Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: What's to complain about?

This was a great resort! Compact yet has everything you need- clean and updated rooms and facilities, extremely hardworking and friendly staff, delicious food and drinks with lots of variety, beautiful beach with clear, warm, and calm water. Had a great time and would recommend to others!

JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Fabulous Resort

The resort was great. I truly enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And speaking English wasn't a problem for most of the staff. I will go back to this resort. Only thing next time I will request room away from the entertainment area. The food was great.

Dreams Huatulco: Great Resort

The resort was in great shape, clean and small enough to enjoy, and the food in the restaurants are good. Waiter service on the beach was good but enough bars that you rarely waited for a drink. Beach was clean a great for snorkeling or just a nice walk. Shops across the street for the resort if you wanted to do a bit of shopping there or a 5 minute ride into town for a nice outing.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: We had a great time!

Highly recommended. We just got back after spending a week there. Easy and close access to the pools and beach. The food was fantastic with an abundance of variety to choose from (both at the buffet and dine in restaurants). The entertainment crew was phenomenal at keeping our active boys (10 and 13 years) busy with plenty of sports activities outdoors and in the game room. The evening entertainment was also great to watch (especially the "Fire" show!)

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Great Resort, Staff, Food & Activities

The Dreams Tulum is a beautiful resort. The beach had lots of nice sand for soccer, volleyball and other activities, there was a swimming area that the staff did a nice job of keeping clear. Having the beach and pool close together was great. Great variety of restaurants with nice food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What makes this resort is the staff. Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Really nice vacation but Air Transit really sucks

Dreams Villamagna in Nuevo Vallarta was a great resort. While getting on in age the food was extremely good and the staff awesome. The service and atmosphere was positive and friendly. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Sunquest did a great job too however Air Transit has proven once again their ability to ruin your vacation. Last time we fly via Air Transit we swore we would never use them as our flight carrier. Well being a family vacation with people coming from different location [... read more]s we ended on Air Transit. what a mistake! First off they sub out the flight to a second class carrier called Flair Air. We paid for a direct flight 5 hours to our destination however after getting on board we are told that they have to go to Vancouver to get fuel. Really? We are at an international airport with other planes leaving direct on 4 hour flights so now why do we end up on a 7.5 hour flight having a stop over in Vancouver. Cause fuel must be cheaper there and what does Flair Air care or Air Transit. Horrible air line and never again.

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Amazing fun on the sun

Beautiful grounds, and nice view of ships waiting to enter canal and lots of blue sky !! Staff very attentive and ready to help in any way. Lots of excursions to select from plus close to Panama City for easy access but far away to enjoy the relaxation of this resort

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Some good some bad

Check in/out good. Beware of time share sales while getting your discount coupons after check in. Our room was small and dated. A/C barely worked. (Rm5110) Nowhere to put clothes away. We had a swim out room but our patio had red sand outside so whenever we came in there was a mess. I disagree with all the rave reviews on food. Buffet food just ok- restraunts were good. Bars generally had slow service. Beef gyros and potato chips at the beach was a great lunch. Pool is nice but cold. Good friend [... read more]ly service was hit and miss. There was nowhere to go for nightlife, drinks or food after midnight-not 24hr AI. They promote gluten free but servers are not trained and limited choices. We did the shark snorkelling excursion (nexus) and I do not recommend, there is nothing to see except a few sharks and rays in a cage (sad). I did enjoy my vacation but I would not return here

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Dreams Punta Cana is great value

Dreams Punta Cana did not disappoint! It's location in Uvero Alto is amazing. The grounds are truly amongst the best of any hotel - huge well designed swimming pools, a stunning beach and tons of lush foliage. The Super Saver room was absolutely fine - very clean and well maintained with everything working. Food at the resort was very good - with generally a good selection. Lots of activities for kids, with a specific call-out to the staff at the Core Zone sports area who were really great and a [... read more]ccommodating. Evening shows were well done. Lots of available loungers by the pool and the ocean and the pool mats were a nice plus. Compared to the newer resorts on either side of it, the grounds here were 100 times nicer (I'm sure the grounds in the other resorts will be great in 10 or so years, but right now they offer virtually no lushness or shade). Only complaints (very minor): more selection of fish would have been nice at the buffet (they had grouper a bunch of times, but not a lot else). And the dessert area could have been more accommodating to those with nut allergies (ie. have a distinct cooler for nut free flavours of ice cream instead of mixing them with nut varieties). When down south I like to minimize my time indoors - easy to do here except for the buffet restaurant which is very much indoors - and they could fix this easily as they had a lot of patio space outside the restaurant, but only ever 4 or 5 tables setup out there. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort as great value for the price paid.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great resort

Beautiful well maintained grounds ! The flamingos and peacocks were beautiful and added to the surroundings. The beach was gorgeous but windy at times with lots of surf. Nice to watch but not to swim in. Great for long walks. Rooms were standard but very comfortable beds. Room service a big bonus . Quick and hot! Restaurants were good with the Steakhouse and Bordeaux topping my list. Waits were not too long with staff helping to past the time. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Not Dreams Quality

Very Disappointed with the Dreams in Punta Cana. We were expecting better service and better food. The hotel rooms where we stayed were just ok. The attention to food allergies were taken into consideration for one night buy one waiter. Which can be very dangerous. The waitress' that did the beach service and pool service were very attentive and we showed our appreciation with our generous tipping. I do recommend the staff get training on working in the hospitality industry.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: nice resort

