It is wonderful resort out of my imagine. the location, beach, facility, layout are perfect! fully relax and enjoy with my family. will recommendation definitely! The bathroom decorated low quality. should be improvement. The toilet button is so hard to push for flushing.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Beautiful Resort!

The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful! I would go back in a heart beat. A bit high priced but a stellar vacation spot! I’m hoping to return next year! Food was fabulous, every inch was spotlessly clean and the maid service and wait staff were amazing!😍

Krystal Grand Cancun: Very good staff

We stayed in the older tower.it was still great. The staff here is fabulous . 24 hour room service . Beautiful beach. Pool chairs are limited but we always found something . Bufffet very small but happy there’s not a ton of re-used or unused food . The quality of the food was good and just limited. Service staff and cleaning was excellent . Small balcony’s . Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Incredible Resort!!

Visited Hotel XCaret Feb2-9th and it exceeded all of our expectations. The people, the food, the pools, the drinks, the parks - all so wonderful! We had the best vacation we've ever had as a family, this is truly an "all inclusive" resort. I rated 4 stars for the beaches/pools because the pools were amazing - however if you are a beach person this may not be the resort for you but everything else was absolutely 5 stars!!

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Exceeded Expectations

A beautiful resort. Meticulously clean. Beautiful pools and gorgeous beaches. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. The buffet was creative and always fresh. The alacarte restaurants were very good, as well. There were no crowds around the pool. This may have been because we went the second week in January, which is traditionally a quiet time for the resort. A perfect vacation. We will be going back.

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Relaxation

Beautiful, well kept grounds, large, clean rooms. Professional, friendly staff, easy to communicate in English. Quiet & relaxing. Smaller resort with plenty of al a carte dining options. Lots to do within a short drive.

Secrets Huatulco: Fantastic Stay

Went from Feb 3-10. The resort is beautiful top to bottom and the beach is spectacular. The restaurants were all fantastic, one caution I would pass along is that all the restaurants offer multiple courses which I would suggest making use of as portions are on the smaller side, with the exception of Castaways which serves up massive steaks. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Despite what others have said we didnt find the ocean rough at all, even on 'red flag' days. Yes,  [... read more]if you can't swim then this isn't for you, but the waves added to the enjoyment for us! My only issue would be the beach chair situation as it can be a struggle at times to find a spot (pool or ocean) as there are plenty of aholes who throw towels down at 6am only to sit in them for 10 minutes a day several hours later. The staff will keep an eye out and move belongings/towels that have sat idle for an extended period of time but you kind of have to ask them to find you a spot before they're willing to go to that length, which I can appreciate as it's a bit of an awkward situation for them, but that is the hotel policy. It would just be a whole lot easier if they simply had an extra stack of loungers. One other recommendation would be to avoid rooms close to the 'center' / lobby, as you can hear the nightly Sky Bar entertainment crystal clear, it does shutdown between 11-1130pm, and although most nights we were out there enjoying it, there were two occasions where we had early mornings and wanted to get to sleep before then but couldn't.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Robbed and Insulted in Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal

