Ocean Coral Spring: Great time again

This is our 2nd time vacationing at Ocean Coral Springs. We were there in 2023 and now just last week March 2026. We purchased the Privileged package with an Ocean Front room. My husband and I have been to many resorts over our 39 years together and this was the 1st time we went back a 2nd time and we'll definitely go back again. The food was fantastic everywhere we ate. The staff were very professional and friendly. We were greeted with smiles and well wishes from everyone we met. The grounds  [... read more]and our room were kept clean and safe. The beach is small and rocky so beach shoes are a must and we found it wasn't being kept as clean as the grounds were. The pool is huge and very clean and the lazy river was a blast. Other then that our stay was very relaxing enjoyable.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Our Stay at El Beso

What a wonderful place. There were so many meal options. The staff could not be friendlier. Where we stayed, the music was too loud for most of the day. El Beso is an adults-only complex, but the music was largely geared towards a much younger crowd. On the other hand, El Faso, which was a family resort, had much better music, and there were more options for entertainment and restaurants. The El Faso lobby was also stunning and a great place to hang out. We also took a couple of tours, thanks to John, who was most helpful in arranging them. We had one issue: our coffee in the room wasn't restocked. Because we like to sit with a coffee before breakfast, we were assured it was on the way. We eventually gave up, walked down to Mike's, and got two coffees. After breakfast, we returned to the room, but there was still no coffee. It did show up later that afternoon, so we had it the following day.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Beautiful resort

Great customer service, great food!!, nice rooms, spacious and clean, beautiful pool areas. The beach was full of sargassum during our stay (March 7-14) and the hotel didn't do much effort to clean it, except one day when there was a wedding and we were able to swim in the ocean. The other days we had to go in the pool or at the next hotel's beach where there was installed a barrier for the sargassum.. Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Even better than expected

This resort was a nicely laid out resort. We were a group of 4 adults (2 couples) and we really wanted a bit of a combination vacation. We wanted to be able to "join in the fun" and we also wanted to be able to relax and enjoy the sun. We were pleasantly surprised at how well this resort was laid out to easily allow this to happen. The pool set up is nice. 4 pools - a kids  [... read more]pool that is clearly suited to smaller children. A large and quiet pool that was amazing for relaxing and just "chilling out by the pool". The main "party" pool with the swim up bar was where we ended up most of the time on resort as the bartenders were AMAZING. they remember your name, they welcome you and they made everyone feel welcome and special. I have a lot of stories about the people who we talked to who absolutely loved the bartending teams. Gustavo was my personal favorite - an amazing bartender with a seemingly endless number of drinks he could create! I have read all the reviews about people not getting chairs around the pools and will admit that if you show up at 1PM it can be a challenge. I have been to many resorts and the normal chair reserving happens - it always does and is something you just have to accept at all inclusive resorts. I will say that I was able to get chairs for all 4 of our group every day without any problems - granted - I am an early riser and had my pick each day - but there were still a LOT of open chairs later in the morning. Do not worry about the reviews complaining about no chairs - they are there just liker every other resort. The entertainment staff was GREAT. We didn't spend a lot of time over at the adults pool - but the time we were there was excellent. Same thing about the issues with reservations for the restaurants. they have an app you can log into and it goes live at 10AM. if you want a particular time and restaurant - you need to be ready at 10AM to log in and use the service - it is VERY easy to do. IF you are not good with an app on your phone they have guest services available to help you get your reservation... it is a very nice set up. The food at the restaurants was very good. I am a fan of Japanese food so I loved that restaurant but all of them were very good and had excellent selections. The buffet was very good as well - changing selections, hot and fresh stations, and well organized. One suggestion I have for the management team at the resort is to open Mikes Coffee Shop a little earlier. there was normally a line up and that could have been avoided if they open a bit earlier... but the coffee selection (hot and cold) were excellent as were the cookies, muffins, banana bread and sandwiches! NOTE - If you are looking for Michelin 5* restaurants - this is not it.... they are very good and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but have reasonable expectations of an all inclusive resort and you wont be disappointed. Room we had was room 11304. Recently renovated, great view of garden and ocean, close to amenities, clean and fresh. Again - All you can ask for at a resort. Only reason I rated the beach/pool as a 4 is the beach was nearly unusable due to Sargassum wees and while that is not the resorts fault, it took away from the beach options. Location is about an hour walk (actually a very nice and safe walk) from town and we enjoyed walking around and enjoying some local restaurants. I truly enjoyed the resort.... Staff is amazing - the grounds are well maintained and the whole vacation was a real success

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Good, mid-range resort

The rooms were quite nice, but be aware that requests made in advance (e.g., 2 queen beds instead of a king; swim-up) may not be honoured when you check in. Food was adequate but service was slow. No food/snack options at the beach…a snack cart would be a great addition. The resort does not enforce the no-reserving-chairs or the non-smoking policies. Pool chairs were usually all taken by 7am and beach chairs by 8:30. Overall, the resort seems understaffed

