Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing resort

We stayed for 8 nights at the Sian Kaan Bahia Principe Hotel. Our stay was magnificent. We had use of all 4 resorts. We loved both the a la carte's and buffet. The staff were outgoing, friendly and helpful. The resort was clean and well maintained. The only drawback is the 1 hour and 20 minute drive from the airport. Overall, I would recommend this to anybody who enjoys being pampered and enjoy luxury service at a reasonable price

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Exceptional Resort !!!

Highly recommend the Azul Five By Karrisma. I have been to the Mayan 7 times. This resort by far was the best resort by far. Gourmet food, exceptional service and miles of beach. I will return !!!!!!!!!!

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Fun in the Sun

The 4 things I didn't like first ; 1.The beds were hard and the Pillows tall. 2.The Coffe didn't have any bite must be made for Americans ? 3.The Eggs ,Bacon,Sausage tasted like they were cooked in the same Oil normally I am a big fan of Greasy fried Food 4.Further down from the Beach the huge quanatys of Plastic washed up on the shore was a little desturbing . Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Amazing!

We recently visited this beautiful resort! We travel a lot, and stayed at many resorts before, but this was perfect!! The staff really cared about you, and really treated you like a queen and king! The rooms are very clean and zen like, they really pay attention to detail, as the entire resort is very zen and beautiful! We definitely will return! Excellence Riviera Cancun: very very good... not great

This is a spotless, well maintained resort that situated very conveniently, transfers are easy as is check in. There is some room for improvement on the food ,it was good, but not great. Customer service is fantastic across the board. It would also be nice is there was a little more "action" around the pool area in the afternoon.

Catalonia Yucatan: Small Resort With A Big Heart

Resort staff is amazing there can say enough about everyone there they went above to help and make my stay there unforgettable. The resort is a smaller one but from the food to the grounds everything is amazing , there are three pools one is a little quieter then the other we had a room overlooking the pool and the ocean second floor 3122 I believe. The beach is small so if you are a beach lover and like to walk this is not for you, there are plenty of beach chairs we never had a problem finding [... read more] one but yes people do leave there towels on them to reserve them. There is a lounge in the one side that has live music and dancing there they are busy so get there early...and they do put on shows every night , there is a board that is by the Brisbane buffet and they post all the events for the resort there. Always something going on or if you just want to relax that works to. you can leave the resort and walk down to the Marina where there are shops and dolphins and sea lions great place to run early in the morning.They do list the travel form the airport to the resort as one hour but with all the drop offs it is more like two just so you know, but worth the drive time...Go Enjoy....

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Great time, so much to see

Was a great resort, very clean, well maintained. Food was very good, variety was great. Staff was very helpful when needed. If you have the time, you have to make sure to go to the Xcaret park next door. Its a must see, so many animals and things to see for all ages.

Hotel Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort: Great clean resort with a semi good time

This is my family's second year at El Cid, the third year for the friends we were with.. All was awesome last year, but this year started out less then great.. I had booked two rooms(connecting) for my two teenage daughters and us(confirmed before arrival)!! When we got there it was not at all what we had booked, the rooms they had for us were not even in the same building!!! I ended up having to cancel one room and stay all together in one!! And if you have the honour of having Julio Ceaser as your butler it will make all the difference in the world... Awesome guy...

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Beautiful resort for a destination wedding!

This hotel met all of our expectations and more for our destination wedding with 56guests. The grounds are immaculate, the resort staff are friendly and go out of the way to make sure your needs are met and the food is unbelievable! I would highly recommend this resort for families, couples, large groups and especially weddings. We had our wedding on the sky deck, although an extra cost, but a live video feed was available for family and friends who were unable to attend. Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Family Friendly All-Inclusive

Excellent resort. Great food (including buffet) good variety of restaurants. Lots of pools, grounds are clean and well-maintained. Great Waterpark for kids, friendly staff. Soft white sandy beach, lots of loungers. Diamond Club/Butler Service worth the upgrade. Rooms are good size, well appointed with lots of amenities. Also, a very well thought out property layout, especially for such a large property (over 1000 rooms) - very walkable, everything within a short walk. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Amazing vacation!

This resort was awesome! The food, drinks, staff/service was fabulous. The beach and pool were both enjoyed equally, lots going on so if you didn't want to leave the resort you didn't have to. I would go back in a heartbeat, possibly even take my kids. I did find the beds and pillows a little too firm and mosquitos kept getting in under the door, but other than that the rooms were very clean and had a nice view.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Amazing vacation !

