Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Awesome place.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The resort was very well kept , the grounds were well laid out, once we figured it out. Lol. Maps supplied were very confusing. Food was very good as well, but we have someone with us that had an aversion to onions and they were in everything.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Very nice vacation

Food, room, beach, service, entertainment all first class. Many choices for dining. Service on the beach was good. All staff well trained and friendly. Attended a couple of the shows - they were very well done. All in all, a very good holiday

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Luxury bahia principe akama excellent

Staff was friendly. Beautiful hotel great food. Loved the beach with bar service Want to return next year. Liked the ability to go between all of the resorts in the Don Pablo collection. Trip central was great

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Very beautiful, modern resort

If you enjoy walking, you'll love this resort! Widespread with miles of paths to walk. Food was really good. Bars were well stocked. Beaches and snorkelling top notch! Exceptional staff. It's a must see resort.

Barcelo Maya Palace: What a incrediable resort!

This is a resort with immaculate kept grounds and gardens. If you are looking for a huge beautiful beach, and grounds that will take your breath away, this is the resort for you. The rooms are beautiful, the resturants are so special, the French was our favourite, and the service was top notch. The first day I asked room keeping to keep the fridge full of beer and water, only regular coffee, and that is all it took for them to remember for our ten days stay. Every part of this resort was top not [... read more]ch. The beach for swimming and snorkeling was wonderful. Lots of chairs, never a problem getting them and the bar service was always fast. If you enjoy walking, you can go for miles it seems, and if not the double decker bus can take you anywhere. If you stay at the Palace you can go to any resturant or any bar so there is always new places to see. The Dolphins were great to watch and swim with if you chose. The shopping mall was not a big deal to us, but could be to others. We would go back to this resort in a heartbeat!

Riu Tequila: Best vacation ever!

We really couldn't find much to complain about with this resort except that the tea could have been hotter and the oatmeal should have been served unsweetened. (Better to allow people to sweeten their own oatmeal.) The resort is beautiful, the grounds clean and nicely landscaped, and we loved the Spanish style of architecture. Our vacation at the resort was all-inclusive. We did not feel nickel and dimed or unpleasantly surprised by hidden charges. We didn't have to pay for drinks at the bar or for the safe in the room. The food was great - plenty of choices and variety. We had breakfasts and suppers in the gorgeous dining hall. (One evening, we were musically entertained by the Romantic Trio, adding to our dining enjoyment.) For lunch and afternoon snack, we liked going to the outdoor restaurant. For a nice change some evenings, we took advantage of dining by reservation . The staff were friendly and helpful and always greeted us with "Ola" whenever they saw us. We were never asked or harassed for tips. The staff really made our stay enjoyable!! Our room was clean and comfortable and kept well stocked with water, towels, etc. We liked how the bed consisted of 2 double beds pushed together. Taxis and excursion vehicles were clean and new. Taxi fares were consistent. The drivers were neatly dressed and polite. The beach was clean, not crowded, and was well stocked with lounge chairs. There were more than enough lounge chairs for everyone and, therefore, no problem with folks claiming chairs for the day while others had to do without (as we had previously experienced on resorts in other countries and on cruises). The resort is across the street and a nice 5 minute walk away from the beach. We liked that there was often a driven motorized cart to take us to and from the beach if we didn't feel like walking. We were also permitted to use another Riu beach club for lunches - very convenient on days when we would spend time on the beach. We didn't use the pools on our resort, as we preferred the beach. Excursions were well-organized and went above and beyond our expectations. The tour guides were very friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, spoke English well. I would have liked to have had more spa services (like facials, makeup application, hair cutting/styling, as well as products to purchase), at our resort. These services were available at another resort but not convenient to access. On our last day and after checking out, we were able to go for a swim and then we were allowed to use the resort's showers, which were stocked with clean towels and hair dryer. We were so pleased with this. This had been a problem for us on a previous vacation in another country. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation at this resort!

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Fantastic resort

The resort has amazing landscape and is just a very beautiful place. The food was fantastic. You did not want for anything. Lots to choose from and great quality. For dinner it was all sit down meals. If you were in a rush to catch a show that may not happen but really why rush. The only issue we had was with the washroom in your room. Glass doors and no privacy. Everything else was amazing and can't wait to go back. Close to airport so no long drive to resort. Wifi was very nice added bonus.

Grand Riviera Princess: Medicore resort

Beach was small and water was murky. The bartenders and servers were slow and seemed disinterested in serving customers even with tip incentive. A lot of unexpected extra charges that the resort did a poor job of disclosing added on. Pool was nice with lots of areas including sun and shade. Rooms were exceptional and always well maintained. Gym facility was small and had no variety of equipment. overall the pool restaurants and rooms were the best part of our experience at this resort. We would  [... read more]not return.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Beautiful well kept resort

Such a beautiful resort that's extremely well kept. The staff were so sweet and even helped my boyfriend plan a birthday surprise for me in our room and sang to me at dinner. No complaints I will definitely be back (I recommend booking ocean view though or you may end up far from the main pool) also when you get there ask for second floor because ground level gets lots of animal visitors. Food is A+. Also 10 min walk down the beach to a clear water lagoon

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Fantastic Vacation

My 10th beach vacation was my favorite. We picked Ocean Coral & Turquesa after a lot of comparing thinking it would fit exactly what we were looking for, and we were right. The food was amazing, the drinks and service great. Beach, pool and facilities were all beautiful. And the foam party is not to be missed! This is the first time I will absolutely return to a resort, we loved it that much. Highly recommended!

