Pretty good resort food was exceptable rooms were good.Good Beach.Service was slow at times most of the staff were pleasant. Nighly entertainment could have a little English speaking. The grounds were imaculant

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Fantastic

Resort is fantastic, lots to do and can use all at other resorts that in in complex. A little disappointed in the reps from Airt Transat :( Pools food and service from staff at resort was great. It was a great week away

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amasing resort and a stellar vacation experience.

This resort is absolutely amasing.Extemely clean and the friendliest staff.We wanted for nothing.The nightly entertainment is energetic and fun and very well put together.Our food experience was outstanding,, There was nothing that we did not like.Woould recommend the upgrade to Colonial level this upgrade is awesome.Our butler Franklin was absolutely outstanding .We would recommend asking for him as your butler.This was the best vacation we ever had and cannot wait to return.A wonderful resort.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Family fun

We had a great family trip down at the Now Larimar. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, yummy food. The only drawback was that for our little 3 kids (aged 5,3,1), they weren't allowed to use the play structures available unless they were signed in to the daycare (no parents allowed). Nice for other families, but not ideal for us as our kids were too shy to go into care, so they just looked longingly at the what appeared to be a fantastic jungle gym. Also, for families of five like us, you need to book early for the family suite or get two rooms as we did.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Super Magnifico as they say here!

The resort was extremely nice, lots of things to do if that's what you're into or just want to have a peaceful rest surrounded by beautiful pools, tropical views and great service? Well you get that here as well!!

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: normally good

nice ground, good food, great staff, rooms and service and cleanness were good, pool was nice, beach has lots sea weed but they were cleaning everyday, ocean water was muddy at front and lots rocks and some with sharp edges and lots of weed. wifi was very slow, entertainment was good, day and night activities were good.beautiful resort.bars were good.lots locals, 2 grand opening nights for disco was too loud and too late ( 5 am).premium club is separated in beach area with better seats, better b [... read more]ar and they have better viewings in buffet restaurant area.bring spray bugs with you so as water shoes if you want to walk in ocean or beach.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Great resort

The grounds and views were nice, place was clean but lack dishes at breakfast and dinner times. Overall had a get time. Lots of exertion's to do at a reusable cost. Room service and hospitality was great.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Amazing with some issues

The resort is huge and I mean huge, however carts seem to pass quite often. It is a good 7-10 min walk (depending on your speed) to get from lobby to beach. Great fun place. Amazing rock bands that play to 20 people??? Golf course was amazing and the service unbelievable. In Oct, no-one is on the course. You are given towels to sit on and a cooler of ice water. After sweltering round, they present you with a wonderful ice cold wash cloth, then clean your clubs. Shuttle available to take you ther [... read more]e and back all the time..no waiting. Service at the hotel amazing, they couldn't do enough for you and never waited for anything. We wanted to be fairly close to lobby as we were golfing early each morning. Big mistake as when nightclub closed at 2 am herds of people partying walking down our hallway, then again at 4 am when casino closed. We didn't get much sleep. Also for some reason, which I read in other reviews, there were tons of mosquitos in the room. We probably killed about 30 a day and listening to them buzz in your ear when you are trying to sleep was not fun. Finally, if you are a beach person, which I am, I don't know if the ocean is like this year round where this hotel is situated, but it was pretty much unswimmable. The waves were huge and very rough. I've never experienced this at other hotels in Punta Cana. Plus the rough surf had washed the slope away, so that you had to climb a cliff to get up the beach. If not for the noise and mosquitos, I would definitely return. I would recommend to friends but with reservations.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Wonderful Resort

Although the resort is very big, it still has a cozy feel. The restaurants are great especially the ones by the ocean where there is always a breeze for lunch. The wait staff at the sit-down restaurants however are a bit on the rude side, we have been to many resorts all over and we found the Dominican not very friendly.. Rooms was very nice and spacious and cleaned daily. The night entertainment is hit or miss, the Michael Jackson night was amazing! Once the show is over however there's not a l [... read more]ot to do except go hang out in the lobby or on the patio and they close pretty early. Your only option after that is the Disco or the Casino. Overall it was a great week!

Occidental Caribe: Beautiful resort and beach

We had a great time. The resort was lovely and the beach is beautiful. We enjoyed the food and restaurants. Wonderful service. We would recommend this resort to all our family and friends. Thank you Barcelo for a wonderful vacation

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Paradise Found

What a great property. From check in to check out, the staff and service was top notch. By far the best all inclusive trip from Aruba to Jamaica that I have experienced. The staff and their can do attitude, and wonderful amenities made this an a vacation to remember.