The food was excellent with a lot of variety. There was a different theme every day of the week. The grounds are very well maintained and very easy to walk through from rooms to pools and beach area. Very modern looking with a lot of tall palm trees. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment with very talented singers and dancers with there beautiful costumes. The pools were huge with swim up bars. Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Great family resort!

My husband and I visited Dreams Puerto Aventuras the first week of March, and really enjoyed the location in the Mayan Riviera, the small size of the resort and especially our dolphinview room with private balcony so that we could watch the dolphins in the dolphinarium any time. Quite entertaining! Rooms are large and very quiet, although there were children next door; the beds are comfy too. The staff is excellent and they're always asking if there's anything you need. We enjoyed the main buffet, which is inside, and we ate at the restaurants each evening, and we liked that there were no reservations and we never had to wait. Food was very good and we never had a bad meal. The internet cafe always had lovely treats and coffees. We always felt very safe and they take your room number to keep track of you if you're leaving the resort. The beach is very clean but small, and water shoes are recommended because this is a coral reef. We saw many divers going to the marina. Great concierge service at all times. Just half an hour by taxi to see the ruins at Tulum. Never had such friendly service at a resort.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Close to perfection

This is a beautiful resort, beautifully maintained and the staff are incredibly helpful! Service here is top notch. The only issues are that it is sometimes difficult to get a dinner reservation and they have trouble accommodating large groups. The beach isn't as nice as the beaches in cuba but the pools make up for it.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great resort!

This resort was huge but catered to all age groups. We were 5 people,three adults and two teenage boys. The food was great as we had a chance to visit 5 à la carte restaurants. They were all very good. The beach was very windy (red flag all week) be you could still manage to swim in the beautiful crystal clear water. So many fun things to do (surf rider,bowling, shopping,pool animation, scuba,volley..) Not far from Tulum and Playa del Carmen. SOOO many activities! Barcelo Maya Colonial: Beautiful Barcelo!!

Barcelo Maya Colonial and the other resorts included in your stay was absolutely beautiful!! The grounds are beautifully manicured and well taken care of....once in the resort area youll feel like your in paradise!! The beach and pools are second to none...the activities are endless...to the included watersports to the jetskis and parasailing you can indulge in for a small fee right at this resort!!! Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great Trip.

This resort is huge. We booked at Colonial but they put us at Tropical. This was a bit of a disappointment because we were there to meet friends for a wedding at Maya Beach (the furthest end of the resort). The Maya was the nicest because it was newly renovated. All 4 resorts were nice, but they definitely started upgrading at the Maya end and haven't finished yet. Food is great, again better selection at the Maya snd Caribe grills for lunch, but nothing is bad. Staff are good. Beach is beautifu [... read more]l (better at the Maya end) and the ocean was warmer than the pools. Pools are cold but refreshing. If you want music and activities go to the Tropical pool.

Excellence Riviera Cancun: Perfect vacation!

Hotel was amazing. 7 restaurants and none required a reservation. Food in all was fantastic and the staff went out of their way to make you feel special. We will definitely be going back to this hotel.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Awesome Resort

Wonderful resort - rooms are spacious and updated. all the dining was excellent. our favourite was the japanese and the steak house. I would definitely return. Staff goes out of their way for you. Our room was upgraded as it was my birthday.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Great family resort

We enjoyed our stay on this resort for 11 nights. We found the maid service was excellent but room décor a bit dated, enjoyed relaxing down the lazy river daily prior to hiking over to the beach for a dip in the ocean with all the sea life available to see snorkeling. The resort grounds / pool areas were very well maintained for such a large resort and was amazed by all the wildlife we encountered. The daily pool activities were well organized and lots of interaction with guests. Coffee / ice c [... read more]ream shops were a great treat to start our day or top off our evening. We attended a few evening shows at the theater and found them to be excellent. Found the main dining facility food to be a very large selection and very tastefully presented along with great to eat. A la carte's were excellent (Brazilian, Mexican, Japanese, Mediteranian) which we booked upon our arrival. We were assigned a room on the second floor at the top of a stairwell which we found to be very noisy during the evening as most guests used this stairwell to reach their room. We brought this to the front desk attention (Monica) after the first night and she transferred us to a quieter building that day. Our trip was arranged with Air Transat which I feel made this vacation excellent.
