Nickelodeon Hotel Punta Cana: Great Resort!

This was our second visit to Nickelodeon. Travelling with 2 children under 5 the resort is so beautiful and tons to do to keep our kids occupied. The food was great, beach is also amazing (big waves but sandy and huge!) We love that there are tons of families with small children some who are not always happy at the dinner table (like ours) so you don’t feel like you’re upsetting or disrupting because the majority are either experiencing the occasional meltdown too or have been there before!  [... read more]The resort is a good size but not too big everything’s within walking distance (even for little feet) We will definitely return for a 3rd visit

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Very Nice Resort

The facility is very nice. Friendly staff, very clean and overall well maintained. The rooms are clean although they have started to look a little tired. I was a little irked over the lack of hot water. After a five minute wait, the best I could get was tepid. Nice to get home and have a hot shower. Beach and pool area were great. Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Enjoyable week

Grounds, including the beach were amazing. Pools were nice. Food was very good. Rooms were a little dated but still nice and clean. Entertainment was good. Service was hit or miss. Getting a pool chair was like hunger games. Getting a beach chair was a little easier. Good value overall for the price.

Occidental Caribe: Good Resprt

Rooms are very clean and so is the resorts grounds. Traveller with a group of 4 and a 1 year old and always found things to eat. Beach is very nice as well. Overall I would recommend this to anyone not willing to spend lots of money on fancy resorts

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Winter get away

The staff are accommodating and pleasant. The buffet offers a large selection as well delicious food. The coffee machine offers fancy coffee drinks like cappuccino, The nightly entertainment was good. All 3 al carte restaurants were amazing, many choices served by pleasant staff. The grounds were well manicured. The facility is close to the beach. The premise is clean. It’s a bit dated and can use a facelift.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: excellent place

Everything is great, prefect, cleaning and friendly. We stayed there for 7 nights, and enjoyed our time and very happy with everything. We recommend all restaurants except fish market and indian restaurants.

Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana: Amazing adult resort with nice clean beach

Well maintained ground and pools. All service people nice helpful and polite. Plenty of restaurants, clean and nice variety of foods. The buffet is well set, with lot of choice of food. Good entertainment for every night, and lot of choice of activity.

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Wonderful holiday

The hotel was nice, clean, good food, beautiful beaches, attentive staff, excellent entertainment staff. Too many smokers that were allowed to smoke in the non smoking sections. I would return to this resort

Viva V Samana by Wyndham: Amazing resort

Just returned from Viva V Wyndham in Dominican Resort is the perfect size for a quiet couples vacation. Beach was great, Hotel clean and well maintained. Food was great Close proximity to the airport. Great vacation.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Absolutely amazing ?

Love casa marina beach and reef resort. Staff are friendly,food was amazing and always something to do if we wanted. Love being able to walk into town. Are group of ten loved it. That says allot for a group.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Simple, Clean, Friendly Resort

The resort is simple, clean and the staff are attentive and helpful. The grounds and rooms are well maintained as well as the pool and beach areas. We have come to this resort twice now just for it's simplicity. The food selection is good, we never had a concern and the freshness and using local products is cool.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: GOOD RESORT FOR ADULTS

Grounds are beautiful and well looked after, beach is awesome. All Staff at front desk, bars, restaurants very friendly and helpful. Guest services felt like you were bothering them, made it difficult to deal with. They told us to pick 4 restaurants in the beginning and come back to pick the rest later which meant we could not get into anything for the last few days. I suggest booking all the restaurants the first day. Our first room was musty and dirty; we had it changed the next morning  [... read more]with no problem and the room was good. We spoke to others that had the same thing. It looks like there has been water damage in the rooms. If you have the privileged room and are told you have premium liquor (wrong) it is only available at one bar which was not one, we went to not near pools or beach. Not worth the extra money. Do not bother going into Punta Cana it is not a small city centre but a Mall with a grocery store.

Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort and Spa: Beautiful New Resort !

The beach is beautiful,great for walking. Having the restaurants all together was convenient. We went to the Secrets adult only restaurants and the food was great. À la Carte restaurants and Buffett had something for everyone and great service! A very walkable resort with everything you need within 5 minutes. Rooms were spacious and clean. We had a third floor partial ocean view and also a view of the pool areas and it was amazing ! High speed elevators were convenient. Service from wait staff a [... read more]t bars including beach and pool was fast and friendly. The bus ride from the airport is long but beautiful scenery and not a dealbreaker at all. This is a quieter resort and was a perfect fit for us travelling as a couple with a desire to rest and relax. We travel yearly with a group of 14-16 and would not recommend this resort for a large group. The public spaces such as the lobby are smaller and not really set up to seat a group. We would definitely return to the Dreams Playa Esmeralda!

