Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Alright resort

Well where to start, first Jamicia is beautiful. The Jamician people for the most part were wonderful. The resort was large and it takes a couple of days just to learn the way around. The food was good, the sports bar didn't disappoint. The resort was clean the beach was a struggle due to seaweed. There is a incline so walking around if you have mobility issue are troublesome. The smell of sewage was bad. Which resorts do need to repair. The beds were like sleeping on wood. They could not mix  [... read more]a good drink. We lost water in our room for a few hours which would of been nice to been informed of.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Great location beautiful beach

Most of the staff was extraordinary, tu te friends well mainyained except should not spray that bug spray during the day do at night when people are sleeping. Garbage and Bund should be next to each other for dropping off dishes after eating. Riu Negril: resort riu negril jamaica

Riu Palace Aquarelle: Riu Palace Aquarelle Jamaica

The hotel is located approximately 35 minutes from the Montego Bay Airport. The property is relatively new, the rooms are attractive, and most offer at least a partial sea view, if not a full one. However, the check‑in experience was disappointing, as the staff were not particularly welcoming. Food: The buffet provides an excellent variety of options for all three meals, and we were consistently satisfied. A noteworthy detail: Thursday is lobster night, and the lobsters are large and delic [... read more]ious — though this is not advertised to guests. Booking the specialty restaurants is challenging. Reservations open online at midnight, and availability is limited; booking on a Monday night typically secures a table for Wednesday, but nothing is available for the following day. Waiting until the morning or during the day to book means there will be no openings left. The Steakhouse was a significant disappointment, while the other restaurants were excellent — Krystal was so good we went twice. At the Steakhouse, the rib‑eye steak was no more than a quarter‑inch thick, making it impossible to cook to medium‑rare; after returning it, the replacement was also well‑done. Pepe’s Food was underwhelming, we went once and we chose not to return. The Italian restaurant serves a reduced breakfast buffet from 8h00 to 10h00 - a much quieter and smaller vibe - nice change up from the big buffet which is open from 7h00 to 10h00. Do try the wings at the Sports Bar! We got our morning coffees there everyday. The iced coffee at Capucino in the main Lobby is fantastic and you can also get milkshakes and a variety of cakes, cookies and croissants - all excellent. Pools and Beach: Both the pools and the beach are beautiful, though guests should be prepared to rise early to secure a spot. Bars: The bar-tending team is excellent and consistently enforces the adults‑only policy in the designated areas. Derwayne and Rodinel were particularly outstanding — they remembered our preferred drinks and ensured we were well looked after throughout our stay. They have premium brand alcohols and use shelf alcohol for mixed drinks. There are multiple drink options and you can ask them to make you anything you want. Cleanliness: The property, including the rooms and common areas, is generally very clean. Our room experience varied depending on the staff member assigned that day. One attendant was exceptional, while the other was less attentive and did not consistently replenish towels or facecloths for two guests. Gift Shop and Beach Vendors: There are two gift shops on site, though the prices are quite high relative to the quality of the merchandise. There is sun lotion available at the gift shop and it's buy one get one free so it comes out to $15 USD per bottle. A short walk down the beach, past the Royalton Hotel, local vendors have tents offering a wide variety of items at more reasonable prices — some of the carvings are truly impressive. A few vendors also walk along the beachfront with smaller items for sale. We opted to take a taxi from the hotel entrance to a small mall five minutes away, which had an excellent selection of goods at very competitive prices. We highly recommend asking for Tracy Hudson or Sherlet Black — both are warm, trustworthy, and made us feel completely safe and well cared for. As a note, tours booked through the operators inside the resort are significantly more expensive than those arranged through the taxi services just outside the main entrance. We did a couple of tours with Tracy and Sherlet and they went above an beyond to provide excellent service, stayed with us and made sure everything ran smoothly at the venues. The Luminous Lagoon tour lady tried to double charge us and Sherlet was not having it, she called over the owner and everything was settle within a minute. Final Thoughts: A vacation is ultimately what you make of it. Jamaica is wonderfully relaxed, and even on cloudy or rainy days, the weather was enjoyable. The vast majority of people we encountered — truly 99% — were friendly, welcoming, and full of joy, so it’s best not to dwell on the rare exceptions. I would go back to Jamaica in a heartbeat - but I would try another adults only RIU Palace next time around - this one is not a "true" palace in terms of amenities, room service (limited offering) and specialty dining experiences due to the horrific "midnight" booking system.

Ocean Coral Spring: Great Hitel!

Food, staff and grounds were fabulous. Rooms were clean. Anything we needed, staff were quick to provide or direct us to. The beach had some rocks and was small/shallow but still refreshing and beautiful. Information about the hotel I.e. maps, hours if restaurants/bars etc would’ve been more easy to access had they been in print as the app was often not working and/or difficult to maneuver.

Ocean Coral Spring: Was exactly what we expected

The hotel is beautiful clean the food is good no issues the pools were clean the entertainment there was lots happening every night The beach was small and rocky, but I was ok with as I am not a beach person

Resort fails miserably on check-in, loungers in shaded areas and staffing levels. There is so little shade that you must be prepared to get up at 0430 for a shaded spot (its really a curtain draped over the top of a wood frame).This trip was for our grandkids and for them it was fabulous. Great pool, great food variety and wonderful entertainment staff. Buffet is a nighttime feeding frenzy. They open at 630 which, is far too late for kids. That causes a stampede. She answered all questions,was available if needed and made it an easy booking - outstanding!

Riu Ocho Rios: Had a fabulous time!

