Riu Reggae: Best experience of my life

I love that you have access to the other resort Montego Bay. Workers are so friendly, there’s an event or show every night, foam party on fridays I mean I had a blast. Food is pretty good. Some meals are bland but then other meals are really tasty so it makes up for it. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Would definitely go back again!

The resort was definitely Big!! We stayed on the luxury side (adults only) . Really no complaints! Food was awesome, better than any other resort. Rooms spacious . Staff friendly. We had an issue with our safe , called front desk and someone was there within 10 mins to resolve the issue. No issues getting chairs in the morning, but if you’re there too early in the morning they remove your towels. Sunsets are amazing! 😁

Jewel Paradise Cove: Amazing Resort

We stayed here for 2 weeks (Feb 25 - Mar 11) with 3 other couples and had a fantastic time. The staff was amazing and so friendly (Whitney, Marvel (can make a mean Coco Loco), Akello, Amoy to name a few). The resort is the right size for getting around, loved that there was a swim up bar at every pool. Food was awesome. Rooms were clean, fridge was stocked daily. (parrot fish, moray eel, barracuda etc.) We went out fishing on the glass bottom boat, that was fun. What we caught and kept we were able to bring back and the chef cooked our fish for us to eat for lunch. Tie die was fun as your own personal souvenir, just remember to bring your own white shirt, hat etc. The dinners on the beach or the one on the main pool desk was nicely put on with live bands playing. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect size resort. Beach and pool very nice. Food in several spots. Italian restaurant was great. Very clean and workers very nice. I would go again. The sunset view from our balcony was beautiful. Debbie and Susan

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great value

Rooms are clean, staff very nice, food was good and lots to choose from. Common areas nice, relaxed atmosphere throughout resort. Good value for money its a older resort however well maintained. I felt safe staying here. I would definitely stay again!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing resort!

The grounds are very well kept and maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very good entertainment and they have a live band every night. The food was awesome, a lot of variety at the buffet (Lobster available on Thursdays). A la carte restos really good, just make sure to book early enough as they tend to get booked fast. Make sure you look for the Bahia Principe village, it's a hidden gem for shopping ( a lot cheaper then the stores in the hotel lobby), and they have a store that sells au [... read more]thentic Jamaican patties(super delicious).

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Great resort

Overall a fantastic resort with a few extras that are nice touches, such as butler service, 24 hour room service, turn-down service, plus top shelf liquor. Grounds are beautiful and very well maintained as are the pools. Lots of seating both at pool and beach. Beach is nice and swimmable and you have a nice stretch of beach for your walks. Variety of options on entertainment from morning yoga on the beach to crafts to live band on the beach. The rooms are spacious and in great condition yet dated in decor (not a big deal) because the bed and pillows are superior and provided the most comfortable restful sleep. The only flaw which is out of the control of the hotel is the merchants that walk the beach, it gets tiring to have to say no thank you to the same person multiple times a day. I had no issues with the merchants selling souvenirs yet the drug solicitation from a handful of merchants was undesirable. Again, out of control of the hotel, but something to be aware of in advance. Fundamental question is would I go back - ABSOLUTELY!

This hotel has great food, great service, clean rooms, new comfortable mattresses, amazing views and beach. You will not be disappointed if you want a great relaxing vacation with great weather, drinks and people!

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Amazing Anniversary Vacation:)

Check in was smooth. Concierge brought us to an area to make dinner reservations. We arrived on a Thursday and were able to make reservations until Sunday. We were told the remaining reservations could be made through our butler, which we did on Saturday! The dinner buffet at the Grand is not open every night but they're able to tell you when it's open/closed so we enjoyed the buffet the nights it was open and ate in the a la carte's the other nights! The concierge explains that there's 170+ [... read more] Iberostar's across the globe and invited us to a breakfast. We understood this was a time share presentation and politely declined. It wasn't an issue and we were brought to the bell hop to get our bags and be escorted to our room. One of our butlers, Jaime, met us at the room and gave us a full tour and set us up with WhatsApp for the butlers. Every morning the morning butler introduced themselves with an itinerary of what restaurants were open, entertainment etc. via WhatsApp. The butlers checked in several times a day by both WhatsApp and in person! Our butlers were all fantastic: Taneil, Romell, Ralston, Travis & Jaime Iberostar has an app which we utilized to find out what activities were going on (aquafit, classes at the gym etc.). We ordered room service for breakfast twice and it was quick, accurate and delicious. We didn't have an issue getting reservations; we had a few 8pm/9pm reservation nights, but we rolled with it! We took the opportunity to hang out on our huge balcony early evening, order cheese/crackers, hummus etc. from room service, make a drink (room is fitted with customized mini bar and 2 bottles of your choice of liquor) and enjoy the tranquility of the space! There was amazing selection at all restaurants. I'm a vegetarian where my husband is not. We were both able to find amazing food choices; I can honestly say, the Iberostar does a fantastic job of offering a well-rounded menu at both the buffets and a la carte's. We participated in lots of activities; paddleboard yoga, aquafit, arts and crafts, kayaking, snorkeling etc. We went to the gym, played pickleball and walked the beach! We checked out the Iberostar Suites next door; enjoyed their lobby entertainment, a show in their theatre and buffet one evening. The lobby bar at the Grand was great; we spent a lot of evenings there before/after shows. Cassandra was an amazing hostess! The shows were enjoyable both in the theatre, on the beach and at the pool area. The Iberostar Resorts are on a public beach so there are vendors. It was a smidge annoying but honestly, not nearly as bad as I expected given reviews I'd read. I found the vendors in Dominican Republic on Bavaro Beach as well as in Nassau, Bahamas, much, much worse than this. A 'no thanks' worked, not to say the same vendor wouldn't ask you again in an hour, but again, a 'no thanks' and they were on their way. We had a fantastic vacation and would gladly recommend this resort to friends and family.