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Lovely with some issues

Other than the language barrier and issues with our bathroom that ended up with us demanding a room move, this resort is lovely. Very clean, grounds well maintained, food awesome, beach phenomenal. We had a great stay.

Select Sosua Adults Only, Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Beautiful spot

We liked it. There were a few things we would have seen different but overall we were fine with things. Clean, staff was nice. Some restaurants could have been a bit better service. I was in the select area and I would have liked to see some people being more respectful to the quiet areas. Not the hotels fault but maybe staff could ask some people to tone it down when people are trying to just relax and be quiet

Emotions by Hodelpa Juan Dolio: A little disappointed

We purchase the essentia swim out pool room. I wouldn't recommend that upgrade. When you walk out of your room to the pool, on the other side of the pool is a wall that is right next to the road. There were water bottles and other garbage thrown over the wall. One of the other guests actually went over and cleaned it all up, you would think the staff would do that. We were thought that we were getting an adult's only area but were told that the room is adults only bit the building is not and the [... read more] rooms that face the ocean are not adults only. We were supposed to have a private access pool but that wasn't the case. One guest had locals over and were in that area. When we checked in we were told basically nothing about our package we purchased other then to download the app. We were told we could make reservations etc from this app. That night we went to order room service bit on the app it said unavailable. Tried to make reservations at a restaurant but couldn't. Next day went up again and was told that room service cost extra bit we found out from another guest that this was not true, you just had to order from WhatsApp. I was also told that you can't make reservations until midnight. So the last showed me in my phone how to do this and made reservations only to find out that when we went to eat, there wasn't a reservation for us but luckily after waiting for a bit we got a seat. The day we met the Sunwing tours rep, he didn't talk much about the resort or amenities, he was more focused on selling us a tour. We said that we would think about it and lucky for us we did because when I went to book a message I was told the one of the excursions that the rep tried to sell us was included in our up grade. So now we had no faith with this Sunwing/nextours rep. Even we booked the tour we asked for a specific day and we told not available on that day. However after talking with another guest we found out that she was going that day, so back up we went and at first they said no then when I questioned why not, they changed it and we went. Then on day four I tried to reserve a restaurant but again could not get on, only later did I find out that they changed access from midnight to 9 am. Then 2 days later they changed it back to midnight, again no communication about it. Twice I couldn't reserve a table and package said priority revelations! So I would not recommend an upgrade at this resort. The room was ok because we don't spend alot of time in it, bit of first night only had two bath towels, no face clothes or had towels, we had to ask the next day for then because we got to the resort at 1030 ish and by the time we got to our room the check in was closed. The room is outdated but that's ok, why to hang up towel on turn to and it almost completely fell off the wall. Other then what I mentioned, if I would have just went with the standard room which I was able to see a friend of mines, this trip would have been good. The food was good, the beach was good, the grounds where kept really clean. If I hadn't paid the extra for the upgrades I wouldn't have been disappointed in posting for something that we didn't get!

everything about this hotel was great including food,drinks,rooms,location,and especialy the staff.This was our second time at theIberstar waves costa dorada andwe look forwaed to returning in the near future.,

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Ocean Al Faro Beso adult only

Food was generally warm at best at all locations as we ate at the buffet and most of the restaurants. Hotel is a bit over 6 years old and the rooms decor is old looking and not well maintained. Some staff were very good and others were just there to do a job and appeared as they couldnt care less if you were there or not.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Beautiful Resort

We stayed in the level and enjoyed the access we had to the restaurants and the private beach. Food itself was amazing - even at the buffet - huge selection! And make sure to enjoy the "waters' at the spa - even if you do not have a treatment. Although the beach itself is beautiful there is so much seaweed that walking along the shore is not so pleasant and you cannot go swimming. Also, from the beach area to the main lobby and activity zone is a good 10 minute walk - so be prepared for that. They do have golf carts though but sometimes you have to wait a while. Bring small bills for tips.

Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort and Spa: Amazing resort!

The swim out with partial ocean view - the best room ever! Awesome beach for walking! The food was amazing!! Delicious cocktails! Great aqua fitness sessions. Excellent staff and service. Wish I was still there!
