Melia Las Americas: Great place for a golf trip

Even though the weather wasn't great, we still had a great trip, mostly due to how well we were treated at this resort. Very convenient to the golf course as well. The total cost for the trip was really good. The staff at the resort were really friendly and helpful, the food was good (particularly the Japanese and Italian restaurants), and it was a really comfortable place to stay at. We even quite enjoyed the shows.

Memories Jibacoa: Gem in Cuba

The staff are the gems at this beautiful resort. They bend over backwards to please and serve you. A green lush setting backing onto a hill. A great beach with fabulous snorkelling right there! Food had lots of choices & flavours with amazing presentation. Awesome coffee. Large rooms, Furniture needs updating but adequate for our use. Was a lovely time!

Grand Memories Varadero: Great resort

The hotel was good, the food was OK, just really disappointed the we did not have good weather, would have liked to see a few more choices for drinks as I only drink alcohol on the rocks. Overall very friendly people

Sol Varadero Beach: Very nice holiday resort

This was my 2nd time staying at this resort. The grounds and beach are wonderful. The people are very friendly and accommodating. The building itself is dated but the rooms are clean and since we only slept in the room it was not an issue. The food is good for Cuba but do not eat the beef as they do not know how to cut it therefore it is super tough even the hotel cats didn't want to eat it

Melia Marina Varadero: Amazing resort

Great food, great staff, superb resort with 4 international restaurants. The beach area is located outside the resort, 3min walk, but great! Couldn't find a single thing disappointing! Highly recommended, hope to go there again! Only buy all inclusive as it is an expensive hotel!

Starfish Varadero: fun time at Aguas

Lots of improvement at this hotel . Great food . Service was great . Management on site for the entire time we were there. We had lobster on 3 occasions . Maid service was slow . Lots Improvement needed in the public washrooms .

Starfish Varadero: very basic as tu get for investisement

Basic installations, same eating as basic and nothing better at restaurant ( better before five years ago) need to improvise at bouffet to have great lunch, drinks and shows wery apreciated, animators helping to have great playing times durings brakes times, take care about rainning days to planified outside attraction, nice beach and sports areas...be ready to enjoy and just do it !

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Principessa Del Mar is not 5 star!!!

Do not be lured by the promise of Butler and elevated level of service. Does not happen and NOT worth the extra $$$. A few small, simple requests took so long to get and only after many phone calls and visits to reception. Also note, a pillow menu is promoted but it doesn't seem to exist. The only good thing was private transport to/from airport which I could have planned myself anyway. Beach is nice. So many pool tiles unglued ( on the bottom and side of pool). No towels for beach or pool in Ro [... read more]yal Service one day. This hotel pool will definitely need large scale maintenance in the next year or two. Food selection was limited. Portions in a la carte were tiny. Some caring staff that focus on service, but their best efforts are undermined by the majority who don't care. Letter to manager of Royal Service remains unanswered.

Club Karey: Disgusting Unsanitary Hotel

Mold in every room. Wife developed a cough and had breathing issues we can only attribute to the conditions. Bed bugs will devour you. Leaking ceilings windows and doors. Rooms flooded when it rains. Paint peeling everywhere. Dining room is disgusting and food is reused and always cold. Cats allowed in dining room and will spray your hand bags if left on the floor. Memories Jibacoa: Wonderful resort!

This small beautiful resort has wonderful staff and many guests who return repeatedly. The grounds are gorgeous. There is coral just off shore. Great tennis pro. Lovely spacious rooms. Very good food and entertainment. A relaxed and refreshing holiday.

Grand Memories Varadero: Good resort

Rooms where great and Jen was our fantastic maid we stayed in the "adult " side. pools where great, but underused as it was cooler and raining lots this January. Restaurants and buffet had lots of choices Was pretty good for Cuba. The resort was full so if you don't like crowded lobby bar and restaurants this may not be for you. Hotel Bella Costa: Great resort!

Grounds were spotless and we're maintained every day. The main buffet and restaurants were a 5 star! Staff were very curtios and helpful. Balcony room was very good, great Oceanview room! Entertainment was exceptional!

Memories Jibacoa: Great place to stay!

The resort was just the right size! Pool was great! Staff were very friendly and continue to ask you if everything is meeting your expectations! The team exceeded my expectations that's why it was one of the best resorts I have stayed at!

Starfish Cuatro Palmas: Great vacation!

This was my first time in Cuba, I loved it, will definately go back. Will stay at the Cuatro Palmas again, what a great resort. It's not too big, so easy to find your way around. My first night I was in a room overlooking the bar across the street, was very loud. Got a pool side room the next day, much better. The beach was amazing, and I loved the buffet, good selection of food with friendly, attentive staff. Overall, a great experience!

Melia Marina Varadero: Great Resort

The hotel was very nice and the people pleasant and extremely helpful in all ares .The weather was not so nice , it rained for three out to seven days and was overcast on the sixth day. This is expected. In the month of Jan ,We made the best of the vacation . Future don't think I would go this close to Flordia too unpredictable , I would defintely recommend the hotel . Barcelo Solymar: Quite outdated

This hotel was quite outdated not only in terms of decor, but also functionality. Our bath tub was clogged for the entire stay and not cleaned properly. The bed sheets were old and had some holes. The buffet had the same food every day. The a la crate restaurants were great (tried The International, Don Quijote and Mexican), except for the Mexican, that was quite watered down. The shows were amazing. There was no club after the shows and not much other entertainment during the day.

Memories Jibacoa: Best resort we've stayed at in Cuba

- beach was rocky but the snorkling was fantastic - pool area was clean with lots of shaded areas - rooms were a bit run down but they were clean. - it was a rainy week but there were lots of tv channels to choose from to occupy the time at night - it's not a far drive from varadero or Havana if you want to get off the resort - the frozen drinks are disappointing but the food was generally very good. Much better than any other show I've seen in Cuba. - It's a quiet resort. You won't find any partying here, which is exactly what we were looking for. - There were some issues with WIFI but this was hands down the best internet I've ever had in Cuba and very reasonably priced.

Starfish Jibacoa: Good resort great reef

Good resort for snorkeling and scuba diving lots of fish and very nice corals the grounds are kept clean. the staff are all very friendly. the issues that people where complaining about was the food I had no problem finding something to eat but for the price you can not complain.

Barcelo Solymar: great!

Firstly, the food was meh.. I mostly ate off of the resort. Bring hot sause or other condiments you enjoy. That would be the only bad thing I could say about this resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this resort to any young people looking for a great time and a party! Party at the pool bar every night. I had the best time of my life and plan to return next year!