The hotel was incredibly clean, modern and there were tons of activities through the day and at night. Amazing food and the beach was gorgeous. Can’t say enough good things about this place. ……………………………………………………………….

Princess Senses the Mangrove: Huge resort with exceptional staff.

The hotel was amazing. Lots of fantastic restaurants, amazing coffee shops and bars. Entertainment staff were very friendly and engaging. Beach was not natural, but nice to look at. Not great for swimming. Luckily there are endless pools. Really felt at home and would definitely go back.

Ocean Coral Spring: Great time again

This is our 2nd time vacationing at Ocean Coral Springs. We were there in 2023 and now just last week March 2026. We purchased the Privileged package with an Ocean Front room. My husband and I have been to many resorts over our 39 years together and this was the 1st time we went back a 2nd time and we'll definitely go back again. The food was fantastic everywhere we ate. The beach is small and rocky so beach shoes are a must and we found it wasn't being kept as clean as the grounds were. The pool is huge and very clean and the lazy river was a blast. Other then that our stay was very relaxing enjoyable.

Riu Ocho Rios: Great Trip - Riu Ocho Rios

Food was the best I ever had. Sun every day and hot. Rained 5 minutes our last day. Resort was clean and the drinks were good. Nicest workers we have ever had at a resort. No vendors bugging you. Never did any excursions. Only wish the beach was longer as we usually walk the beach every day. Definitely a resort we would go back too.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Rose Hall Iberostar Jamaica

This was our 3 rd time to this resort and it never disappoints. Staff are super friendly especially entertainment and kitchen staff . We brought a lot of people with us this was their first time but they all seemed to enjoy it a lot as well . Would return there for sure highly recommended it .

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Nice resort

People mentioned it was under construction however it didn’t seem to show much. The grounds people were working hard to clean it up and planting new flowers and trees. The rooms were very big and clean but nothing extra special about them. Sunset cove was amazing! The pool was huge, clean and well maintained. Food was average we definitely never went hungry.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Absolutely Amazing!

We had a great week at the Runaway Bay Bahia Principe Resort. The accommodations were very clean, bright and roomie. The meals were delicious and there was lots of variety. We loved it - can’t say enough about the great time we had!

Riu Montego Bay: Could not ask for more!!!

My wife Joy, and I just returned from RIU Montego Bay on the 25th of February 2026 after a relaxing and top notch resort. This resort is only 10 minutes from Montego Bay airport and is in emasculate condition, considering Jamaica had recently been hit by a massive hurricane. The only way on the resort that indicated it had been hit by the hurricane was that the palm trees were missing some leaves everything was up and running at top speed. We were able to eat at the Stake restaurant twice during our 7 day stay and the 10 once stake was the best meal possible. All of the bars served you quickly and orderly making sure you were looking after as quickly as possible. The entertainment staff did a magnificent job and kept things hopping including talking to us and expanding how they weathered the hurricane and keeping guests safe during it . A big shout out to Allison and Suzy from the entertainment gang that provided our fun times and also Kiara at front desk who kept us informed and was able to answer any questions we might have. Both Me and my wife are Rui members and were able to check into Rui resorts before arriving and because Joy has mobility issues we had requested certain buildings and floors before arriving. WOW. Whoever is in charge of the room placement nailed it on the head !!!!! We could not be more pleased with our room placement, Ground floor and very short walks to the pools, bar and Pepsi outside lunch restaurant!! Rui out did yourselves and made our stay the BEST ever. Also the packages of Blue Mountain coffee from both Tripcentral and the Front desk were much appreciated This has been one of the best Rui resort we have been to and we will definitely be back soon. Couples Tower Isle: Just what we were looking for!

This resort is older and smaller than the " hotels on a beach" type so everything was close and convient. Beautiful room although not a lot of time spent in it! Balcony overlooking the pool and ocean was fantastic. (We paid extra for premium ocean view which was worth it imo. We are seniors so not interested in the party/nightlife scene but enjoyed the early entertainment - music - every night. Food was great! Grounds well kept. All in all a great trip was had!

The Hotel was beautiful. The grounds were kept well. The staff were exceptional and the food was so good. Unfortunately our room was clean but there was a musty smell, but we just slept there so it was tolerable.

I haven't been to an all inclusive for a few years. I was very impressed with the all inclusive bracelets - never having to remember your key. Loved the water dispensary. The hotel was very clean, the staff - outstanding . However, I didn't understand the crazy spa prices and having to pay for pinot grigio. Loved the pools and location. Loved Jamaica night set outside on the beach. Definitely a 5 star.

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing people and food

Our room was always cleaned and tidy with amazing towel decorating. Always enough towels packed and tidy amazing room service.I enjoyed long walks in the mornings quite and always clean. I was very surprised to see attendance mopping the outside walkway. The sports bar coffee and drinks early was great but service way to long my main disappointment they need another place for at least coffee alone. But there late nite patties were great. The Italian was ok the Steak house was horrible thier food was the worst but the service was excellent the servers made it fun. The entertainment was the best i ever experienced all 7 nights that we were there. Didn't like the white party it was to packed the beach was a blast. The pool were cold and one level but the beach was awesome so we stayed in the beach all day i missed beach service drinks although the two bar were reasonably close by. I have no comments on the two swim up bar cause my group of 18 persons we had kids with us and those were no kids zone but that not what keep us out it was the nice beach. I being to cruises,Dominican,Cuba, Mexico ,Tobago and this was my 3rd trip to Jamaica. But this one was special and it's the only place I say I will definitely go back just my wife and I we loved it. Thanks to all the hardworking servers, cleaners, bars and the best the entertainment crew the most dedicated talented and warm loving people. Thanks all we had a great experience.