The hotel grounds were clean. The room we had was alright. The bathroom was showing it's age. Ceiling was starting to come apart. When the maids cleaned our rooms sometime the coffee pot wasn't cleaned or coffee mate wasn't refilled. Food was decent at most of the restaurants. Staff was friendly. I didn't care for being harassed by people saleing their items, very pushy. There was incident where some one could have potentially drowned and the staff was not very proactive. They finally react [... read more]ed once myself and my husband approached them to go save that person that was out in the ocean getting smashed by the waves. I believe the staff has little or no training in life saving, and had insuffient equipment to perform a rescue.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: All-Inclusive first-timer

The all-inclusive format is great, though I could live without the constant tipping. Resort was very nice, but the rooms need upgrading. TV and phone didn't work properly. Construction in the room above was an unwelcome wake-up call for two of the days, and the world's loudest weed-whacker took care of the other mornings. Staff were mostly friendly, with the occasional grump sneaking in. Entertainment was better than I expected, and the restaurants were excellent. JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa: Absolutely Fabulous Resort

My husband, my mom and myself spent 9 glorious days at this resort and l have to say it was a DREAM! Not only is it a visual stunning resort, it has such a vast selection of food, restaurants, pools and activities. We hung out mostly at the adult pools and l have to say that the service was amazing. The wooden lounge chairs have very comfortable cushions with white terry cloth liners and a rolled up beach towel on every lounge each morning. You can have as many dry towels as you need everyday an [... read more]d there are no uncomfortable plastic wrist bands to wear during your stay. Room service is truly 24 hrs, your bar fridge is really fully stocked every day and the concierge is on top of every request. The rooms are gorgeous and large, each room has a bathtub on the terrace (we had a ground floor room). It was a trip to remember for sure and we will certainly be back. Lastly the staff are the nicest people, always smiling and there favorate thing to say is "it's my pleasure". The only bit of a downer is the hour 40 min drive from the airport, however when you arrive it's all forgotten. Loved, loved this resort!!!!!!

Dreams Huatulco: Amazing Resort

The hotel was very clean and the service was impeccable. Our rooms we're cleaned twice a day which we have never experienced. The spa was fabulous very relaxing and super clean. The grounds were kept almost perfect each day. The food was very good big buffet and you had restaurants to choose from too!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Impressive Improvements at Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa

My spouse and I just returned from a 7 day stay at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa (Jan. 7 to 14, 2017) and were very happy with our stay. It is a great medium size property - not too small and not too large. My first stay at Dreams was in April 2013 and I enjoyed it so much I came back for a second visit. Improvements were noted primarily in the exemplary customer service and the higher quality of food. There were more vegetarian and gluten-free options and in general the food seem [... read more]ed healthier (e.g., vegetables steamed and not cooked in heavy sauces, etc.). The cuts of meat were of good quality. I had an exceptional filet mignon at the resort steakhouse. The in-house pastry chef outdid him/herself with daily specials - delicious! The grounds and pool areas were immaculate and very well taken care of. Although the rooms were a bit older and showed their age, they too were extremely clean and comfortable. We had a deluxe swim out room and would definitely book another again. Noticed that the resort was investing in promoting upgrades such as VIP tents on the beach, special romantic dinners, professional photos, and VIP privileges for extra money, etc. While I can appreciate they are offering a la carte upgrades, I didn`t appreciate being herded to the sales team immediately after checking in, so they could sell me time share to other Dreams properties. I just arrived for a relaxing vacation and we were immediately hustled into sales mode, offered a VIP breakfast and offered a two hour tour of the other properties. Definitely not cool. I would suggest to the management to invest more time and money in their nightly entertainment. I would rate this a 2.5 out of 5. A few of the shows (Dominican night and Circus) were great, however the Western show was more of an audience participation drinking game. Surely they can do better. Please bring in nightly Latin bands and singers in the upper lobby (next to the bar) so people can socialize and dance. They offered 30 min. of entertainment in the Santo Domingo outdoor plaza, and just when people were starting to have fun they closed down and moved people to the loud disco. The daytime activities were fun and plentiful should you wish to join in. The staff were very accommodating and friendly - specifically customer service representatives Genesis and Meiry. Overall I would highly recommend this resort.

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Great Resort

The hotel is a great place if you want peacefulness and relaxation. This resort doesn't have a nightlife. Food is good however, you are limited to 3 restaurants open at the same time. The only downfall to this area to which the resort is located are the chitras (sand fleas). They are bad at dusk and dawn. With not being able to see them, you don't realize that they are biting you until you start scratching. The bites are a hit and miss with different people. Don't expect to be able to swim at the beach all the time with the high and low tides every 5 1/2 - 6 hrs. Rooms were beautiful and the resort was very clean. Dreams Huatulco: Breathtaking resort

The resort was beautiful. Staff was all very friendly. The beach had great sand. A lot of excursions available. Beautiful place for a wedding. Close to town. Great bar just across the street. The entertainment was great to watch.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Family holiday

Hotel was fantastick! Wonderful kids club felt totally secure leaving the kids .. so many activities for them to do! Gorgeous grounds great food and the beat pool and lanscaping ive ever seen! Would like to return for sure!

Dreams Huatulco: Outstanding

This was our first time at this resort and won't be our last, the resort is spotless and the staff are all very friendly. The food was great we mostly ate at the buffet and there was lots of choices, there is 6 pools 2 adult only which were very quiet and 3 regular pools and 1 kids pool all were excellent.
