Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great resort!

Great resort! Clean rooms and common areas. Amazing food, great service, friendly staff. Able to go to other resorts in the Bahia Principe complex for a la carte dinners. Trolleys available to take you to other resorts, or shopping at the Hacienda if you choose not to walk. Beach was a little seaweedy but thats just nature, nothing the resort can to do prevent it! Hilton Vallarta Riviera Resort: ok resort

resort was ok definately not a 4 diamond food was terrible i got food poisoning was sick for 3 days still not over it the hotelwanted me to pay for doctor and meds everything including pop watered down generally the staff was excellent including servers always short towels and have to go looking for the maid would not go back again who ever does the ratings should be replaced

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Unique Place

I would like to start by saying I am a simple man with simple needs...this resort is upscale in food and service to a point of me not being comfortable...very nice but too much for me...the food was like in there advertisement,gourmet...delicious and prepared wonderfully but at times all you might want is some plain old normal everyday food but if you are into all restaurant style meals with 4 and 5 courses served over an hour then this is your place...the bars make wonderful drinks and the bart [... read more]enders work non stop but almost always only 1 bartender at a time working which makes for long waits for a drink at times...the grounds are large but are lovely and well cared for making for nice leisurely walks but there are carts that will drive you if walking is a problem for you...the beach is not the best for any water sports but there is alot of lounges and Bali beds to get in the sun or the shade whichever you want...all the staff are great and will help with everything they can and are always happy to help...this may sound like a bit so great review but it is me just taking a long about way of saying it is a really nice place just a bit too fancy for me.

Occidental Cozumel: We love it here!!

Awesome staff! Front office Gabriel is the best. Small resort with a big heart. Beds are very comfortable; clean rooms; large bathrooms. Food delicious, many options. Love the beach-able to snorkel from shore. Entertainment staff are amazing, great shows.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Beautiful spot

Just spent a week at the iberostar grand .... the staff were an amazing crew that looked after you like no other ... hotel is beautiful and food was very good .the shows were very good , so much talent , & you could tell the staff was loving every minute of it ...hotel decor was stunning ... I wouldn’t hesitate to return ... it was a great week ....

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Great resort

Overall the hotel was great. Very clean & friendly staff. Ala cartes were very good, buffet was was not great. Bar hours & locations could be improved. Lobby bar isn’t actually in the lobby and doesn’t open until 4. Bars by the pool are open earlier but it would be great to have a place away from the pools in air conditioning during the day

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Good resort

Staff are excellent and are hard working. Rooms are very clean but outdated. Rooms need updating and shower tub combination is very hard to get in. You literally have to sit and swing your legs into the tub because of the height of the ledge. Food is good and there are many great options to choose from. Steakhouse French Italian and Mexican were excellent. The resort is really spread out so plan on walking a lot or taking the shuttle trains. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort!

Resort was great. Very clean, great service everywhere, and the most friendly staff. Our Air Canada representative who helped booked excursions was fantastic! Food was good, the restaurant foods were amazing. Beaches were beautiful and every resort was full of fun shows, you were never bored! Weather was fantastic, barely any bugs. All in all, would recommend this resort!!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very beautiful resort.

Resort is surrounded by jungle, therefore there was an abundance of different birds and other wildlife. Beach was good though there is a limited area to swim. That being said there were plenty of fish swimming around. The buildings and grounds are meticulously kept and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food was second to none.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Beautiful resort

Property was beautiful with a lush jungle setting. Loved the ocean pool, food was great, staff phenomenal. Best part was the wildlife. There were some animals in enclosures but there were wild monkeys, coatis, iguanas, agoutis, deer and so many different birds. Perfect for wildlife lovers!

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Wonderful vacation

The hotel was located on one of the most beautiful properties I have ever been to. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make our vacation the most memorable one we ever had. The beaches were clean and free of seaweed which made swimming very enjoyable. Drinks were first class and plentiful. The food was delicious and professionally prepared by well train chefs. Me and my wife will be definitely planning a future vacation at this resort for sure.

Park Royal Beach Huatulco: An experience

The suites were beautiful, clean very spacious and spectacular view from the huge deck. The helpers were lovely, some quite innocently angelic, a real highlight of the trip to interact with these sweet people. The food was fabulous, abundant varieties, ethnic themes. interesting, healthy choices, beautiful fresh fruits, and decadent desserts. The worst was the blasting loud music at the pool which flooded the beach area, insensitive to the age and feedback from the patrons and making it difficul [... read more]t to relax. We frequently walked down the beach and stretched out in front of another resort for peace and quiet. Also there were not enough lounge chairs or shade umbrellas at our beach. All the chairs were taken, reserved by towels, by 9 or 10 am. The music during the dinner shows was also too loud, forcing people to eat outside and not see the show, or come to dinner early before the shows started. Canadians are generally too polite to give feedback but may choose another vacation spot next time. I gave my feedback about the noise to the manager on our departure.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Great. Not perfect

Service and food absolutely top notch. Entertainment non existent. Teen club not happening anymore which was a disappointment, as that's one of the main reasons we booked there. Not enough loungers...