Ocean El Faro: A Beautiful Stay at El Faro Resort in Punta Cana

We had a great stay at El Faro Resort in Punta Cana. The resort itself is beautiful, with well-kept grounds and a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which really added to the overall experience. The restaurants were very good overall. The buffet had a huge variety of food, so there was something for everyone — even picky eaters. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant, which had excellent meals. The Privi [... read more]lege breakfast was also very nice, with the option to enjoy the buffet or order directly from their menu. Mike’s Coffee was always busy, but it was definitely worth the wait. The coffee and treats there were a great way to start the day or take a quick break in the afternoon. The resort is fairly large, so the trolley service was great to have for getting around easily. We also had WiFi all over the resort, which was very convenient. The lazy river was a lot of fun and something we used often during our stay. Another highlight was feeding the fish in the lagoon — that was a really cool experience. The lagoon area itself was great because it was mostly sandy with very few rocks. One part of the beach was a bit rocky, but it was manageable if you had water shoes. The lagoon definitely made up for that. Nexus also offered a free visit to a local store, which was a nice extra and a good opportunity to pick up souvenirs. We chose not to take part in the timeshare presentation, and the staff were respectful and not pushy when we said no. One tip for visitors: don’t go on the second floor of the lighthouse. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend El Faro Resort to anyone visiting Punta Cana.

Ocean Blue and Sand: LOVED this resort

My husband and I have never stayed at an Ocean signature resort / H10 hotel line and the Ocean Blue and Sand resort did not disappoint. We were very impressed at the location in Punta Cana. It was a great stay and no real complaints that impacted our stay. Food, service, beach, pools, and our room were all fantastic. We appreciate Margaret's support, from TripCentral, who helped us book this last minute getaway!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Nice resort, beautiful beach

Good resort, the rooms are comfortable updated, the bathrooms are large, double sinks, big shower. The à la carte restaurants are nice, good food no reservations necessary except for the steakhouse and japanese. No limit for the number of time you can use the à la carte. The buffet in the morning was a mess. Difficult to find a set up table, slow service. The selection of food is good. Probably could use more staff for the morning rush. The lunch and dinner seemed to run more smoothly. The groun [... read more]ds are nice but dated. Need more plants and flowers to give it this lush tropical look. Lobby and reception are very nice. Beautiful beach but a bit crowded. Need more umbrellas and shade area. Staff is uneven some are nice and friendly others not so much.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Second round was even better

We went to Ocean Blue and Sun last year with the family in the privilege area and it was really good which is why we came back this year. I don’t know if they forgot about us last year or if they’ve added more options to the privilege club because this year we got a Nescafé coffee maker and a regular coffee maker, a beach bag and a toiletry bag with essentials. The food is always good in all restaurants. Best Mamajuana in the sports bar! The beach is fantastic. Float in the ocean with the gentle waves or walk for an hour in either direction. The sand is perfect. Everything is clean, everywhere. The grounds are maintained immaculately. Super comfy beds and pillows. Like every other resort, they have signs saying no reserving the beach chairs, but everyone does. One morning at 5 AM. We went to check the cabanas and most were all reserved. All the bars were good and the Michael Jackson show was pretty impressive. We really like the piano bar.

ROOMS WERE LARGE BEAUTIFUL BATHROOM GROUNDS WERE LUSH AND WELL KEPT. STAFF WAS AMAZING POOL BAR WAS VERY GOOD AT TAKING CARE OF YOU VERY FRIENDLY.ALWAYS LOTS OF FUN AT THE POOL BAR WITH STAFF ENTERTAINING SINGING AND DANCING. NICE BUFFET RESTARANT DOWN AT THE BEACH BEAUTIFULVIEW OF THE OCEAN. A LA CARTE RESTAURANTS WERE GOOD THE STEAKHOUSE WAS THE BEST AS WELL AS JAPANESE.RESORT WAS NOT NOT OVERLY BUSY WHICH WAS VERY NICE.BE BACK IN 2027

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: EL BESO is the way to go!

Very clean, great food (and fresh), great people, friendly employees. Peaceful on El Beso adult only side. Big resort, lots to do and see. Bring crocs to wear, lots of walking! The train helps, and is very convenient. Speak Spanish if you can, most employees don't know much English. Beautiful views everywhere. I had a blast! We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Coral Spring Resort in Falmouth Jamaica. The rooms were lovely, the food in all the restaurants we went to, was delicious and well presented. The staff were very courteous and knowledgeable. They were quick to ask if anything was needed. The pool and activities kept us busy and moving, the grounds were lovely. We would recommend more ambient lighting on the walkways near the pool area for the evenings. Staff collected weeds on the beach but it appeared that it might be a never ending battle to keep them at bay. One afternoon we enjoyed the Lazy River. The evening shows were entertaining and very well done. All in all, this resort was amazing and we had a great time, I would strongly recommend this resort to family and friends.

