Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort

Loved every thing about the resort. Staff was great. We just did not like the Mexican raccoon , type animal running around , getting on tables near main pool restaurant. The evening music and dancing was great.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Amazing resort located in the jungle by the ocean.

This hotel is very nice and clean with pools around the whole property. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t care about long sandy beach that you can walk for hours however it offers small man made beach that is beautiful, great for kids and very privet. Enjoy the amazing sound of the jungle with singing birds and monkeys jumping from tree to tree. The hotel is on the border with Xcaret park that is also amazing and worth to see. The hotel offers the ride to jewelry factory and tequila factory as well the playa the Carmen town with all touristy stores, restaurands and long sandy beach.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Wondeful Family Resort....

Spent one week in Feb 2016 with our children and grandchildren, had a fun filled time. Lots to do, Pools, Dolphin show on the Resort every morning, Lazy River was a big hit with both young and old. Beach is a little stoney but has a natural beauty. Rooms lovely, very spacious, modern bathroom. More dining options of an evening would have been nice.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Great hotel in many ways, decor a bit old.

Conveniently close to airport. Grounds and wildlife are beautiful. Great fitness center with professionally instructed classes. I took cycling, bootcamp and yoga. Decor of lobby in Del Mar is not tasteful. It looks like badly matched disney colors with some left over paintings and murals that don't go. The Beach side is much more tasteful. Good recycling program. I dont like the brown water ponds around the lobby area. Looks dirty and like mosquito breeding grounds. A bit of a smell from the water. Food was very good. Drinks were good. Loved the Japanese restaurant. The Rock Cafe was a nice change. Full service restaurant/sportsbar without a reservation. The evening entertainment was good quality with a professional quality live band. The disco played good music. The shopping center at the resort had some good cafes and bars. The beach was nice but it's very wavy as there is no protection. The beverage service by staff on the beach was great. We had to go to the beach before breakfast to reserve a chair for the day.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: all you could ask for

service - servers around the pool - they are constantly on the move asking you if you would like another drink, picking up empties. tireless workers. Servers at dinner - wine, water glasses always being topped up. dirty plates whisked away. property - grounds, rooms - always tidy, clean and sparkling fitness centre - the new fitness center is the best I have seen in the Caribbean. makes my private club back home look shabby. worked out every day in that centre and it was awesome. Food - fresh [... read more] and lots of variety. no stomach issues for the four of us. Restaurants - went to Spanish, Japanese, Mexican and Seafood. Service was excellent for all. Food excellent at all save for Seafood restaurant where we rated it good. For the Japanese, we were not at a show table which is what we originally wanted. that was overcome by amazing service and tasty fresh food. no issues in being able to sign up for a Hobiecat sailboat. Sailing was a delight due to moderate winds.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great time at the GBP Akumal resort

Thoroughly enjoyed the grand Baha'i Príncipe Akumal resort. Chose the Akamal as you have access to all resorts on the property including the restaurants and buffets. If you get tired of walking there are trams that you can jump on. Staff were very friendly and always something going on to keep you entertained. We stayed in Villa 83 which was next to the ocean, infinity pool and restaurant (that turns into the late night snack bar after 11 pm).

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Very nice resort

The hotel room are a bit musty smelling probably from the air conditioning, very clean. The beach was very nice but poor snorkelling in from of the hotel area. Everything else was very nice, great food with very good service.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Family friendly resort

Kids water park, kids club with caring staff and fun events (pinata party, treasure hunt, kid shows, etc.), clean, safe, amazing beach, delicious food and friendly staff. Lots to do at the resort for a family; no need for excursions.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Best All Inclusive Yet

We have been to several places in Mexico and this was easily the best one. Food, room, staff were all top notch. The buffet is huge, and had options for everyone...be prepared to gain some weight on your trip here. Pool bar was great...all alcohol was brand name, service was amazing.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Awesome Resort

The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were nice, the buffet was awesome- food was delicious. The staff was amazing. The only issue was our room fridge did not work very good. The room staff was good but were slow and forgot face cloths, and shampoo most of the week. But after a few days when we asked about it, we received them promptly.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Clean family friendly resort

We had a great trip and a great experience. The resort was larger than we originally thought it was but once you figured out where everything was it was great: staff was amazing and so helpful, always willing to help anyways they could.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Gran Bahia Principe Coba

3 stars for the beautiful grounds, buildings, overall service. Food was ok, Beds in our room were like sleeping on a hard floor, smelled like mildew. We were there for a Destination wedding, that was well organized 5 star.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Very nice

Grounds were spotless. Tireless effort by staff no matter what time of day Mexican people awesome. There is just no surprise for us. Everything worked everything clean service perfect. What more would you want. First trip to Mexico and absolutely loved it

Platinum Yucatan Princess: A real 5* resort. Everything was great!

The a-la-carts required no reservations, unlimited visits and were excellent. We found the buffet to be much like the the a-la-carts in that we were catered to there as well.The food selection and quality beat any other place we have been by a long shot.The staff was very attentive. Drinks were brought to us on the beach or anywhere on the resort we happened to be. From start to finish it was a great choice.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: A great vacation in February.

Beautiful,lush,tropical grounds with exotic birds and wildlife.Good food,and lots of choices.Japanese and Mediterranean a la cartel enjoyed,but book early or you won't get in.Spent everyday at the beach,admiring the turquoise water.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Our favorite

The service is great. The grounds are spotless and well maintained. The staff are always happy , friendly and go out of their.way to help you. Our third time here and we will be back! Highly recommended.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Quiet place

My wife and I just got back last week after spending 7 days at Azul Five. The resort was clean, food was amazing at all restaurants ( one of best resort when talking food ). Buffet could be improved. Not enough choices , was hard to find good salads , fruits or variety of food/snacks. Staff were friendly so no issues there. One negative is not enough entertainment, animation staff were ok, but need to have more ways to get adults involved. Night time entertainment should be added because after 1 [... read more]0pm the place is pretty much dead. (maybe cuz we are used to more action at night. If you want to chill and relax , this resort is for you. We did enjoy our time in the sun.

Catalonia Playa Maroma: Wonderful family vacation

Everything about this resort was wonderful. Beach is amazing. Food was great. Close transfer from airport. Staff was all very helpful. We traveled with our young family and it was an incredibly accommodating to kids. We booked privileged and our rooom was in the best building, right by the beach. This is the first resort we would consider returning.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great place

Resort, food and staff were excellent, wasn't to crazy about the room but we didn't stay in it that much. Resort was huge however staff made it easy to get around. I would go back if I had the chance, it's a very kid friendly place but caters to adults as well.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fun trip

The buffet was excellent. The Junior room was suitable but smaller than I expected. This hotel is part of 3 others and you must take a trolley to get to the beach as it is too far too walk. However the beach was lovely