The worst costumer service I ever experienced in my entire life! We were three couples and a single friend who wanted to have a great vacation time in Mexico but our vacation turned into our worst trip ever due to the way that this so called "LUXURY" resort treated us!!! We arrived at the resort on Friday Feb 1 just before midnight and we had to wait for 2 hours to check in because they did not have available rooms and they were short-staffed. He ended up giving us double beds instead of a qu [... read more]een bed or a king (Room 7322) cause nothing else was available!!! Although this was inconvenience, we thought we could still enjoy our stay, but it only gets worse from here. On the second night, my wife tripped over a broken tile next to our room and got bruises on her leg as a result. I wanted to report this to the hotel director, Vannesa, but she refused to give me an incident report form and did not even fix the broken tile over our stay. So, I decided to record the incident on tape and upload it here. And FINALLY, on Wednesday, we wanted to buy some excursions when we realized $100USD was missing from our wallet which was locked in the SAFETY BOX!! We told our friends and guess what $120USD was also missing from our friends (AGAIN the money that was LOCKED in the SAFE BOX). Immediately, we reported this robbery to the hotel security and two security guards and a manager showed up 30 min later. They asked us few questions and told us to fill out the robbery forms and THEN they started SEARCHING our rooms and our BAGGAGE!!!!! like we stole our own money!!!! THIS IS SO WRONG AND INSULTING!!! The next morning Vannesa, the director, and three security guys came to our room to investigate the safety box. They downloaded the date and times that the safe was opened and closed (49 TIMES!!!!!) and erased the safe memory. She called us in the evening and told us the investigation is complete and they closed this case, as they do not believe anyone broke into our safe and stole our money. We asked for an official letter with the investigation results, she refused. We then asked her to provide us all the dates and times that our safe box were opened to cross reference them with our group photos and our restaurant reservations to help them understand that during some of those times we were having dinner at the restaurants and could not be physically in our room. BUT SHE REFUSED AGAIN!!!!! This is not a cheap resort, but even with a luxury hotel something ridiculous like this could still happen! Be Careful! I would never visit this HOTEL AGAIN and obviously would not recommend it to anyone. For THOSE who are in this HOTEL please count you money in your SAFE BOX!

Melody Maker Cancun: Our interpretation of Heaven

First and foremost we would like to thank Michelle Turco at Trip Central for guiding us in the right direction. We were thinking of going to Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican, Bahamas, Barbados and Mexico. My wife and I did our research for a month or so on these destinations and our needs. Based on our research and Michelle's knowledge we choose the Melody Maker in Cancun, Mexico. The ocean w [... read more]as crystal clear, the beach had white sand, which was groomed every morning. The workers at the resort were always pleasant. They were constantly cleaning, manicuring all the gardens, several security guards monitoring the grounds and several lifeguards on duty every day.The food was amazing, many choices, breakfast for me, was the best. Although everyone was pleasant, a special shoutout to Jonathan at the pool side bar, Abraham at the booth for excursions, and the gentleman who helped us check in, also the two girls at the "buffet" reception desk, always a friendly greeting. We are already planning to return. I've read some posts about The Melody Maker that were not always positive and yes we had some issues. For instance our fridge wasn't stocked on a couple of occasions, the doors leading to the rooms slam shut and they had light construction going on to improve the resort, "big whippy ding dong", it is a 5-star resort in our our opinion, and everything does not go as planned, people need to relax "roll with punches" as we did. Bottom line, the food, music, beach, sand ,water, drinks, safety, room (and view from it),hotel personnel, were all top notch and you can't ask for anything more. It met and exceeded our expectations and will return.

Secrets Huatulco: Awesome Vacation

We went as a group of 9 family members of varying ages and interests and everyone loved the resort. The quaity of the food, drinks and service was more than any of us had ever experienced at other all inclusive resorts.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: good last minute spot

sunwing was great with arranging transport to and from the airport. The food overall was great (the steak house had too many of us returning our steaks as they were tough and not cook right but all else was good). The RIU beside us was very noisy and because our room was on that side we were kept awake a few nights. Staff were fantastic and the complex was kept spotless. Too bad you can't swim in the ocean out front but it is only a 20 minute walk to a beach that you can swim at. Unico 20 87 Hotel Riviera Maya: Love Unico 20 87

Unico 20 87 is an amazing adults only resort. A FIVE STAR vacation all the way! The room (we had a swim up in building 3) was perfect. The food was top notch and every bite delicious - our favs included: the coffee, the smoothies, the fresh made chilaquiles at the breakfast buffet and everything we tried at the Cueva Siete (Mexican restaurant). Las Brisas Huatulco: Winter Vacation 2019

Just returned from a 12 day/11 night all inclusive WestJet vacation booked through TripCentral. Special thanks to Danielle Pyette at TripCentral for a great location/vacation suggestion. Extra thanks to the Las Brisas WestJet representative Angle you are awesome! As seen in many other reviews Las Brisas is an older resort with Lots of stairs/hills. The extra friendly staff, the great food, the great beaches and the well maintained grounds are why I give Las Brisas a 5 star rating. Can’t say enough about the Amazing staff and food. We ventured off resort to local towns. The restaurants/transportation/local people are also great/friendly-always felt safe. And of coarse the weather is perfect. Highly recommend Las Brisas Huatulco-we will be returning.