Dreams Huatulco: Very nice resort

Awesome resort with fantastic service! The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The rooms could use an update with more cupboard space and better pillows. The beach was beautiful and great for swimming. Loved all the amazing pools. Could use a few more treadmills in the gym. The best restaurants were the Italian and Asian. Overall very recommendable!

Riu Flamingos: Great hotel with some minor issues

This hotel is great from food, cleanliness, staff, service and little extras. Didnt like the two seperate beds together to make one but not a deal breaker. Apparently it's not as nice as other RIU's but my husband and I had a great time. Everyone works hard everyday to keep the place clean and keep the beach area and grounds free from litter its nice to the environment is a priority . Our last day my sleeping wear went missing i kept it in the same place everyday outside my luggage and locked e [... read more]verything else up and it was the only thing missing. Not too worried about it but it does happen Always wise to lock up important things in the room. We never used the room safe but locked our bags. If your a great traveller and have an appreciation for difference of foods and are open minded youll have a great time Alot of people complain of the stupidist things and have to realise their not in their home country and foods, beliefs ,customs WILL BE DIFFERENT and that's okay because after all its what makes travel unique.

Azul Ixtapa Resort: We loved this resort!

It is a great resort, in a wonderful location! We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The resort and room were very clean and we loved the ocean view! I would have no hesitation recommending this resort. I would like to see one more bar possibly a piano bar for the evening. A little more information provided for the surrounding area would be helpful. Overall we had a wonderful time and would return in the future!

Fast check in and check out Welcoming staff Comfortable room, comfortable beds Nice shower, nice bath Beautiful beach but not enough palapas A LOT of people selling you all kinds of things on the beach. Actually by the end of the week, I felt the whole Walmart came by me: hats,sunglasses,bottle openers, beach dresses, bowls, towels, carpets, stuffed animals, necklaces, rings, bags, popcorns, mangos...they come often but respect you and do not bug you if you do not show any interest in  [... read more]their products. If so, you can easily reduce the price asked by half ! Nice pools but either too warm (good for children) or too cold (the pool is always empty !) They made extra care to organized a wonderful evening outside by the beach. They will try to offer you a 50 minutes free massage if you just attend a 20 minutes presentation on their Dreams membership...then tell you at the last moment that it is actually 90 minutes to get the free massage. The elevators were often down during our stay...and not quite sure they were safe to use ! Adult only jacuzzi...always full of childrens and probably full of pee ! They do not let you borrow 2 boogie boards at the same time. They say 1 per room only...not cool. Plus the boogie board are pretty wrecked. Make sure to check them before using them in order for the resort not to charge you something if they accuse you to have broked their board when you take them back after maximum an hour. PRIVILEGES GUEST Extra 200$ per guest for 1 week vacation 6-7 and 8 th floor Concierge at your service, friendly, helpfull Excellent coffee Self serve Bar during the day Appetizer, fruits, desserts during the day, hot breakfast...surprisely excellent. Awesome some ocean view Extra large room Choice of pillows...I found it by reading a pamphlet...not mentionned at my arrival at the Resort Access to 1 hour hydrotherapy spa ...you need to ask for it...because they do not explain it at your arrival that you have access to this service...I found it on a Dreams booklet I found doing and extensive search on the web (not their website)...and not at the resort ! My travel agent did not even know ! Jacuzzi on the balcony...do not let this seduce you...jacuzzi has probably been used only twice a year...dirty, badly positioned so when you are seating...you are actually looking inside your room and not at the beach. Included in all the rooms and not exclusive to Privileged Section

Riu Palace Baja California: Nice new resort

Nice room except if you are facing the Santa Fe Riu. Lots of loud music and pool parties. Waiters are very friendly and polite. Nice variety of restaurants with plenty of food. A lot of entertainment on site...volleyball...aqua fitness...challenges....ping pong... Very nice beach...you can walk all the way to the marina.

This a very nice hotel is a quiet place for the number of people is a vacancy we don't feel to much people. I love you keep the naturel surrounding and the small animal and birds have around. the pool is good with the big place and you keep a small place for a quiet I love that The service is very good in a cafeteria the food is varied and delicious The people who work there is very nice and very hard-working. the room is clean every day and the fridge is full all time

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: not bad

Hotel is older but clean. Pool area is ok but hard to find shade as there are not enough umbrellas. Food was ok in the buffets but the ala cart restaurants were not very good. Hard to get face cloths and extra water. Wine was not very good but palatable. Room safe was an extra charge almost 70 dollars Canadian for 2 weeks and it was keyed so you have to carry the key with you . Beach towels were a pain only 1 each and needed a card to get 1 also if you lost you towel or your card you were charge [... read more]d for it .The staff were all really friendly. The beach area was nice but again hard to find shade as not enough umbrellas. The nice thing about this resort is you can walk off , take the buss or a cab and explore the area in relative safety.