Ocean Coral Spring: Amazing Resort

I loved this resort. The proximity from the rooms to the pool to the bars and restaurants was awesome! You didnt have to walk a mile from your room to get anywhere or pack a bag for the day because the room was so far away. The pool was huge. Lots of bars and restaurants. Everything was very clean. Newer buildings with modern amenities. One of the best parts was "Mikes" coffee shop. Basically a Starbucks for free opened early closed late. Tons of variety and lots of small extras such as mint at the tea station. Everything was so carefully thought of. Everything was great! Only downfall which we didnt really mind was the beach. It wasnt great but we never spend much time at the beach. I would definitely go back or try a resort under the same brand.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Beautiful Resort

This resort is such a beautiful resort. We were very impressed at how the resort is laid out. The “main strip” is something we have never seen before. Wonderful walkway flanked on either side by restaurants, shopping, fitness gym, bowling alley & many other activities. The restaurants were fantastic & our favourite being the Japanese restaurant Sakura. The “Adults Only” portion of the resort is well laid out. Overall we loved this resort & would definitely make a return visit.

Ocean Coral Spring: One of the best!

The whole resort is amazing but the beach is not very good. It was hard to get lounge chairs in the shade around the pool. The food is amazing. There was always something for everyone. The Cafe was really special. Service very good.

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Great new Resort.

Stayed Feb 23 - March 4th 2026 Ocean Allure in Costa Mujeres is new facility approx. 1 hr drive from the Cancun airport. Typically with a few drop off's to other resorts along the way. Check in was 10: 30 pm. Since we were the only ones arriving at the time, it was quick and efficient. We were up graded to a swim up first floor room junior suit. Room was clean, well stocked with towels amenities etc. mini fridge stocked everyday...pools we large, clean and temp was ok. Beach was on red fla [... read more]g everyday except one, so was a bit wavey and there was plentiful seaweed in the water and on shore. The sand was clean with no shells or corral/stones as was the walk into ocean. There plentiful beach chairs at both the pools and ocean. lots of umbrellas at pools and palapas at the beach (could be more though as went quick ) beach was long and can walk for as long as you would want and was perfectly safe. there was always entertainment and activities at the two main pools. Bowling and pools tables were fun. we played pickleball on the three courts for the first time and had a lot of fun...there was tennis also available. Food: coffee shop amazing. Bar were plentiful throughout the resort and drinks were good. Morning and lunch buffets were available with food being plentiful and good variety . never had a problem fining something different of good. However at night there was only A la carte available . There was five restaurants (different themes) and only four were open each night as on a rotating days one would close each night. This did create some long waits and travellers getting very upset and angry over waits....it was not an ideal situation and a lot of talk about it during the trip. they missed the boat there defiantly. We did hear they were short staff so hopefully for the resort they open ng the buffet at dinner and alleviate a lot of pressure on the A la cartes. This was our only complaint we could find ....workers were very friendly and more than willing to help with any needs or just to talk. Bottom line..great new resort..dining needs some work

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Awesome All Around!

Great staff, food and amenities. Great choices at the buffet daily, sit down restaurants were good as well. Room was clean and comfortable, all of the staff were super friendly. Would go back again!

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Nice Resort

We loved the resort, although there were a few areas that were disappointing. Food was average Drinks were ok Room was very humid and our thermostat was not working properly. They came to fix it but it still didn't work. Also our patio door was extremely difficult to open, they came 3 times to fix it but again not well . We were constantly having to ask for towels, facecloths and hand towels, which we got very sparingly. Prices in the gift shop were outrageously expensive.

Ocean Coral Spring: Relaxing!!

Hotel was very clean and beautiful designed. Has a modern feel to it. People are not very social though with the exception of Latoya "sunshine" at the pool bar. Drinks were,very well served and tasty although cold beer ran out quickly. The hotel caters more to tourist with there American foods and lack of authentic Jamaican food at the buffet. The hotel should have more chairs for the pool and beach because when the hotel is half full you won't find anywhere to sit. Pool is only 3ft throughout which i gues is good depending who you ask and the beach is full of coral and sea weed so there very small area to actually enjoy in the water. Other than that it was a great stay and better them most hotels I've stayed at in DR or CUBA. A must try!!!!

Ocean El Faro: Ocean El Faro

The resort was very clean and the guest services was particularly helpful. Buffet was great and we enjoyed the Italian, Steakhouse and Mexican restaurants. The beach was difficult to manage so I was unable to go to ocean. Bar staff were great.