Bel Air Collection Xpu-Ha Riviera Maya: Resort was ok

My trip was ok. Weather good and food not bad. The trouble we had with our resort was there was a few people who had things stolen. My friend being one of them, she had her beach bag taken which had her cell phone and ipod in it.

Reef Club Playacar Beach: lovely resort

This hotel was lovely because of the separate buildings in a jungle atmosphere. the service was excellent, food good and we enjoyed ourselves very much. we weren't impressed at the hard sell, aggressive time share. We thought we were seeing our sunwing rep but it was time share sales. Very bad!!

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Fantastic customer service

Prior to traveling, we requested a king size bed in our Oceanfront suite. We receive the king size bed in a family suite (with bunk beds) and an uncovered balcony. We requested to have our room changed to have a covered balcony. After 2 days, Ana was able to switch us to another room with two double beds with a covered balcony. Room and view from room were great. There are no bathtubs in rooms but otherwise has all the amenities and are very clean. We travelled with 3 other couples. The other co [... read more]uples had oceanview suite and hotel rooms. The suites are double the size of the hotel rooms. The food was good. The daily selection on the buffet was the pretty much the same each day. The customer service was fantastic. They we very accommodating. Oscar Cach was our waiter at the buffet for breakfast and lunch. Every morning he would have our coffees, juices, hash browns, sausage and ketchup brought to the table. One morning, I wasn't feeling well and wasn't planning on coming down for breakfast. I called room service to order ice cream. Room service would not send ice cream until lunch. So I decided to go to the buffet and see if Oscar could get me some ice cream. To my surprise, Oscar was in the process of sending ice cream to my room. What great service!!! I love that you didn't have to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants (except the Italian). The pool is great and there is always lounge chairs available. The beach has large sandbags due to the previous hurricane damage but just a short walk there was a great beach. The location of the resort is fantastic, only 1 block from Fifth Avenue, 15 minutes from the pier to take the Ferry to Cozumel. However on Friday night, you could hear the bass from the music from a bar until 5 am. We could only hear the late night music the one night. One recommendation for the resort is to have a luggage scale so guests can weigh their luggage when leaving.

Ocean Maya Royale: Lovely smaller resort with great amenities.

This beautifully landscaped resort provided for all of our needs. Restaurants x5 were great, food delicious with local and North American and European options always available and plentiful. Staff were always friendly and accommodating. The resort is just the right size, we could easily walk comfortably to all amenities. Pools were pristine, never crowded and easy to access. Valentin, the resort based off site planner was Very knowledgible for shopping, snorkeling, touring.....all Mayan Experiences, and his recommendations were made with client need, comfort and safety in mind. I loved all of my off site experiences as well, Valentin helped me make choices suitable for my interests, skills and age. Night shows at the resort were energetic, musical, magical and well attended. Although the resort was fully booked when we attended in Match, it never felt that way, we easily could find quiet time, quiet space and a friendly smile.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Wonderful Family Vacation

This was a perfect vacation for our group of 10 - 6 adults and 4 kids between 6 and 9. There was so much for the kids to do (wave pool, lazy river, kids water park, etc.) and lots of areas for the parents to supervise and have a drink (try the Riviera Maya). Food was always fresh and delicious (be sure to catch the fresh ceviche bar at the buffet) and we always had amazing choices. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Not the one if you want to enjoy the beach!

The staff was wonderful, the food was lovely, rooms were great! There is no beach and the night time entertainment was really lacking. The grounds were nice and the shops were great. A little music after the show every evening would have kept us happy!

Catalonia Yucatan: Very nice resort.

This was a very nice resort. On the positives it was very clean, great service, super staff and very good food. They don't make you jump through the usual hoops for the a la carte restaurants, you just show up and take you chances. We did 3 of the 4 and usually went around 6:30-7 and we only only had to wait once for an hour but we were a group of 6 so a little harder to accommodate. The Reef Coco Beach: Clean lovely resort

Beach is beautiful-- the resort very clean -- very friendly and very committed to making sure all tourists are enjoying their holiday -- walking distance to the town market-- very safe area- evening shows were wonderful

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great resort!

Very clean resort with lots of staff. Fantastic atmosphere with an european flair. Mixed nationalities from all over the world. The local animals, similar to raccoons, were very friendly and fun to watch. The beach was better than most in the area and the seaweed was very minor. Our son (eleven) was the only kid on the beach all week, he had a blast making sand castles.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great reaort

Resort was beautiful but really big. A little far from the beach but lots of shuttles to get you there. Food top notch. Property nice and clean. Lots of alacart restaurants to choose from. Staff was nice and friendly
