Grand Palladium Palace: Wonderful Retreat

The hotel and grounds were very well maintained. Everything is very close - beach, pool, restaurants. The selection at the buffet was plentiful and you could eat there everyday and always find something. Beach was small but you could walk along the beach to the other areas of the resort. The only small thing I could complain about is that there was no coffee available in the lobby first thing in the morning if you get up early ie 5:30/6:00 am.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Nice place, service was OK.

Nice resort, more amenities on the side with families. Service at the bar was lacking. Would have been nice to have a swim up bar at the adults only resort. Would have been nice if WiFi was included in the price of the resort.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Disappointing Trip

Rooms were nice and food was reasonable. Royal pool closed for full trip found out 3 days days b4 we arrived - substitute pool very dirty and poor conditions with peeling paint and mould on sides. Room internet did not work on first floor without going out on patio. Casino closed for 3 days unexpected maintenance. Very little action and old slot machines. We wanted to spend a lot time there but not worth it. Took taxi to other casinos $$$. 3 star rating is generous. Room service was good.

Ocean Sand Golf and Beach Resort: Excellent Resort

Everything was wonderful except for the beach. They have had so much erosion and apparently haven't bothered to fix it in years so it was a mess of sand bags and men working. Large diggers going back and forth all day planting trees to save the beach. Pools were fabulous.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.

I had an amazing time. The staff at hotel were super friendly and welcoming. They kept the resort very clean. The pool and beach were also nice. I was also impressed by the food. I'll definitely be back.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: an amazing resort

The hotel is new feels new the staff was great I would go back in a heartbeat the food was amazing we spend our 20th anniversary at breathless and I would go back again for my 25th anniversary Punta Cana was awesome

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Great stay in a nice family resort

The grounds are very clean friendly staff around the resort. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The only down side is that it is not located on the beach however you have access to the beach through the Royalton. Like the restaurants and no need to make reservations is nice. The pools are great as well as the water park. I would return again.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Still a Great Resort, but some things to watch for

We have been to this resort mutliple times ( over 10 ) in the last 5 years and it is still one of our favorites. Some issues are starting to come into play though, One major issue is that they have added Ambar II which is a second portion of this resort with newer rooms and it is very nice , unfortunatley they are not building any more beach front for these new rooms and as a result hard to find chairs on the beach if you plan on getting there after 9:00 am, also harder to plan al la carte dinne [... read more]rs, and even if you do some we had to wait over an hour for our entree's ( real first world problems , sitting in the beautiful south at a nice resort and these are my complaints), but in reality if you are paying to stay then you have expectations, this might have been the last time for this resort to see if there is something that we might try next time, too bad , great staff ( Nelson on the beach with the driniks), Victor at the beach cafe and El Olivio always make the stay amazing.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: On the beautiful Bavaro Beach!

A beautiful hotel on the beach with rooms close to everything - pools and restaurants. You don't need a trolley to get around Esmeralda! The buffet staff did their best even though it was usually full. The small alcove on the right was a good place to sit away from the crowd. The housekeeping staff did not always refill our mini fridge with the required items. We were on the 2nd floor and heard a lot of noise from up above - chairs being moved, stomping around the room, etc. The noise at night  [... read more]woke us up. Occidental Caribe: Very nice resort

Upon arriving for check in, we found that only 2 of our rooms were ready and they did not have another room in the same vicinity until the next day. That was fine but the room they gave for the night appeared to not have been cleaned. Once moved the next day, all was better and the rooms were nice. The food was just okay, as it seemed to be the same daily. All in all we had a good time with the group of 7 we went with.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Good resort but not great

Hotel is huge and attached to 4 others ! We stayed at the Punta Cana and it was near the beach and the pool bar but too far from main lobby despite the golf carts traveling regularly! Food pretty good, rooms were large and clean, beds ok, service good, but lack of communication often and better brands of liquor without paying extra! Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Awesome resort! Entertainment was amazing!

Resort needed some renovations ( walls needed to be painted, rooms needed to be renovated,etc) but the staff and entertainment was amazing! we were never bored. The beach has white sand but wasn't the nicest as it had seaweed. There were so many pools, we really loved that. We would definitely go back.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful resort

Every where you looked was gorgeous very well taken careof. The room was spotless. They made our 25th anniversary very special by flowers and banners and chocolate cake and champagne! ! Very easy booking with trip central would recommend to anyone looking for great value and ideal weather

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: AMAZING VACATION!

Our stay at Memories Splash Punta Cana during the week of Nov 8th to the 16th was EXCELLENT! The accommodations were clean and modern, all staff (including waiters/servers, housekeeping, bartenders, groundskeepers, etc) were great and always with a smile and willing to help. Great time and would def. return....have already given great reviews to friends and co-workers since our return! Gracias...Gracias...Gracias!!!

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Something for everyone!

Hotel was great! As a regular traveler to the Caribbean, and Mexico, I can safely say that you will enjoy your stay here. Beautiful grounds, food was good. You can call your drinks rather than use rail booze. Beach was beautiful. Not a bad thing to say! Entertainment team was keeping you engaged if you wanted, or stayed away if you wanted quiet time. We're in the process of planning our next trip here!

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: It was good

Everything was OK, nothing really over the top but nothing at the bottom. Only issue is with the vendors on the resort constantly harassing to buy stuff even after you purchase already. The beach towel card thing is annoying also.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Started off rocky but quickly turned...

We arrived at night so it was hard to get around. That was frustrating (thanks to Sunwing..grr). within 2 days we were having amazing time. EXCELLENT resort... staff were incredible. This is a must go resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Resort!!

This resort is a very clean resort, staff was polite at all times, service when issues arose was taken care of quickly (issues were minor). Pools and beach were nicely taken care of. The Bahia's are a great choice for vacations as I stay with them frequently. Ill be back too!

Riu Naiboa: GREAT TIME WITH GREAT PEOPLE!

love the place the food was amazing and the installations of the resort were amazing. even tough the beach is around 10 minutes walk. is a nice walk and you can get to chat with people from other resorts.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: don't go here

Spent a week at Sirenis in October. Terrible food, weak staff and the pols were filthy. Thankfully we didn't get sick but many other guests did. We love punta cana and will return but not to this resort.
