Beautiful resort and great service!!

We loved food, there was more than enough variety of food. We tried 3 restaurants and service was very good. we loved the resort beautiful beach. Resort has a market too. It is a huge resort so there is enough to walk around.

Great resort !

Very clean, staff were very pleasant and friendly . Always someone available for help or to provide a ride anywhere. Great room service and maid service. The food was awesome , there was wi-fi available on the resort free of charge .

Very clean

Just returning from from the Grand Palladium.This resort is large,but well kept.the staff is very friendly,and helpful.my complaint about here is the restauants set up.I did not find this good at all.They say first come,but when arrive,did you reserve????If this is first come ,why did we need to reserve?Needs something done about that.Our room was good,cleaned everyday,downfall in the room,not a big one but a helpful one,TV channel guide would be nice.

Amazing resort

this resort/hotel/restaurant was great, friendly service,clean rooms/sidewalks/pools/beaches bed were comfortable, easy access to other resorts, nice little stores,lots of excursion opportunity. Very large resort

The grounds are beautiful and most of the staff were helpful. A la carte restaurants are good but the favourites (Italian and Japanese) are more difficult to get into unless you go very early. Trolley around the resort is a nice added feature to help get around. Beach area is very clean with smooth sand and the two BBQ's at lunch time were good. Beautiful resort

The Grand Palladium Palace is a beautiful, well maintained resort. The beach front is gorgeous, and there were always ample beach chairs to choose from. The beach bars were convenient and the mid-day BBQ offering was great. The pools are very nice, and again there were a lot of beach chairs available. For an all inclusive resort, the food was quite good. The breakfast choices were ample, but I do wish that breakfast was offered later than 10am. There are next to no options between 10am and 12pm [... read more] in terms of food, so if you miss breakfast you're out of luck. The main complaint I have about the resort is the a la carte dining system. There are MANY a la carte choices, but unless you pay the upgrade fee to be in the Royal Suites, you cannot make reservations. This meant lining up each evening to give our names to the hostess and then waiting sometimes an hour to get a table. Also, the food at each restaurant didn't always match the theme (for example turkky breast with cranberries at the Mexican restaurant). I should also mention the beautiful sports facilities - tennis courts, badminton, volleyball and soccer, as well as a decent sized gym. Overall it was a great experience. We had some great service, and some service that was not helpful nor friendly, but I think that is more a cultural issue.

Overall a good break

Our experience on the day of arrival was disappointing. We waited additional 21/2 hrs after check in time for our room key only to walk in to a room already occupied! We were told "that is your room, have the bell boy remove the luggages in the room"! We insisted to be assigned another room instead. The service in general is average however the resort and the beach are fantastic. We find the food quality of the a la carte restaurants average so we dined at the buffet restaurants many times over.

An amazing resort for anyone to go.

It's an amazing resort, the service is excellent the staff cannot ask for anything better, we had an amazing time. The grounds are amazing the beaches, the food is awesome, the entertainment was excellent.

Beautiful Resort with great a la cart restaurants

We loved our loft room, the grounds are beautiful and well kept, restaurants are clean and most staff friendly, attentive and speak fairly good english. David, a waiter at the Buffets was amazing and very attentive. The food at the buffets could use some improving but was better than the buffets on our trip to Cuba. The a la carts were really good, the Japanese, Brazillian, Steak House and the Bamboo were my favorites. The beach is beautiful, the pools were very nice. Great vacation

We were upgraded to Royal Suites and the rooms were exquisite. Free WiFi was included but was often slow and it didn't work on all of our devices. Staff were extremely friendly and the grounds were well kept. Meals were all good, particularly the Japanese Restaurant. We've stayed at the Palladium before and were not disappointed with this trip.

Not impressed with the management

Our vacation was from Feb 8th to Feb 15th. When we got to the hotel they did not give us any information regarding the hotel. We went to book our a la cartes and were told they are first come unless you are a Royal member. In some cases that meant standing in line for an hour or more. I did not book a vacation to stand in line. The hotel checked us out a day before so my husband had to provide them with our information again so we could stay our last night. All we could ask for in Punta Cana-da!

Clean rooms; beautiful beaches and great service (although sometimes on "DR time). Must try the Coco Loco! Had a great (and very muddy) time on the Punta Cana Boogies! Only downside was pushy local vendors.

EXCELLENT RESORT.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS RESORT WAS GREAT. WE HAD A LOFT SUITE WITH THE BALCONY FACING THE POOL. FOOD WAS GREAT. THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP YOU. WE FEEL THIS WAS THE BEST RESORT WE HAVE BEEN TO SO FAR, AND WE HAVE BEEN TO PUNTA CANA 3 TIMES.

Great resort!

Abundance of foods to choose from. Friendly and hard working staff! Nice lobby, accommodations, and beautiful beach! The massage on the beach was terrific! Things that could be improved: don't allow vendors to harass guests into buying their products. Too aggressive! Evening entertainment could have been better. Great resort

Atmosphere is fun . They also had a kids pool there to entertain the children food was awesome had something to eat there all the time and the service was great rooms were very clean my second time there

Great break to the winter

Beautiful grounds, beach, food and drinks. Rooms were a little dated and public bathrooms on the resorts were not kept clean. The beaches did have excess seaweed on them but they tried their best to clean it up daily. Never had trouble getting 6 chairs on the beach in the afternoon, but more difficult around the pools in the afternoon. We didn't care though because the beach was much cooler and beautiful. The buffets were also good especially in the evening. Also had great service! Sometimes there will be a long wait to get in since you can't make reservations unless you are in the luxury section.

Amazing resort

Everyone was so friendly, treated you like family. The pool was beautiful, lobby was comfortable to relax and have a cocktail. The food was a variety of flavor, we enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. Thank you

Great Resort, wonderful staff.

Jan 16-23-15. Very nice resort, staff was amazing, from wait staff to maintenance very officiate and friendly. Grounds were beautiful, pools great, food was very good. All 16 of us had a great time. The beach was kept clean and there were always chairs to be found, poolside as well as the beach. Resort was big enough but not too big. Really enjoyed the adult pool just to sneak off for some time on our own.

Exceeded Expectations, Debunked any Bad Reviews

Hotel, room, pools and beach were all gorgeous, food (especially restaurants) was delicious, entertainment crew is excellent! We relaxed AND had SO much fun participating in different things every day and night. From our unexpectedly wonderful oceanview Loft Suite to the excellent service from every single happy staff member, we had no trouble debunking every bad thing we had read on reviews of the resort prior to our trip. Beautiful resort

The rooms were very clean and the grounds were kept very well. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was great. We were very pleased with this resort from the waiters,the tour guides and any other staff we came in contact with.