Couples Tower Isle: Awesome resort!

This is an older resort, but beautiful! It’s a small private beach, but there plenty of room for everyone! The food is fantastic! There is always something to do, even if there’s a red flag day, which means no water sports, or boat to the au natural island. This was not an issue for us, as we didn’t want to go to the island. We loved this place and my wife and I WILL be back!!! 🤙🇯🇲❤️

Riu Negril: Resort was average, beach was clean but food whole different story

We go to Caribbean a few times a year and we always go with open mind. Our agent Martine Reid always give us good advise about the resorts and places to go to and to avoid. To begin with we had to wait at the airport in the bus for almost two hours waiting for a couple who was not even coming to our resort. Instead of making different arrangement for one couple Sunwing made the whole bus full of passengers suffer for so long. Resort was average, clean, beach was kept well, service was very good, friendly staff. This was not our first trip to Jamaica and we always enjoyed Jamaican food. But this resort had bad food. These was so called touch of Jamaica but I tell you it was just a say. We could not even keep the food down.

This was the best resort I’ve ever been, absolutely beautiful! First time in Jamaica and we loved it🇯🇲 From the food to the beach, the room, the staff everything was amazing, we shall return as soon as possible 😁

Ocean Eden Bay: Beautiful resorts

Amazing hotel. Would like to go back to this resorts. Love the different kinds of food. The entire staffs are very friendly and very helpful. The program in the morning like water exercise and the dancing. Love the music it makes you feel dancing from hearing it.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Fantastic Vacation!!

We had read, from other sources, bad reviews but we were very happy with our stay. The staff were wonderful, rooms clean and well supplied. The cottages were perfect! The food was not gourmet but I wasn’t expecting that and we always had plenty to eat and drink. I would say that this resort is more for the 55+ crowd. It seemed as the entertainment crew had a bit of a hard time getting anyone to participate. I found the evening entertainment quite good especially the steel drum band.

The Hotel is huge and things are spread out, which took a couple of days to get used to, we were on the Luxury adult only side had a separate gym which was lovely, had butler service so that we could get fresh coffee when we woke up, The pools were super nice, beach was nice and relaxing, even though it is very shallow, so not ideal if you like to swim, found the Service was good as a whole some better than others, always clean rooms etc, definitely reccomend the resort, I would go again for sur [... read more]e, only negative was that they did not have any non alcoholic beer, but probably all of these resorts would be the same story, as people normally go and enjoy their beverages.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach

Enjoyed our vacation to Jamaica and our stay at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach Resort. This is one of two properties in the Royal Decameron family. Both are next door to each other and share all amenities. The Cornwall Beach property being the newest one. Nice small hotel, close to airport and beach. Rooms are ocean view, have a small fridge, tv, balcony, safe, but no dresser to put clothes in. They do have a closet to hang clothes also an iron/board. One thing that we didn’t like was that if you wanted a lounge chair on the beach you need to get up early and place your towels there! Beach is beautiful and the water is clear! One buffet restaurant on property, lots of food choices, coffee bar and lobby bar. One alacarte restaurant that you need to book the day of and line up for by 9am. No Covid restriction. Some staff wear masks, but at their discretion. Yes, we would return.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Amazing resort

Excellent food and house keeping services. We were only there for a few days but the stay was very relaxing. The resort store had everything we needed and even went out of their way to locate a phone charger from another resort when I needed a new one. The house keeping staff did an amazing job in the rooms and the meals were excellent

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Large & Beautiful Resort

We stayed for 7 nights as a group of 30 for our wedding. Majority of us were at the Grand with some at the suites. The resort is huge! There are 2 buildings for each resort (beaches, suites and grand) making it a long walk between if you have people in the different resorts. The Grand is definitely the chill out, adults only area, whereas Suites has all the fun party pool activities! The foam parties, volleyball, the lazy river! The food was great at all restaurants. The only meals we didn't e [... read more]njoy as much was our Welcome dinner and Wedding dinners. We were a meat heavy group so cooking 25 steaks at the same time wasn't something they were used to. But all other meals were great, loads of selection everywhere you went. I had steak 2-3 other times and they were cooked to perfection! Butler service was amazing, coffee and mimosas delivered to our room at a set time daily! They use WhatsApp to communicate so make sure you download this app before going as there is free wifi everywhere! The beach was ok, Cuba beaches are nicer than Montego Bay. We didn't spend as much time at the beach as we were with a group, but if you like the beach vs the pool, they are not white sandy beaches. Overall, we would go back, but we typically don't repeat resorts so would likely explore another area of Jamaica instead!

Ocean Coral Spring: great resort for young families

The hotel is clean and the grounds are well kept. Our room was large, bright and cleaned daily. We enjoyed the a la carte restaurants. The Japanese restaurant is loud so avoid if you don't appreciate the loud clank of metal spatulas used as drum sticks continuously at 3 or 4 different tables at the same time. The pool is large and clean and well serviced with several Bars in and around it. It is hard to get chairs poolside. People are keen to put towels on the chairs early in the morning a [... read more]nd in some cases even the night before. The beach is small and hard to navigate due to shallow coral in the swimming area as well as rocks in most areas. The privilege beach is nicer and has a larger sandy area. Beach volleyball court is great. We did not use basketball court or tennis courts as they are far off at the front of the hotel. The privilege upgrade is great because it gets you access to a butler to book your restaurants which is super convenient. Most enjoyable for our family was the waterpark especially for kids under 10. They loved it and spent hours there every day. Of course the Jerk Chicken is hot and delicious!
