Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Ultimately fantastic

This is a top notch resort with excellent dining options, a variety of recreation choices and all kind of places to relax and unwind. the people were so friendly and accommodating, making our stay most pleasant. Thanks to Sheila, our Sunwing Rep, for excellent excursion suggestions.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing Resort

Food was excellent. Grounds were emacluant. Resort had great variety in choice of restaurant locations - felt like you were in a small village. Great to be able to go to great a la carte restaurants wearing shorts after a long day in the sun. Service was excellent. Did have issue with toilet and air conditioner first day there but issues were resolved quickly that day - unlike other resorts we have been to in the past. Will definitely return.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Fabulous

With only one exception this resort is the place to be. We were a party of 9. Active grandparents, children and grandchildren ages 17-73. Only 2 of their many restaurants take advance reservations. Because of the size of our group it was difficult to get a table at a decent eating hour. That aside we learned to cope quickly and had our best family trip to date. The resort is large so lots to offer with beautiful grounds, staff and services.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Great beach for snorkelling!

The beach was exactly what we were looking for -- swimming off the beach looking for colourful fish, turtles, stingrays and more. The room was spacious, always very clean with a stocked fridge. We were happy that the service was Eco conscious with the washing of linens and towels. Staff everywhere were superb. Wonderful hard working people who went out of their way to arrange, serve, drive, problem solve, and more. Too many wonderful people to mention here. the hotel was very clean...rooms were stocked ....food was esquisit....bus ride was comfortable...pools were very clean//staff went out of there way to make your stay comfortable...the entertainment was of this world ..

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Fantastic Vacation

The resort was absolutely Beautiful, Very Safe, food was plenty and lots, alacarte's were very good, rooms were very modern, clean and spacious. No waiting for drinks,meals. Pool chairs were plentiful with towels on hand, very good idea. All our accommodations were as requested. Entertainment was good, great SuperBowl party outdoors and lobby area with big screen TV's and outdoor cabana's. Resort is a moderate size with everything in walking distance, staff were very nice and cheerful, Tomas and Ricordo, pool waiters were very accomadating, cheerful and great service, maids cleaned rooms daily,had a GREAT time and were close to our other friends. Only downfall, pools could have been warmer, but outdoor temperature was cool at night. Would recommend this resort and come back as several people on resort were returning vacationers. A great vacation and memories, all was more than we expected. Will recommend to our friends / family for future vacations.

Loved the service, housekeeping was fantastic, restaurants were are wonderful. Can't say enough good things of all staff. The resort was always spotless, the grounds were kept beautifully, the beach was weed free and the water was crystal clear.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Okay

The room I stayed in was not the cleanest. The floors were not scrub every time the maid cleaned the room. This is the first resort where I had to pay for wi-fi for the second device.The time shares personnel are located in the front lobby and throughout the resort and they are very pushy.It did matter how many times we said no we were not interested to stop bugging us they would still bug us.The front lobby never had any small bills to exchange. They would tell you to come back tomorrow every t [... read more]ime.The pool at the back of the resort did not have hand rails to get into the pool,the hand rails were located approximately 3 feet from the edge of the pool. So you would have to step down into the pool without any hand rails. The pool down at the beach only had two locations that had the hand rails right at the edge of the pool.The pool at the beach was huge.We only spent two days at the beach pool because there was an odour that smelt like sewer. The pool side waiters were hit and miss. They did not come around very often.We were there for two weeks. The staff for the restaurants were great.

from the moment of arrival everything was beautiful, grounds were lush, everything shining, food and drinks were amazing, each part of the complex offered something for everyone, beaches and pools very inviting...

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Baiha Príncipe Coba

The resort was lovely. Beautiful grounds and main buildings. Shared spaces and rooms we clean. Pools were clean. Staff were continuously cleaning and maintaining but were friendly and unobtrusive. A la cart and buffets were fantastic. Concerns/problems were dealt with in a timely manner with courteous and helpful staff. Really the only Issues encountered were VERY hard beds (slept poorly-even my husband complained and he can sleep on almost anything) - we heard the same complaints from other gue [... read more]sts - that they could not help us with, we only received one hour of Internet per day free then you had to pay and we were required to pay a daily fee for a room safe which is essential. For an all inclusive stay we were rather surprised at these additional fees.

This was my 3rd time at the Grand Serenis. I always liked it. The place is impressive with plenty to keep you occupied or to veg on the beach or by the pools. The only negative I have is the beach sand is not as fine and clean as I have seen elsewhere.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Very impressed!

The grounds were immaculate! Food exceeded our expectations. Staff were very friendly! Large resort but lots to do and see! Loved the amount of beach front. Beds were very comfortable compared to other resorts we have stayed at. Would definetly do this one again. Great bang for your buck! This trip was just myself and my wife, however, I would return to this resort with my kids as there was a great set up on site to entertain kids and a long list of daily activitys for them!

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Good but not great

I stayed in building 14. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The food was pretty good, but the a-la cartes were always full. We could only get into the a-la-carte's at 9pm. The pool area was quite nice and the beaches were well maintained, but the pools were not heated. The worst part of this resort was the layout of the room. It is really weird. The bathroom is not separated from the rest of the room. If you are in the bathtub you can be seen in the entire room. It is really strange. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Needs some updating but food & service excellent!

The Blue Bay is definitely in need of some TLC. Our room had a musty smell however we didn't spend much time there and it didn't bother us once we ha been there a few days. The staff was wonderful. Efficient, happy, friendly and there is no lack of cleaning going on. Food also very very good both in the buffet and a la carte restaurants. Wifi in the room was almost non-existent which was disappointing. Beach in front of the resort was murky and rocky however just a 10 minute walk down the beach  [... read more]brings you to a gorgeous lagoon area with crystal blue water. We visited it twice during our week and it was one of the highlights.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great time!

This resort was great. We really enjoyed being able to travel between the different Bahia resorts to utilize all of the restaurants and activities. The food was very good everywhere we went. This was a very quiet resort when we were there in early February, which is exactly what we needed.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Lots to do!

The resort was massive so there was lots of fun stuff to do. From the staff to the food everything was so good! Beach volleyball every day. Free dolphin shows. Our favourite thing was the party boat, its a must do!

Catalonia Yucatan: They won us over!

We arrived very late at night and my spouse was unwell. We didn't have a great first few moments, but the staff stepped in, cheered us up. Food was amazing. We booked here because of snorkelling. Once my hubby was well enough and finally could get in the water - he knew why the place was recommended to us! We loved it!

The service was exceptional, food was amazing loved the beach and pool. This is our second visit to this resort and just as satisfied as the first visit. We are sure to return again sometime in the near future.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing

Very clean food delicious n service out of this world dolphins experience awesome music n entertainment the other hotels received u well to. The beach was beautiful n water warm. Wud like to go two weeks next time one week too short

Grand Sunset Princess: wonderful resort

The hotel is huge but that is a great plus too You never felt that it was crowded .The walkways are lovely with great Mayan statues.It is clean as a whistle.The beach was lovely. Did have some weeds snd stones.Rooms are nice but could use some updating.We stayed in platinum.Needs hooks etc in bathroom to be able to hang up your clothes while showering.Our snackbar/grill at the Riviera was great.Fausto was our favorite waiter.Very attentive and lovely man.Food was good.Was not impressed by the si [... read more]ze and lack of ambiance of the a la carte's.The tsunami was our favorite.Great show good food.Worst was the Mexican with strange menu.We where hoping for some great mexican food.Shows where really nice .We loved the fire show and the Mexican and Grease.
