what you pay for
I traveled with five friends who have been to Rancho Luna in the past and with some reviews I traveled with no expectations for service or quality. The food quality was limited. If you are picky or fussy in even a little way you probably should go to a much more quality place or no even go to Cuba. The restriction on Cuba show up even greater in these lower end resorts/hotels. Food variety was very limited but there was rice, chicken, pork and pasta most days with good fresh breads. We changed [... read more]
Hotel Rancho Luna: Better than expected
After rejecting first room (previous occupant a smoker) second was O.K. if on the small side for two. Clean but only one A/C setting, i.e. frigid. Took a few days to fix safe lock. Room service was good. Lots of food but of poor quality. Had to ask for some basics on several occasions. Restaurant staff were pleasant and friendly. Very good restaurants nearby. Bar service was satisfactory. Coffee inferior. Spacious grounds. Great beach although white sand a little rough. Don't be reluctant to s [... read more]

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Really nice time
Beaches are incredible. Food was very good and accommodations as well. Staff were excellent. We had a really good time. A little weird that the new renos for the bathroom didn't have a door, but we survived.
Hotel Vigia: Great Little Resort
Hotel was older, as expected, low staff and low occupancy and also saw a lot of rooms not using or under renovation. Visited here Nov 23-30 2019 and never saw rain, always sunny with a couple spotty cloud days. No more nude beach as the MGM is fully open and taken up the older west beach area. However, discreet suntan lines could get worked on to the east, just before the hobies and kayaks at the last few palapas. Food was ok, lotta repeats, omelettes and stir-fry if you wan't greater than roo [... read more]
Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: amazing resort
No complains at all. Rooms clean and very good cleaned. Food very good with lot to choose. Swimming pools nice and clean. service excellent. no mosquitos at all. We walked to Grand Muthu Imperial hotel (5 minutes walk) and were shocked how empty, quiet and very dark in the evening. We were lucky we stayed in Grand Muthu Cayo Guliermo. Only what we missed is local village or town to walk around and see real life in Cuba.
Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Beautiful Beach
The good: The beach was stunning. Beach chairs were hard to find most days but luckily I brought our own. The staff amazing. Pool bar staff were incredible and snack bar staff were lovely too. The bad: food was the worst I have ever had in Cuba. Weekend maids did nothing but hide in corners on their phones. No towels. And I got a chemical burn from the pool. Beach bar was run by mostly women which is fantastic. Used to only be men who could bar tend in Cuba. However they were also on their pho [... read more]
Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Great Resort and beautiful beach
We had a great family time at the resort. Pros: Wonderful resort, great shows, beach close to resort and private, good pools. Rooms were good Cons: Food(Bland - no spices) less - no vegetarian option
Hotel Rancho Luna: Hotel Rancho Luna
The hotel sits on a sprawling well maintained property on the S shore of central Cuba close to the city of Cienfuegos. The buildings and rooms are tired and need to be upgraded, and it looked like efforts were being made to improve. Our room was dark and musty and the bathroom was moldy. The hotel failed in the food department. Being an island state I was surprised that fresh fish/seafood was not readily available. Cold cuts and salads were being recycled on a daily bases and I was tired of e [... read more]
Sol Turquesa Beach: Nice resort
Everything is good, rooms and housekeeping is 5 stars. Hotel settings and organization, including staff 5 stars, food is very good only should be little more adjusted to older clients, (over 50) beach is 5 stars, the only little minus are bugs. That must be adjusted. Right behind the beach, there is pond of fresh water with mangrowes plants, and it is haven for many different bugs that MUST BE DRAINED BECAUSE IT IS HAVEN FOR BUGS. Everything else is 5 stars, WE WILL PROBABLY GO AGAIN. THANKS.
Club Kawama: club kawama awful resort
dirty pillows, stinky blankets dont know the last time they were washed stinky room with poor service,,staff took forever to fix our safe..we paid for it they were quick to get our money but super slow to fix the safe..we got contamination from food and or water.unhygienic place..even the animals look unwell.awful resort will never go back.
Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Best Vacation Getaway!
Amazing resort, nice and friendly staff that make you feel welcomed. Cozy and comfortable lobby (open 24 hours) to hang out and have awesome selection of drinks.. Great food at buffet, and a snack bar (also opened 24 hours) with anything from burgers to pizza. Not to mention the amazing pools and clear blue beach!! I will definitely be going back! 5 stars!! *****
Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: What a Lovely Experience!
We were able to walk the length of this Resort twice each day after meals for exercise. Exceedingly pleasant and helpful staff,:from Janitors to Managers. Clean beaches & spacious (I do not use public pools). Rooms are well kept, although we killed a few small roaches (cucarachas). But I did not report it. Management could be more pro-active in the information category: 1) Provide written info in each Apt./Room (Habitación), e.g.: Tel #s to dial for Reception, Office, etc. I usually visit [... read more]
Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Beautiful staff, beautiful beach!
Excellent staff who welcomes all like family. Grounds are immaculate. Beach is clean, lots of chairs and gorgeous clear water. Excellent kite school with lessons available. Kiting here is the best location in Cayo Coco/Cayo Guillermo. Great value for the price.