The rooms were lovely although dimly lit and the grounds beautifully kept. The staff were friendly .Beware of going in October. It was very humid and several of the restaurants were not really airconditioned. The heat also made for a very warm pool. Our only complaint was at the Japanese restaurant. We were ordering a la carte and only half of our group got their food.The others were not served until 40 minutes later and the service in between was totally unacceptable. Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Fabulous Time

We enjoyed our stay at Memories Splash Punta Cana. The resort was very well maintained, Food was excellent, Beach beautiful.The staff is amazing. Especially Valentin and Emillio. They went above and beyond!!!!

Occidental Caribe: Beautiful place but poor service

Was there with my boyfriend for my 30th birthday, stayed from Oct 26- Nov 2. The rooms and resort are beautiful, ocean was super rough, food not so great and service and English of staff not so good. The staff seems annoyed to even be there. We originally had a great room but facing a pool they were doing construction on which we weren't even aware there was construction at the resort until we arrived, asked to change rooms and while doing so at the front desk the man blatantly started speaking  [... read more]in Spanish about us to another employee. Not much air conditioning throughout the grounds. The casino is small and the staff there are unwelcoming and don't greet or speak to you nicely. I know it was the week of Halloween but I felt like they were zombies that couldn't speak. Of all my travels this was the first time I was happy to go home. WILL NOT be going back to dominican again my advice is stick to Cuba or Mexico where the beach is better and so are the people. Also in dominican they hassle you to buy souvenirs and want to charge extreme and outrageous prices so if you are not comfortable negotiatin prices then don't bother. Do not get a message on the beach it is not private and everyone can see.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Good Resort

We had a comfortable stay at the Ocean Blue and enjoyed the large variety of food. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the beach and the pools. Although there were a few passing rain showers, overall the weather was great and we got plenty of sunshine.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Super

The Luxury Ambar 2 stay was great. Room was very nice, pools were clean and the grounds staff keep the place immaculate. The staff in all facets were friendly and helpful. Many of the golf cart drivers went out of their way to help with getting you to where you wanted to go or move your bags. The Beach was well kept with all of the gentleman raking the seaweed which mother nature was not being cooperative with. The bar staff at the pools and beach were always cheerful, friendly and entertaining. [... read more] I was impressed with the vast amounts of nightly entertainment in so many areas such as the theater and lobbies. The food choices and quality was also very good. Principle town was a great place for laughs after the theater. I would definitely like to plan a return visit. Great job Bahia !

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort, great vacation!

Beautiful resort, very well maintained, great food... Ray Bear and The Machine with the entertainment staff made our stay so fun and memorable. Would definitely recommended this resort and would love to go back!

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Great resort!

This is a great resort. We were there for a wedding. The food was great. The beache was clean and beautiful. The aquatics team offered a lot of a variety of water activities to choose from. Great gym facility. The only thing that surprised us was seeing children on the resort (Elegance side) as we were told it was an adults only resort.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Colonial club. Worth the upgrade!

We stayed oct 12/2015 week for our anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The butler was there asking if he could help us. Even when we didn't request him. 24 hr room service was great for times when you just wanted to stay in. Ocean was amazing. +++ on the colonial club. Def worth it.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: “Beware of the V.I.P. Breakfast! - Awesome Resort”

I first have to warn about going to the V.I.P. breakfast. It's all about a sale. They want you to purchase into their resorts. The lowest price being 30,000.00 to 125,000.00. They tell you that when you say no they won't push it any longer, well that is not true at all. They also tell you that it is only 90 minutes of your time, again not true, I broke the talk off at 2.5 hours. They were not happy. Brooke the manager of the sales office was all warm and fuzzy until we told her we did not want t [... read more]o purchase because of the U.S. dollar value at the moment and she got up in a huff and chucked the worksheet of all the "great prices" down on the desk. When you first arrive at the resort you will be swept away buy one of the concierge employee's that take such excellent care of you until you say "no" to the sales team. Our concierge person Cesar was all over us and couldn't do enough for us until he heard we did not want to buy into the resorts. After that, we asked him for some more water in our room (prior to saying no to the sale) he said it would be there in a jiff. It never came. Even when he saw us in the lobby he didn't even acknowledge us any more. No good morning nothing. Very unprofessional in my opinion. So avoid the breakfast if you have no intention of buying, they make YOU feel so guilty for wasting their time. As for the resort, it is beautiful. The rounds are very well kept, the pools constantly cleaned. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained. I read about musty smells but didn't find our room musty at all. Room Tip: If you want quiet at night, get a room on the opposite side of the pools
