Bahia Principe Explore Coba: great resort

We attended the resort to attend a wedding, it was beautifully done. The grounds of the resort were nicely manicured. The food was fantastic. The pools were well kept and the kids water park was clean. I think if they were to rubberize the water park floor it would have saved a lot of scrapes. The nighlty shows were entertaining and the staff were great.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great Eco resort

The room had great view of the jungle, all food was tasty and lots of selection, loved the coffee bar in early am for lattes, cappuccino The spa pool was very relaxing, good choice of quiet pool or activity pool, lots of chairs at beach. Beautiful bike,walking paths and snorkelled in cenotes on site, the only big negative is the timeshare people who great everyone on arrival, located where there is a big sign for Guest Services, really sad that customers are deceived this way, with drinks, promi [... read more]sed a breakfast..and if you say no and approach them by mistake they try again, then call your room, don't be fooled guest services is NOT guest services go to front desk only at concierge for resort info.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great Resort

Very clean, service was great, food choices and taste was awesome, great family resort, bring bug dope or use the one on the resort, we did not use it as we did not feel the bug bites until later in the week where some of us actually reacted to the bites with large welts

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Very Clean and well spaced out.

Property very clean and well staffed. Excellent time. Travelled with my wife, son and father. We all agreed that the property and excursions offered made our week incredible. The nightly shows could use a bit of tuning up, but were a nice way to end the day. Would recommend resort without hesitation.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Absolutely amazing

We have stayed at this resort 5 times and have yet to find a place we liked more..it's a fabulous resort with chatacter and charm .We brought friends who want to go back next year.. we love iberostar tucan quetzel. .

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort!

Very large complex, extremely well kept, excellent service with good food, pools are very large and clean but cold, bartenders are friendly and do a great job. rooms are nice and large and very clean with everything working, maid service is excellent.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Stunning resort

My husband and I had never been to an all inclusive before and we absolutely loved it from: the room - it was clean, spacious, with the right amenities the grounds - they were beautiful, well kept, and relaxing to walk about in the food - we enjoyed trying different buffets, the variety of food and the fun generated in the special restaurants the beach and pool - both were well kept, an abundance of sun cots so you always had somewhere to sit and lie and one felt very safe, we really enjoyed the [... read more] sand and water at the beach the service - was good, all questions were answered, the waiters and waitresses were friendly and on the last day we appreciated having somewhere to store our clothes, have a shower and get ready for our later departure therefore enjoying a few more hours of sunshine It was a wonderful experience and we felt relaxed and well taken care of for our time there. Definitely going back to a Barcelo property again. Thank you for your attention to the details

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Super Service! Fabulous Food!

Beach: Beautiful. Amazing snorkeling makes this place special. We saw sea turtles, barracuda, grouper, stingrays and many colourful tropical species. Rooms: Modern, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable and shower was great! Staff/Service: Friendly and so responsive to your every need. We had a couple of issues with door lock needing new batteries and air conditioning leaking water that were addressed immediately! Food: Delicious and lots to choose from at the buffet. Steak at the Gourmet  [... read more]a la carte was done to perfection! Would not recommend the Brazilian restaurant as they rushed us and the meat was very salty. Loved lunches poolside and breakfast outside overlooking the sea! Wine/Beer: Disappointing. White wine had aroma of gasoline! Horrible. Red not much better but tolerable. You could get better for a price. We walked into the town of Akumal and bought a couple of bottles for better prices than the hotel was offering. Only one type of beer and not our choice brand. Entertainment: They had a good rock n roll band one night out of 7. If you are looking for nightlife, this place is not for you. It's more likely suited for mature couples looking for a relaxing vacation although there were some young families. Pools: Main pool was great, but we especially liked the infinity pool near our room after a day at the beach. Lots of cabanas on the beach, but you need to claim early. We have been to many resorts along the Yucatan peninsula and this is among the best! Loved that they do not try to push some type of time share nor loyalty club upon your arrival! This is a lovely resort and we would likely return.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent resort!

