Riu Yucatan: Good resort!
As expected, the RIU's consistency and service remains above par. The RIU Yucatan had many options to either join activities or relax on your own. The Chill Out pool and bar Ibiza were great to hang out at for quiet spot, thanks to Roger and Jyan who are amazing bartenders. If you were looking to join the activities, the main pool was the spot to be. Loved the bar options and food. Peppe's grill was amazing each day, especially the BBQ chicken. Only downside was if you wanted to sit at the bea [... read more]
Riu Playa Blanca: Riu quality
We have stayed at Riu resorts over 6 times in the past, first one in Panama. being 10 minutes from the airport was great. On the way home they allow water, pop and your own food as they do not sell at airport, limited seats so get there early. Now Panama and the resort. We went end of November and were worried about the rain, It was Hot and even on overcast and rainy days it was still beautiful, rained only a few times and less than an hour or at night. Ruben and Lucus at the swim up were awe [... read more]
Riu Emerald Bay: Lacks in a few areas
The Riu Emerald bay is a beautiful resort but it lacks in a few areas. Our bed was hard and well used, a the two chairs in our room were plastic covered and not comfortable at all. We couldn’t watch tv as it was all in Mexican, and it took until the last day after asking everyday to have the tequila in our room replaced as it was empty when we arrived. Children were frequently yelling in the hallways and the room next to us was smoking on the deck the whole time they were there, even though we [... read more]
Riu Palace Las Americas: Amazing Resort
Overall the resort was awesome, close to many of the excursions, a very safe area to walk around not that we needed to leave the resort with multiple spots to eat and a day full of so many games and entertaining shows. Rigo at the restaurants went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic and very memorable.
Riu Palace Costa Rica: Nice resort
Food selection needs more options. Same stuff everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner Resort was well kept. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Not a lot of entertainment on site. Resort is far away from everything. Far in the bushes
Riu Cancun: Horrible experience
Hotel was ok, had a horrible experience. Had by wife’s beach bag stolen at the pool. It was under our chair. We went to the other pool for about an hour when we came back the bag was gone. We called security and they found the bag at the beach on top of a chair. But both our IPhone 14’s gone. The hotel did nothing to help us out. So basically over $2000 gone. Thanks a lot Riu!
Riu Palace Peninsula: Dream vacation Resort
Everything was perfect. Staff is amazing friendly and helpful. Thank you to all employees for your exceptional service.Kudos to all kitchen staff and servers for your true professionalism. If I would get chance again, I would love to stay at this resort. Thanks
Riu Palace Peninsula: Amazing experience after so many years every time we get warm welcome
Hotel is clean; rooms as well, fridge full of drinks replenished on a daily basis, great improvement done with entertainment . A new Riu party is a great benefit for young people to make their stay more enjoyable and memorable.
Riu Vallarta: Beautiful and clean resort
We were totally impressed with the healthy manicured grounds and the exceptionally lovely plants and trees. The weather was amazing and the ocean water was warmer than the tropics. The service was pampering making us feel secure and comfortable. Thanks for everything
Riu Flamingos: Good Resort
Excellent for family with kids! Everything about the resort is good value. Exception is the room needs a new makeup and the shower tray can be dangerous for those who needs assistance to get in/ out. Resort should provide a floor mat to avoid accidental slip.
Riu Vallarta: Nice resort, but....
We just came back from RIU Vallarta and overall it was an ok experience. I would call RIU resorts the "Carnival Cruise Line of all inclusives." The room we were given was called an oceanview but really should be called a PARTIAL oceanview. The air conditioning didn't work and we had to report it 3 times to the front desk before they moved us. The staff was super friendly and the highlight of the resort, but there were just too many things that bothered us during the stay to make it worth coming [... read more]
Riu Santa Fe: Excellent service
The grounds were impeccable, the staff were friendly, easy to communicate with, and very helpful! There was always a restaurant open somewhere whenever we wanted to eat. The entertainment was outstanding and we ended up attending all of them. The theme parties need to be seen to be believed.
Riu Santa Fe: Amezing resort
Very very very good resort, nice food, rooms pools…bars, parties. very nice lobi maybe you need to have shatl to the city !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Riu Santa Fe: Fantastic resort!
Everything was amazing from the staff, food, and location. The rui parties and entertainment was always something new and a sight to see. The resort has its party areas but also has areas for family and couples to enjoy peace and quite.
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Beautiful resort
Our first stay at the RIU Palace, Cabo San Lucas and would not hesitate to return. The resort is older and starting to show signs of aging, particularly in the pool areas. But overall the resort is very clean and extremely well maintained. The staff were always friendly and interested in providing top level service. We had a junior suite with partial ocean view overlooking one of the pool areas and the sea of Cortez, excellent view. Our pool was the activity area so it could be a little noisy [... read more]
Riu Palace Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort
The resort was so manicured and beautiful, the cleanliness of rooms entire resort and the abundance of the food selection was overwhelming. I would definitely revisit this resort. The staff you couldn't of asked for anything more even if there was a language barrier at times, but all good, beach was perfect, over all the Palace oppose to sister resorts would be the closest to a 5 star and value
Riu Palace Jamaica: Amazing Hotel
This vacation was one of the best experience i had in resort , The hotel was beautiful . The entertainment was extremely impressive, they even played one of my favorited song when i asked them to do . . dinning was also one of the best ,
Riu Emerald Bay: Sorry to complain
The hotel was first class. The staff were amazing. A great variety of food. Wonderful Mexican dancers at the show! However the local loud repetitive music on the beach by 3 different bands at the same time playing different songs for 6 hours straight was unbearable. We could not sit on the beach, we could not sit on our balcony or have the balcony door open as all you could hear was tubas and drums for 6 hours and when that was finished, 2 hours of bad karaoke or bad audio video music began.
Riu Playa Blanca: RIU PLAYA BLANCA , PANAMA
Very clean resort, lots of help, many bars, good liquor(!) & food. Room nice & spaces! My travel agent Tammy Beamish requested ground floor for me and I was very happy. Resort property non Smoking area, only beach or outside hotel permitted. A la carte unlimited, no need to book: first came first serve. Resort very close to airport. In the way back you have to pay cash AEROPORT FEE (about $37.25 per person) and its take forever , only one person colleting money. No AC @ airport , no dut [... read more]
