Decameron Isla Coral: Mediocre

I find the resort had its ups and downs when we got to the resort nobody at the front desk spoke any English at all so it was hard for us to check in. We had the ocean view room and were given a different room. The good part about it was the view of the beach was amazing the food was okay overall if I had to rate 1-10 it would 5/10

Samba Vallarta: Cozy, friendly resort!

All of the staff are so friendly, and I love the size of this resort. The food is great for what we paid, and the view and courtyard is beautiful. It’s always easy to get a chair around the pool, and the ocean is usually okay to swim in.

Riu Palace Pacifico: This is an excellent vacation location.

Rooms: Air conditioned and clean. Beds were firm and of good quality. Mini bar was stocked daily, with water and a good variety of drinks. The toilet worked well, and the water pressure in the shower was fine. Food: Amazing. Selection was immense. Everything I tasted was cooked perfectly and presented at a very high level. I was blown away by how fresh everything was. I honestly did not expect a buffet could be so well done. The specialty restaurants were of the same quality. Beach: 2 foo [... read more]t surf break. No rip tide. Clean ocean water with perfect sand. No rocks or debris. Great for walking or floating or skim boarding for kids. Pool: Very clean and large and at a perfect temp. They have entertainment and activities too. Bars: Fast service. Great drink selection. Basically whatever you want they have it. The tequila selection was average. They only had a few quality tequilas. Customer Service: I asked the front desk for many things during my stay. It took about 30 minutes for someone to fulfill each request, but it always got done. Nightly Entertainment: Average. Some performers were better than others. Vegas does it better.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Great Resort

This resort was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. The shows were entertaining and included a lot of audience participation. I did not like the fact that almost everything was in Spanish very little English even thought there were a lot of English speaking guests. We also liked the fact that we were close to the town and could walk to shop. The beach was great, warm for swimming and fun to just people watch. There were a lot of vendors but they did not bug you, all you had to do wa [... read more]s say no or shake you head no and they would leave you alone. The only thing that I did not like was that by 10:00 am all the beach chairs were marked as taken so it was very difficult to get a seat on the beach. There were also a lot of activities for individuals of groups to participate in. Food was plentiful and a good variety. I would go back again.

Riu Flamingos: Riu Jalisco Feb 2020

This resort is excellent and provides great value for your money. Food was great, nice beach, excellent bars all through the resort. I would just like to suggest adding a pathway to each end of the hotel nearest the pools. This would cut your walking time back to your room from about 8 minutes to about 2 minutes.

Decameron Isla Coral: Don’t do it

Our stay at isla coral was not a good one at all! No one spoke English, there was no shows or entertainment and not fun to be had! We had one bartender that we enjoyed who put YouTube on the tv for us to have some fun. Later on we got in trouble by the manager saying we were to loud and it was unacceptable behavior. Yet we were woken up by construction constantly. We hated our time there so much we asked to be switched to a different resort. We got moved to la marina which we LOVED!

Decameron Isla Coral: Potentially Amazing Resort

The Decameron Isla Coral has the potential to be an amazing and beautiful resort. The beach area is the nicest of the strip, also the hotel exterior is breath taking, however the rooms are below par. We found disappointment in our room as we did not not receive the room with a ocean view as these rooms were not available due to the resort not functioning as max abilities. During our stay they were still building and setting up parts of the resorts which was very noticeable to guest. The rooms also lacked any cleaning, despite leaving very generous tips, when cleaners did come in they often just made the bed and did not leave fresh towels or water and we would have to call the front desk and ask for these. The showers were repulsive, lacking functioning shower heads and hot water. Rooms also lacked some basic amenities such as a small fridge. Although the staff tried their best to serve us, it was evident they were still undergoing major training and many did not speak or understand any English. It was very hard to communicate with any stuff during the week, especially during dinning hours. At the beginning of the week there was very little food options and are all unlabelled , and with the lack of English we often did not know what we were consuming. However this started to improve towards the end of the week as they began to label dishes while offering a wider selection in both English and Spanish. The buffet also offers two grill stations, however no man was there to man these stations until half hour to four minutes after opening time, if we did try to ask for assistance such as if someone could make us pancakes at the pancake station in the morning, due to the language barrier this was unable to happen and was experienced during most meals. The last major complaint is the pool. Despite the beauty, we were unable to enjoy it as the water it’s freezing!! Because of the U-shape design of the resort the pool is shaded most of the day and with not pool heater the water never has a chance to warm causing the ocean water to be Several degrees warmer. All and all the resort is beautiful and has the potential to be a perfect intimate southern oasis for families and couples. Towards the end of the week we did start to see some improvements such as a wider Labelled food selection and having the grill stations maned closers to opening times. We also noticed workers working on the water pipes by the pool which I would assume was either to help water pressure in rooms or to heat the pool. I have given this new resort the benefit of the doubt and I truly believe they will work out all of the kinks and improve services with more training. One suggestion I would like to make is to offer more activities for guest. Although we would told we could go to La Marina during the day to use their non motorized sports when we did they wouldn’t have them out. Also Isla Coral has a much better beach area so it would be great if guest could enjoy this on their beach! We would return to Isla Coral and have already recommended to a friend who is currently booking her stay :)

Just returned from the riu jalisco. This property is very nice. We had no complaints at all. Staff was very nice and helpful. Always willing to help and always with a smile. The rooms are dated and small but they were clean and comfortable. Food was ok nothing fabulous typical buffet food. Did not like the Asian but then i am not one for sushi. Couldn't get in the steak house always lined up with a couple hour wait. Overall we enjoyed our week there. Will have to add that the sunwing rep was ex [... read more]cellent. Thanks Rafel .