Beautiful hotel and grounds...very clean, great location, nice beach with snorkeling. Good food, lots of selection and many a la cartes to choose from. Service was good...everyone was friendly. Easy to get around with shuttles. Overall a great resort with lots to do for kids and adults.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great trip!

The grounds are beautiful. Beach and pools are great. The man-made lagoon is full of fish and fun for kids. Lots of neat creatures around for kids to see (e.g., pelicans, iguanas, coatimundi).It's a large resort, but you can hop on a tram anywhere. Drinks were great and the food was decent. Always options available for vegetarians. It's about 1.5 hours from the airport.Check in was quick, but check out took a long time (only one person was working).

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: honest review

The hotel is an older hotel but recently renovated. Staff very friend but extremely short staff. You have to wait for service but it's reasonable when you get it. The food is decent with a variety of options. For adults I highly recommend the adult section. Great area close to most excoursion(1 hour ).

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Excellent Vacation Resort!

The resort was great, check in was easy and well organized. Food was good, but not labeled very well (too vague). A la carte food was good too. Be sure to ask for the Teppanyaki table when visiting Mikado, as some hotel reps won't inform you of the difference. For the most part everything was great, including the rooms, food, drinks, staff and transportation!

Had an incredible time, everything was above my expectations. Value for the price was excellent. The grounds were well maintained, rooms were spacious and comfortable, staff were very nice, food was great, definitely going back.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Outstanding staff, resort and service !

We stayed at this resort from Feb. 2-9th. Outstanding staff, resort and service. We could not ask for anything more. Staff were plesant and respectful and attended to all your needs and wants. Transportation from the airport and Check in was flawless. No issues at all. We stayed in villa #53 (close to main lobby). Grounds and beach are kept immaculate. No debris or unkept areas. Akumal Beach is excellent for snorkelling. Lots of chairs available to all guests. Drinks provided and delivered to yo [... read more]u while you're in the pool or beach! Abundance of food at the Buffet... Lots to choose from ... Food quality was excellent. Ana at the buffet was fantastic and looked after us very well. Lovely smile and service day or night. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone as we would return back to Akumal with our family.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Good service

This Eco friendly resort was nice, staff were friendly. This would be a good resort for younger kids as there are lots of activities to do - like plant a tree, snorkel in the river and take a tour of the Mayan ruins on site. The beach is rocky though and not great for swimming. Seemed to be lots of beach chairs around the pool and on the beach. Food at the buffets and restaurants was ok but not always hot

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great resort

The resort was what was promised. We had a great 10 days there. The food was great .The room was a bit smaller than we had anticipated from the brochure we did not spend a lot of time there as it was for the most part sunny and we wanted to spend time in the sun.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: excellent resort

the grounds were unbelievable nice structure and design. the food was top notch. All restaurants were clean and neat, well set up, the staff were friendly and great to talk to and entertaining. The entertainment was great at night and during the day the staff offered a variety of activities.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Fabulous resort

Amazing room, property and food. Especially loved the French restaurant at the Palace. The staff were friendly and the food amazing. The beach was huge and the water warm. The evening shows were fun and they did a huge spread for Superbowl Sunday!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Amazing family vacation

This resort exceeded our expectations. The staff was always friendly and provided excellent service. The food was good. The buffet was the best we've had at an all inclusive. There was always a great variety of fresh food available. The grounds were immaculate. We would go back in a minute.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good time had!

Rooms were good and had lots of room for a family of 4. Only had one issue where room wasn't cleaned one or clean towels provided. Mini bar pretty good. Resturants- buffet had lots of selection, we tried 3 al cartel and enjoyed them all. Bar service could be slow at times and the odd time bartenders were not overly pleasant. Pools at Coba were great, very big and the kids enjoyed the splash pad. Coba was super busy, it I were to return I think I would stay at Tulum or Akumal section, little more [... read more] relaxing environment. Over all I would recommend coba to family's, not sure I would for couples or a group aldult vacations. We got what we paid for and were overall happy!