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: this was a great place

grounds were very well taken care of, food was great with lots of variety, service and staff were just great, very helpful .....room was good, lots of room and comfortable, turn down service was much appreciated .......gym was in a great location with the sunrise each morning......

Barcelo Maya Colonial: 9 Days of sun

WE been to the barcelo maya 6 times over the last 23 years .We always have a good time ,the beach are great ,pools are fun.They have added more things to do like water park ,10 pin bowling.But i will say i was disappointed at the prices they charged.15 dollars for one game of bowling come on.this is the first time i can say a lot of food was not hot.

Secrets Huatulco: Secrets Huatulco is Amazing

The setting is amazingly beautiful. The staff and people of Huatulco were extremely friendly, polite, efficient and hard working. The weather can’t be beat anywhere in the Caribbean and we have visited almost all of the major islands. The food was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of the restaurants. Loved that ,most were a la carte. Loved the adults only, loved the no dinner reservations required. Loved no bracelets, loved the free water spots, loved the free room servi [... read more]ce, loved premium brand alcohol, loved free resort wide wi fi, rooms were great size, great balconies and wide opening to balconies. As many reviews indicate, the preferred club should offer some additional amenities but definitely wouldn’t deter us from going. Gym was adequate and spa great, but a little pricey The only recommendation I would have would be to implement towel cards, sorry, yes towel cards, for two reasons, firstly to prevent chair hoarding. The resort staff do their best to monitor but it is extremely difficult to control. Secondly for environmental reasons, their unnecessary laundry should significantly decrease. Another eco friendly option would be to have water coolers in public areas to refill water bottles. It’s hot and lots of water is required. This was our second trip to Huatulco, first to Secrets. We, a group of 9, would highly recommend Secrets and Huatulco. Thanks to Candace at Trip Central for making it happen smoothly.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Very well run resort

While the grounds are sprawling, and you definitely need to be fit to manage all the stairs (there are no elevators to get between many locations; do NOT come here if you cannot manage stairs), the many levels and the space between facilities make it seem uncrowded and relaxed. The general vibe is laid back, but efficient. The staff is relentlessly helpful, and the facilities are very clean. Overheard someone complaining that there was no food available between 11:30 am and 1 pm. Never  [... read more]heard another complaint, and seriously, if you can't stuff breakfast in you before 11:30, you could order room service (maybe there's a fee for that, not sure). We will be returning.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Not Suitable for All

This resort is suitable to families and young adults. It is not suitable for those who want a quiet holiday. The pools were full of kids and the beach full of loud drinkers. We were awaken almost every night when the discotheque closed at 2am with loud ruckus. This is a huge resort with lots of amenities. Excellent fitness centre with a huge variety of exercise equipment and fitness classes (yoga, zumba, spinning). The staff were friendly and helpful. The manager was not! Did not take [... read more] our complaint about noise (each night yelling and screaming until 5 am) seriously. We won't return!!!

Catalonia Riviera Maya: Didn't want to leave

To start off the staff were amazing. All the staff treated our 2 boys like gold which made them feel so special. Our room was clean and comfortable. We have stayed at a larger resort before and everything was pretty spaced out. It was nice to be able to walk to our dinners, the pool or the beach. We even walked 10 minutes to the marina to do a bit of shopping. I found the food to be very good with a lot of options. The only thing I would say is skip the Tapas...not even worth your time. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Pampered relaxation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at Bahia Principe Coba! So many options we didn't even explore 'cause we just loved to relax by the pool. Spacious rooms, extensive, varied buffet and fabulous a-la-carte restaurants! And so safe!! We lost a purse but staff found it and returned it, not a penny missing! Never worried when I'm at Bahia Principe resorts, never had a bad experience, lovely people and attention to detail everywhere. Will definitely go back again!