Grand Park Royal Puerto Vallarta: Great resort

The staff at Grand Park Royal where amazing especially Miguel at the pool and beach and no one can forget Fernando in the lobby bar never at a better bartender he will make your day thanks to all the staff and don't forget to try the fish tacos at lunch time in the seafood restaurant they are to die for

Decameron Isla Coral: Great Resort

We were hesitant to book this resort as it was brand new and had no reviews, but we are so glad that we did. It is a 1.5 hour ride from PV airport to Guayabitos, something to keep in mind. Also if you were on a large bus, chances are they may not be able to get you directly to the resort as the roads are too narrow. We had a 16 passenger van and it made it with no issues. We were told that there was still things to be completed at the resort so we may hear construction noise. They were still completing the top floor. Both elevators were in working order. Rooms are nothing special or fancy, but clean and comfortable. AC in each room. Bed was a bit hard but still comfortable. In room safe was included. All rooms have a balcony. The grounds are always clean, pool was cool but not freezing cold. Food was good. They tried to keep things changed up at the buffet but there was time where things were repeated. Deserts were excellent. Always chairs and loungers available on the beach. Beautiful beach. Staff was always smiling and eager to help even if some them didn't speak very good English. Juan and Jesus always had cold beverages ready for us at the bar and never let the cup get empty. The animation team was very good and tried their best to keep people engaged in activities throughout the day. Entertainment was ok. Karaoke, bands, music each night from 9-10:30. If you are a early to bed person this may not be good as the noise did echo around the resort do to the "C" shape of the complex. Overall this was an excellent resort and it exceeded our expectations and we would definately return.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Amazing Resort

This resort is totally amazing. Very clean and spacious rooms. Excellent food and amazing beach. Pools were heated and fabulous. Lots of lounge chairs with shade. The shows were okay. The staff were super friendly and always there to help. I highly recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway.

Riu Flamingos: OK Hotel

The hotel is a little on the older side and the rooms smell very musty. However, the food selection was great, most of it was very good. The pools, beach area and grounds were excellent. The evening programs were very good. Certainly a place geared for children. Most of the staff were excellent. We did have one complaint: upon entering our room at the hotel we were given a very small room with a queen size bed and bunk beds. It was very small and as we had 2 suitcases we put one on the s [... read more]uitcase bench provided & the other on the bottom bunk. It was very small but we thought we could live with it if we had to. We then went out to our balcony and it faced garbage cans & a bus parking lot. As we like to use the balcony, this was not acceptable so we went directly to the front desk to see about getting our room changed. The hotel attendant wasn't very pleased and he asked if we had touched anything & we said one of the suitcases was on the bunk bed to which he said we had to stay there that night and be out of the room the next day by 11:00 and to come back at 3:00 the next day to get the door key to another room. So we spent the first night in a small & very noisy room (not just buses but the air conditioner vent was broke and rattled so we had to turn off the air to sleep), and half the next day without a room to go to. The room we eventually got into was OK.

Armony Marival Resort and Spa Punta de Mita: Amazing

Beautiful property.The beach was beautiful and the grounds where kept so clean.Food was ok but not great but what do you expect at an all inclusive.Very quiet at night so it's definately not for younger people.Lots of grey hairs at this resort.If I ts peace and quiet you want then this is for you

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Amazing resort!!!

We had a fantastic time at this resort! The food was excellent! The service was amazing! The pools and the beach were absolutely terrific. It’s well taken care of by an excellent staff. Great entertainment every night!

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Great Value

An excellent 4 star resort. Food was great. Service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating staff. Beach is great, umbrella guys are amazing. Rooms and grounds super clean. Animation staff was out of this world.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Nice resort

Grounds beautiful. Beach excellent. Pool good. Not much happening at this resort, however if you just want to relax, this resort is for you! BEWARE there is construction! All day 8 to 9 pm 7 days!! Jackhammer all day. We paid extra for royal club service and we were right next to construction! They should not be charging extra!! Would go back but after construction is finished.

Riu Flamingos: Very nice

Nice grounds, lovely beach, nice pools. Pretty crowded at the pools and restaurants, the lobby service wasn’t great. The kids area didn’t allow drinks of any kind which made it hard to sit for a long time with our kids. Rooms were clean but just ok. Buffet food was great, a la carte restaurants were hit and miss. Over all a very nice resort for the price.

Krystal Puerto Vallarta: Friendly Welcoming Resort

1st visit to Krystal Vallarta, Simply loved it ,Spectacular Ocean view unit was waiting when we arrived, Friendly helpful staff from front desk to Filiberto & Son at the Pool bar. Smiles everywhere. Location & Value hard to beat ,Will return again & highly recommend,

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Awesome resort!

we really enjoy the resort, especially the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful. We have been here before and will return again. The location is in such a beautiful area, with lots to do on and off resort!
